maybe the zonai built the coliseum right next to the burial site as an insult to the Gerudo.
It's unusual to have an entertainment center right next to a graveyard.
Well, the Colosseum seems like something similar to a gladiator arena. After all, when you enter it and attempt to access the locked treasure chest, the entire thing locks itself up, and it unleashes horriblins upon you that you have to defeat to gain freedom and the prize. Additionally, the Yiga claim that you must have courage and a strong will to try and find "the hidden treasure in the graveyard" because you run the risk of disturbing the spirits of the executed.
So, my theory is that the Colosseum was used to make a spectacle of an execution, where the condemned would be made to fight to the death, and then they were subsequently buried in the adjacent graveyard. Now who was being executed here and for what crimes, that is up for debate.

hey boss?
have you ever looked at the royal regalia of japan?
there's one item that looks
suspiciously suspicious
it had a kidney-like shape.... one might call it tear-shaped
Yes indeed! The secret stones are based off “Magatama” which, if I am not mistaken, are referred to as such in the japanese version of the game. They certainly didn’t shy away from the reference which makes it all the more ridiculous that whoever did the English translation thought to call them “Secret Stones”. They aren’t secret to anybody!

Hi bloo
How would you go about verifying go fund me's?
I recently got and ask asking me to share their link and i would like to help but im not sure if its legit or not
Hey anon. The way I verify gofundme's is that I check whether the gofundme is on @/el-shab-hussein and @/nabulsi's spreadsheet which can be found here, or if @/90-ghost has shared it on his blog. I personally trust these users because I have followed Hussein's blog for a very long time, and he has put in years of work into not only talking about Palestine, but also Canadian politics which I follow closely as a Canadian. In fact, he is one of the admins that helps out on @/allthecanadianpolitics which is the largest Canadian politics blog on this site. In a similar vein, @/90-ghost has been on Tumblr for many years, speaking about the issues affecting Palestine as a Gazan, including how his own family suffered during the 2021 assault on Palestine. He was even interviewed. I could not see any of these people tanking years of work they have put into raising the voices of their people by promoting something that might be a scam, so I would consider them very trustworthy resources.
Additionally, I would suggest that you check out @/kyra45 and their blog as they are dedicated to scam busting, and put out regular posts on blogs to look out for that are scams. They have put in a lot of work into documenting what to look for when trying to identify whether someone is a scammer or not.

6 and 12 for Groose
GROOOOOOOOOOOSE
6. What's something you have in common with this character?
WE’RE BOTH ENGINEERS! Also we’re both a little silly but we show up when it matters~
(Okay a bit of a mean streak too 🤭)
12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?
Okay so bear with me.
I have a headcanon that post Skyward Sword, Groose decides to settle in the Lanayru desert for the purpose of studying the technology left behind there, to see if he can reverse engineer and develop new technology. While he is there he is visited by Din as an oracle, and after many shenanigans she reveals her status as a goddess and sees him as worthy of her blessing and thus, the Gerudo are born.
(Here I am promoting my Groose is Ganondorf’s ancestor propaganda)
Questions are here!

On the Rauru thing. Totally agree with you. It shouldn't matter if the writers put it in there intentionally, the fact that they wrote it, and presented it as such with no self-awareness or room for doubt in the narrative, should suggest to the audience that the writers have an implicit, unaddressed bias. "He's presented as wholly good while doing imperialist things" might, y'know, imply that the writers think there's no problem with said imperialist actions.
Anon, I know you mentioned that this was spoken about in the post itself, but I am also glad that you brought up this specific thing because, very oddly, the OP argued that "if Rauru comes off as imperialist to you, then it isn't because Rauru is bad actually, it is because the writers believe that a heavenly-ordained monarch who rules by divine right is a good thing". Which is fascinating! Because most people who argue that Rauru is an imperialist don't assign that sort of intentionality to the writers! We don't know what their intentions were, we only know that the end result has elements that do inevitably read as propaganda. I just found it so interesting that the OP was basically saying that the writers were deserving of critique for this viewpoint but that this viewpoint should not be used to cast Rauru in a more dubious light despite the writers *obviously* writing Rauru with this viewpoint. My thing is that if you have to twist yourself in knots like this to justify that Rauru can only be read as good then maybe that reading has problems and can be interpreted differently by people with a different lens, ya know?
#I mean tbh when I saw another post where they argued that tp has the weakest narrative of all loz games I checked out#like lmao weaker than totk? really?#bloothots

Fanfic end of year asks
3. favorite line/scene you wrote this year
UHHHHHHHH Probably Ganondorf petting a molduga and apologizing to it for his not-so ingenious plan that got a whole horde decimated? I hold dearly in my heart the headcanon that Ganondorf cares about his monsters a lot more than he cares about people and I think him petting a big monster is very adorable 🥺
19. any new fics to start next year Hmm, this one is not so easy to answer because I am a chronic one-shot writer. Even if I come up with an idea it will be confined to one scenario and one theme. That being said, I do have a lot of writing I have started and I intend to finish, so I can talk about the ones I intended to publish at some point. One is a part 3 of my short Ganondorf/Fierce Deity series that I started during Gantober, just to sort of round out the idea that the only reason the Fierce Deity entertains Ganondorf's shenanigans is because he is attracted to him. I have another that I started and I intend to finish, this one is Zelgan, Ganondorf is trans, and the theme is "what makes a true king". 24. favorite fic you read this year I started reading An Unlikely Alliance on ao3 and I love it! People rarely write with beast form Ganon in a narratively interesting way and this one has been so delightful~

Any opinions of Lucemon and Piedmon?
Ah, more opinions on classic digimon baddies huh? Sure. Sometimes it is a bit difficult to have any one opinion on any digimon, since their role and their subsequent behavior can vary greatly from medium to medium. That being said, I think for the two in question I do have some thoughts that are generally applicable.
I think Piedmon is fantastic as an antagonistic digimon. He has a very cruel and underhanded way of going about things, which fits his theme as I guess one would call an evil jester with many underhanded tricks? In Digimon Adventure he had a particular way of psychologically messing with the digidestined that was unlike the more brute force way his fellow dark masters went about things (I guess Puppetmon wasn't exactly brute forcing but still). I really enjoyed his depiction in Digimon Ghost Game which showed a slight noble side to him, where he did keep his word, but his tricks were quite cruel and psychologically damaging still. I liked that, in Digimon Survive, he sort of played more into his psychological game side where, depending on which ending you went for, he would succeed quite well. That being said, he never gave me the vibe of a endgame antagonist, the main big bad if you will, and I'm not really sure why to be honest. I still think he's a great digimon, and I do enjoy his mind games and his circus tricks that he uses to achieve them
Lucemon just straight up gives me the creeps and always will give me the creeps. There is just something inherently fascinating and unsettling that he is classified as an angel digimon, that he brought order and harmony to a chaotic digital world and became its ruler, and that his obsession with order and harmony, that he should have absolute power in order to keep peace, ended up corrupting him. Seeing this angelic, cherub-looking digimon gleefully torturing and annihilating his enemies is quite the sight. Crazy that Lucemon's capabilities were later inherited and split into the three archangels (Ophanimon, Seraphimon, and Cherubimon) and that Lucemon himself became the most powerful of the Seven Great Demon Lords and the representation of the sin of pride. Also, I really love how Lucemon's evolution line is a representation of his fall into darkness, from angelic, to literally being half angelic and half demonic as Lucemon falldown mode, to a beast who only wishes for annihilation of all existence and the carrier of all 7 great sins in Lucemon satan mode. Anyways Lucemon really for me is the endgame villain of a digimon that I love to see, and he tends to encompass that role in most places he appears in. Everyone should watch Frontier and get creeped out by Lucemon.

I think Link would struggle because he CAN'T send a love letter to the King of the Gerudo. That man knows POETRY. Link woukd either come off dumb or say something offensive by accident.
This is how Gan has wound up with a collection of really wonky, lovingly made horse models in a wide variety of materials.
He loves them.
But as the artist has either neglected or forgotton to sign the pieces, he has no idea WHO IS SENDING THE HORSES.
Task Failed Sucessfully.
The ultimate Ganlink trope: Finding every way possible to express interest in each other apart from just SAYING it because words are simultaneously un-heroic and un-kingly and then having their ever confounding methods fail miserably and this is how the fanfic is 10 chapters in and they haven't kissed yet and there is a 50/50 chance that one of them either hates the person or loves the person more than when we started.

Anyway, thoughts on Null, and thoughts on the triforce being renamed into a damn math joke for Echoes of Wisdom specifically
Ah of course. So Null. I feel like Null is what Nintendo was hoping to achieve with Ganondorf. Ganondorf is inherently evil and so the only thing he could possibly want when it comes to ruling Hyrule is to burn it to the ground. For some reason. (Does he want to be a king of nothing?) Anyways my personal opinion is that this doesn't work for Ganondorf because he is still a person, and a person has their own wishes and desires. Anyways, I think Null is a neat concept as an antagonist who has an inherent quality that makes them antagonistic. Null is an entity that is opposite of the goddesses; while the purpose of the goddesses is to create, Null's purpose is the exact opposite in that they are an entity of emptiness, of nothing. So does that make Null an evil being because of their nature? Not necessarily, but it is certainly hard for existence to exist when there is a force that constantly wants to swallow existence into nothing. I find it pretty neat that the rifts have been something Hyrule has had to contend with since its inception, where Null would be able to make their breakthroughs to satisfy their natural inclination to swallow anything that isn't void and Tri's kind would repair the rifts on behalf of the goddesses. There it felt like there was a balance between what the goddesses had created and what Null desired as an entity but then, when Echoes of Wisdom comes around, Null has clearly overextended their reach. It sort of feels like Zelda's mission is less about defeating evil and moreso about restoring balance to the nature of things in the world she lives in.
I don't like "Prime Energy". I understand that it's fun to think that the power that can regulate Null, the embodiment of absolute zero, is a force granted by the goddesses that is named "Prime Energy", a force that requires its user to be balanced in nature. For the goddesses to come down and grant your desire, must you harness the energy of prime as Null has harnessed the power of absolute zero? Is it called Prime Energy because it was first and foremost thought of as the last line of defense against absolute zero Null? These are all fine musings but that doesn't negate the fact that IT'S THE TRIFORCE. You can pry Triforce from my cold dead hands. (Also man when I read Prime Energy I just think of this)
I don't need Logan Paul and KSI in MY Zelda okay 😞

Balddorf doesn’t bother me because my au old manondorf is bald. His sight is not great in old age and so he choses to shave himself bald to make maintainence easier. He is fine with being pampered but the idea that he *needs* help with it due to his own weakness? Unacceptable.

(credit goes to @tartulhouse my rp partner who always draws my silly au Gan in such endearing ways)

This has been bugging me for a while but does the whole "Link and or Zelda remember every one of their past lives" have any basis in canon at all or did people just make that up for added drama/further reason to be mad at shippers?
I would say that the extent that it is taken to is completely fanon. Unless I am having goldfish brain, there isn't any LoZ game where Link or Zelda or Ganondorf even recall a past life, or past lives. The only reason Ganondorf "recalls a past life" is because for the most part he is still living the same life. FSA and arguably TotK are the Ganondorf iterations that are reincarnations and they most certainly have no recollection of what their previous iterations did.
The origins for this fanon theory I would say lie in a few things. In Skyward Sword, we learn that Zelda is Hylia reincarnated, and that Hylia is, in a way, propagating her will through Zelda in order to guide Link to where he needs to be in order to defeat Demise, to the point that she sort of orchestrated the relationship that Link and Zelda develop. Then you have Demise who uttered the words of infamy, that his curse will follow them throughout history, indicating that people like Link and Zelda will continue to arise in Hyrule, and when they do his "curse" will follow behind them. Then of course you have the entire story of the Triforce, the same three people that continue to receive either a piece of it and the entirety of it. Ganondorf's words in OoT "Let us put an end to that which binds us together!" really gives off the air of cursed soulmates if you wish to spin it that way. In Twilight Princess, you have Link learning his techniques from the Hero's Shade who has been confirmed to be his predecessor, the Hero of Time. You have Tetra in Wind Waker that is propagating the legacy left by her predecessor even though she is not exactly a princess. So on and so forth. From the previous examples, there is a sense of legacy that the three main characters sort of inherit from title to title. Whatever happens in the story they find themselves in, they end up stepping into the same roles. Fans then took this and ran with the idea of "what if the reason is because they remember what they did in past lives"? I personally don't like this approach because it adds a sense of inevitability to their character that they just have to play this role no matter what. I prefer when they find their feet due to their own personal circumstances because it adds agency to the character and gives them more motivation for the role they play in the story. And, if anyone knows me, I am all about character agency on this blog.

I headcanon that every Ganondorf should have rounded ears.
Anon, I completely agree with you. I like Ganondorf with rounded ears. I think he should always have rounded ears. I was actually very pleased to see that TotK Ganondorf has rounded ears. My overall opinion is that, if the lore is going to insist that pointed ears are some form of divine favor, then they should stick to it, because every time they address the inconsistency of pointed ears when it comes to Ganondorf and the Gerudo they end up coming up with The Worst Explanation. What is consistent, however, is that the favor that the Gerudo get is very conditional and very based on their willingness to subjugate themselves to Hyrulean rule and, while allowed to keep their rules, being somewhat tolerant of the Hyrulean men that think they have some right to harass them. Even then, their customs are viewed as weird and backwards and subject to violation by Hyrule when deemed appropriate (like Link sneaking in when he knows he shouldn't because tee hee so cute and troll-y of him instead of asking for an audience with Riju). The Gerudo are the people that are least loved by the divine hierarchy of Hyrule so I say let Ganondorf have his rounded ears and continue to throw down their doors and send their people scattering as a true force and representation of opposition. I applaud it.
