so incredibly based of the bones writers to make Brennan autistic as fuck then have every man who meets her attracted as hell to her AND they dont stop being attracted to her when she does her autism thing, in fact most of the time it makes them more attracted to her.

shes blunt, overly serious, she thinks literally and is extremely competent in her field and the men on this show go "wow that was hot"

i lied, put your clothes back on, we’re actually going to talk about how brennan and hodgins are best friends and how they’re one of the most underrated pairings in the show despite being buried alive together, and hodgins being brennan’s counterpart in every au the show has done and them knowing each other from the main cast the longest and enjoying little pieces of each other that the others think are odd

Random things I love about the show Bones:

- all the times they take stuff from the museum to use in the investigation ("I got this from the x exhibit")

- Brennan following some birds, bugs etc and finding a body ("Booth, you might want to see this")

- "Bones, stay behind me!" Brennan immediately wanders off

- the banter between Booth and Caroline Julian

- how well TJ Thyne plays exhausted Hodgins

- how immaculate Cam's outfits are (and how they are ruined by Hodgins and co's experiments)

- the guitar riffs that play every time Angela's dad is on screen

In the Bones universe can you imagine Brennens Wikipedia page? Her dad was on trial for murder, who mother was murdered, she’s a bestselling author who was buried alive, she works with and now has a relationship with a FBI agent who inspires her bestselling novels plural that got turned into a movie where there was a real dead body on the set when she just so happened to be there right before she was framed for murder and went on the run.

The first sentence of her Wikipedia page during this time must’ve been wild:

“Temperance Brennen is a best selling novelist, forensic anthropologist, person of interest in a criminal investigation, and current fugitive”

I think hands down the funniest side story line in Bones is Vincent winning jeopardy, blowing his winnings on blow, then coming back like nothing happened

the levels of yearning that were displayed in bones has never been done by a straight couple to that extent since. the tension they radiated every episode was unmatched. still thinking about them years later.

I think Bones is the only show where i ship all of the canon straight ships and i think its because all the men are pathetically in love with their wives. they all become incredibly useless without their respective women and i really appreciate that in a man.

out of all the squints, squinterns, and fbi, hodgins is definitely the best at giving gifts. he puts so much love and effort into all of his gifts that we’ve seen on the show. mostly for angela, her perfume, the mold arts he makes for her, the tickets to paris, the houses, but also with the others. When Zack was first admitted, he took math problems to him and current cases because he knew that would make Zack feel a little normal. When Brennan went to Indonesia and he made the little flip book for her with all the plants and bugs she could encounter and the safety levels. He’s definitely the person that puts so much time and effort into gifts and everyone looks forward to anything from him

and not to forget the pocket kama sutra he got Zack so he’d stop asking Booth sex questions 😂
