If there’s one character in Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula as fascinating as the arch vampire himself, it’s R.M. Renfield the zoophagous patient in Dr. Seward’s mental hospital, who has fallen under the vampire’s spell. But Stoker provides no explanation of how Renfield came to be imprisoned, nor of the origins of his strange relationship with his Master.

Marty Ross’s audio drama imagines a whole back story for the character – the story of a tragically ordinary Victorian shopkeeper, stuck looking after ageing parents and prone to a furtive fascination with blood.

Desperate for relief, he goes for a holiday in Whitby, on the Yorkshire Coast, where he experiences premonitions of a vast supernatural power approaching across the sea, a force that will bring meaning to his life, but only of the most terrible sort.

Harry Myers

Harry won the Carleton Hobbs Bursary award in 1998 and has twice been in the BBC Radio Drama Company. Since then he has appeared in hundreds of radio plays & serials for the BBC, including Home Front; and The Archers; and for Big Finish, including playing Adrian Wall in the Bernice Summerfield adventures; & multiple characters in various Dr Who titles.

More recently, Harry has worked on many productions for Audible including the Sam Mendes Dickens Trilogy; The Sandman; and 1984. Notable video game appearances include: Darktide; A Plague Tale: Requiem; Baldur’s Gate 3;World of Warcraft. Harry has narrated numerous audiobooks and voices several trailers & commercials. He has also worked extensively in theatre, TV and film, although these days his main focus is his voice work.

Sarah Whitehouse

Sarah trained at the Birmingham Conservatoire graduating with 1st Class Honours. Notable work includes feature films Lapwing and Future Soldier and performance capture and voices for video game ‘Norse’ to be released on Xbox and PlayStation in 2026. Sarah has worked extensively in audio drama including Sam Mendes’ Dickens trilogy for Amazon Audible, all adapted by Marty Ross: Oliver Twist starring Daniel Kaluuya and Brian Cox, David Copperfield, starring Ncuti Gatwa and Helena Bonham Carter and Bleak House starring Ambika Mod, Miriam Margolyes and Thandiwe Newton.

Other projects with Audible include: 1984, The Sandman Acts III/IV and V, Halfway, Crush Hour, We Play Games, Billionaire for Sale and Jeff Wayne’s War of The Worlds. Sarah has just recorded her first Doctor Who story with Big Finish productions and The Rebel Moon audio series for Netflix/Wolf at the Door.

1. how big is your mods folder?

Already answered!  But it’s like 30GB and growing.  No one can help me.

3. what is your favorite challenge?

Ooh, good question.  Evidence would suggest it’s the BPR, though the only challenge I’ve ever actually completed was a not-so-berry.  I actually think my favourite challenge is the Seven Songs challenge.  I like challenges with a heavy relationship component.

14. who is your current favorite sim?

Bram, Evening, and Morning are my favourites right now.  This is entirely because they’re the most fun, and easiest for me to write.  

18. how many of the packs do you own?

Most of them.  I don’t own Batuu, Luxury Party Stuff, Knitting, the my first pet pack, or the moschino stuff.  I also don’t own any of the kits.  I’ll buy a pack almost no matter what if it has a new world in it.  I also don’t use a ton of build/buy cc so I’m more likely to buy a pack if I like the aesthetic even if the gameplay doesn’t super appeal to me (like eco living).  

Personally, the ones I really like having in my game are Seasons, Parenthood, RoM, Paranormal, Moving Hangout, Pets, Get Together, University, Jungle Adventure, Snowy Escape, Laundry Day and Outdoor Retreat.

lil modding update, Tilda's outfit is slowly coming along, I'm struggling a bit with the textures with how the way the original mesh is built, I'm either going to have to build a lot of it in as decals, or I'm gonna have to split the outfit up in the weirdest equipment slots. weight-painting is, as per usual, a pain in my ass but I'm a honestly just going to solve that by hiding most of the body-parts once all the items are in place. not to mention the original outfit has so many animated textures and I have NO idea how to make that work

finally made some progress with my modding adventures! figured it would be best to start with some static props that are purely decorative, than clothing, and i had a bunch of props from dishonored laying on my SSD so here we go! still need to experiment with the textures to make the metal and leather shine the way i want it to, but for now I'm just happy shit is showing up in game!

currently still working on the Dishonored pack, there is always more stuff i can add so it's deff one of those never ending projects lmao

I also got my hands on Tilda van der Meer's outfit from Horizon Forbidden west, so I'm currently working on a port for that

got it all modeled to the vanilla body, now I just need to yeet it into the game and make it work, gonna try to utilize the MLsetup with this one for more texture variations, which might take me a moment.

I'm also working on porting some lingerie and shoes, which will probably remain private mods for a while

as you can see there are SO many things i wanna do, I just gotta get the time for them XD

I'm also hoping on making some hair modifications so that I can bring my old OC into Cyberpunk

she's my old fallout 4 character, figured she'd suit the nomad life pretty well (she does have the trailer cigarette mom look). my goal is to either make or find a body that suits her build a bit more and give her some graying stripes in her hair, mainly her big stripe. I'll probably examine Alena's hair, and see how that's put together.
