It could be because of the rebranding as well due to the name change, but to see how the IG page of Z-Millenial changed over night is quite sad. Especially given the made up controversies and lies spread lately by the usual suspects. It all feels so powerless too. I mean, urging people to block tkkers, jjks and kths, but nothing changes. Nothing ever does. That entire fandom is so toxic that it needs to destroyed completely as a structure before anything decent can come out of it ever again. And even then, I don't think it would be possible.

Jimin's dad should be able to celebrate his son all he wants and however he wants. Karma will get them though. It always does. No one can be so vile without ever facing any consequences in some way.

I’d like to remind anybody walking into my inbox that it’s 2024. It’s a whole new year y’all. The birds are chirping, the planet is dying, and the economy is in shambles.

Oh, and BTS re-signed with BigHit, early, again, with all the members currently enlisted to return by 2025. Like they said they would, way back in 2022.

Anybody still struggling to process the reality of how Billboard manages the advancement of BTS in the Western music scene, anybody who still doesn’t understand the reality that is BTS wanting to be OT7 and always choosing the group above all else, anybody who still doesn’t know basic things like how to put an English sentence into a translator to get an output in a language that’s perhaps easier for them to parse…

Anybody who still can’t get any of these things, in 2024, really ought to think twice before visiting my inbox. Because it’s a new year, and my patience for explaining the basics has expired. A lot of you are now well past being baby ARMYs. Whatever narratives you’ve adopted by this point are reflective of your logical aptitude and no matter how many times the basics are explained, you won’t get it. There’s nothing to be done for it and so I won’t waste my time.

I suggest you not waste yours either, so you’re probably better off self-sorting into the fandom buckets that cater to the kinds of talking points you like to see.

I’m saying this because some of you might not know why your asks are being ignored, and well, if you’re still struggling with those three points mentioned above, then you likely won’t get a response from me. He doesn't hold jimin when he cries, he doesn't spam us with Jimin content when Jimin has a comeback, he doesn't cook Jimin’s favourite food for him, or fold his underpants while he does his own laundry.

He doesn't take him on trips to Japan, or send thirst-trap messages for his birthday, or play his songs, or sing on his albums.

He doesn't carry him, bridal style, any time Jimin jumps into his arms, and I can guarantee you that he doesn't let Jimin fuck him just the way Jimin likes it, as often as he wants it, wherever and whenever he gets the chance. And vice versa.

They didn't enlist in the military as companions, after all.

revali is either a complete anti who openly mocks and says shitty stuff about kpop idols and runs blockchains on stan accounts, or he gets extremely defensive and aggressive because you didn’t like his nugu girl group’s comeback song because come on this is musical genius what do you mean it sounds like construction noises!!! he spams fancams of his bias and runs a protect/shooter account for his ult group. revali is definitely at risk for being a solo stan, though, he's got a couple of strong opinions about certain idols in certain groups...

I think some people didn’t want to translate it fully because it mentioned Jungkook was hurt and unable to participate in the run. K-jjks were in the qrts calling OP a liar, saying “negative news” about JK always comes from “that side” aka Jimin stans. It would have been 10x worse had it been translated with international solos going at each others throats too. It’s an absolute shame how we can’t hear about/from them without these people constantly ruining it by dragging one/both of them and accusing people of setting them up. They’d rather hear nothing at all and stew in their own imagination than accept reality.

I understand this as well, but it's so absurd. Trying to omit or hide information won't make it go away or cease to exist something that already happened. Also, all it said was that Jungkook couldn't run because he was hurt. That's it. It doesn't have to mean a lot more or a lot less and certainly there's no need for this to create conflict. Ahh, stans can be so stupid. And this is going to happen for the next 17 months. Every day I choose to still keep up with this I torture myself voluntarily.

You sent me this ask after the other Anon’s confessional, so even though I’d normally not answer this sort of ask anymore, (I think I’ve said everything I can possibly say about this), because of the context in which you sent it I’ll try to explain what I think as briefly as possible.

As much as you say you want to be OT7, I think you really should just accept what you are. Because, if in the middle of all this - Jin’s birthday, BTS Monuments release, Jimin’s documentary behind released, Indigo anni, as well as chatter that Minimoni will be releasing music in the near-term, and finally, news that Jungkook chose to enlist with Jimin - if in the middle of all this, all you can see is remixes for Jungkook, you’re taking offence on Jimin’s behalf and choosing to not support the group as a result, then there’s nothing to be done here. This conversation is dead in the water. I honestly think you should accept that you’re a solo stan and self-sort.

Also, you know you don’t have to be an ARMY, right? Like, there’s other things you can be while still keeping up with BTS without being an ARMY. An ARMY is someone who is a fan of BTS, meaning, they actually like and support BTS. This has nothing to do with Korea, with the company, with solos, with feminism, Zionism, minority rights, or anything at all. It’s very simple. If you find you do not in fact like and support BTS for whatever reason, then you’re not an ARMY. Keep in mind you can disagree with BTS while still liking and supporting them aka being a fan. Obviously. But I think the very simple definition of what a fan is gets lost in these conversations. So Anon, if you learn you don’t actually like BTS - the seven of them come as a package deal - then it’s very okay to be honest about that and leave the fandom.

All that said, I understand if people find the number of remixes Jungkook has gotten annoying. Lol. Pretty sure he’s gotten over 50 remixes already, which sounds like an obscene amount even when you know artists like Taylor Swift have roughly a hundred remixes released and Selena Gomez is chilling with 78 remixes on Spotify. But it also kinda baffles me why people are surprised (or at least not expecting) that the first main project under HYBE America is being treated like an American release. I understand that for a lot of solos, the issue is that they want other members’ projects to get more remixes too, and more of the same tools as HA’s… It’s fine to want it, just don’t be surprised if BTS doesn’t meet that expectation. It’s a bit bonkers if you start hating them for it too.

Personally, I think the simplest, most basic cause of this identity crisis epidemic causing the fandom to implode, is that many people started calling themselves fans of BTS before they understood the kind of group BTS is. If you’re fretting because your non-online armys or a k-pop stan told you BTS is now ‘Jungkook-and-the-six’, because he’s gotten a fuck ton of remixes and an English album and the fandom supports him regardless, then I don’t think you understand what kind of group BTS is. Not to be rude.

Also, your non-online ARMY friends are saying something that k-pop stans have been saying for a while. I’ve seen k-pop stans call BTS ‘xyz and the rest’ since like 2016, where xyz is all three maknae line members rotated depending on the era. I was okay with it then because it didn’t reflect reality, and I’m okay with it now because it again doesn’t reflect what I think of the group. And even if it did I’d be okay with it because I trust all seven adult men in BTS to handle their business.

So, honestly and with no malice or anger in my heart, Anon I think you should do what you were going to do anyway. If the support Jungkook is getting at this time bothers you so much you can’t see anything else, or that what you see does nothing to qualify any of this for you, then I really do think you’re not an ARMY and it’s fine to accept it. There’s no point forcing being OT7 lol, that’s how we end up with the clusterfuck that’s been chapter 2.

The attacks against Jungkook as an artist and as a person by Solos have gone too far.

What is currently happening in the fandom is what I feared would happen once jungkook officially debuted as a solo artist, I thought I was overreacting but I realised I was underreacting. It scares me to think what will happen when he finally releases his album.

I understand many people's annoyance with how the agency and the company have handled the members' solo debut. I understand the frustration and anger, but what I will never understand is the hatred they are throwing at the members directly. In this case Jungkook.

I have received Asks for a few days now accusing Jungkook of selling his soul, of using payola to be number one everywhere. I have received Asks accusing him of being selfish, envious, a nepo baby. Ignorance will always be bold, right? But if it's the artist's fault, then Jimin is to blame for everything he was accused of during his album promotions and how he got X benefits and Hobi didn't, for example? So RM is to blame for having so much hype and content for his album? So Hobi is to blame that his debut was at a major festival and everyone else's wasn't? So Yoongi is to blame that Jimin's album promotions only lasted for 1 month? If we're going to apportion blame then let's be fair, shall we? Or they don't like it that way. The problem is Jungkook.

The problem has always been Jungkook, let's not lie to ourselves. He has always been accused of being the favourite, the one with the most lines in the songs, the one who always takes the lead in everything, thus demonstrating their ignorance or lack of understanding of how the group dynamics work and what position everyone plays within the group. Ignoring all these complaints what the members themselves have said about Jungkook's role within the group. But it is also true that these people don't care what their supposed favourites say, they obviously know more than they do and, moreover, they know that they say these things because the agency forces them to and they don't care that about these they are reducing their favourites to mere puppets who don't know how to defend themselves and who don't know what they want, let alone what they deserve. For all this, is why I blame the Solos, in case it is not clear.

Back to the present time. Jungkook's song is being pushed on the radio, he hasn't had much trouble with playlisting or even YouTube views so it obviously means they are paying for all that to happen and therefore it's all his fault. Jungkook does have control of absolutely everything that happens in his project, but the other members had no control over things that other fans claimed their favourites didn't have. Double standards will always reign in this fandom.

The problem is also Scooter. I think we all hate Scooter, on that one we can all agree, but because scooter is actively involved in Jungkook's debut it means there has been fraud. It means that Jungkook from bts, one of the most famous idols in the world, the one who generates the most views on his Wlives, the one who makes almost everything he wears immediately sell out agreed to pendejo Scooter using payola to push his song because Jungkook was afraid he wouldn't do so well. The dozens of records he breaks and sets every time he releases something were not enough to assure him that he would do well with just the support of his fans. He needed help. That sounds about right, doesn't it? That makes total sense.

Common Sense is not a strong suit of Solos as far as I can see.

You can be upset that your favourite artist didn't get X benefits or help from the agency, and you can be upset that X member obviously suffered sabotage that his agency didn't seem to do anything about. You can get upset because for months you have been asking for X thing for your artist and nothing happens, but learn who you have to direct that annoyance to, it's not the artist, it's the agency. I don't doubt for a moment that the members are involved in many or almost all things concerning their debuts, Yoongi confirmed if I remember correctly but things about promotions of what is or isn't sent to radio, how playlists are handled on Spotify etc., I don't think they have any involvement in that. That's their agency's job, their company's job ergo they are the ones to blame, not the artist.

The sad part of all this is the insinuation that one of the members actively wanted to harm another. That there is envy or competition between them. I firmly believe that there is room for everyone in the industry because as solo artists their artistry is different.

I can be open to having these kinds of discussions on my blog as long as they are respectful, as long as your anger, your annoyance is directed at the right people. I will never allow insults towards one of the members, let alone Jungkook and Jimin. My blog is about the two of them so it is extremely presumptuous of you to think that I would allow my blog to be used to insult one of them. Any of the members really. Know your line and respect mine.

To give context before I hear people crying the same way they already are on twitter.

This is NOT as re-comeback. It's a project organized by Jimin fanbases aimed at BBMA & MAMA awards whose tracking ends in October. Jimin has a great chance at winning these awards, but we need to boost both sales AND streams in order to achieve this, there's also the on-going voting polls.

Anyone can join, and more details will be given tomorrow on how we will operate.
