It still felt like such a relief to be back in Charming. While her stint at rehab gave her some time to get her mind clear, there was no place like home. She missed being on stage. Nikki also missed the line she’d do right before a performance, but she was moving beyond that now. It all still felt familiar. Like here she was sitting at the bar after her shift, but instead of smoking she had a drink in her hand. Baby steps. It wasn’t just home she missed in rehab, but her friends. One of which had just taken a seat next to her. Dominic had been a fixture in her life since she was a kid. They’d grown older and evolved, but the friendship they had always remained.  “Okay, I think it’s time we address the elephant in the room...” She took a deep breath, giving herself a moment as she turned to face him. “Was going blonde and chopping my hair too much? It’s okay. You can be honest with me. I can take it.”
