Do your studious sims need a place to pin their research while they write? Or maybe they need a murder board to help them solve crimes? Then this corkboard mounted on an easel might be for them!
There are a variety of slots on this; 15 postcard slots, 4 ctnm wall slots, 25 small deco, 4 medium deco, and 1 large deco.
This provides a good deal of versatility as to what can be placed, though obviously clipping may happen. You can see above that I've placed a wall deco (Posters from @anachrosims 18th century campaign set) and then layered in postcards I made with other deco from @aroundthesims and @irinaseverinka.
Of course you can also have some odder attachments.
Base game compatible. Comes in 3 swatches.
Download from SimFileShare here.
Made with S4S.

Photo

My first upload to the conclave for tonight, an image of me, Genpai and Jay as the Crystal Gems from Steven Universe. I couldn't find anyone for Amethyst. I did not do so well on Garnet and Pearl, so I probably won't be uploading a better-quality version of this.

Give your historical sims some elegant furnishings with Cashcraft's Vanity Fair set!
All of these items were originally created by the amazing Cashcraft over at The Sims Resource. @hauntedpuppychild requested I convert this set (and another, coming soon) from The Sims 3 to The Sims 4 and I obliged. It was a challenge at times, but I learned some new things doing it (transferring weights, for one).
Base Game Compatible. All colored items come in four colors; blue, red, purple, and green.
WARNING: THESE ARE ALL HIGH POLY ITEMS!
Although I converted both the "high" and "low" LODs, even the low LODs are high. The highest is the bed at over 5k and all of them are over 1.5k in the high LODs. I turned the "loveseat/bench" into an ottoman to reduce the poly count, but it's still high.

Happy Simblreen!
Are your child sims excited for Spooky Day but not ready for gore? Or are they Supernaturals in need of some appropriate kid-friendly deco? Then look no further than the Beary Halloween Hanging.
This is the first idea I had for a Simblreen gift, after I saw some cute felt hangings in a store closer to the end of September. It made me think of sticking the sims 3 spooky bears up to hang, so I did.
Rightfully I probably should have done this in a way like the other hangings, where they're flat, rather than what I did, which was literally to import the meshes of the teddies and resize them. On the one hand, as I did it, they're flattened enough to approach the wall but you still get a 3D effect. On the other hand, it means they've got a higher poly count than similar deco pieces. Not game shatteringly high, but higher.
Requires Free Holiday pack. Comes in one swatch.

Vintage Posters are here!
I have an Edwardian build I've been working on recently, with live-in servants in the attic. I wanted them to have something to look at besides bare walls and I figured some old advertisements might be appropriate.
As such, I've trolled through old posters to make two packages, one with posters from 1890-1899 and the other with posters from 1900-1909. Some of these are travel-related, others are advertisements for products, and there's even a poster for the Yiddish theater.
I've priced these at 10 simoleons so that they're affordable for vintage sims, but for modern sims, a more realistic price is 1k, or even 2k, as some original posters cost $2000 if you want your own piece of advertising history.
Base Game Compatible.

Need an updated Medieval toilet option?
It's really not what I should have been working on, but after spotting it once more in my post-patch list of things that were out of date, I decided to update this Medieval Toilet. It's (apparently) originally from Tarox but has lived in my game for years thanks to @motherof70's conversion back in 2015.
Unfortunately, it suffered the same levitating sims issue that my other historical facilities acquired, so it needed a tuning update. I cloned a base game off the grid toilet and created a new custom tuning for it and then endeavored to strip it to match the original characteristics: no flushing, no handwashing, no upgrades, and no pregnancy test. It technically does have geostates, but they're all the same mesh so there's no functional difference.
Although I originally meant to simply edit the tuning, I thought that perhaps I'd make some more sims 4-matching recolors which meant I needed to look at the mesh to get the uv layout and then when I looked at the mesh I realized it was needlessly complicated so I ended up editing the mesh to remove unnecessary vertices. And then I redid the uv entirely because it overlapped in ways that made doing what I wanted difficult. So this has neither the original mesh, nor the original texture, but instead twelve new swatches with a wood top and cobbled stone base. There are also three deco slots on the back.
Base Game Compatible. Comes in 12 swatches.

Simfileshare finally works again, which means I can post new things!
Forgive me the dim lighting, won't you?
"The Sun Kiss" is a prime example of Willard Leroy Metcalf's Impressionist landscapes. Metcalf was an American impressionist who studied in France and spent some time at Giverny, at the artist colony there. Many of his paintings depict New England, including this one, believed to be set in Connecticut or Maine.
This is a recolor/resizing of the base game cosmolux canvas, altered to be four tiles wide.

"Caput Draconis!"
The Fat Lady has guarded the Gryffindor Common Room for centuries, letting students into their home-away-from-home... if they have the password, of course!
This is the project that got me into making cc in the first place. At the end of 2020 I was building my own version of Hogwarts. I had far fewer packs and I was searching out Harry Potter-related cc to incorporate. I finally reached the Gryffindor Common Room and of course needed The Fat Lady's portrait as the entrance. Except I couldn't find one. Although I'd had one for TS3, I couldn't find an acceptable one for TS4. So I tried learning how to convert objects. I had no idea how to use blender, my texture modifier was Paint and I was teaching myself how to use TSR Workshop and Sims4Studio as I went along.
Needless to say, I failed spectacularly. The doors just didn't work. I had no idea what I was doing. I managed to follow all the steps for converting... except I was basing it on a tutorial for a deco object. Guess what doesn't get covered in such a tutorial? Weights. I ended up giving up on the door conversion, sticking the fat lady onto a base game door's texture and settling for that. Then I made paintings. Because those were doable, and moved on from there.
I actually came back to this project last May and tried again. With a few more years of experience and reading the forums I had a better idea of how to use everything and I knew weights were a thing, so I tried modifying those. I actually, somehow, made a door that functioned as a portal, except sims just stepped through the painting, at least in some cases. It failed but not as bad.
So now, nine months later, having worked with weights on several projects now (converting the Cashcraft beds most recently, as well as the various earrings from last Simblreen), I figured it was time to try again. And it worked! I got everything weight painted correctly, I actually cut up the painting mesh so it could move and now I have a proper door. The only issue is that it's a little small... but that's for a subsequent project. There is also a little bit of gapping at certain angles between the painting and the door on the reverse, but it shouldn't be too noticeable. I'm so glad I can move this from WIPs to my Completed Projects folder!
The Fat Lady is Base Game Compatible and comes in nine swatches so you have options for the reverse door (which is based on the base game six-paneled door).
I used the same base painting mesh that I adapted from @thejim07.

EA, for reasons surpassing comprehension, didn't include a corner piece for their Book Nook Kit. Because why would you ever need to seamlessly connect one wall's bookcases to the other wall?
To make up for their oversight, I've created two corner options, one with books and one as a display shelf. Both fit into corners and both can stack atop each other.
I've wanted this about a year now, ever since I first got the kit. I actually started a version of it back then, but the mesh fought me and so I lost patience and stuck it in a WIPs folder. I started again from scratch recently and it was far more cooperative. Plus I learned about marking things sharp!
Requires the Book Nook Kit. Each option comes in 5 color varieties to match the different woods.

Warning: Like placing the rest of the Genremax shelves, placing these can be a little finicky. They will eventually slot nicely together, it just might take a little frustration first.

Cashcraft's Kentworth Bedroom set is the second set which @hauntedpuppychild requested I convert. It was originally made for TS3 by the wonderful Cashcraft. Personally, I like this set better. I'm particularly fond of the lamp.
The Hope Chest functions as a base game storage chest. It, the dresser, and the nightstand all have a variety of deco slots.
WARNING: THESE ITEMS ARE HIGH POLY!
They're not as bad as the bed from the Vanity Fair set from last week, but they're all between 3.5 and 1.6k at their High LODS (they do have Med LODs, but they're not low).
Base Game Compatible. There are ten swatches for the bed and nine for the table lamp; there are three swatches for each wood-dominant item.

Updated! Again!
Awhile back, @amethystamanda flagged an issue with the tunings, and while I figured out a fix, I noticed another issue that cropped up where sims levitated as they approached the object. I still don't know why they were doing that (or if that happened to anyone else), but I believe I've sorted both issues out now. Both close stools should work off the grid, be live draggable, and placeable in sims inventories.
Redownload The Naughtical Necessary here and The Captain's Commode here and delete the old ones from your Mods folder.
Let me know if you have any lingering issues, or if any crop up in the future!

Who doesn't love a bed with stained glass covering it? These ten recolors of Selene's Sanctuary Bed give several extra swatch options if you like the bed but it doesn't have enough options for you. Other than the dark blue above, the others behoove a paler bedroom, with purple, green and pink-blue palettes.
These are actually a redo of a very early project of mine, from before I even had GIMP. I was trying to end things in Paint 3D. It worked... mostly... but it's long bugged me for being a little sloppy around the ties. So I fixed and expanded it beyond the original two blue and pink swatches.
