#ANtics#wip tag NOW#Something New#obligatory 'i am still alive' post once again#there's something about this that's contradictory... not that yn knows. the bartender certainly didn't tell them#chapter progress is actually speeding along pretty well now i've kind of like. been experimenting with different ways of writing things-#out to avoid any BIG blocks/hangups and it's actually working out pretty well!#advice to other new writers out there: if you're having trouble getting conversations from fic outlines then you need to start outlining-#the conversations too. get more granular. my conversation bullets used to be “x and y character talk about z” then when it came down to it-#i'd always get stuck on it bc there's so little elaboration in the outline. so elaborate more!
