Yeah... my drive to draw RWBY again is back in full swing after getting the news of Rooster Teeth closing down (though I'm a bit relieved that today at least we got word that progress is still being made towards Volume 10, hoping for the best)

Anyway, this was something I planned for pride month last year where I wanted to do a big ass collage of several of my favorite gay RWBY ships but I gave up after these six.

I really want more between Weiss and Blake and I don’t mean love. They’re mirrors of each other. Black and white. Princesses from two different worlds. Both abuse survivors. One from a massive but divided family and the other from a small, tightly knit family. One rejected from the world. The other rejected from her family. Of course both aren’t entirely the case but that’s how they view it.

YES me too oh my god. i feel like the conversation weiss has with yang in v5 about blake leaving was OF COURSE a great bees moment and an amazing freezerbros moment but i feel like it was also such. SUCH. a phenomenal monochrome moment b/c it showed how weiss understood exactly what was going on in blake’s mind at the time. she connected with blake’s grief and her avoidant coping mechanisms and completely laid out to yang why blake might have felt the need to leave. god i love them so much
