I just keep thinking about how hard Lumon is going in on Dylan right now. Secret bribes and meetings with his family, aggressively rewarding his compliance with crumbs of the freedom he craves. Alienating him from the people he cares about the most.

Its so notable to me that in the propaganda claymation, they refuse to acknowledge Dylans heroics in any way, shape, or form. Sure, there are little posters trivilaizing the way he held the OCP switches, but in the film? He is this bumbling comedic relief background thought. They are just really aggressively trying to affirm to him that he is *not* important. This is because he *is* arguably the most important (IN MY OPINION).

I think what makes Dylan such a threat to Lumon is his conviction mixed with his self sacrifice. Plenty of people can really *want* a change to happen, but without someone like Dylan who is willing to put himself at risk with no reward (not see his family and trigger the OCP so everyone else has a chance FIRST) then nothing can happen!!! He is an essential catalyst for revolution!!

So angst idea based off this post.

(Aka old man Dark Choco coming back and his father hasn’t age a day)

So the idea is that, what if children of Ancients, like Dark Choco and Royalberry are immortal like their parents.

However while an Ancient’s body and mind are made to survive being alive forever. Their children aren’t so lucky specially their minds.

As years pass and their dough doesn’t age, their mind loses spaces, they can’t remember everything so it slowly begins to rewrite over stuff. Royalberry who knows he lost his wife but can’t remember her voice; that he only knows what she looks like through the royal portrait, as she slowly gets older and he stays the same.

Dark Choco who goes out in the snow to live alone, eventually with no one around he forgets where he came from, his own name. He doesn’t go back to the citadel by choice, but mainly cause he was confused and lost. He doesn’t remember this man so why is his calling him ‘his son’.

Every time i watch that show i am frothing at the mouth about the cinematography. That's probably why I'm so drawn to do screenshot redraws!! This show just really has its aesthetics down to a T.

I went into House MD looking for some silly TV but have found it to be some of the best creative brain food I've come across (it is also still incredibly silly TV).

i admire the house md fans who the show inspired to become medical professionals. Like. You're dedicating the rest of your life to studying possibly the hardest academic subjects known to mankind, due to the impact of something that shaped your outlook on life and your values, causing you to choose a path that you know will help others.

Meanwhile I am here as a useless actor-wannabe, drooling over how well Hugh Laurie plays House, not understanding a single word anyone says.

correct me if i’m wrong but one of the things about dark cacao and dark choco’s situation that i find so interesting is that dark cacao didn’t question a single thing. his son gets a sword, destroys his own kingdom, attempted to kill him twice, joined an evil organization and not ONCE did he question why.

why would my own son attack me? why would he destroy something he loves so much? it speaks volumes about how emotionally absent he was that choco’s personality changed so drastically and he didn’t even notice.

Yknow what i love about House MD? Like truly love?

Its all about the good, bad, and ugly of human nature. Like, no character is without their flaws, like any regular person!!

I feel like ,especially nowadays, people are really fixated on being a ‘good person’. But House MD really makes you ask: What is a good person?

Someone who saves your life? Someone who honors your wishes? Someone who is kind to you? Someone who is honest with you? All of these things tend to contradict each other and blur. Characters often prove themselves hypocrites or selfish in the pursuit of their ideals.

Every character has been ‘wrong’ in their own ways in their own situations. Not because theyre evil, but because they are a messy, complicated, and normal-ass human people.

And i love that. Characters i hate to love and love to hate.

This is why i really cant bring myself to hate any character in that show hahaha. Like yeah sure, they did [insert some unforgivable situation] which they were totally wrong to do, but like, everyone fucks up. I fuck up. You fuck up. Just makes them more human and compelling in my eyes.
