Christian Republicans sure do like to treat the world like they're evolutionists, don't they. "Climate change is a hoax because Earth has gone through periods of being on fire before!" And? Are we not meant to be good stewards while we are here? Is your plan to just skate along until the Rapture, uncaring of how many people get hurt in the meantime? Show me in the Bible where we're supposed to do that. We're supposed to care so much that it shows to the unbelieving, that people want to turn to God because our lives are filled with joy and hope. "They will know we are Christians by our love, because God is love."

Some vocal "Christian" republican conservatives: it's okay that the world is burning every summer because the polar ice caps haven't melted which means climate change isn't real, so I can ignore the danger this presents to peoples' homes and livelihoods

This isn't "small temperature change over time," this is a rapid shift i have observed in my own lifetime, within the last 15 years alone.

And even if it was? We're called to be a light and to help others and you want to just do nothing? You don't even want to investigate the causes of these fires and why they get worse every year and why we have such awful cold snaps almost every winter? People are dying because of this weather. And because it's politically inconvenient to agree with climate change, you're just ignoring that???
