IMPALA LOVE - Crack in the Chassis Fic and Art

This is the fic/art post for "team" 2 of the @crack-in-the-chassis event, long story short, I arted my own fic.

It took many attempts and much patient and incredibly kind, encouraging support from @midnightsilver to get there.

Fair warning the story is PWP and very cracky in-line with the theme of the event and NSFW 🔞.

Pairing: Sampala/Dean Winchester

Summary:

Sam wakes up as the Impala with very limited visual capability within the cab, Rowena is called in to help and while she can't undo what presumably is another prank of a certain archangel, she can give Sam more control and ability to see beyond the cab of the car and manipulate objects within the car and cab. Delightful PWP ensues because objects include bondage rope and by extension a very willing brother ready to give himself over to Sam. Enjoy a humor-filled, mutually satisfactory exploration that leads to an explosive climax in the bunker garage, all safe, sane and consensual though extremely cracky.

So I usually say that my first ship was J/C but really it was my first ship where I was involved with the fandom. My real first ship was Caroline and Richard from Caroline in the City. The show ended in a cliff hanger and it broke my little 16-year-old heart. I found it on YouTube and I'm about midway through season 3. I gotta say Julia was really chill about Caroline and Richard's friendship for a shockingly long time. She didn't tell Caroline to "keep her hands off her husband" until she found them literally kissing (under the mistletoe) and didn't really start trying to come between them until after she found him in her apartment in the middle of the night hugging her wrapped in only a towel LMAO. And keep in mind that she knew from the beginning that Caroline is in love with Richard.

i feel like finding out their life is all fiction would break most characters

CitC: Bennett would flip flop between wanting behind the scenes information and wanting to learn things on his own. part of the fun of the forest is in the gradual discovery and understanding. he’d at least want to know how to best keep people safe or ask for the author to reduce dangers. Shay would be enraged that all the suffering in the universe was consciously chosen by a higher power. Jared would try to mediate in saying stories need conflict but asking the author for some changes.

LW WIP: Amber is a new character who would have very different responses at the beginning and at the end of her story. beginning!Amber wouldn’t be that phased. she’s already a tool to be used, so why feel differently if it’s by her country or by an author? end!Amber is a mess. she wants more kindness for herself and has a newfound compassion for every living creature. she’d definitely have an angry and sad breakdown about how so many people were consciously placed into horrendous situations. she’d want things undone and made to be just in the new version of the world

Hey !! I’ve finally got some free time from school and re read CITC, was wondering if you had any plans to update ?

Wow, that's so nice to hear that you read CITC! I'm really sure that I will get back to it eventually!

Unfortunately (for that fic), I got really sucked into the Hunger Games prequel fandom at the beginning of the year, and it refuses to leave me!

I do have a bit of the next chapter written that I occasionally stare at, feeling a little bad that I haven't updated in so long! Maybe, I'll try and spruce it up to publish at some point! I really do plan on finishing this fic, haha! And I'm so glad to hear that you're still waiting on updates!

Anyway, thanks for the patience! I really hope I can at least army crawl out of this other brainrot to deliver something to you before the end of the year!
