bernice, hi !! you inspired me and recently ive started making my own (private) bots. i went through your tutorial bot (and it helped a lot!!) but im curious, what are your api settings on jai? i just saw that the options are janitor llm beta, open ai, claude, and proxy. do you use the default?
and feel free to share any other bot creation tips you have! (cai has been fun but im really having a hard time with jai)
hi hello ♡ i'm honoured to have inspired you (๑>◡<๑) and i'm glad bot making has been fun for you and i hope to see your bots in public, i'd love to try them!! i haven't gotten around to checking out the API and proxy things on janitor yet actually so i guess i can say i've just been using the default?
i've discussed how i do things on jai a few times, let me just... there's this ask and also this ask about how i code on jai!
i feel like generally, i try not to clutter the bots with too much information. i used to be guilty of just info dumping things about my ocs or previous bots thinking that the more it had the better, but like... 80% of the time, these are things that won't come up in the plot anyway unless you force it out? and it's fun for the bot maker, i guess, but it does confuse the bot.
are you making OCs or existing character bots? •ᴗ•

Claude Code isn't working? Kiro is here to save the day! The new AI programming tool—you can ditch the cursor!
Claude Code on strike? Kiro will help you breeze through the entire development process!
Big news in AI programming tools! AWS (yes, Claude's parent company) has quietly released a brand new AI IDE—Kiro. After testing it out, we were blown away: This thing can really replace Cursor!
1. Kiro is now completely free, with built-in Claude-Sonnet-4 and Claude-Opus-4 models, ready to use at no cost!
2. It has stronger coding capabilities than Cursor and a more rigorous workflow, so you won't forget anything.
3. It supports Windows and Mac, and you can download and use it immediately. The monthly fee will be cheaper than Cursor in the future.
Download link
(No tutorial needed—just download, register, and get started. Don't ask—it's fully automated!)
Why can Kiro save you?
1. Project documentation is automatically generated, curing forgetfulness!
When you first open Kiro, it will automatically suggest generating project documentation. For example, if you're building a blog system, Kiro will automatically organize three documents: content management, user permissions, and comment interaction, all stored in the .kirodirectory. Every time you communicate with Kiro, it will automatically reference these documents, completely eliminating AI “forgetfulness”!
2. Vibe Mode & Spec Mode—perfect for both tech newbies and experts!
Vibe Mode: Directly chat with AI to write code, ideal for quickly building prototypes or small tools—no prior experience required.
Spec Mode: First generate detailed requirements and design documents, then proceed to coding—perfect for team collaboration and formal projects. For example, when building an e-commerce platform, Kiro will first break down requirements like products, orders, and payments into clear categories, ensuring the entire development process is well-documented.
3. Full control over code modifications, with the ability to revert changes at any time
Kiro's Follow button allows you to preview code changes, and the Revert button restores them with a single click. For example, if you ask Kiro to improve the search function and find it unsatisfactory, you can revert it directly without manually retrieving the history. The experience is more comfortable than Cursor and Claude Code, and your mom won't have to worry about your code being messed up by AI anymore!
How smart is Kiro's Agent design?
1. No token-saving, thoroughly reads all relevant code and documentation
Kiro's philosophy is “no token-saving, get the job done right.” For example, if you ask it to optimize an image upload process, Kiro will automatically search for all relevant modules, read the API documentation, understand frontend and backend dependencies, and then provide a complete optimization recommendation. It doesn't just make a few superficial changes and call it a day. The solution is reliable, and the details are well-considered.
2. Work ethic rivaling an intern, meticulous to the point of being touching
When faced with complex tasks, such as overhauling the user registration process to support dual verification via phone number and email, Kiro proactively maps out all relevant logic, repeatedly confirms requirements with you, and ensures every step is flawless. This is a world apart from Cursor's “make changes without clarifying requirements” approach. The entire process left me exclaiming, “This is reliable!”
3. Logic flowchart? Draw the entire business chain in one sentence!
For example, if you ask Kiro to “draw a logic diagram of our content review process,” you'll receive a detailed Markdown flowchart in minutes, clearly outlining every step from content submission, automatic detection, manual review, to final display. It's fully visualizable directly in the IDE. This efficiency is mind-blowing and saves countless brain cells.
Specs + Hooks: Fully automated development workflow, doubling team efficiency
Kiro has mastered Spec-Driven Development. For example, if you want to add a “bookmark” feature, just say it, and Kiro will automatically break it down into user requirements, boundary conditions, acceptance criteria, generate interface designs, database table structures, and automatically create development tasks and test points. Every step can be previewed, rolled back, and audited, with documentation and code synchronized in real-time—maintenance is no longer a headache!
Hooks automation triggers are even more amazing: snapshots are automatically generated when components are saved, API documentation is automatically updated when interfaces are modified, and dependency security is automatically checked before submission, so everyone on the team can enjoy consistent quality assurance and security reviews.
Other bonus features that crush similar products
• MCP: Can be integrated with other AI tools for maximum expandability.
• Steering Rules: Customize AI agent behavior and have intelligent agents follow your commands.
• Agentic Chat: Contextual programming and real-time task communication.
• Compatible with VS Code plugins: Built on Code OSS and fully supported by the Open VSX plugin ecosystem.
2025 AI Development Tool Hierarchy
My real ranking:
Claude Code > AugmentCode > Kiro > Cursor > Everything else
If you can use the original Claude Code, go for it. Newbies should try Kiro/Cursor first, with Kiro offering a better experience. AugmentCode is high-quality but slow. Cursor… just forget about it!
Summary: Can’t use Claude Code? Try Kiro now!
Kiro is now free and available on Mac, Windows, and Linux, supporting all major programming languages. From requirements to launch, the AI development experience is fully optimized!
What are you waiting for? Download it now and experience the future of AI IDE!

How to Choose the Right Artificial Intelligence Course in Bengaluru for Your Career Path?
Artificial Intelligence isn’t a niche field anymore it’s the backbone of modern tech, powering everything from chatbots to self-driving cars. And if you’re in Bengaluru, you’re already in India’s AI capital. But with dozens of options claiming to offer the best Artificial Intelligence course, how do you know which one is right for your career path?
Why Bengaluru Is a Top Choice for AI Learning?
First, let’s talk about location. Bengaluru is more than just India’s Silicon Valley it’s a living, breathing AI ecosystem. Whether it’s global tech giants like Google, Amazon, and Microsoft, or local start-ups building AI for healthcare, fintech, and logistics, the opportunities here are real and growing fast.
Choosing an Artificial Intelligence course in Bengaluru means you’re not just learning theory — you’re preparing for actual jobs, internships, and project work in a city that’s hiring AI talent every day.
Step 1: Start with Your Career Goals
Before looking at course brochures, figure out what you actually want from the course. The term “AI” covers a wide range of roles and skills.
Ask yourself:
Do I want to become an AI or ML Engineer?
Am I more interested in data analysis or AI-driven business roles?
Do I want to work in research and development?
Am I a software developer trying to upskill?
Each of these goals requires a different kind of course some are math-heavy, some focus on coding, and others center on business applications.
Step 2: Dig Into the Curriculum
Here’s where it gets real. Don’t settle for vague terms like “AI concepts” or “ML models.” A quality Artificial Intelligence course should clearly spell out what you’ll be learning — and more importantly, how.
A solid curriculum should include:
Python programming for AI
Mathematics for Machine Learning (linear algebra, probability, statistics)
Supervised and Unsupervised Learning
Neural Networks and Deep Learning
Natural Language Processing (NLP)
Computer Vision
Model deployment (using tools like Flask, Docker, AWS, etc.)
Capstone Project with real-world data
Bonus if it includes training on:
LLMs like GPT-4 and Claude
Prompt Engineering
Generative AI tools and ethics
Courses that skip the math entirely or just give you pre-written code to run? Probably not worth your time.
Step 3: Match the Course to Your Current Experience Level
A beginner doesn’t need to jump into GANs or transformers on Day 1, and someone with two years of coding experience shouldn’t sit through “What is Python?” again.
For Beginners:
Choose a foundational Artificial Intelligence course that starts with basics
Look for structured learning paths: Python → Math → ML → AI
Live mentorship and recorded sessions are essential
For Intermediate/Advanced Learners:
Go for specialized AI programs — deep learning, NLP, computer vision, or LLMs
Hands-on projects should challenge you with complex datasets
Look for programs that also teach deployment and real-time applications
If a course feels too easy or too overwhelming within the first few modules, it probably isn’t the right fit for your level.
Step 4: Look Beyond Videos — Hands-On Learning Is Non-Negotiable
AI isn't something you can learn by just watching tutorials or PowerPoint slides. You must build.
Make sure your course includes:
Mini-projects after each major module
A capstone project using a real-world problem
Use of libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn
Tools like Jupyter Notebooks, GitHub, Streamlit
Peer or mentor feedback on your code
If you aren’t writing, debugging, and deploying models regularly, you’re not learning AI — you’re just consuming content.
Step 5: Who’s Teaching You?
The best courses are taught by people who actually work in AI. You want instructors who’ve:
Built real-world models
Worked in industry or published research
Can translate complex ideas into practical examples
Ask:
Can I find the instructor’s LinkedIn?
Have they worked in relevant AI roles?
Do they teach live or just appear in pre-recorded lectures?
Avoid programs that outsource teaching to general trainers or course coordinators with no field experience.
Step 6: Placement Support — If It Matters to You
Not everyone needs placement help — but if you’re switching careers or entering the field fresh, it’s a huge bonus.
Look for courses that offer:
Resume & portfolio building
1:1 interview coaching
Coding assessments & mock interviews
Access to hiring partners or exclusive job boards
Alumni success stories with real names and companies
Beware of vague “100% placement assistance” promises. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
Step 7: Check Reviews, Not Just Ratings
A 4.9-star rating doesn’t mean much without context. Dig deeper.
What to look for:
Specific success stories — where did people end up after the course?
Mentions of support quality — was mentorship consistent and helpful?
Complaints — were there delays, content gaps, or lack of real projects?
Reddit, Quora, LinkedIn, and even YouTube reviews can give you an unfiltered view of the experience.
Step 8: Decide Your Learning Format — Online, Offline, or Hybrid
Bengaluru offers all formats:
Offline:
Great for structure and face-to-face mentorship
Useful for beginners or career changers
Requires travel and time commitment
Online (Live):
Flexible but still interactive
Ideal if you're working full-time or outside Bengaluru
Self-paced:
Only works if you’re extremely disciplined
Often lacks real feedback or accountability
Hybrid (best of both worlds):
Attend live classes online and get in-person support for projects
Many Bengaluru institutes now offer hybrid models to suit working professionals
Final Thoughts: So What’s the Best Artificial Intelligence Course in Bengaluru?
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer — the best course is the one that fits your skill level, career goals, and learning style.
That said, if you’re looking for a course that balances practical training, expert mentorship, and recognized certification, the Boston Institute of Analytics is worth a serious look.
Their Artificial Intelligence course in Bengaluru offers:
A globally aligned curriculum
Hands-on projects from day one
Mentors from top companies working in AI
Certification that’s recognized by employers
Placement assistance tailored to individual learners
Whether you're starting out or looking to upskill, BIA makes sure you're not just learning AI — you're building a real, future-ready career with it.

VFX + Demo
Tumblr media
In this workshop, we were introduced to Adobe Premiere Pro. Premiere Pro is an editing software by Adobe, similar to After Effects, however, After Effects is more focused on special effects, for creating 2D & 3D animations etc.  I have used Premiere Pro in the past when I was in college editing video for college projects and I also learnt how to use it from many Youtube tutorials but I was more of an After Effects guy. I haven’t really fully used green screen feature properly until I came to this workshop.  We were given a task to create a scene from a source we were given. The source was a montage of Jean-Claude Van Damme implementing a few action scenes in front of the green scene to use. It was a 3-minute long video with many action scenes so before I started to edit, I looked at the 3-minute long video and thought about what scene should I use and what I should I edit it with. There was a scene where Jean jumps out of a corner and starts shooting, I decided to use this scene because I had a good idea on how I could use it and it is relatively simple.  The idea was to do a scene where Jean comes from a corner in a hallway and does a surprise attack. I searched on Google for a good image to use, found a good image and put in the timeline in Premiere Pro.  Below the Shooting clip and used the Ultra Key effect on the shooting clip to turn the green screen transparent so the image could appear behind it.  I made a few adjustments to make it more realistic by downsizing the shooting clip and adjusting the position. I used the masking tool to editing the shooting clip to make it look like he’s actually jumping out of the door. Then I wanted to improve the scene so I thought I to apply a code that was used in After Effects to make the movements shaky and it was known as the ‘wiggle’, this is where I found out that this doesn't work on Premiere Pro so I had to move the frame manually. I made the frame shaky when Jean fired the shots to give a more dramatic effect, so you could to pretend to be shot by Jean.
Overall, this workshop was fun and it was in my interests. I learnt how to use the green screen effect properly which is valuable to know when using green/blue (chroma key) screen in future projects.

One Time Pads
The One Time Pad was described by Claude Shannon as one of the only forms of “perfect secrecy”, being that if it is executed correctly, it is uncrackable. The One Time Pad requires a key which is completely random and at least as long as the message to be encoded. Each letter is combined with the corresponding letter of the key using modular arithmetic.
Security
The absolute security of the One Time Pad was proven by Claude Shannon in the 1940s, but depended on a few things... 1. The pad must be generate from truly random numbers 2. The pad must be as long as the message 3. The pad must never be reused
Historical Use
OTP are loved because of their simplicity and potential or perfect security without the need to reveal valuable cyprtographic technology. Famous example is SIGSALY - a communications channel between Britain and the US for secure wartime communications.
Cribb Dragging
Unfortunately, I could not figure out the coded messages so instead utilised social engineering to find someone who could. I went through my tutorial groups Something Awesome Proposal links to find members blog posts about this. I can across this one which made so much sense...

Threat Modelling
Threat modelling is one of the formal ways that we assess and document risk within the Information Security Industry.
There are several frameworks which are used to help build threat models:
- Threat Trees - provide a formal, methodical way of describing the security of systems, based on varying attacks. Basically, you represent attacks against a system in a tree structure, with the goal as the root node and different ways of achieving that goals as leaf nodes.
Tumblr media
- DREAD - part of a system of risk-assessing computer security threats previously used at Microsoft. It provides a mnemonic for risk rating security threats using five categories.. Damage, Reproducibility, Expolarability, Affected users and Discoverability.
- STRIDE - models of threat also developed by Microsoft, also mnemonic. Spoofing of user identity, Tampering, Repudiation, Information disclosure, Denial of service and Elevation of privilege.
