Clockwork is the one actually honoring the deals whenever Danny is told to say yes. Clockwork is bored and this gets him out of the tower

It's usually simple things like restoring youth or offers of power, which Clockwork does by rewinding time on a target or giving them a blob ghost, thank you Spectra for a proof of concept

Clockwork's price for doing this? Breaking Barry Allen's legs. Danny doesn't know why Clockwork has it out for this one guy, but he's not gonna question the guy who's been helping him and every other time traveler not named Barry

Except now. He's really questioning Clockwork since the latest summoning ended with Clockwork turning the human sacrifice into a baby and dropping Danny and the baby back home... in front of his parents

He’s human, but there are still some other aspects to him now.

When it comes to the magical abilities, all who have them must be chosen by a higher up Ghost from Eidolon. Danny and Jazz were chosen by Clockwork, even though Jazz isn’t a full-time fighter.

Plasmius and Valerie are chosen by Pariah Dark, but Valerie isn’t as powerful because it was more so Plasmius’s choice over Pariah’s. (He just wants to defeat the Ancient’s chosen so he doesn’t mind giving her a little power.) When she defects she later gets chosen by Pandora (It was gonna be a surprise but I’m stupid and forgot to erase her name)

Ellie is a different case since she is an artificial clone. She doesn’t need to have an Ancient choose her for her abilities, but getting chosen will increase her abilities.

Danny and Vlad are tied to Eidolon however by some Fate bullcrap while Jazz and Valerie are involved by choice (Sam and Tucker help with damage control and research but aren’t much help fight wise). Ellie is tied to Earth and Eidolon since she’s from both. (She’s technically still a halfa ig)

I hope that made sense- I can’t spare too much more since I want to leave some stuff a surprise.

Being the keeper of Time, ya kinda have to deal cards under the table! Clockwork and his lapdog Dan are by far my favorite duo to spend a Friday night with!
