- From New Zealand - late 30s to early 40s most likely 38 -initially, his main dream/goal was to become an aerospace engineer, majoring in that and computer science before a sequence of unfortunate events caused him to drop out - went to the same college with jimmy! And joined a frat with him, both of them getting branded (curly has his on his right pec) - was scared when he heard Jimmy wanted to join a frat bc he's never been accepted or a part of large social groups. But even more scared when he realized that jimmy kind of fit right in. - one of those guys who are really engaged in a convo but it comes off as unsettling with the amount of times he nods and keeps his blinding blue eyes open. Never blinking. He'll have "regular" speech patterns but sometimes will randomly look through a person and start to monolog b4 going back to normal.

Anya

-Ukranian or Czech! -in her early to mid-30s. Give or take 32 -speedrunner. She knows she won't ever get top 10 in the world or anything but she'll get VERY competitive with not only her personal records but anyone close to her. - wanted to be a vet at some point because of her love for animals but then developed an interest in human biology and anatomy as well as psychology due to her mother and simply shifted her career path - outside of work she is interested in a lot of alt fashion and music. Specifically whimsical Gothic aesthetics -downturn eyes, roman nose, buck teeth. I'd also imagine she'd have a kinda boxy/rectangular figure. pretty tall being 5'10 -she speaks as if her words are waves, she has a fluttershy-esque type of speech pattern with just a deeper register and a hint of her accent changing her inflection from really high pitch to low on a whim. -A single-parent home (raised by her mom and still lives with her) is her moms caretaker! they are extremely close and are each other's number 1 friend

- hc him as mixed for some reason? Specifically having Korean, German, and Mexican roots. Grew up in the South and says weird shit like "colder than a witches tit" unprovoked. has a bit if twang as well -mid 40s...prolly 45 - one of those math nerds. It would be impressive if he didn't not so subtly flaunt it. Particularly when he feels like he's being compared to curlys accomplishments -did a little dance and had a whole party when curly dropped out of college. "Comforted" him through the decision...Has his branding on his lower abdomen (requested it be there specifically like the freak he is) -adopted into a military vet hoarder family. Doesn't know his bio family, tried finding his bio mom when he was 16 but that failed. Craziest mixture of childhood trauma and living circumstances that caused him to become a clean freak. Also around the time he was 20, he was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder and a shit ton of cluster b disorders. Often manifesting in extreme zoophobia and claustrophobia. - eventually, his family deemed him too difficult to care for and kicked him out. He was homeless for a year till he reconnected with Curly- hated Curly for a while bc of this...felt lesser than him -monotone way of speaking and talks very quickly. Deadpanned long face, kinda wavy hair, gold tooth, with beauty marks on his face. Weightlifts but kinda has a sleeper build so he look lanky. Slouched.

Swansea

- Irish/Scottish roots. Lives in Minnesota - 50 to 60 his wife is a bit older than him by 4 years - has 2 kids. Both currently going to college. Is feeling empty nest syndrome hard and stares out into the window thinking about them in silence - won't admit it but his eyes are going to shit and he needs glasses. Will subtly ask anya about her eyesight and her glasses/contacts to see his options (thinks glasses makes him look stupid but his wife adores it) -dog person to the max. Helped him to adopt a lot when the kids left and now they're everywhere -lives cooking but is baaaaad at it. really good at baking though! -he talks kind of slow. Likes he's testing your patients. Has a bit of gruff in his voice and likes giving people nicknames and quick quips. The more he makes fun of you the more he loves you

-23/24 -Filipino and Japanese! -lives in a single parent household with his mom and relates to anya a lot in this regard. has a lot of pressure to fulfill the "man" role in his home - gyaru! He loves the subculture so much and likes to share/ talk abt it with anya. They bond a lot over their love of alternative things -very particular about his ring and jewelry placement. He will get a bit grumpy when he has to change or not wear them 24/7 -lived in Hawaii with his mom before the internship but they moved after his father passed - extremely good at swimming and sports in general. theeeeeee holy fuck the entire fic honestly. i cant even pick apart individual bits because my feelings abt it r like so generalized? like, its hard to say something on bits when it's the whole thing im like crazy about. because. the. the fact she has a nightmare of julienne in danger and, like, not herself. and that's what stresses her out to the point of like. deeming it a nightmare ?!?!?!?!?!? and

ALSO I KNEW THIS DREAM WAS REFERENCED BEFORE IN THE PAST I WAS HAVING LIKE DEJA VU ABOUT IT LOL cus i swear i remembered something similar happening (i mashed both fics in2 one memory so i initially had the fzzy memory of sam waking up from a nightmare b4 and lashing out at julienne for trying to help her thru it)

but im sooo crazy about the last bit of this fic where julienne is reassuring sam that she's warm becos this is doomed tragic yuri girl. ykwhat isnt warm................... ded bod. this is what u cal foreshadowing . . . . .

IDK IF IM READING INTO THE DREAM BIT TOO MUCH BUT I CANT tell if its symbolism for how Sam is like secretly afraid of losing Julienne & her being cold is in reference to how dead bodies r cold and her crcying or sucumbing to the weather is supposed to come off as haunting & a reflection of sam's like guilt or something along those lines. i feel like im not being coherent right neow.

I DUNNO i think Julienne is the hardest for Sam when she's upset/crying etc. becus Sam is bad at handling those type of emotion. to some degree she gaf becus it bothers her so badly to the point its a core theme in her nightmares about Julienne. as in like. deep down Sam gaf so badly that she has nightmares about it.

im so sleepy and stuff but at the same time im like. my fucking godddddddddddddd. its so telling that Sam like GIVES A FUCK but it's not like in a traditional way becus of her mental issues—like she has a hard time appropriating her own feelings and actions in the face of other people's feelings and actions. and then here comes a kitty that just feels so much yk!!! hardest difficulty for sam but she need that cat soooo bad...

it's the way she tries for Julienne. . . it's the way she understands the concept of what would hurt, what would be bad for her partner Julienne :,( it's the way she doesn't want these bad things to happen to her kitty :,,,,( what the cluster b gfs 😭

I've had this thought about Sam getting real vulnerable over something...smaller in scale to Julianne's full burst of emotions. But she's deeply uncomfortable with the idea she's in love with somebody so much, she dreams of them and gets worried.

The world begins to thaw out of Winter's chilly grip. Early February promises less snow and gentler temperatures. It was cold enough to wear a scarf or a cardigan out, but warm enough to finally return into the woods and watch the stars. Fireflies emerged from the tall grass fields surrounding the solemn town of Woodbrook, illuminating the gardens and porches of the quiet critters. A year ago, Sam took Julianne to a moonlit clearing in the surrounding forest glittering with fireflies. Since then that spot has kept many of their secrets and hundreds of retold, rearranged stories whispered under the grass and mushrooms padding their heads. Today was no exception, celebrating their first year together as a couple under the same stars and trees that memorized their patterns. A dirt path had been paved by their footsteps. Flowers and dandelions spread above the grass and dirt Julianne lays her head on. A flat patch of grass is obvious, indicating where they lay their mats and pillows. A bottle of mead, matching glasses, and strawberry shortcake was neatly put away in a basket holding the cloth down on one edge. The pair were asleep. Julianne wore a blue turtleneck at Sam's insistence she should still be covering up even as Spring was approaching. She was held as the little spoon by the bigger bear who had her other arm under her head for support. They have been asleep for hours, only waking up every now and then to drink or talk, kiss, then sleep again. Neither knew what time it was- but it was late. Later than midnight. The temperature drops again and the cat shivers a little.

Her partner is a lot more used to the cold though. She's been out camping in far worse climates or hiding in even icier places. She could stand it. It's better than how it was in November. Certainly warmer than December. It's like rhe wind compared to January. She doesn't need to layer clothing anymore and it's probably her biology but what about a house cat? There's no snow to bury them tonight thankfully but the air freezes her nose just enough to immerse in it. Again.

The same nightmare. Again.

Sam could've sworn it was snowing again. Her cheeks were damp with water and frost trudging her way through a blizzard following something. Someone. She couldn't be sure who it was but it sounded familiar and desperate. The call came from there, didn't it? It cried from the South the last time, but it's crying from the East tonight. Her boots prevented her from running any further, any faster to the sound.

It's the same dream. You know how it ends.

You don't have to hurt yourself thinking of it again.

Exhausted from running, Sam collapses on the snow and finally finds the end of the visage. Through a shaky voice and chattering teeth, the cries make themselves clearer but quieter. Julianne lays on the snow, crying and coughing as she shivers violently. She only has a sweater on and her fingers are frozen together as she clasped her hands together as if to pray. Her breaths are short and labored, holding on to any hope and survive the storm. She cries again.

The snow is wet, right?

Julianne felt her waist tighten. Her eyes flutter open and there is no snow on the ground where they lay tonight. Mushrooms, dandelions, poppies, grass...her eyes take their time adjusting to the harsh light. There's a low growling coming from somewhere. It isn't hostile. It sounded scared like a puppy. The cat sits up to look around the trees but she's held back down by her sleeping girlfriend.

There it was.

Julianne hesitantly shook Sam's shoulder to wake her up. Her calls were wispy, nervous. She chatters- "Wake up."

This was the 2nd time Julianne found Sam crying. She threads carefully. Julianne pleads for her to wake up only to falter every now and then thinking of the last time something similar happened. The cat held her fuzzy face, wiping the fresh tears from the corners of her eyes. She was bleating like a cub. Another nightmare. Maybe this time it won't end like it did.

Minutes later, Sam finally opens her eyes, adjusting to the moonlight shining directly on her eyes. She brings her wrists to wipe her tears, holding her breath to regain some control. Julianne jumps back, covering her face with her hands expecting another angry reaction. But her partner isn't angry. Quite the opposite actually.

"Was I being..too much again this week?"

Julianne's question immediately grounded Sam to where she was again. In a good night in February. In their usual meeting place. Laying on a picnic mat. Her breath is still skittish, trying to regain composture from her dream. She looks at Julianne and she shakes her head in confusion.

"Oh. Julianne. No. I-I'm not mad."

Sam reaches for her lover's hands to put them away from her face. She immediately sighs in relief.

"God. Julianne. Thank god you're okay."

"Yeah?" The calico doubts "Are you okay?"

Sam lays back down and pulls Julianne close to her chest again. She simply nods and attempts to go back to sleep while her breath was still uneven with panic. Julianne insists instead. She shakes her shoulder desperate to help her partner with whatever was on her mind.

"Don't scare me..please."

"Julianne, I'm alright. I just had another one of those dreams again."

"Dreams?"

Wrong wording. Now more curious, Julianne sits up to listen attentively. She cornered the bear into confessing about the dream. All she needed to do was to fully calm down first. Sam instinctively looked for Julianne's hand and enveloped it in her own. A finger tugged the long sleeve of the turtleneck to cover more area of exposed skin. Julianne's fingers gently brushed Sam's soft fur, paying attention to the most delicate spots to coax her into relaxation.

Even with all of that, Sam refused to share what's been bothering her.

"It's so small." She whispers, "You at least know how to symphatize for bigger things."

"Dreams...or is it..one kind of..y'know, connected dream?"

Sam's face softened, eyes looking down to her fingers as she bashfully nods. Yes.

"Do you remember when I...gave you all those sweaters?"

"Yeah that snowy morning...-ings."

Her voice becomes wispy again. Not even the trees could hear.

"I had a nightmare about you. You were freezing in a snowstorm..and crying."

Julianne's mind went clear for a moment as she processed this. What has gotten over this woman? It's sweet but it's so..sad... Poor Samantha. But why that specifically? Such an odd scenario to be dreading over.

"And..then what happened?"

"I suppose on some iterations of the dream there was this gentle melody in the back..and it led me to find you crying standing in the snow storm. Other times you already collapsed, frozen while you cry."

Sam tries to not look too pitiful. Too sympathetic. She's perfected the act of being a friend but not being friendly. She's put a healthy- or at least safe distance between herself and the regular folk. She hated the attention she was suddenly swarmed with after Lola's murder. All she wanted now was to love on, move past everything that last year did to her psyche.

Now she looks pathetic and pitiful in front of her tool to look the oppisite. But this puppet is...kind, actually. More merciful and sensitive and bigger than she anticipated but it's welcome. And so she dreams. She gets so attached that dhe comes into her dreams freezing in her winter.

Is she scared of freezing a cat?

Positively certain she is.

But she's done worse. Her heart is empty but there is room for the calico to crawl into.

But it's cold in there.

I feel like so many of the people in the narc abuse tag always try to make themselves seem like the better victim. How they were so nice. So sweet. Just took it all. Did everything for them. And sure, I don't doubt that was actually their experience, but it really puts it all into perspective. I feel like these people desperately cling to the belief that being selfish makes you a bad person. The selfish are the abusers and the selfless are the victims. Being selfless is noble, giving everything up for someone means you're a good victim and you deserve love and consolation for what happened to you. If they were to accept that a lot of cluster B people developed their disorders as a way to cope with abuse, it would shatter their world view of how a victim is supposed to act. Victims aren't supposed to hurt others. Victims can't also be perpetrators. Victims can't lash out and act selfish. And I think it just boils down to the conviction that their suffering had a purpose. That their suffering ultimately had made them a better and more profound person who is more capable of loving others. An empath. But there's anger in their hearts, and they hate it, and suppress it, because feeling angry and destructive reminds them of their abuser. And they hate to see that anger and destruction and selfishness they suppress so hard reflected in others, and see those people not hate themselves for it but embrace it as part of their trauma and try to heal.

The quality of the bootlegs is questionable in places but serviceable.

I started reading them in proper order and got bored with that and just started doing it library-style picking whichever ones sound interesting. The series is pretty episodic with a few book clusters of exceptions like the last 5-ish and the David Trilogy of 20-21.

Gonna give a warning for gore, lots of violence, and horrors of war kinda stuff. Nothing that bothered me at all now or as a kid. There is also a good deal of ableism in these books. And some racist elements.

Personally rereading this series? I have no idea why people think it's so good.

It’s not.

It’s definitely iconic and memorable. But that in no way means it’s good. Honestly, it reminds me a lot of Naruto in both the iconic-ness and many many problems in the writing.

Reading this series, especially thinking about book 34 and any given Tobias narrated book, does not make me feel that there was an editor involved and the books really needed it.

There is no actual educational value to these books. It often feels like the writers maybe glanced at a zoobook b4 writing on the animals that the kids turn into. The writers have very clear biases for certain animals (birds of prey/cetaceans/dogs/cats) and biases against others (every arthropod and reptile/scavenging animals). There are really bad anthropomorphic ideas on animals/nature all over the place but especially in Cassie narrated books. Specifically, things like releasing tame animals into the wild b/c they deserve to be ~free~. Just some real Animal Rights/PeTA vibes in places.

As someone who loves xenofiction what xenofictional elements the series has falls extremely flat. The only aliens that get to have stories to tell are the ones who think very very similar to humans. The parts where the kids turn into animals and experience the animal’s mind/senses also falls pretty flat from the aforementioned author biases and over anthropomorphization.

Pretty much the only reason I’ve continued to read these books after I figured out that I don’t actually like them is nostalgia, spite, and research for my fanfics.

I would personally rate the series at 4/10.  Good ideas but poor execution.

Zymosan A, an Old Tool in Experimental Pharmacology with Newer Applications

Abstract

Insulin resistance (IR) is an important link between obesity and post obesity complications varying from diabetes mellitus to neurological insults such as cognitive dysfunction and Alzheimer's disease. Currently available high calorific diet induced preclinical models mimic clinical pathologies of various metabolic disorders but they are highly time consuming. Zymosan a well-known inflammagen has recently been used to induce reversible IR conditions in rodent models. Though, the insulin resistance lasts as long as zymosan is injected to animals, but the pathogenesis that resembles to that of obesity, IR and metabolic syndrome. However, high fat or high carbohydrate diet could be used in combination with zymosan to develop a novel animal model of IR where both inducers act synergistically to exert their primary actions. The combination of these two approaches may help in development of a robust experimental model of IR and post IR complications within a very short duration. Such preclinical models will help the researchers to better understand the pathological evolution of long term metabolic disruptions like metabolic syndrome and others.

The pathological state in which the production of insulin is decreased, mostly due to beta cell destruction is known as insulin deficiency whereas the situation in which insulin secretion is normal and muscle cells are unable to respond to the systemically available insulin is referred to as insulin insensitivity or insulin resistance (IR) [1]. In such resistant states, the body cells fail to take up the glucose from blood stream and this leads to elevated blood sugar levels, referred to as hyperglycemia. IR is a primary pathological result of obesity and hypertriglyceridemia [2] that leads to a wide range of secondary complications such as type 2 diabetes (T2DM) [3], metabolic syndrome (Syndrome X) [4,5], cardiovascular events [6,7], stroke [8] including recently discovered link between hypertriglyceridemia, insulin resistance, altered brain glucose homeostasis, Alzheimer's disease [9,10] and cognitive dysfunctions [11-13]. The pathophysiology of insulin resistance is very complex with number of known etiologies, most of which are diet or nutrition related. Over-nutrition or obesity triggered inflammation in adipose tissue [7,14], altered lipid metabolism resulting in hypertriglyceridemia [15] and distorted gastrointestinal microbiota (dysbiosis) [16-18] and all of the contributing factors are interrelated at variable degrees to rise to the final state of IR. The complexity and multi factorial etiologies of IR sum up to make it very hard to replicate and develop a heterogeneous animal model for the purpose of understanding the pathogenesis of IR and its secondary complications and pharmacological screening of chemical entities. Hence the new chemical entities need to be screened in more than one animal models of IR to determine their safety and efficacy. Currently, a number of preclinical testing systems including transgenic models are available for the purpose of IR research. Among various available models of IR, diet-induced animal models are affordable, extensively studied and utilized for the research purposes [19]. Diet-induced animal models involve the use of high calorie containing food sources such as fats (vegetable oil and animal fat consisting high amounts of saturated fats) [20,21], fructose corn syrup [22,23] and sucrose [24] alone or in combination [25,26] to induce IR. Though, these dietary animal models induce the disease with similar pathophysiological mechanisms to that of clinical cases, the development of pathological hallmarks of IR takes 12-24 weeks of time which makes these models tedious and cumbersome to use [25,27].

Zymosan a glucan with repeating glucose units connected by β-1, 3-glycosidic link ages is an insoluble powder prepared from cell wall from Saccharomyces cerevisiae,consisting of protein-carbohydrate complexes [28]. Zymosan is an inflammagen majorly used as a pharmacological tool to develop animal models of rheumatoid arthritis [29], acute peritonitis, multiple organ failure [30] and IR [31]. Zymosan exerts its inflammatory actions by stimulating macrophages via TLR-2 Receptors and neutronphil infiltration through various activated cytokines and chemokiness. Zymosan stimulated TLR-2 associates with TLR-6 and CD-14 cells, initiating the activation of macrophages [28]. Furthermore, zymosan acts directly by binding to Dectin-2 a phagocytic receptor which is expressed on the surface of macrophages and dendritic cells. Recognition of zymosan by Dectin-2 besides the activation of TLR-2 and TLR-6 augments the immune response that leads to inflammation [32]. Zymosan causes neutrophil infiltration to the site of action by stimulating the production of Leukotriene B4 (LTB4), a chemotactic agent responsible for the recruitment of various chemokines and cytokines like IL-1α, IL- 15, IL-18, TNF-α, IL-8, MIP-1 α and MIP-2 [33,34]. Zymosan also exerts its action by other minor mechanisms that play a key role in inducing inflammation, which includes-systemic hypotension, increasing plasma nitric oxide levels, increasing cycloxygenase activity, increasing exudates formation and excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS) production by formation of activated polymorphonuclear(PMN)cells [30].

Being an inflammagen, Zymosan has become one of the potential tools for disease animal modelingwhere inflammation has major role to play to mimic the similar pathophysiology as that of humans. With varying dose, zymosan has been used to develop various preclinical disease models. The disease models include rheumatoid arthritis induced in wistar rats by injecting in rear knee joint at a dose of 1mg suspended in 50μL of sterile normal saline [29], multiple organ failure by administering intraperitoneally (i.p.) to rats at a dose of 500mg/kg [30] and acute peritonitis by i.p. injection to Balb/C Mice at a dose of 0.5mL from a zymosan stock solution of 2mg/mL [35].

Till date, there has been only one study published over the use of zymosanto induce reversible IR in preclinical setting. Mice were injected with zymosan viai p. Route at a dose of 100mg/kg once a week for four consecutive weeks. Inflammation driven ROS production is the mechanism involved in zymosan induced IR. Zymosan causes inflammation through activation of macrophages via stimulation of TLR-2 and TLR-6, Activation of PMN cells to escalate the intracellular ROS production. In this model of IR, zymosan injection has also been held responsible for the reduced expression of various protein markers involved in insulin signaling like IRS-1, PI3-Kinase, phosphorylated GSK-3 and Akt [31].The main aim of this review is to highlight the importance of need of accelerated new animal model to study insulin resistance and associated secondary complications of IR.

    Discussion

Feeding laboratory animals adlibitum with high calorific diets take a minimum time of 12 weeks to reach the IR state whereas a study carried out by Wang et al. [31] suggest that zymosan could successfully induce IR within just 1/3 of the time that is taken by high calorific diet to create the same situation. The only limitation of this model is that the IR is reversible and animals have returned to their normal state within 4 weeks after withdrawal of zymosan administration. Meanwhile, we hypothesize that the combinatorial use of high calorific diet and zymosan can cut short the time duration to induce IR. The use of zymosan with high calorific diet will be rational, as both of these disease inducing agents act through the analogous inflammatory pathways. Zymosan and high calorific diet acts on toll like receptors (TLRs) present on cell membrane to initiate the release of inflammatory cytokines which in turn leads to the activation of NF-k Band JAK-STAT pathways that desensitize insulin receptors towards insulin and leads to surge in unutilized levels of insulin in systemic circulation, can also be termed as insulin resistance [28,36-38].\

    Conclusions & Prospective

A. Insulin resistance is considered as a major mediating and facilitating factor for the development of secondary metabolic complications associated with consumption of high calorific or cafeteria or junk food. With an aim of developing a new, less time consuming and clinically relevant animal model to study and understand the pathology of various metabolic complications in which IR plays a vital role.

B. Inflammation is the common mechanism through which the high calorific diets and zymosan induce IR and their combined use shall exert a synergistic effect towards rapid onset of insulin resistant state than traditional models. This hypothesis can be adapted and utilized by the researchers working in the fields of IR, obesity, T2DM, metabolic syndrome and cognitive dysfunction associated with metabolic complications.

COVID19 Updates: 07/23/2020

US: RUMINT/Analysis: Critical Update 07.23.2020 This is only the beginning. This morning I took the time to pour over on the ground reports from an especially hard hit area of Texas. It is a town of about 350,000 people that I'm very familiar with as I lived there for 5 years and still own property there although I haven't been there in about 5 years now. Despite it being a very backward and uneducated place, this town issued a stay at home order and was conducting temperature checks before there was a single case of COVID in the county. The first confirmed case was on March 21st. Local experts were predicting a peak in April and that by June, there would be virtually no cases. Fast forward to July- for the past several weeks the town has been consistently reporting 300-500 new cases a day and 8 people in the town are dying every day this month from the virus. Doctors and members of the police force have been lost to the virus. Lines of cars go on for miles at testing sites. Medical staff in full PPE- body suits with tape, face shields, n95 mask with a surgical mask on top of that. Many people are low income even before the shutdown ravaged the economy. The only shopping mall is now a meal distribution center where the lines of cars waiting for food are just as long as the ones at the testing sites. It is unclear how the virus spiraled out of control in this town which is almost 3 hours away from any other city. As much as I loath the place, ostensibly they did everything right from the very beginning before there was ever a known case of the virus. It seems like you can run but you can't hide from this thing. For as much disruption to daily life as it is causing, it has only burned through 2% of the population. By my calculations, even as quickly as the situation has spiraled out of control there, it will take 4 more years to reach a point of herd immunity at this rate, if that is even possible with this virus. From everything I'm seeing, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Everything we have seen and experienced so far is just one tenth of what is to come. Supply chains are already spotty, local budgets are spent and within the next week the economy will implode with bankruptcies and the end of stimulus benefits. Regional hotspots are on the verge of erupting into conflict. Economic strain and resource scarcity are all it will take to shove things off the cliff. Those places that haven't been hit very hard by the virus won't be spared, they are just waiting for their turn in the barrel.

RUMINT/Analysis: here is what i see at the moment. it is not much really. The local governs. have to keep the economy moving to get paid the sales taxes. they already lost enuf from the 1st lockdowns to growl to the states for $$.thius is why they want schools open. with both parents working,the local govern's see double the income. won't work that way. but is their theory. this is another "kick the can down the road plan". here is the problems. 1 is not enuf $$ to make up for the lost time. not enuf items to sell to bring in the sales tax.CHINA still dead in the water means no goods being sentg to stores. the local govern will still b short $$ since they lost months of tax $$ already. how long before this is an issue? best bet is going to b layoff local govern workers so they get kicked to the state UI dept. this won't buy much time. can they get to spring financially? think the local govern's have different fiscal years than the normal taxpayer or calendar year. we have xmas in the middle. how bad are things and how much does the state and local govern really know? NOV-DEC is the biggest shopping mths to bring in that sales tax. however, u do not want to p*ss the ppl off and panic them in these mths either.unless Santa has a magic wharehouse, where do all the goods come from to sell? based on waht we know and the DR report, the lockdown has to occur in Oct at the latest. farther than that will lead to riots and the govern losing control over the ppl. i don't think there is enuf supply to buy them into JAN. now since it is an election year, can they kick the can into NOV a week or 2? will TPTB do that if the DEMS are losing the election? tipping popint seems to b between mid OCT to mid NOV. all depends what TPTB decide is their best move with the election. watch for "flue season" to start as soon as schools open. expect death counts for OCT. expect the situation to b 50-100x as bad as now.

RUMINT: FWIW, My bank branch was closed due to Covid exposure. The phone number taped to the door linked to someone who had worked there b4 the covid closure. They were at another branch in the process of closing it due to exposure. I had to wait 10 minutes w/o a guarantee of non-exposure to put some items into my safety deposit box. They drove to the branch to let me in...God only knows what it would take if more branches are closed and no one to retrieve items. Just passing it on. This shit is real.
