🎸 G’day, rockers! Let’s talk Cold Chisel, one of the great Aussie bands from the pub rock scene. Formed in 1973 in Adelaide, these legends became iconic for their hard-hitting sounds and lyrics.

🔥 The original lineup was Jimmy Barnes (vocals), Ian Moss (guitar/vocals), Don Walker (keys/songwriter), Phil Small (bass), and Steve Prestwich (drums). Known for their gritty live performances and raw energy, Cold Chisel dominated the late 70s and early 80s, blending rock with blues, soul, and a bit of Aussie rebellious spirit.

🗓️ Although the band broke up in 1983 (after their emotional Last Stand tour), they didn’t stay away for long. A few reunions and albums later, Cold Chisel is still kickin’. They’ve lost some original members (RIP Steve Prestwich), but they continue touring and recording with all the fire and fury of their early days.
