aaaaAAaAAAAaaaAaAaAaaAAAAA I Do Not Know What Is Happening At Any Point In This Game And I Am Endlessly Confused

honestly i just kind of booted up the game only to work on a good controller layout for it and also to check whether the dialogue text would still cut off after properly patching the game (it didn't! yay) and i started a route and well then i just kinda kept going

now eiki, who's forcefully wormed her way into my brain and has been living there rent-free for the past 2-3 weeks (thank you ves), well fightin her was like. "oh hi eiki <3" -> "oh wow this soundtrack fucks even harder while playing the game" -> "aaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

still got her! on my last life. died once. somehow. there must be some sort of guardian god watching me play these games, for me to do somewhat well despite my endless confusion. that's what happened in touhou3 too. i do not believe for a second that anything that happened in that one was the result of anything other than pure luck i swear to fuck

anyways these phantasmagoria-type games (which. what is that word. is that a word. never seen that). i am not sure these are my favorite type of game really bc they are so damn random and chaotic and i would like to know what's going on, please-- like honestly my only thoughts when playing are: shoot everything that moves. scream. oh i can use a spell now maybe but there are about fuckthousand things around me. pray.

something else i wanted to mention is that it is so incredibly funny to watch the cpu bc of their absolutely batshit insane movements. they're just twitching their way through everything and then they just inexplicably sit in one place for a second and wait for a bullet to hit them like hello??? funniest shit.
