As funny as all the memes about Christofern being another child in Garmadon's eyes are, I feel like it misses the point of his existence. He's not another child to Garmadon. He's the same child. Christofern IS Lloyd. This is pretty explicitly shown in the way Garmadon talks about it. Christofern represents Garmadon's relationship with Lloyd and again, as funny as all the jokes are I feel like they ignore that.

Something I really have to ask, why did Wildbrain decide to make the Mechanic so much more prominent of a character in their seasons?

Like, mind you, in the original 10 seasons, I’m pretty sure his only notable appearance is a one-off episode in Skybound of all places. You know, the season we pretend doesn’t exist because it canonically got erased and never happened. I mean yeah, his existence isn’t tied into the season like Echo Zane, he was just a guy the Ninja previously arrested and put in prison, so you can bring him back if you wanted to with little confusion

But like, he had appearances in nearly every season, outside of I think Master of the Mountain and maybe Seabound? And by the end of it, he was considered so important that he got put on the Council of the Crystal King, aka considered one of the main bad guys of the final season

This man was not that important to the story to get put on the Council. Like honestly, Ultra Violet would probably be more deserving, at least she was a commander of the Sons of Garmadon. Granted, given Harumi and Mr. E were already on the Council, it probably would have been too many former SoGs on the team, but I mean, did we really need Mr. F here anyways? We can just get rid of him probably

And I guess also fair enough that there aren’t too many choices, particularly from the Wilfilm era, as Python was really the only main villain to have actually survived, outside of Garmadon, who’s got fluctuating moralities and wouldn’t be part of the team anyways. It could really have only been him and maybe some Sons of Garmadon commanders if we’re talking important characters that we know to still be alive. Maybe ghost Clouse too, I’m not sure

But like, why of all characters, was the Mechanic so upgraded in importance? Hell he was probably more important than Vangelis, an actual former main villain
