a/n : i havent written fanfiction for ages😭 also never been good at titles. i hope this is good chat💔
It was yet another sunny day at Camp Half-Blood, the smell of strawberries and fresh air was refreshing as it filled your nose. You weren't the kind to wear wristwatches nor did you care enough to look at the Sun's shadow to tell the time. You ditched camp activities after breakfast and here you are, sitting on the forest floor with dirt-stained pants. Plus, you didn't really feel hungry so you couldn't have been gone for that long. Truthfully, you just felt completely overwhelmed and needed some time alone. Sure, you've been here for ages but it doesn't make it easy. Especially having to deal with your younger half-siblings constant questioning and rambles. It's not an exaggeration when you say you're not great with kids, or people really.
You were occupied with admiring a pretty rock you had found, amber coloured with streaks of dark brown. You didn't even hear the rustling and footsteps approaching, you only heard a voice snapping you out of your trance.
"They're looking for you, you know?" You turned around and was met with the figure of Luke Castellan, head counselor of the Hermes cabin, you can't really make out what expression he's putting on right now.
"Really?" You muttered, a hint of bitterness in your tone. How could you not be bitter? You thought hiding behind a tree definitely was a smart way to keep out of people's sight.
"And who are 'they', pray tell?" You turned your head to look at him. No doubt Silena or Beckendorf said something about not seeing you during training, or maybe he noticed your absence himself.
"Silena and Chris." He replied. Chris, huh. That's interesting. You nodded along silently, still fumbling with the rock with your fingers while he just stood there almost awkwardly.
The both of you weren't exactly friends, maybe acquaintances. You have had small talks with Luke but you wouldn't go out of your way to have a conversation with him. You were snapped out of your thoughts as he sat down next to you, keeping some distance between you two.
"Are you okay? You look..troubled." He turned around to look at you briefly, as if he could read your mind.
"I may look troubled but I am far from it." You replied, it was hard not to get a tad bit angry when your alone time was disturbed.
"Then what are you doing all the way out here?"
"Can't I just watch strawberries grow?" You were quick to reply, clicking your tongue after. You were slightly amused on how and why he hasn't told your attitude off yet, but you didn't question it outloud.
"Hilarious." Luke said sarcastically. "You know you're not fooling anyone, right?"
"I have no idea what you're talking about, Castellan." You scoffed. What is it really a crime to want some time alone in this camp?
"Don't act dumb. You know what I'm talking about." He said bluntly, you could swear you heard him sigh after.
"Maybe I'm not acting." You stood up, pocketing the rock and brushing the dirt off of you.
"I just want to know if you're okay. Everyone is worried—" He couldn't finish his words as you interrupted him, sounding more pissed off than intended.
"Does everyone in this camp have attachment issues or something? I just wanted to have a breather and suddenly there's something wrong with me?" You ranted, exhaling in frustration. You know you shouldn't be taking it out on Luke, poor guy was just concerned, but he did mess with your alone time.
"Okay, I'm sorry if I was implying there was or is something wrong with you. You can't put all the fault on us, you've been gone all morning. What if something had happened to you out here?" He said, his apology sounded sincere and his tone was borderline bargaining.
You nodded, some of your frustration seeping away. You were about to apologize yourself until that stupid smirk was back on his face.
"You sure you're not going crazy with the strawberries out here?" He added teasingly.
What is wrong with him, seriously?
You scoffed and rolled your eyes, all sympathy for lashing out on him was thrown out of the window. "Yeah, real funny dude."
You stood up and started to walk away ,and to nobody's suprise, he followed suit.
"Stop following me, Castellan." You mumbled but he heard you, he just didn't care.
"Nuh uh." He chuckled, you didnt have to look at him to know he was still smirking smugly.
You really don't know what took over you, but you willed the vines nearby you to wrap themselves around his feet, and the vines did exactly just that. You turned around with your mouth slightly agape, you were just as shocked as he is! You had the choice of apologising and helping him get free, or running away and leaving him here, maybe even threaten him a little. When would you have the chance to humble Luke Castellan—the greatest swordsman in camp in a million bajillion years— other than now?
"Don't follow me." You said, hoping you sounded scary enough.
Evidently, he was speechless, looking at you and the vines. And you make a break for it.
"Real mature!" He called out to you, but you were too busy running away. Incase he somehow was able to cut through the vines easily. You couldn't help but laugh as you ran, stopping as you approach the cabins. You just trapped and threaten Luke Castellan in the woods, and damn did it feel good.

Photosynthesis (fluff)
Luke Castellan x gn!demeter!reader fluff
Prompt: It's spring clean at Camp Halfblood and Luke wants to bath in sun with you
I feel like i haven't posted in forever because i was busy grinding Stardew Valley. But im back so enjoy!!
Spring at Camp Halfblood was always an event. It was time for a deep clean of all cabins and the big house, sweeping the arena and taking care of all the minor things before the majority of the campers arrived for the summer.
As the counselor of the Demeter cabin it was your job to supervise the campers that took care off the strawberry fields. They had to be in top shape before the next season.
Today was one of the first sunny days of the year, even though with the wind it was still a little cold. You were shooing some campers around, most of them being your siblings but Luke also spotted some satyrs and a few unclaimed kids. Castor and Pollux both leaned over rows of strawberries, parting the plants and placing the spare ones into buckets gently.
"Connor, Travis, put that worm down!" You shouted across the strawberry field. The two raven-haired boys where running across the field, stepping on some plants and pestering the other kids with some worms they found in the dirt.
Luke smiled at you as he approached you, taking in the sight of you. You were wearing the orange camp halfblood tshirt, blue jeans and green flipflops. You were giving the siblings a killer gaze which left Luke laughing. He approached you quickly and wrapped his arms around you.
"You need to teach your kids some manners." You growled unhappy. Luke kept you in a tight hug and rocked you around a little. "And you need to take a breath." He mocked, pocking your forehead and rubbing over the angry wrinkles on your forehead.
You huffed and bumped your head into Luke's shoulder before you raised your head and kissed him gently. Luke smiled into the kiss and rubbed his thumbs over your hips.
"You look very pretty today." He whispered. "The spring gives you a nice glow." You smiled in return and couldn't help but to blush a tiny but. "I'm so glad the winter is over." You groaned into his chest. The winter always left you feeling dull and empty.
Luke rubbed your back up and down. "Agreed. I hate seeing you so sad because of it. Now you are blooming again, that's way better." He laughed slightly and you could feel the laugh vibrating in his chest. You grinned up at him but suddenly, there was a distant scream and two laughs. "Oh for heaven's sake." You grumbled angrily and pulled away from Luke.
You jumped over a few strawberry plants and stormed over towards the source of the scream.
Connor and Travis where hiding behind the Athena cabin, a metal bucket with some worms in the between them. Annabeth Chase, one of the younger Athena girls, was ducking away as they threw worms at her.
You growled angrily and raised your hand. One of the closer apple trees bowed down its branches and picked up the two boys by their hoods.
"Whoa, oh no." Travis shouted as he was lifted a few feet into the air. "And what excatly are you two doing here?" You ask sternly but cracked a smile as you saw Annabeth giggling in the distance.
"We were spreading the worm colony." Travis argued quickly. "That's right. So all plants have enough worms and become pretty." Connor added.
You rolled your eyes and let the tree hold them a little higher over the ground. "I am very sure that Annabeth is pretty enough and doesn't need the assistance of some worms." You argued.
Luke appeared behind you and stopped next to you, standing tall with crossed arms and a smirk. "Luke, help! They're being mean." Connor said, suddenly very whiny and you had to hold back a laugh. Luke chuckled and nodded.
"Mhh, sure. Very, very mean. The most evil person we will ever meet." He joked and patted your hair.
"Can you please let us down?" Travis asked with big, innocent eyes. "No." You said unrelenting. "Please!!" They now whined in unison.
"Come on." Luke patted your back encouraging. You rolled your eyes annoyed. "No."
"What if you get a kiss for it?" Luke suggested mischievously. Connor and Travis groaned dramatically. You smirked at Luke. "You know what... it's a deal."
Luke smiled and leaned closer to you, kissing you gently which caused the siblings to make fake gagging noises. Luke pulled away and leaned his forehead against yours.
"You get another kiss if you let them go now." He whispered. You grumbled unhappy but dropped the Stolls on the floor. They both quickly got up and headed off in a swift pace, turning their heads a few times anxiously which made you laugh.
Luke wrapped his arms around your waist and rested his head on your shoulder. He let out a pleased sigh and peppered your neck with a few kisses which caused you to giggle. "Brats." You mumbled and leaned back into Luke's embrace.
Luke chuckled. "Don't let them ruin your day. Instead i wanted to ask if you wanted to go to the beach with me and do some photosynthesis?"
You burst out laughing. "You know im not a plant?" You chuckled and turned around to hug Luke tightly. "But i would love to lay in the sun with you."
Luke smiled and hugged you back tightly. "Awesome. See? It's photosynthesis."
You rolled your eyes but smiled widely. "Whatever you say, love."

Is it okay if I ask what type of s/o would the Gods be into? I find that really interesting and would like to hear your opinion since I really love your writing <3<3
This request came just right, bc I really want to write but I'm mad busy rn, and this was a lot of fun! so I kinda wrote for ... everyone.
If you're conventionally attractive, you are in Zeus' dating pool. You're exceptionally beautiful? I'm so sorry. Once he has set his eyes on you, you are not safe anywhere. There is no other factor that matters, except maybe if you're exceptionally hospitable and kind to guests, which might attract his attention. Which is not a good thing.
Poseidon would love someone unpredictable, someone who never gets boring and never fails to surprise him or catch him off guard. He'd love the excitement of it all and is generally pulled to exciting and outgoing people, but also people who are more introverted but break out of their shell at unexpected times.
If Hades had a type, it would for sure be someone a little more ... alive than him. He's clearly going for that opposites attract thing, just look at Persephone. Also, I reckon he'd like someone who can stand up for themselves, as standing up to his brothers was always very hard for him and he would admire you greatly for it.
Demeter would like someone who is humble, orderly and respectful and appreciative of the beauties of nature. Someone who finds joy in the little things and never fails to call their grandma for her birthday.
To be honest- you don't have a romantic chance with neither Hera nor Athena, Artemis or Hestia. Though I thought it would be fun to make some platonic headcanons for what kind of mortal they would take interest in in a platonic way.
Hera admires loyalty, it doesn't even have to be to a spouse, it can also be your family or friends. Also, she appreciates people who remain strong even in the face of long term hardships or anguish, and it might earn you her favor. It's not that she pities you, but that she admires your strength to keep fighting. Also, she'd love to talk shit about men with you as much as the next goddess...
Artemis isn't about the whole opposites attract thing. As with Orion, she is likely to make friends with someone who shares her interests, as she also surrounds herself with her huntresses. She loves to talk about hunting and the wild and would like someone who isn't afraid to get themselves dirty. If you're a guy, it's pretty hard to get in her good grades though.
Athena is all in for academic weapons. Critical thinkers, challenging the status quo and earning great archivements. Someone she could have an intellectual conversation with, who offers new points of argument and is able to hold their own in an argument, she is the goddess of warfare after all...
I don't think there is anyone Hestia doesn't like, though she would favor people who spend a lot of time with their family and are kind and hospitable to others. Kindness to strangers is something she very much appreciates.
Apollo doesn't really have a type. His mortal lovers are symbolic for his creative inspirations, so he would not settle for a type but be all over the board. The variety of his lovers concludes that Apollo isn't looking for a specific kind of person. He simply watches or spends time with someone and BAM he's completely and utterly in love. He does love himself an artsy spouse though.
Ares needs someone calm and peaceful- it might seem a little contradictory, but Ares needs someone to ground him, to listen to him and provide the calm for his storm. Actually, he's all for domesticity, though a hot love affair doesn't turn him away either. If his spouse had a strong personality and could stand up for themselves, he would really respect that, but he would also be your guard dog if that wasn't the case. Ares just needs someone to love him unconditionally, quite like the next god on the list.
Not to be disrespectful but Hephaestus does not care who you are, he's just happy with someone who treats him with dignity. Be kind to him and he is putty in your hands. After all his family put him through, he'd also appreciate someone to rant about them to, who can also sit in silent understanding with him at other times. But honestly, he isn't setting the bar very high.
Not to call her vain, but you would have to be insanely beautiful to be on Aphrodites radar. She simply considers herself too good to spend her time on anyone who isn't pleasing to her eye- and that really cuts down the pool of potential lovers. Also, she would only stay around for someone who is ready to give their full attention to her at all times, she is a very demanding lover.
I think Hermes would want someone who is able to keep up with him, but also root him when he overdoes it a little. It would take quite a lot for him to actually stick around, because for him to make time in his busy schedule, he'd have to be head over heels in love.
Dionysus would probably not have a specific type either, simply because he wouldn't want to cut short his dating pool. Though he would like someone who is able to let loose at least sometimes and surrender to his pull of madness and ecstasy.
Extra: Eros would mostly go for someone attractive, but he wouldn't let that be the only factor. Just as the unpredictable and surprising nature of his arrows, Eros could fall for anybody, picking out a trait he loves about them and obsessing over it for the day (I'm thinking 'Someone New' by Hozier if you know what I mean).

Finding Them When They're Trapped: Olympian Edition (NSFWish)
(I promise I'm working on requests but the horny bug bit ok)

🩷Aphrodite🩷
"Oh, darling, I'm afraid something simply tragic has happened. One of my suitors has taken advantage of me and left me like this!"
"...In your own bedchamber?"
Aphrodite waves a hand. As well as she's able to with the short chain connecting it to the bedpost anyway. "Sweetheart, it's sex. We don't need to apply logic to it."
"...I see." You sit next to Aphrodite, admiring the way the restraints draw her body into long, smooth curves. She wriggles in her chains, a deliberate enticement. An enticement too is the way she's looking at you, lashes fluttering and eyes locked sweetly upon your own.
"As I was saying..."
"Yes, yes, a horrible man left you tied to a bed and now I'm here to take advantage of that fact?"
"You do catch on quick, my dear."
⚔️Ares⚔️
Ares does not think this is funny. Unfortunately for Ares it is objectively pretty funny.
He glares at you from the bed, squirming against his chains. "Stop laughing and let me loose."
"I can't believe Aphrodite just left you like this!" You giggle. "I'm pretty sure she just straight up forgot you were here actually."
You can tell Ares is positively fuming about the whole thing. The headboard creaks as he yanks at the cuffs, but all the furniture upon Olympus is far too durable to break that easily. He glares at you once more and then sighs.
"Will you please set me free? I have something I wish to discuss with our dear Aphrodite."
Aphrodite has been so kind as to leave your favorite god naked, and you take advantage of this by resting your hand on his groin. You don't miss the sharp intake of breath when your skin touches his own.
"But it would be such a shame to let you go when I already have you here like this."
"I... be that as it may, I-" Ares's pupils blow wide with lust as you swing onto the bed to straddle his lap.
"Aphrodite isn't going anywhere. And-" You laugh. "Neither are you apparently."
"I suppose... my evening might still be salvageable after all."

🏹Artemis🏹
How embarrassing... to get caught in one of her own traps. Artemis is never going to live this down if anyone finds out about it. Too late for her, though, you've already found out about it.
"It's not funny! I just forgot where I set it, okay? Now let me down so we can both forget this ever happened."
Perhaps Artemis might be more intimidating if she wasn't blushing so fiercely. Oh yeah, and hanging upside-down by her ankle from a tree branch. That too.
"So if you're the prey, what's hunting you then? A deer? A bunny?"
You didn't think it was possible but Artemis blushes even harder. "Yeah, yeah, just get me down."
"Deal... but in exchange for not telling anyone about this, you'll owe me."
If looks could kill, not only would you be dead, you'd have been vaporized from existence. You start to walk away. "Or I guess you could just wait for somebody else to come by... Hermes, maybe?"
It doesn't take long for Artemis to break. "Okay, okay, deal! Now cut me loose before somebody sees."
As you're helping her down, Artemis shoots you another dirty look. "You’re just lucky I've got a soft spot for you."

🦉Athena🦉
One of the last places you expect to find Athena is stuck in a hole in the ground, but here you are. She looks up at you, visibly relieved to catch sight of you.
"Hail, Y/N. It would seem the Lady Artemis is leaving her pit traps strewn about the grounds. Again. I really must have a word with her about it. But first I require your assistance."
"Oh yeah? I hope you're not expecting me to carry you out of that hole." Look, Athena's like twice your size. You love her but it's just not gonna happen.
"No, nothing of the sort. If you could run to Hephaestus's workshop and fetch a ladder..."
You sit down at the edge of the hole, elbows resting on your knees. "I might do that. But to be honest, it's kinda hot seeing you be bested every once in a while."
"I was not bested. This was no battle of wills. This was my foolish half-sister being careless once again."
"Still... you being trapped is kinda doing it for me."
Athena sighs. "If you fetch me a ladder, I swear I will let you tie me up to your heart's content. Do we have an arrangement?"
"Done."
And you can't wait to take her up on that.

❄️Demeter❄️
"I'm going to kill that wretched foster brother of mine. We'll see if he can still throw his precious lightning bolts when he's encased in ice."
You've stumbled across Demeter cuffed to the railing of her balcony. You don't quite know what happened, but Zeus had something to do with it from the sounds of it.
"He told me I ought to get more sun! That it would be good for me! Put a smile on my face! Pah, as if there's anything to smile about upon this blasted mountain."
"Ahem," you say.
Demeter softens. "Ah... my apologies. Of course you give me cause to smile quite often."
"Would it make you smile if you said you looked cute in those cuffs?"
Demeter doesn't look in the slightest bit amused. "It most decidedly would not."
"Ah."

🍇Dionysus🍇
Dionysus had asked you to meet you in his vineyard but how strange, he doesn't seem to be here. Well, since you're here, you may as well look around. As you wander deeper through the plants, you hear rustling and the sounds of someone struggling.
He looks almost sheepish when you find him, half-buried in foliage with rogue vines twined around his limbs.
"Hey, so uh... there may have been a little... incident. Would you mind maybe lending a hand?"
"Don’t you have control over grapevines?"
"...These are special grapevines, yeah?"
And how kind of the vines to splay him out so beautifully. And to let him take off his cape first. And that all of his usual retinue is conveniently absent.
Dionysus shivers when you run a hand down his muscled chest. "And how exactly am I meant to help you if even a god as powerful as you can't set yourself free?" You stop just above where you're certain he wants you to touch him. "Shall I fetch someone to help?"
Dionysus whines when you remove your hand. "You’re such a damn tease, man! Just have your way with me already."
"I'm a tease? I'm not the one who's tied myself up in hopes of being ravaged."
"If you want we can switch places." Dionysus offers playfully.
"Hmm. Maybe later." You think you're gonna pass this up? Not a chance.

🪽Hermes🪽
You didn't expect to find the Messenger of the Gods tangled in a bunch of vines, but to be perfectly fair you're pretty sure he didn't intend for you to find him like that either.
"Oh, hi there, boss. I seem to have encountered a spot of trouble here but don't you worry, I'll be out in a jiffy."
He squirms, trying to free himself, but he's really just making the problem worse. Something he soon figures out when he sighs and looks helplessly at you.
"Don’t suppose you'd care to lend a hand?"
"Haha, oh alright," you manage through your giggles. "Hold on just a moment."
"Kinda can't do anything else," he points out.
You wade into the bushes, reaching for the vines that ensnare his wrist. Unfortunately, there's a bit more of them than you bargained for. One catches on your foot and you go tumbling forward, knocking both you and Hermes to the ground.
"Shit, sorry!"
But Hermes doesn't look as bothered as you thought he would. It's probably because your hand has landed squarely on his groin. You hadn't quite been sure if he was blushing before, but now he most certainly is.
He's not quite looking at you as he says, "You know it would really be a shame for you to let an opportunity like this go to waste, you know."
...He makes a valid point.

🔱Poseidon🔱
"Damn that blasted nephew of mine! I swear when I catch him, I'll- oh hello, dear! Would you mind helping your favorite sea god out of the predicament he's found himself in?"
You laugh. You can't help it; Poseidon looks absolutely ridiculous looking at you upside-down from the floor. Somehow he's ended up wrapped head to toe in chains, his arms pinned behind his back and his legs bound firmly together.
"What happened here?"
"That good for nothing nephew of mine, Hephaestus swore to me that he'd created chains so powerful that nothing could break them! I, of course, had to put such notions to rest. Nothing can overpower the might of the sea! Anyway, I uh..."
"So you let Hephaestus do this to you?"
You've never seen Poseidon look quite so flustered. "I, er... well, we don't need to linger on the past. Why don't you set me free and we can both go out to a nice dinner?"
"Not a chance, sea god." You drop to the floor beside him, greedily taking advantage of a sight you so rarely get to see. The might of Poseidon, bound. And looking quite handsome in his chains if you do say so yourself. "I think I've got a better idea than dinner."
It doesn't take Poseidon but a moment to catch your drift. "Ha! You best take advantage of the moment then because I don't imagine it'll be happening again."
Maybe. Or maybe Hephaestus will let you borrow these chains from time to time...

⚡️Zeus⚡️
It's funny... this situation that you've found Zeus in almost seems... familiar.
"Curses! Damnit... that blasted, darn Hephaestus... and my foul brother. I shall have both their heads for this, I swear..."
"Whatcha doin'?"
You've never seen the King of the Gods blush before. And certainly not so fiercely. "I um... well, I've run into a spot of bother. And it is entirely the fault of that wretched brother of mine. He insisted that these chains were unbreakable. Naturally, I had to show him the error of his ways. None can stand against the power of the heavens!"
Well, apparently being a cocky, arrogant idiot runs in the family. You drop to a crouch beside him, unable to keep the amused grin off your face. "And how's that working out for you?"
"Yes, yes," he huffs, "I can have a sense of humor like any other. You've all had your laugh. Now let me loose."
You reach down and squeeze between his legs, just enough that Zeus's eyes start to go hazy. He won't get mad at you for the imposition; he thinks far too much with his cock for that. "Oh, but I never get to top."
Zeus looks as if he's already having trouble formulating words. "Well... maybe just this once..."
Once? Not if you can help it.

Hear me out percy jackson x demeter reader what if reader got kidnapped too by Luke just like Hades but reader doesn't like Luke an let me tell you percy and demeter ARE GOING WILD the crops are all dead and the water is going crazy
That's all thank you!

YOU TOOK THE WRONG PERSON
pairing: percy jackson x son of demeter
You were never meant to be part of the prophecy. You weren’t a warrior, not in the traditional sense. You could make vines grow through concrete, calm wild animals with your voice, and coax life from dry earth—but a fighter? No. You weren’t supposed to be on the battlefield.
But you were Percy’s.
And that made you a target.
They took you in the night—Luke and his followers. You fought, of course you did. You thrashed and shouted and lashed out with roots and thorn-covered whips, but Luke had planned this. He used celestial bronze nets soaked in hydra venom to dull your magic, and even as you screamed Percy’s name, the earth couldn’t reach you. Your mother couldn’t reach you.
At least, not yet.
Camp Half-Blood woke up to wilting gardens. Strawberries shriveled on the vine. Roses blacken mid-bloom. The Demeter cabin is on its knees, their prayers unanswered, the soil refusing to listen. But that’s only the beginning. Because when Percy finds out, when Chiron breaks the news that Luke took you,—“We think he intends to use them as leverage. You’re close, and their connection to the seasons—”
Percy’s already gone.
He doesn’t scream. He doesn’t shout. He just leaves, a storm trailing behind him. Quite literally.
The skies turn black. The ocean begins to surge unnaturally, even in places far from Poseidon's domain. Water floods subway systems and overflows dams. Rain won’t stop. Thunder pounds the clouds like a war drum. And Demeter? She’s not idle, either.
“My son,” she says, her voice brittle as frost. “Taken like Persephone. But this time, I will not weep. I will rage.” She refuses to bring spring. Crops fail. Vineyards rot. Fields across the globe dry into brittle husks.
Humanity begins to notice. But none of that matters to Percy.
He would tear the world apart ocean by ocean if it meant getting you back.
Meanwhile…
Luke tries to manipulate you, playing the old card of, “They don’t care about the truth, only the prophecy,” and, “You and I could be so much more.”
You stare at him like he's soil that refuses to grow. “You’re not Hades,” you spit. “You don’t get to play villain and still act like you’re in love with the world you’re trying to destroy.”
“You think Percy will come for you?” Luke mocks, cruel. “He’s a pawn of Olympus.”
You stare at him, the pain in your wrists forgotten, your breath catching not from fear but fury. Your voice is soft when you speak, but every word lands like the crack of roots splitting stone.
“No,” you say, gaze locked and unflinching. “That’s where you keep getting it wrong. He’s not a pawn.” You lean forward, eyes sharp with something ancient, something your mother passed into your bones like wildseed. “He’s the storm. He doesn’t take orders—he makes the sea rise.”
Luke falters—just for a second.
“He’ll come for me,” you continue, your voice calm, almost pitying, “not because the gods told him to. Not for Olympus. But because he loves me. And you? You wouldn’t know what that kind of loyalty looks like if it strangled you in your sleep.”
The silence stretches. You feel it in the walls—the faint tremble of far-off water
“You’re not a god,” you finish. “You’re just a boy playing tyrant in someone else’s war.” And that’s when the walls groan. Dust rained from the ceiling. Somewhere above, something—no, everything—shifts.
Luke’s smug smile finally cracks. “What did you do?”
You blink slowly. “I didn’t do anything.” You tilt your head, listening. “But the tide’s coming in.”
And then it hits.
The far wall of the chamber explodes inward, not with fire—but with water. Pressurized and howling like a leviathan. It floods the corridor, swallowing Luke’s guards in seconds. Vines as thick as tree trunks burst through cracks in the floor and lash out like serpents, tearing down pillars, choking weapons from hands, dragging the unworthy underground.
And then—him.
Percy stands in the breach. Soaked to the bone, blood trailing from his temple, celestial bronze blade clenched so tightly in his fist it creaks. His sea-green eyes land on you, and something ancient and wild ripples behind them.
“Get away from him,” Percy says, and there’s no room for argument. His voice booms like waves against cliffs. “Now.”
Luke draws his sword. “You won’t make it out of here with him,” Luke hisses. “I’ll make sure of that.”
“You already lost,” Percy growls. “The ocean doesn’t ask permission.”
And suddenly he’s moving—the kind of speed you don’t see, only feel. Water blasts forward in a crashing spiral, knocking Luke off his feet. The two clash in a blur of silver and blue. You watch helplessly, shackled, vines too exhausted to respond—but the earth is listening again. You whisper low, coaxing the stone, and slowly, steadily, the roots obey.
Chains snap. Your arms fall limp at your sides, burning—but free. Just in time to see Luke flat on his back, sword flung from his grasp. Percy doesn’t strike the killing blow. No. He plants a foot on Luke’s chest and points Riptide at his throat. “You hurt him. You took him."
Percy’s voice trembles—not from weakness, but from holding back the kind of wrath that could shatter continents. “You tried to break the world by using the person I love most as bait.”
Luke sneers, though he’s pinned. “Still think you’re a hero? You’ll never stop it—Kronos is coming. You’re just another demigod in the meat grinder, Jackson.”
“Maybe,” Percy says, eyes burning. “But I’m the demigod who’s still standing.”
He doesn’t kill him—not out of mercy, but defiance.
Instead, he lets the earth have him.
Vines snap from the ground, curling around Luke’s limbs, dragging him down like an ancient punishment—the wrath of Demeter herself. The floor cracks, soil groaning, and the last thing Luke sees before darkness claims him is Percy wrapping you in his arms.
Percy collapses to his knees beside you, arms instantly pulling you in. He smells of salt and blood and ozone, the sharp scent of a storm that finally passed. “I’m here,” he breathes. “I’m here, I’ve got you.”
You sag against him, the adrenaline finally fading. “You came.”
“Of course I did,” Percy says, almost incredulous. His voice cracks at the edges. “I’d flood the world if that’s what it took. You think gods scare me? You think fate scares me?” He cups your cheek, thumb brushing over the grime and dried blood. “Losing you—that’s the only thing that terrifies me.”
You lean into the touch. “You scared the plants.”
He laughs wetly, eyes still shining. “You scared the sea.”

Not sure if this counts as Epic but more like Greek Mythology, but Hades and Persephone reacting and taking care of their child! reader from the future?
Basically, something happens and now a child with clear signs of divinity appears in Olympus while the gods are having a meeting. Everyone is confused as to why a child would be here until said child turns to Hades and Persephone and gleefully calls out to them, calling them mother/father. Cue shocked looks from the entire pantheon, Demeter faints in the background. After some investigating, they learn that yes this is Hades and Persephone's kid, that said kid came from the future, and now they have to babysit this kid until they can return to their timeline. Cue family bonding shenanigans with Hades and Persephone, alongside child! reader's other relatives.
Little Star
A/N : I didn’t mean to make it lowkey sad at the end part I swear. Persephone and Hades art are from Duvetbox!
WARNING : Future Child!GN!Reader, Persephone x Hades, Slight angst if you squint your eyes.
Word Count : 2.2k
The usual cacophony of an Olympian council meeting was in full swing. Zeus's booming voice vied for dominance with Hera's sharp interjections, Poseidon was gesticulating wildly, causing minor tremors that rattled the golden goblets, and Apollo was attempting to compose a dramatic ode to the current argument, much to Artemis's visible annoyance. Dionysus, thankfully, was relatively subdued, occasionally hiccuping a cloud of wine-scented mist.
Persephone, Queen of the Underworld, sat beside her husband, Hades, a small, contented smile playing on her lips as she observed the divine chaos. Hades, ever the stoic counterpoint to the Olympian melodrama, merely raised an eyebrow at a particularly theatrical gesture from Zeus. He much preferred the quiet dignity of their own realm, but council meetings were an unfortunate, albeit occasional, necessity.
Suddenly, a shimmering distortion appeared in the very center of the grand hall. It pulsed with an unfamiliar energy, silencing even Zeus mid-rant. The air crackled, and the scent of ozone mixed with something else... something ancient and new at the same time. Before any of the assembled deities could react, the distortion solidified, and a small figure stumbled out, landing on the marble floor with a soft thud.
It was a child.
No older than five or six mortal years, the child had wide, curious eyes that seemed to reflect the starlight of the cosmos itself. Their h/l h/c hair tumbled around a face that held an uncanny mixture of delicate beauty and shadowed mystery. Around them, an almost imperceptible aura shimmered – faint, yet undeniably divine. They wore simple, comfortable clothes of a style none of the Olympians recognized.
A collective gasp went through the hall. Children were a rare sight on Olympus, and never unannounced, never like this.
"What is the meaning of this?" Zeus finally thundered, his voice regaining his usual authority, though a flicker of unease crossed his face. "Who dares bring a child into the sacred council?"
Athena, ever analytical, was already on her feet, her keen eyes scrutinizing the little newcomer. "They bear the marks of divinity, Father. Faint, but present. Yet, I do not recognize their lineage."
The child, seemingly unfazed by the array of powerful beings staring at them, pushed themselves up and dusted off their clothes. They scanned the room, their gaze passing over Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, and the others, a small frown creasing their brow as if they were looking for someone specific.
Then, their eyes landed on the King and Queen of the Underworld.
A beatific smile, radiant and utterly joyous, spread across the child's face. With a happy, gleeful shriek that echoed strangely in the sudden silence, they launched themselves forward.
"Papa! Mama!"
The assembled pantheon froze. Jaws, both divine and usually impeccably composed, dropped. Nectar was choked upon. Ambrosia was nearly spilled.
Hades, who had been observing the child with a detached sort of curiosity, felt his usually imperturbable calm shatter. His eyes widened, a rare occurrence, as the small figure barrelled towards them. Persephone, beside him, let out a small, startled gasp, her hand flying to her mouth.
The child didn't slow, their little legs pumping furiously until they reached the dais where Hades and Persephone sat. They practically threw themselves at Hades' legs, hugging his dark robes with surprising strength. Then, they turned, beaming, and reached out a small hand towards Persephone, who was still staring, utterly dumbfounded.
"Mama!" they chirped again, their voice clear and sweet.
The silence in the hall was so profound that one could hear the distant crackle of Hestia's hearth. Then, from the direction of the agricultural deities, came a thud.
Demeter had fainted.
"Well," Hermes finally broke the silence, a mischievous grin spreading across his face, "this is certainly more entertaining than budget allocations for the Underworld."
Chaos erupted once more, but this time it was a bewildered, questioning clamor. Zeus was demanding answers, Hera looked scandalized yet intrigued, and Apollo was already strumming a few experimental chords, clearly inspired.
Hades, for perhaps the first time in millennia, felt utterly lost. He looked down at the child clinging to his leg, then at his wife, whose usually rosy cheeks were pale with shock. "Persephone?" he murmured, his voice rough.
Persephone slowly knelt, her eyes, wide and luminous, fixed on the child. "Little one," she began, her voice trembling slightly, "who... who are you?"
The child tilted their head, their bright e/c eyes, so reminiscent of starlight and something deeper, something chthonic, blinking up at her. "I'm Y/N!" they announced proudly. "Your Y/N!"
Athena, having recovered her composure, stepped forward, Hecate, summoned by the unusual magical disturbance, appearing silently beside her. "The child's aura," Hecate mused, her voice like rustling leaves, "it resonates with both the Underworld and the bloom of spring. And something... else. Something temporal."
After much frantic questioning, magical probing, and the eventual revival of Demeter, who promptly demanded to know who had dared to corrupt her daughter with... a child from the Underworld no less, until the temporal anomaly was explained, at which point she merely looked even more aghast, the truth, as unbelievable as it was, began to emerge.
Y/N was, indeed, Hades and Persephone's child. From the future.
Somehow, through some unknown confluence of future magic or a temporal hiccup of cosmic proportions, they had been flung back in time, landing directly in the Olympian council. The "clear signs of divinity" were a nascent blend of their parents' domains – a faint scent of blooming pomegranates and rich earth, a shadow that clung to them yet wasn't menacing, and eyes that held the wisdom of ancient rivers and the spark of new growth.
"So," Zeus finally summarized, rubbing his temples, after Hermes had returned from a quick, time-bending fact-finding mission, confirming that such a child did indeed exist in a possible future timeline, though the how and why of their current predicament remained a mystery, "you two are... parents. In the future. And now, you're babysitting."
Hades stared at Y/N, who was now happily nestled between him and Persephone on their throne, chattering about something called a "glow-rock" that apparently showed moving pictures. He, Hades, Lord of the Dead, King of the Underworld, was... a father? The idea was so foreign, so... monumental, that his mind struggled to process it.
Persephone, however, seemed to be adapting with surprising speed. The initial shock had given way to a tender curiosity. She listened intently to Y/N's stories of their time, her fingers gently stroking their soft hair. A warmth was spreading through her, a feeling she hadn't known she was missing until this very moment.
"It appears so," Hades finally conceded, his voice still laced with disbelief, but a new, almost imperceptible softness was there too.
The Olympians, after much more discussion and a stern warning from Hera about not interfering with future timelines, even as she cooed at Y/N from a distance, decided that the child would remain in Hades and Persephone's care until a way could be found to return them to their correct time.
And so began the most unexpected chapter in the lives of the King and Queen of the Underworld.
The Underworld, usually a realm of solemn quiet and ordered shadows, was suddenly filled with the patter of small feet and the sound of childish laughter. Y/N, it turned out, was an incredibly curious and surprisingly brave child. They weren't frightened by the gloomy grandeur of Hades' palace, nor by its spectral inhabitants. Cerberus, the fearsome three-headed guardian, became their oversized, adoring puppy after Y/N fearlessly offered him a slightly wilted flower they'd apparently kept tucked in their pocket. The shades whispered in awe as the child, a beacon of life and future promise, danced through the Asphodel Meadows, their laughter echoing where only sighs were usually heard.
Hades found himself in uncharted territory. He, who commanded legions of the dead and held dominion over a vast, subterranean kingdom, was utterly befuddled by the simple needs and endless questions of a small child. He learned to navigate requests for "sky-water" (juice), decipher tales of future toys that sounded like magical artifacts, and endure surprisingly sticky hugs. He even found himself, on more than one occasion, with Y/N asleep on his lap in his study, the child's soft breathing a stark contrast to the silent scrolls of judgment before him. A strange, protective warmth bloomed in his chest, a feeling so potent it almost scared him.
Persephone blossomed. She reveled in her new, albeit temporary, role as "Mama." She took Y/N on explorations of her hidden gardens in the Underworld, where impossible flowers bloomed in eternal twilight. She told them stories of the gods and heroes, her voice soft and enchanting. Y/N would listen, enraptured, occasionally piping up with, "In my story-glow-rock, he has a red cape!" or "She has way more horses in the future, Mama!"
The "family bonding" was a series of delightful, often hilarious, shenanigans.
One day, Y/N decided Hades' throne room needed "more pretty." With the help of some easily charmed — and slightly terrified — shades, they decorated the obsidian throne with drawings made on parchment using charcoal and crushed luminous fungi. Hades walked in to find his seat of power adorned with lopsided flowers, a three-headed dog that looked suspiciously like Cerberus wearing a party hat, and two stick figures holding hands, labeled "Papa" and "Y/N". He merely stared, then, to Persephone's utter astonishment, a small, almost invisible smile touched his lips.
Another time, Y/N tried to "help" Persephone with her correspondence with the upper world. This resulted in several official Olympian decrees being embellished with drawings of cheerful suns and slightly menacing-looking pomegranates. Hermes, delivering the replies, had tears of laughter in his eyes.
Interactions with their "other relatives" were equally memorable. Demeter, after her initial horror, found herself grudgingly charmed by her future grandchild. Y/N, blissfully unaware of the eons of tension between her mother and grandmother, would often seek Demeter out when she visited Olympus. They'd present her with a perfectly ripe pomegranate and ask her about "how plants say hello." Demeter found herself, much to her own surprise, explaining the rustling of leaves and the turning of sunflowers.
Hestia adored Y/N, and the child loved to sit by her hearth, listening to stories and sharing snippets of their future world. Zeus found himself cornered more than once by a very determined small deity asking complex questions about lightning that even he struggled to answer in a child-friendly manner. Hera, despite her stern demeanor, was seen slipping Y/N extra ambrosia cakes.
The days turned into weeks. Hades and Persephone, the formidable rulers of the Underworld, found themselves utterly captivated by this small being who called them Papa and Mama. They learned to anticipate Y/N's needs, to comfort their rare tears, to celebrate their joyous discoveries. Hades discovered a previously unknown talent for telling surprisingly good bedtime stories, and Persephone found that her heart, already full of love for her husband and her realm, had an infinite capacity to expand.
One evening, as Persephone was tucking Y/N into a specially prepared bed in their chambers – a bed adorned with soft moss and glowing Underworld crystals – the child looked up at her with wide, serious eyes.
"Y/N?" Persephone asked softly.
"Mama," they said, their small hand reaching out to touch her cheek. "I love you. And Papa. Even if he looks grumpy sometimes, his hugs are warm like the sun in your garden."
Persephone felt a familiar warmth spread through her, tears pricking her eyes. She leaned down and kissed their forehead. "We love you too, little star," she whispered. "More than all the gems in the Underworld and all the flowers in the world above."
Hades stood in the doorway, watching them. His usual stern expression was softened, his dark eyes holding an emotion he rarely allowed himself to feel, let alone show. This glimpse into their future, this unexpected gift of a child, had changed them both in ways they were only beginning to understand.
The mystery of Y/N's arrival remained, and they knew, with a pang of sorrow, that the child would eventually have to return to their own time. Hecate and Hermes were working on it, deciphering the temporal anomaly. But for now, they were a family. A strange, unexpected, time-tossed family, but a family nonetheless.
As Y/N drifted off to sleep, clutching a small, smooth stone Hades had given them from the banks of the River Styx, Persephone joined her husband in the doorway. He wrapped an arm around her, pulling her close.
"They are... remarkable," Hades said, his voice a low rumble.
Persephone leaned her head against his shoulder. "They are ours," she replied softly. "And even when they go back, we'll know. We'll have this."
The future was no longer an abstract concept. It was laughter in the shadowed halls, sticky fingers on ancient thrones, and the unwavering, pure love of a child who had traveled through time to show them a glimpse of the joy that awaited them. The King and Queen of the Underworld held each other, their hearts full, forever changed by the little star who had briefly, brilliantly, lit up their timeless existence.

so I’ve been trying to work on a design for the reader (aka you guys) for my Olympians x You series . I want to try and make the body look as androgynous as possible so everyone can be included so more gender neutral ig or something. But I also want to try and ‘hide the face’ too so you guys can try and picture yourself in it more.
I’m only really doing this because I need a solid design for the clothing because I imagine the Olympians would doll you up and dress you in the finest of jewels and silks. So this is what I got so far. I sort of like the idea of a veil.

UPDATED:
I’m sorry if it looks too feminine. I’ll gladly make more designs if anyone has any suggestions. But I really like the idea of a the veil and the Olympians just decking the reader(you) out in jewels and all that.

IN WHICH.. the “best friends” of camp half-blood maybe wanna become a little more..
warning! this fic contains: fem!reader // use of y/n
🎧- lovesick by laufey
1.7k
Camp Half-blood was illuminated by gold streaks casted from the early morning sun. Light seeped into Cabin 4 through the window, painting the room with warm hues of yellow and orange. The bright rays were a natural alarm, gently waking you from your warm sleep.
As the covers slipped off your skin with ease, you carefully tiptoed out of the twin bed to close the blinds. Young campers softly snored, and you couldn’t help but smile at their blissful state. Grabbing the rough fabric, you quietly pulled the two pieces together, blocking any more sunlight from startling your siblings.
Sleep still threatened to drag you under, so you slipped on sandals and trudged towards the kitchen, eager to get a warm cup of coffee, or really anything to help you wake up.
Outside was fairly silent, contrary to the rowdy and noisy afternoons that typically filled the camp. The only ones awake were boisterous birds, who sung an enchanting song, and a few other counselors who were busy setting up for the day.
Your steady steps carried you to the small camp kitchen, where snacks littered the room as a reward for the effort of the counselors. A small jet black coffee maker stood on the counter, with Luke Castellan lingering next to it, facing away from you. Your presence went unnoticed by him, and you watched as he swiftly picked up two steaming mugs.
He slightly jumped at the sight of you, surprised by your hushed entrance.
“H-Hey. Made you your coffee.” He said, reaching out to awkwardly hand you one of the energizing brown liquids. You delicately giggled at him for his initial fright, and accepted the sweet gesture.
“Thank you. Excited for today’s activities?” You asked, taking a sip of your toasty drink. Today, Hermes and Demeter Cabin were partnering up for a lazy day doing arts and crafts and indoor activities. The kids spent the past week relentlessly training, working hard from dusk till dawn, so an easy day was needed.
“Any time I get to spend with you is exciting.” Luke replied, smirking, before realizing how that sounded and backtracking. “I- Uh, I didn’t mean it-“
You laughed again, quickly cutting him off.
“I know what you meant. See you at eight.” You turned away, teasingly bumping his shoulder.
“See ya.” He whispered out, pursing his lips and doing a slight nod as he witnessed you sauntering away.
You and Luke had been close friends since the beginning. He arrived with Annabeth and Grover, confused and broken by the world. Luke never wanted to be a demigod, to lose Thalia. It was all too much for him.
But then you passed by in the infirmary, practically radiating a positive energy. You smiled at him, a genuine smile, with your nose scrunching up and your eyes nearly closing, before going to chat with some Apollo kid.
You were selected to give him and Annabeth a tour later that afternoon, presumably for your friendly and charming personality that seemed to lure people in. Luke got to observe your perfection firsthand as you helped the his sister adapt to the new surroundings, sweetly showing her everything to love about camp.
Luke followed you around like a lost puppy, mesmerized by your every move. With every step you took, luscious flowers blossomed, creating a beautiful scenery. Not to mention, the kids looked up to you so dearly, with the way you patched their nearly invisible cuts and grew them tulips on their worst days.
The sad reality was you were more of a mother to them than their biological parents, even if you were only fourteen at the time. You did your best to make them feel “normal,” to let them live a glorious childhood that you were never granted.
In those five years after his arrival, you became close as ever. Whether it was spending time basking in the strawberry fields or splashing around in the lake, you spent every minute together, your bond stronger than any weapon forged in Olympus. You laid by him on those restless nights before he got claimed, and after, too. And when you had a small cold, he went full Apollo-mode and spent hours glued to your side until you felt better.
However, there was one teensy issue. Luke was hopelessly and utterly in love with you. Every one saw the way he gazed at you a little too long and with a little too much love in his eyes for just a friend.
Well, all noticed except you. The poor boy thought you weren’t interested, but the reality was your concept of love was so twisted and blurry that you had no clue what “love” even looked like.
So, both you and him stayed silent, hoping one would realize eventually, and end this torture of a situationship.
Which brings us back to now, a cool and humid lazy morning with the campers, lounging on the few picnic tables decorated outside Hermes Cabin. Luke watched as you sat with your (and his) siblings, carefully threading pearly pink beads on a flimsy string. You laughed as you talked to the young children, making sure they were all included. The sun brightened your features, making you appeal heavenly. And your eyes twinkled with curiosity as a little unclaimed kid ranted on about some silly story.
“Dude, you’re staring again.” Chris chimed in, raising his eyebrows as he continued to paint navy shades of blue onto a rock.
“Shut up. Aren’t you whipped for Clarisse?” Luke sarcastically asked.
“If anyones whipped here, it’s you. How long have you liked her now? Can’t you just tell her already?” He was quick to return the sassy attitude, remaining unbothered by his friend’s remark.
“It’s not that simple, you know that. What if she doesn’t like me back and-“ He tried to ramble on, negative thoughts swallowing him whole. Luckily, Chris was there to pull him out of his own mind with yet another dumb comment.
“Damn. I knew you weren’t Athena’s son, but I didn’t know you were that clueless.”
“What?” Luke questioned, slightly offended.
“How many guys has she dated since she met you?”
“None. But I don’t see how this really relates-“
“And how many have asked her out?”
Luke paused for a second. There was Ethan from Ares, who tried asking her on a date a week ago, but she declined. Or Jack from Aphrodite, who, let’s be real, was the most attractive boy in camp, but she rejected him, too.
Chris took his silence as a victory. “Exactly.” He retorted.
“Whatever.” Luke shrugged, hopping up to sit by you. You scooted to your left, making room for him instantly. Cheers erupted from the campers as they saw their (second favorite) counselor.
“Luke! Y/N told us that you still snore when you sleep!” One of them pipped out, sending the rest of the minions into a giggle fit. Luke took a dramatic gasp in, placing a hand on his heart to pretend he was hurt.
“I do not!” He yelped, making the younger laugh even harder. He couldn’t help but smile as he watched the kids joke around.
“I can’t believe you would betray me like that!” He said to you, trying to fake upset, but the huge grin on his face said otherwise.
“I mean, am I wrong? You are the loudest sleeper I’ve ever met!” You reply, grinning.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” He looks the other way, and before you can say anything, a voice cut you off.
“Hey! Luke, Y/N!” A blond Apollo child shouted from afar, gently jogging while approaching them. They shifted their attention, prepared to fulfill whatever task presented.
“Chiron needs you in the office. New kid arrived. They said his name was Percy or something?” He finished, jogging away, most likely to get back to the infirmary.
The leaders looked back at their older friend, wondering if he could cover while they helped this newcomer out.
Chris gave a thumbs up, signaling he could watch them for a few minutes.
You and Luke playfully danced around one another on the short stroll, talking about anything and everything while you walk through the woods.
Soon, you reached the open building, the stain glass windows casting a colorful glow. You peer inside to see a blond teen, looking around twelve years old, arguing with Dionysius.
“Peter Johnson is here!” The drunk croaked out, and the two counselors made sure to swoop in.
“Percy, Right?” You said, slightly a little too enthusiastic for 8am on a Tuesday morning.
“Yeah. At least someone around here can get my name right.” He rolled his eyes.
“Sorry about that. He can be a little.. chaotic. I’m Y/N, counselor of Demeter Cabin, and this is Luke, counselor of Hermes Cabin. We can give you a tour, if you want.” You explained, gesturing towards Luke who gave a friendly smile.
“Yeah, sure.” The blond boy replied.
-
“And this is Hermes Cabin, where you’ll be staying.” Luke exclaimed, pointing to the rough looking room.
“Uh, no offense, but why am I staying here?” Percy asked, disgust lingering in his words as he stared down the messy bunks.
“Uh, Offense taken. First of all, we’re definitely the best cabin of all time. And all unclaimed campers stay here, along with children of minor Gods.” The brunette said.
“Hate to break it to you Luke, but Demeter absolutely solos your Cabin.” You cut in, mouth letting out a ‘tsk’ sound.
“Slow your roll there. Your cabin may be neat, but the amount of plants in there is slightly concerning.” Luke joked, you and him now unknowingly engaged in your own little conversation.
“It’s better than your pig pen!” You shouted, your sweet laugh echoing throughout the area.
“Whatever you say, Princess.” He replied, and Percy took a step back, running into an older teen, staring at the “friends” who were flirting right before everyone.
“Do they always act like this?” He asked, referring to their nonstop conversations, and their slight physical touch. Your fleshy fingers were somehow always grazing his calloused skin.
“Always. It’s sickening.” Chris replied.
“Agreed.” Percy sighed out, as Luke looked back at the two. They both gave an encouraging look, telling him to shoot his shot.
“Hey, I was wondering if you, uh, wanted to go out to the lake tonight? Just us?” He asked you, throat going dry and knees threatening to buckle as he fidgeted with his thumbs.
“I’d love too, Luke.” You replied, blushing as you swayed nervously.
“Great! It’s a date! Unless you don’t want it to be-“ He was quick to start, but you briefly interrupted.
“I’d like that.”

Because of Her
Small Clarisse drabble I made while watching Are Your Afraid of the Dark? season 3 cause I'll watch anything if Diors in it. It's not that great but I have a fic coming that's slightly similar to this but more frenimies to lovers if that makes sense.
Pair: Clarisse La Rue x Fem!Demeter!Reader

Clarisse La Rue had a reputation to uphold. She never lost a fight. She was never soft, never kind. Always ruthless, cold, and calculating. She was a daughter of Ares if nothing else, that was for certain.
But that all came crashing down the day she met you. The moment her eyes met yours, she knew she was fucked. Your sweet, caring gaze had her locked in. In an instance she was wrapped around your finger.
She would never admit it, but everyone knew she was whipped. Except you, the one person that mattered.
Over the last four years of you being at camp, you two had become extremely close. The fact that you hadn't realized how infatuated your best friend was with you, baffled everyone you knew. You saw the way she stared at you, but that was normal for best friends, right?
She fell more and more in love with you every day. That's what brought her to the strawberry fields. You were knelt next to one of the bushes, picking the ripe berries and tossing them into your basket. Her footsteps broke you out of your trance as she crouched next to you.
"What'cha doin', pretty girl?" A smirk graces her lips as she looks at you.
"Pickin' strawberries. Where've you been, Clar?" You giggle as you look up from the bush. She swears it's the most melodic thing she's ever heard.
"Training a couple of the new kids, you know how long it can take. How about, I make it up to you? How does that sound?"
"Really? How?"
She doesn't answer, she just grabs your hand and pulls you up to your feet, dragging you away from the fields and into the woods. You laugh as you're led through the trees. After a while she slows, walking side by side with you. Her hand never left yours, pulling you closer to her.
"Where are we going?" You ask, smiling up at her.
"You'll see, we're almost there."
Soon, you came upon a clearing in the woods. There was a blanket laid out with a basket on it, surrounded by flowers.
"It's the anniversary of the day you arrived at camp. I figured we should celebrate." She whispers in your ear, coming behind you with a hand resting on your arm.
"Clar!" You turn to face her, wrapping your arms around her neck. "Thank you!" Her arms come around your waist, pulling you into her. She lifts you up off your feet, carrying you over to the blanket.
“Of course, pretty girl.” Your placed back onto your feet, sitting with her on the ground.
“This had to take you ages!” You marvel as everything she’s brought, lemonade, all of your favorite fruit, minis your favorite kinds of sandwiches.
“It was worth it for you.” Your eyes meet, her hand comes to your cheek, brushing a strand of hair behind your ear. “It’s all worth it for you.”
The breath is knocked from your lungs as you stare at her. Looking in her eyes feels like swimming in pools of honey, getting lost in the sweetness she only presents to you. The care only you are worthy of. Suddenly her lips are on yours, it takes you a minute to realize and by the time you do she’s pulled back.
“I- I’m sorry..fuck, I don’t know-” She’s cut off by your lips against hers. It’s passionate and soft, yet hot and fiery. The perfect combination of both of you. Her hands land on your cheeks and pull you furth into her. You could get lost in the way her lips feel, the taste of her cherry chapstick on your tongue.
“Clar..” You’re both breathing heavily when you pull away.
“I should’ve done that way sooner.” She admits. You nod in agreement.
“Why didn’t you?”
“I didn’t think you liked me like that. Thought you’d hit me and run away.”
“I could never run from you. Even if I wanted to, I think I’m pretty stuck with you.” You smile, your hand moving up to her neck.
“Yeah, you are.” She smiles back, kissing your cheek
“Well, we better not let this food go to waste..” You laugh softly, pulling back. She rests on her hands.” Yeah, this took me hours, you better eat it.”
Another laugh escapes your throat as you pop a piece of fruit in your mouth. “I thought you said I was worth it. Here I was thinking I was special.” Her foot nudges yours. “
“You know you are.”
The food is divine, and you have more fun than you have in a very long time. The flowers around you seem to bloom more, color saturating more, reflecting on your mood. The breeze is warmer. The trees sprout more leaves. And it’s all because of her.

Yandere main 6 x reader (headcanons)
--
you were a mortal that the siblings had met after Zeus freed them from their father's clutches. Zeus who met you only weeks before while travelling through the mortal realm plotting against his father, brought his injured siblings to you for help nursing them back to health for the upcoming battle (and as an excuse to see you again).
needless to say, you were slightly in shock when a traveller whom you thought was a simple mortal, returned to your home with 5 of his godly siblings with him.
Hera and Demeter mostly ignored you at first, talking amongst themselves or Zeus to plot against Kronos. Hestia and Poseidon were the polite ones of the group, always helping clean up after meals and thanking you for helping them.
Zeus remained as he was before finding his siblings, flirting with you at any given moment and making slight touches that he claimed were 'accidental'. But before he could have too much fun, one of his siblings usually pulled him away.
after they had defeated Kronos and slowly began their path to destroying the rest of the Titans they left your home to live on Olympus, though they still returned on their own to visit you and mostly plead for you to come live on Olympus with them since it was too dangerous for you all alone in the mortal realm, now that the other titans knew that you had helped them.
Each time you denied their offers, they would act as if they didn't care, but inside, they were seething. How could you not realize they were only trying to protect you?
eventually if you deny them enough they wont give you a choice but to come with them, whether its poseidon bringing a flood to your home, or demeter growing poisonous spores in the village near by to scare you away.
once they manage to get you on Olympus, they slowly begin manipulating you into drinking ambrosia, becoming immortal like them. they say its to protect you so that you'll have a way to defend yourself, but really it's so that they won't lose you to old age or any other mortal weakness.
after you reluctantly agree and become immortal, they start showing some of their more true feelings, becoming more forceful or flirty at times dragging you around and trying to steal your attention from each other.
when Zeus and Hera begin having children of their own Hera practically leashes you to her, claiming she needed help caring for them, much to the disliking of her siblings.
as Zeus slowly begins straying from Hera, having other children with his mistresses you were pulled away by Hestia who wanted to keep you away from their fights, jealous by this Demeter slowly moved her way in, forcing her sister to share your time with her.
as the years went on and Olympus expanded, their obsessions slowly deepened, some hiding their jealousy well and others, causing a scene if anyone dared speak to you.
after the battle with Typhon when Zeus and Hera cheated Hades and Poseidon out of the elusynium stone with the claim that Zeus was the strongest of the three (but really it was a ploy to keep you with them), they declared that you would remain on Olympus since there was no way that you would thrive in the sea or underworld.
as soon as Hades and Poseidon had left for their new realms, and Demeter and Hestia had decided to keep to themselves to focus on their own duties to the mortals, you were left to Zeus and Hera.
they quickly took your hand in marriage, even if you disagreed with it, you were theirs and no one would change that. even if it meant fighting and betraying their siblings to keep it that way.

Ok so I just saw that one Poseidon short animation Neal Illustrator did, and omg, Neal ur gonna be the absolute fucking death of me, nevermind Neal STEVEN WHAT IS THAT SONG!? But I also saw Neal's rockstar designs and got to thinking, what if that was one of their songs? Sung by none other than "Mr-More-Lovers-Than-Zeus"
It's only been a few months but anyone would know about the band Natural Disaster(Neal's name for them, I can change it if requested), the eldest brother who was a god at sound design and pretty good on the drums, the youngest brother the lead guitarist of the band and well known ladies man, and the middle brother who had a voice the gods would envy. Out of all of Natural Disaster it is a well known little joke, Hades' music was always recognizable, Zeus' face his most recognizable feature and as for Poseidon it was of course his voice. The main character in this story however found it all quite corny, fictional god names? Really? Little did Reader know that said "fictional gods" were not so fake but neither do they hold the divine powers they did back then, and after meeting the wife of Hades, Persephone, and befriending her Reader would go on to meet the infamous brothers. Let's just say Readers personality was rather...harsh when combined with theirs and their first encounter wouldn't be so pleasant, oh what will Reader think when they find out the man they beat to a near pulp because he was being too touchy feely around girls was the king of gods in his prime. Now though? Well they're basically mortals, in every way except their immortality which they retained. How will Reader fare on their journey? And which love interest may catch their eye?(If any at all) But seriously...do you really believe Reader meeting Persephone will be a coincidence? Nah, you see Readers had this little pain in the ass for as long as they can remember, honestly thought they were schizo or something when they got older, but no, why are you surprised?
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

If this gets to 50 likes I'll release headcanons and funfacts on my modern!celebrity!AU or "the universe where they've been stripped of power as the eons went by" basically.

I was wondering if you could do the Olympian Gods with a reader whose asexual? Like, what would their reactions be, would they mind, stuff like that d:

Asexual Reader, Olympian Edition
(Doing these asks out of order but shhhhhhh. Also strong warning for acephobia because Zeus in an ass)

🩷Aphrodite🩷
Very chill about it. She's the goddess of love and that includes ALL kinds of love. Self-love is one of her favorites. The fact that you know and accept who you are and that you're willing to let her in on it? Well, Aphrodite might just adore you even more than she already did.
"You’re...? Well of course I don't mind, dearest! In fact, I think that's positively wonderful!"
Regardless of whether or not you're interested, Aphrodite still can't refrain from making comments about your physical appearance. She'll try and curtail some of them if you find them uncomfortable, but she loves lavishing praise upon you and talking you up to her friends.
Partially jealous to be perfectly honest. She can't help but wonder if you have a more pure understanding of beauty because you're not looking at it though the rose-tinted lens of horny. Aphrodite is deeply fascinated by asexuality and even if she doesn't quite understand it, she tries her best.
⚔️Ares⚔️
Doesn't mind. Honestly, it doesn't even really impact him that much. Just neatly writes sex out of the equation and carries on.
"You seem nervous, my dear. You... oh? Is that all? No need to distress yourself so much over such things. I love you as you are and knowing this will not change that."
May ask you a few questions at the beginning but mostly leaves the subject alone after that.
If anyone's giving you shit, all it takes is a dirty look from Ares to shut them up. What can I say the man has a way with not using his words.

🏹Artemis🏹
You too?? Artemis tries to play it off cool but she's low-key thrilled actually. Internally screaming because thank the Fates, she can get as close to you as she wants and she doesn't have to worry about things getting Weird™️
"You’re ace? That's... cool. Sorry, that came off as really insincere. It's just... me too, you know? I got a little surprised is all. And um, we've been hanging out for a while and I just wanted to say, you know, now that we're talking about this and I know you're not gonna take this the wrong way, I think you're really neat. I love hanging out with you. ...Don't go spreading that around though, okay?"
Artemis is sex-repulsed. If you are too, she drags you to family events so she can make faces at you whenever her family starts talking about their sexual conquests. If you're not, she's deeply fascinated and will probably ask you WHY on earth you would want to do that.
Despite the fact that Artemis doesn't want to have sex, I feel like she'd still enjoy certain kinks. Primal play, petplay, and leather are things I feel she'd enjoy partaking in. (Source: I am ace and very kinky lmao)

🦉Athena🦉
What a good match, Athena is asexual too! She probably blanks your confession to be honest because she sometimes forgets that people actually have sex frequently and on purpose.
"Asexual? Yes, alright. And how fared your journey up to Olympus by the way? I hope Hermes treated you well."
Sex-neutral. Will occasionally give sex a go if her partner happens to bring it up but will mostly just forget it's existence as a thing entirely.
Athena is actually quite haughty about her asexuality. She is definitely looking down on anyone who is swayed from the path of wisdom by someone else's sex appeal. Loves that you can understand her point of view on the subject.

❄️Demeter❄️
As Demeter has aged her sex drive has shrunk to like nil so really nothing about your relationship is much different.
"Asexual...? Ah, like young Artemis, yes? Fascinating. I've never been able to pin her down long enough to converse upon the subject. Do you mind if I ask you a few questions?"
Demeter tends to be a touch more overprotective than she needs to be. If anyone even so much as gives a hint of giving you shit for it, Demeter is sending them an absolute withering glare that has the potential to kill even the most vibrant flower. She follows it up with some bitterly cold words if necessary but it rarely comes to that.
She's honestly quite relieved about it really. She was never really that horny of a person and is happy to find someone who can relate to that. I personally think Demeter is some kind of acespec but that might also be my asexual ass projecting my aceness onto every character I get my grubby little hands on lol

🍇Dionysus🍇
Chill about it. He's chill about literally everything, what do you expect? Dionysus is commonly associated with trans people and I like to believe that queer people in general just flock to him because he's just so open and accepting.
"Ace, yeah? Congrats, man, thanks for telling me. Just let me know if I ever step on any toes, 'kay?"
Not gonna lie, he secretly corners Artemis and Athena to bother them on the subject just in case he's got it wrong. He didn’t as it turns out, but he's glad he checked in anyway because it was an enlightening conversation. With Athena anyway. Artemis runs off at the first available opportunity.
Happy to go whatever speed you want, if you want to go any speed at all. He may still get a little handsy sometimes but he doesn't mean anything by it, he just really likes holding you like a teddy bear. Honestly, I think he'd get a real kick out of somebody aegosexual and think it was such a super fun party trick that you can say such horny things and not be interested at all. Probably mildly pesters you to engage with smutty things because he finds your unamused expressions absolutely fascinating.

🪽Hermes🪽
Bursts out laughing when you tell him. It's not for the reason you think and he does feel really bad about it when he sees your face.
"Haha, of all the...! Haha– oh, hey, hey, I'm sorry, it's not that. I totally don't mind you being ace or anything, far from it, it's just that I seem to have an accidental habit for attracting your type and I seem to be collecting you."
Besides you, the person Hermes spends the most time with is Charon... who is also asexual. Hermes, the uberhorny hypersexual fuckbunny who would literally die for a quickie every five minutes find this hilarious. Opposites attract I guess? Hermes has a good giggle about it everytime he thinks about it.
Doesn't mind if you don't want to have sex. If you do, great! But if you don't, it's not a big deal.

🔱Poseidon🔱
Poseidon is... confused. It'll work out better if you're sex-repulsed and straight up don't want to have sex ever, otherwise poor Poseidon will absolutely struggle. He doesn't understand the difference between sexual attraction and aesthetic attraction and is just genuinely so out of his depth. You like the way he looks... but you don't want to have sex with him??
"What's that? Asexual? I, uh... okay, just between the two of us, you're gonna have to explain that one to me, babe."
He talks to Dionysus. Even after that he still doesn't get it. Poseidon tries his best to be supportive but has like no idea how. Probably shooes away people who try to even mention sex in your vicinity. It's gonna take awhile before he understands how this works. Confused but he's got the spirit kinda?
May initially try to convince you that you just haven't had good sex yet. Sit him down, explain this all to him, and he'll probably get it. Okay, let's be honest, he still doesn't get it but he respects your choice and generally leaves the subject alone. His libido is quite high though so he will frequently sleep around just to scratch that itch.

⚡️Zeus⚡️
We were doing good until we got to you, huh Zeus? Zeus just quite firmly doesn't believe in asexuality. He definitely thinks you're just confused or that you haven't had sex right yet or that you'll change your mind at some point.
"Asexual? Oh dear, have you been talking to that daughter of mine, Artemis? She's always on about something or other, if she chooses to talk to us at all."
Zeus won't force you to have sex but he will make subtle (he thinks he's being subtle anyway) comments about how you're a tease or a prude. If you're interested in having sex, Zeus doesn't understand the definition and just thinks you don't find him attractive. His feelings are now hurt. He will be throwing a violent totally-not-a-tantrum now.
Will eventually, probably shut up about it. Look, he's never gonna understand it so shutting up about it is the best you're gonna get from him. This idiot thinks with his penis, okay? Athena stole all the intelligence from him at birth. Just doesn't get it, very confused, cannot even comprehend the idea of not wanting to bang everything in sight.

Hiii!
I just recently saw your PJO fanfics about Nico and I loved them.
And I also noticed the severe lack of PJO x male reader fics in general. So I was hoping if you could write a fanfic with son of Demeter reader x Percy Jackson. (Can be a fanfic or just headcannons ur choice)
You don't have to do this request but it would be nice ^-^
Alright ty for listening to my Ted talk
Wildflower (Percy Jackson x Son of Demeter)
Thanks for the request :) You really had me dig out my books to remember how Demeter was portrayed, and surprisingly, she's kind, so it wasn't much trouble doing this request. It seems I got carried away, so I hope you enjoy!
tags: fluff, some angst, overprotective Demeter, who knows who your father is, headcanon and fanfic, mentions of calypso, break up/make up

Being a son of Demeter is a big deal. Because although she wasn't a virgin like Artemis or Hestia, it was rather difficult for a mortal to catch her attention. So not only are you a demigod but also cursed (lucky) to be a descendent of such an esteemed goddess.
Compared to other campers, you don't hate your godly parent. Sure, your mom is absent for many things and your memories of her are rather scarce, but, on the flip side, you are made aware of just how much your mother loves you. Afterall, you are her youngest child and she must keep an eye on you.
So, when news reaches her that you've begun dating Percy Jackson, she grows overprotective. What do you expect? After the whole fiasco with your sister, Persephone, she wants the best for her son. So expect the goddess to keep an eye on you two.
Percy doesn't mind your mother's overbearingness. In fact, it reminds him of his own mother. However, this doesn't mean that Percy is reckless. Demeter might be kind, but inquiring her wrath was stupid. So, he's extra careful and strives to show respect to the goddess—never stepping on flowers, always keeping a respectful distance from sacred plants, and treating every piece of nature as if Demeter herself is watching.
It takes some time, but your mother comes around. In fact, she's pleased you found someone 'worthy' of your affections. This might or might not have something to do with the fact that Percy has begun helping you tend a garden dedicated to her. Growing flowers known to be sacred to Demeter, like poppies and wheat. They work on it together, Percy’s hands clumsy but earnest.
Not everything in your relationship is easy. There are times, winter and fall especially, when your mood is foul and Percy is no help at all. His recklessness and impulsivity always ticks you off, but none more so when he keeps secrets from you. Like how Calypso kissed him before departing Ogygia.
The moment you saw him walking down the hill, something was off. He had that nervous look in his sea-green eyes, the one he got when he was about to face something dangerous—only this time, it was you. You crossed your arms, trying to root yourself in place, like your mother, Demeter, had taught you. But the anger simmering inside made that hard.
Percy reached you, giving a half-hearted smile. “Hey, I—”
“You kissed her?” Your words cut through the air like a sharp gust of wind.
Percy blinked, looking caught off guard. “What? No, it’s not like that—”
“Don’t lie to me, Percy.” You felt your fists tighten, your connection to the earth deepening as the grass beneath your feet curled and twisted with your emotions. “You let her kiss you, didn’t you?”
His brows furrowed, and he stepped closer. “It wasn’t like that. Calypso was—she was saying goodbye. It wasn’t…I didn’t want to hurt her.”
“You didn’t want to hurt her?” You repeated, the words feeling bitter on your tongue. “What about me? Or did you think I wouldn’t find out?”
Percy exhaled sharply, rubbing the back of his neck, clearly frustrated. “I was stuck on her island. I didn’t ask to be there! She kissed me because she had to say goodbye to something she couldn’t keep. It wasn’t my choice.”
You laughed, but it was bitter, like the taste of dry soil. “Maybe not, but you didn’t stop her either.”
Percy’s eyes flashed with frustration, the sea’s storm brewing behind them. “Come on, that’s not fair!” he snapped, his voice rising above the whispering trees. “I was stuck on a cursed island, not on some vacation! What was I supposed to do? Tell her no? I didn’t exactly have a lot of options.”
You took a step back, the sting of his words making your chest tighten. But anger pushed you forward again, overriding any hint of reason. “No, what’s unfair is me thinking you were gone, Percy!” Your voice cracked, but you didn’t care. The pain had to come out somehow. “I waited here for weeks, wondering if this was the quest that would take you away from me forever. Did you even think once of me while you were away? Or was Calypso the only thing on your mind?”
Percy opened his mouth, but for a moment, no words came out. The guilt that flashed across his face was brief, but it was there, plain as day. “Of course I thought of you,” he said, his voice softer now, though still tinged with frustration. “I thought about you every single day. But I was stuck on that island with no way out. It wasn’t about wanting to be with her. I was just trying to survive.”
“And that’s supposed to make it okay?” You could feel the vines creeping up again, brushing against your ankles like a reminder of everything you were trying to hold in. “You were trapped; I get that. But a kiss, Percy? Do you know how that sounds?”
“I didn’t want this to happen,” he whispered, his voice softer now, almost pleading. “I didn’t mean to hurt you.”
You looked away, blinking back the sting of tears you refused to let him see. “Well, you did.”
The silence between you was heavy, thicker than any storm. Percy stared at you, guilt and regret etched into every line of his face. “I don’t know how to fix this,” he said, almost to himself.
You swallowed hard, forcing the lump in your throat down. “I don’t either, but right now, I need to figure out if I even want to.”
To say Demeter was mad at Percy is an understatement. The goddess's wrath casted a dark cloud over Camp Half-Blood that left even the bravest demigods feeling uneasy. Percy found himself stuck inside his cabin, trapped by an invisible force of nature, the very flora that usually thrived in the camp now threatening to attack him.
Not even Poseidon, the god of the sea, could ease some of Demeter’s anger. He tried to vouch for Percy and his love for you, yet the mere mention of Percy's name caused your mother to shake the ground beneath him. That was the first and last time he meddled in your affairs.
The campers were worried for both of you—the fight had clearly affected everyone, their agriculture suffering greatly, but they truly believed you guys were it. So it pained them to see the perfect couple at the verge of going seperate ways.
It was Annabeth who managed to get you two to talk things through. With her acting as the mediator, you three were locked inside a room and forced to speak about your feelings. Looking back, it was comical how it closely resembled marriage counseling.
The room felt thick with tension, every breath heavy as if weighed down by the unspoken emotions swirling between you, Percy, and Annabeth. You sat on the edge of the worn-out couch, legs bouncing anxiously, eyes fixed on the floor as if the threadbare carpet held the answers you desperately sought. Percy was beside you, close but not close enough. The usual warmth of his presence felt distant, and though you could sense his guilt radiating off him, it wasn’t enough to bridge the gap.
Annabeth stood before you both, arms crossed over her chest, her expression a blend of sympathy and frustration. She was here as a mediator, but even the daughter of Athena couldn’t easily navigate this emotional minefield. “Let’s just go over the events,” she said, trying to keep her voice steady. She turned to Percy, urging him to explain. “What led to the kiss?”
Percy sighed deeply, running a hand through his unruly hair as he gathered his thoughts. “Calypso gave me some items—supplies, food—and made sure the raft was stable enough to withstand the ocean’s currents. I was grateful; she’d done so much to help me. So, I turned to say goodbye and thank her when she…when she suddenly kissed me.” He glanced at you, his eyes pleading. “M/N, please believe me when I say that I didn’t reciprocate—I didn’t want it.”
You finally looked up, eyes locking onto his with an intensity that made him flinch. “That’s not the problem, Percy,” you said, your voice surprisingly calm but laced with hurt. “What hurt me was that you didn’t push her away, that she thought you were interested enough to even try.”
You paused, swallowing the lump in your throat as you tried to keep your composure. “During your time on Ogygia, did you ever once mention that you had a boyfriend? Did you ever think of me when you were with her?”
Percy’s eyes widened in panic, the hurt in your words cutting deeper than any monster’s blade ever could. He reached out, but his hand fell short, hovering between you as if afraid to cross the fragile line that now separated you two. Desperation filled his voice as he finally spoke, each word trembling with urgency and raw honesty.
“I did tell her,” Percy blurted, his voice cracking. “Gods, I talked about you all the time. From the moment I set foot on that island, I told Calypso about you. Every single day. I told her how you were waiting for me, how you were my anchor—my reason for fighting and my reason I couldn’t stay with her. She knew, M/N. She knew you were my everything.” He ran a hand over his face, trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to spill.
Annabeth’s expression softened as she glanced at you, silently urging you to listen. Percy’s words were coming from the heart, and even she couldn’t deny the sincerity in his voice. But the pain in your eyes remained.
“When I first got there, I was barely conscious,” Percy continued, his voice softer now, tinged with a mix of sorrow and desperation. “I was so beaten up, so tired, and all I could do was mumble your name. Over and over, even in my sleep. She heard me say it—Calypso heard me calling out for you, asking for you.” He paused, swallowing hard. “She knew there was someone else. She knew how much I loved you. I made it clear, but I didn’t push her away fast enough. I was stupid, and I’m so sorry.”
You felt your heart twist at his confession, the image of Percy lying on that distant shore, broken and alone, but still calling out for you. It was the kind of story you had dreamed about before—the hero fighting impossible odds, returning home to the one he loved. But now, hearing it from his lips, the romance was stripped away, leaving only the raw truth of a mistake made in a vulnerable moment.
Annabeth cleared her throat, trying to diffuse the tension, but even she seemed at a loss. “Look,” she said gently, “what matters now is where you go from here. You two have been through worse together. If you still want this—if you still want each other—then you’ll find a way.”
Percy reached out again, hesitantly, his fingers brushing against yours. “I’m not perfect, M/N. I screw up, and I hurt you, but I want to make this right. I love you, and I’ll spend every day proving it if you’ll let me.”
Even if you forgive Percy, you take baby steps to rebuild your trust. You agree to talk more openly about your feelings and avoid keeping secrets from one another. Percy goes out of his way to make you feel valued, leaving you notes, planning small dates, and constantly reminding you how much you mean to him.
Percy knows he didn't only need to seek forgiveness from you, but your mother. To truly show his commitment, he request a chance to speak to the goddess. It’s terrifying—facing the goddess’s wrath head-on—but he humbly apologizes and explains how deeply he loves you, promising to never let you feel sidelined again. Demeter doesn’t forgive easily, but she appreciates Percy’s bravery and sincerity, granting her reluctant approval with a warning not to hurt her son again.
To solidify his commitment, Percy organizes a surprise picnic in the strawberry fields—your favorite spot. It’s filled with your favorite foods, and Percy shyly presents a flower crown he made himself, though it’s a little uneven. It’s simple but heartfelt, symbolizing his renewed promise to always cherish you.
After reconciling, you and Percy start talking about your future together, beyond Camp Half-Blood. You both decide that New Rome is the perfect place to build a life after everything you’ve been through. The idea of living among other demigods and having a peaceful life feels like a dream finally within reach.
The move to New Rome is filled with excitement and nerves. You find a cozy apartment together, and even simple things like grocery shopping or decorating the space feel like small adventures. It’s a fresh start, and every day feels like you’re building something new, hand in hand.
One evening after a particularly good day—whether it’s celebrating an exam passed or simply enjoying each other’s company—Percy gets down on one knee. He doesn’t have a grand speech prepared; he just tells you how much you mean to him and how he can’t imagine a life without you. The ring is simple, with a small gemstone that reminds you of the sea, and you say yes without hesitation.
