An informational comic I drew last year for my Comics 2 class, reposting it to my new account (had to jump ship from the old one unfortunately) with some minor grammar changes and learned my lesson in adding watermarks! Happy early pride :)

Lag is dead. long live the speed.
we used to wait. for apps to open. for screens to load. for taps to do something.
but not anymore. in 2025, speed isn’t a bonus—it’s the baseline. your users expect instant everything. and the fastest apps? they're not just fast—they feel alive.
optimize your load times. trim the fluff. cache like a pro. because lag is dead.
and speed? speed is the new king. 👑 To know more read our blog above...

When Pixels Meet Pirouettes: The Dizzying Dance of Digital Divas and Techno Twirlers
Ladies, gentlemen, and sentient smartphones, lend me your ears—or, you know, your Bluetooth earbuds! Gather 'round as we embark on a psychedelic voyage into the neon-lit vortex of digital performance art. Brace yourselves for a spectacle that makes a David Lynch film look like an episode of "Sesame Street." Imagine, if you will, a stage where humans tango with technology, creating a spectacle so surreal it could make Salvador Dalí’s mustache twitch with envy.
Our tale begins in a parallel universe where Shakespearean thespians and TikTok influencers join forces, conjuring up a dazzling display of digital sorcery. Here, projection mapping isn’t just for fancy building facades; it's the wizardry that transforms bland backdrops into a vortex of visual vomit. You’re no longer in Kansas, dear Dorothy; you’re in a digital wonderland where pixels prance like caffeinated unicorns.
Now, picture this: a lithe ballerina gracefully leaping across the stage, her every move shadowed by a digital avatar. This isn’t your grandma’s hologram of Tupac; it’s a fully interactive digital doppelgänger, capable of pirouetting in perfect synchrony with our human performer. The avatar, let’s call her Digi-Diva, isn’t just mimicking movements; she’s reading the ballerina's every twitch and twerk, thanks to the marvels of motion capture technology. It’s as if a Fitbit and a PlayStation had a lovechild and named it "Art."
This isn’t just a gimmick—oh no, this is a revolution in the realm of technology and art. Picture a world where Beyoncé’s backup dancers are half-human, half-digital, and all fabulous. These avatars are not confined to the mundane laws of physics; they can leap higher than a kangaroo on a pogo stick and contort like a contortionist in a Salvador Dalí painting. The human performer, bless their analog heart, is no longer constrained by the limitations of mere flesh and bone. They’ve got a digital wingman, and together, they’re breaking the fourth wall with the subtlety of a sledgehammer.
But let’s dive deeper into this rabbit hole of techno-twiddling and avatar antics. Projection mapping isn’t just for creating trippy backdrops; it's for transforming the very essence of the stage. One moment, it’s a serene forest; the next, it’s a post-apocalyptic wasteland where even Mad Max would need a GPS. And the best part? These digital landscapes react to the performers in real-time. Step on a virtual twig, and it snaps; breathe on a holographic flower, and it blooms. This is interactive software on steroids, my friends, where the stage is a living, breathing organism, as unpredictable as a cat meme.
Now, let’s not forget our beloved motion capture technology. Remember when it was just for creating lifelike video game characters and resurrecting dead celebrities for awkward commercials? Ha! Those were simpler times. Today, motion capture suits are the haute couture of digital performance art. Imagine a dancer donned in a skin-tight suit covered in tiny sensors, looking like an escapee from a high-tech disco. Every move they make is captured, translated, and amplified by their digital counterpart. It’s as if Michael Jackson’s moonwalk and a glitch in the Matrix had a baby and taught it ballet.
But what’s a performance without a bit of audience participation? Enter interactive software, the pièce de résistance of our digital performance art extravaganza. In this brave new world, the audience isn’t just a passive observer; they’re an active participant, like contestants on a weirdly avant-garde game show. Imagine a theater where your smartphone isn’t just a distraction; it’s a tool. Scan a QR code, download an app, and suddenly, you’re controlling elements of the performance. Want the stage to turn into a fiery inferno? Swipe right. Prefer a serene underwater scene? Swipe left. It’s Tinder for stage design, and it’s as chaotic and hilarious as it sounds.
And let’s not even start on the performers themselves. These digital avatars aren’t just mindless clones; they’ve got personalities, sass, and more attitude than a Real Housewife of the Metaverse. They can interact with the audience, make snarky comments, and even throw shade at the human performers. It’s like watching a roast battle where one of the contestants is a sentient GIF.
As we wade through this kaleidoscopic circus of bytes and ballet, one must ponder the deeper implications. Are we witnessing the birth of a new art form, or just the fever dream of a coder who’s had one too many energy drinks? Is this the next evolution of theater, or just an elaborate excuse for tech geeks to show off their latest toys? The answer, my dear Watsons, is both and neither. It’s a beautiful, bewildering mess—a digital Dadaist delight that defies categorization.
But let’s not kid ourselves. This fusion of technology and art isn’t just about pushing boundaries; it’s about smashing them to smithereens and then using the pieces to build a cybernetic sculpture of a dancing llama. It’s about taking the mundane and making it magnificent, the ordinary and making it extraordinary. It’s about creating a world where the lines between reality and virtuality blur, and where anything is possible—even a dance-off between a human and their holographic twin.
So, next time you find yourself at a performance that’s part Shakespearean soliloquy, part TikTok dance challenge, and part acid trip, remember this: You’re not just watching a show; you’re witnessing the future. A future where technology and art are not just intertwined but doing the cha-cha on a stage of infinite possibilities. And as you sit there, bewildered and bemused, just remember—you’re part of the show too. Welcome to the wild, wacky, and wonderful world of digital performance art. It’s not just a performance; it’s a phenomenon. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a date with a digital diva and a projection-mapped paradise.

How would I describe girlhood?
Dance, dress up, lie in bed, bake, isolate, yearn, clean, explore, blankets, candles, validation, cry, scream, kiss a friend, gut wrenching films, miscellaneous trinkets and wall decor, hangover, social anxiety, sunbathe, laugh, hold someone, be held, run away, unfinished books, sing, crushes are hell, stickers, parental issues, sexual trauma, pink, nostalgia, matching pjs, smell good, fear the calorie, fall in love with anything and everything, break your own heart, grow your hair long, cut it short. Who are you?

The Yiling Band Tour!
#poorly drawn mdzs#mdzs#wei wuxian#wen qing#wen ning#digital art#animation#This was a fun style experiment and a good lesson in 'hey you have less than a week to make this project. You cannot be a perfectionist'.#Right now - posting these slightly upgraded frames is really helping me stay motivated through the learning grind.#But progress is happening! I'm so excited to show it off when it's done!#Someone with a very discerning eye might be able to figure out what I'm doing with just this one frame. I will take the risk.#That aside; I often think about how the nature of cultivators in MDZS's world also entailed knowing about other art forms.#Meaning that Wen Qing and Wen Ning likely were good musicians and artists.#We know WWX is also good in art and music so...really...what was stopping them from forming a band?#Allow me to pitch this AU: Yiling Opera company AU. WWX and the Wen remnants form a performing trope and tour towns and cities.#Not only do they find a way to keep on the move (no home...only the road and the people around you).#But you also get to be in costume - which is a socially appropriate way to always be in disguise.#Yiling Laozu would thus be a character and/or WWX's stage name.#Would he be good at keeping it a secret? Hard to say with WWX! I think it would be a poorly-kept secret at best.#He likes to brag and show off a bit too much. This many would be either the worst or best spy.#Consider the drama of JC losing his mind over his ex-brother becoming a clown. Imagine JC Getting his ass kicked by said clown.#Imagine the delectable secret identity drama potential of Lan Wangji stumbling upon the trope's performances.#We did not get nearly enough of the secret identiy drama in MDZS canon. I need more of it.#I need that man conflicted with his feelings for the same person. I need them playing mind games with each other at all times.

I think a lot about how Worker ENA's outfit was inspired by a kids edutainment show, and am surprised no one has played with that idea! I'LL DO WHAT I MUST.
ENA and Froggy are roommates, and both are cast in this kids show, lots of dancing and musical numbers and keeping fit, etc. Coral is like. stage director/some sort of middle managerial position tasked with keeping things running smoothly. Generally does well but has to get on Ena for her silly antics holding up production. (or getting on her case for trying to push through a health flare up. ENA sounds difficult to work with.)
