wednesdays are one of the most frustrating days to work for me because its seniors day so a shit ton of the customers are boomers & while theyre usually pretty polite, they never fucking put shit back where they got it from. like?? how hard is it to pick something up, go "oh i dont want this" and then put it back where you just grabbed it from??

they amount of stuff i find tossed in behind displays because they cant be arsed to put shit back makes me crazy

"In July of 1992 the band made their first trek to Japan for a headlining tour. There were dates in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya. Every show sold out and the fans were amazing. Traditionally, Japanese fans stay in their seats and show their appreciation by clapping, but Pantera’s infectious “power” metal had the crowds on their feet at every show.

To liven up the backstage hours before the band hit the stage, we did a bunch of portrait sessions using Japanese props and signage.

We also discovered Kirin and Asahi beer on this trip. The best part was that they sold small "pony" kegs in vending machines on the street. Any time we ventured out of our hotel, we’d load up to bring back to our rooms. One night, we were riding back to our hotel in a cab when we spied a beer vending machine at an intersection and attempted to hop out of the cab. Our cabbie thought we were skipping out on the fare and freaked, but we somehow convinced him to pull over so we could stock up."

Whoops, i dropped my tablet, but it has a thick case designed to protect it. Hopefully, when i open it back up, it'll be fine.

The worst part is that i could keep using it. The pikels are dead, but any buttons underneath still work, but it's just enough space to be massively inconvinient.

Downtown makeover - Fresh Rush Crosery I so happy I finished this before xmas!! Little xmas presentt!!

I started making this so long ago, but struggled with the insides. I wanted this to still have the huge store vibes, but tbo it's actually really small store. Also sims will sadly just watch tv using the "self chekout". Also the chairs in the breack room are purely decorative so sims might complain if they happen to route there to sit. The lambs are floating because of the high seiling... but let's ignore that <.<' .

Most of the pictures where taken before I really was done with this so there is some edits in the flower coner. It has seperate picture down the cut.

It’s CC free!! no IKEA (placement of the perfume display will look odd without the perfume dislay default) !!!

BG3 Character profile for Altavir! :D

I saw different artists making different variants of this idea but I had the thought of using it to dislay some of the evolution/changes of the character from the begining of the adventure vs the end of it (and also make use of that "what would be the quest name of your Tav if they were like an origin character" idea)

What happened to make Altavir so different from his beginging? Stay tunned, I'm writtint all of it xD

"Babski wieczór" Marcin Mortka

Ocena: 5 / 5

Sara Kociołkowa to niedoceniana bohaterka sagi o Kociołku. Ta charakterna, silna kobieta pojawia się rzadko, zwykle na początku lub pod koniec każdej książki, ale jej obecność czuje się na każdej stronie, bo i jej mąż nigdy o niej nie zapomina. Jego czułe listy i wieczny niepokój o rodzinę to jedna z największych zalet tego cyklu.

W „Babskim wieczorze” Sara może wreszcie lśnić, nie przyćmiona przez swojego męża. Opowiadanie rozgrywa się na przestrzeni jednej nocy, którą Kociołek spędza na biwaku z dziećmi, a jego kompani na przeróżnych wyprawach. Sara jest w Gryfie sama… dopóki nie dołączają do niej księżna Yanna, jej bratanica Matylda i Dislai, kapłanka Doli. To co rozpoczyna się jak przyjemny wieczór w gronie znajomych, przybiera jednak nieoczekiwany obrót.

„Babski wieczór” to opowiadanie o kobietach i relacjach między nimi. Ma szczątkową fabułę, ale to akurat w niczym nie przeszkadza, bo Marcin Mortka bardzo dobrze pisze kobiety. Każda z nich ma niepowtarzalny charakter, jest pełna zalet i wad i przede wszystkim bardzo ludzka. Interakcje między nimi także wypadają bardzo realistycznie. Dzięki temu „Babski wieczór” to po prostu świetna rozrywka, pełna śmiechu i radości z przebywania z tymi ciekawymi postaciami.

Opowiadanie ma bardzo kociołkową atmosferę  i idealnie nadaje się na przeczekanie do następnego tomu. Na pewno będę też do niego wracać, by ponownie spędzić wieczór w towarzystwie fajnych dziewczyn z uniwersum Kociołka. A co do punktu widzenia Sary, bardzo chętnie poczytałabym o niej więcej, bo przecież jej życie w karczmie z pewnością jest równie ciekawe co przygody Edmunda i jego kompanii.

Na koniec chciałabym dodać, że po raz pierwszy słuchałam książki z serii o Kociołku w formie audiobooka i jestem zachwycona czytającym go Filipem Kosiorem, który radzi sobie wprost brawurowo i mistrzowsko zmienia głos czytając każdą z bohaterek.

Ale to tylko moja opinia, a ja nie jestem obiektywna

I went back to my concept and refined the core of it to have a clear vision for the central space. I understood that I wanted a to talk about the obsolescence of the pieces, that it is kind of like a cemetery of aircrafts but that I find a poetic beauty into that. I decided to get my inspiration from the movie Porco Rosso (which I mentioned as part of my aerospace encounter) and this scene where there is a white line in the sky that you don't really get until the main character gets closer. Then you realize that it is a cemetery of war airplanes that got destroyed and now unify as a floaty white dust line in the sky. With the glass panels that I want to reuse, I can recreate a similar impression for the exhibition and get that floaty effect for the pieces. I also got confident in my choice of having a vintage wing above the dislays to remind of that outdated era. Then I tried the make it organized as much as possible first on Illustrator and then in Rhino.
