Damian has fought clones of himself before. He’s aware, on an abstract level, that that implies the League has the technology to clone other people too.
But that didn’t make seeing what looked to be a teenage clone of his mother running around any less strange.
Especially since the girl—Ellie, as she’d apparently dubbed herself—was so unlike his mother.
She was a chaotic mess of energy, meandering around the world wherever her whims would take her, often with seemingly barely a thought to hiding herself. Hell, she’d straight up admitted she was a clone at one point! And yet she possessed powers the League would have killed to have.
He was immensely curious about how she came to be like this. Her freedom had to have been hard-fought, right? But he still wasn’t quite sure how to broach the topic with her. She seems nice, sure, but he doesn’t know how sensitive the matter is, and he’d rather not chance her attacking him or vanishing again without answers.

Danny and Damian are related, with a twist.
Danny is the son of Talia Al Ghul, however he is NOT the son of Bruce Wayne. Ra’s has had his eyes on various people across the world that have either impressed him or show a unique skill set that he’d like to have. One such person was under the both categories and he got Talia to collect a DNA sample and as a result Danny was born.
This was before Bruce’s time with the League by a few years, but very quickly Danny was not meeting expectations. And by the time Bruce did show up Ra’s had lost all interest in Danny, moving on to better things.
Talia always hated Danny because she was forced to have him with a man who she never liked in the first place. Furthermore, because his skillset was lacking she found that even more reason for her distain. In her eyes, he wasn’t worth even considering her blood.
Danny, knowing that he was doomed if he didn’t make an escape, left the league sometime around when Bruce was moving up the ranks and was making waves within the organization. Perfect timing honestly, any attention he might have had was quickly gone when this prodigy showed up.
Danny escaped the League and went into hiding quickly after, settling on a rural area of the United States after bouncing around countries for a few months. This was mainly because Jasmine Fenton saw a young boy pick pocketing strangers while her family was visiting Chicago and scolded him. Her mother and father saw the boy and also lectured him to which Danny responded it was his only option (he was trying to get this loud family off his back so he could sneak away). Eventually the Fentons decide that if he has nowhere to go he might as well go with us, and Danny decides blending in with a Nuclear Family is the best way to ensure that his peaceful life away from the League stays that way. Oh how little did he know.
Flash forward a few years, Talia, who was visiting Gotham to check on Damian, sees a glimpse of a boy (now man) she thought she had forgotten. Her blood runs cold, if this abomination is in Gotham then her son is likely in danger and she would never let anything happen to Damian.

After sending the cultist to hell, the ghost king transforms into a teenager. Danny Fenton
Huh, he could work with this. Billy transforms as well.
They start working together to find a way to break off the marriage. There isn’t one. They are stuck together. And because both of them have enemies, they can’t exactly tell people that they’re married
Eventually, they learn to like each more than friends. One day, Marvel is in a meeting and someone asks him what he’s doing after work,

Everywhere but home.
The Anti-Ecto Acts applied only to North America.
The USA and Canada both permitted the capture, experimentation, and termination of ecto entities.
One night, after weeks of being constantly hunted down, Danny decided it was time to leave the continent.
At first, he was terrified.
He didn’t even need false documentation, since the GIW wasn’t looking for his human identity, and Jazz helped him get everything he needed.
He… didn’t even have to buy a flight or something, since his speed could get him anywhere.
So, a bit anxiously, he traveled down to South America.
He had a pretty good time!
People were friendly and welcoming, excited to share the beauty they had with them and Danny found himself so much more interested in other cultures.
Being surrounded by languages, Spanish, Portuguese, and even some Indigenous ones became much easier to learn.
Traveling around wasn’t a problem, he often found people happy to take him in for a shower and a meal.
It wasn’t safe all the time, but it wasn’t because he was a ghost, which was somehow nicer.
With much less anxiety, he started to travel even more.
Africa was the obvious choice since it was the closest continent.
The main cities were rich with people and modern buildings, making him feel a bit out of place like he was in a cleaner version of Hollywood.
Going away from touristy sites, everything started to become more bare, the people still welcoming, but weary of noisy strangers. Wich was understandable, so next came Asia, then Europe, Australia, and Antarctica.
By the time Danny was in his twenties, he had pretty much visited almost every country on Earth.
He was having fun, he really was, but in every new country he visited, he was reminded how much he wished he was waking up in his bed, spending the days with his family and friends.
Once, he met a guy in London, whose soul looked like Swiss cheese, that he helped with some ghost stuff. He was recognized as from America, so he explained what he was doing all the way in England. Apparently, the guy had connections with the Justice League and promised to help.
At several spots, he even met with Dani. Every time they saw each other, they remembered that, even if it was so diverse, the World was still very small.
He was in South Italy when his phone rang.
It wasn’t hard to keep in touch with his friends and family, sending them photos or even packages of stuff he found traveling.
He answered Jazz, as she started to cry happily about the Anti-Ecto Acts being revoked.
He… hadn’t actually believed Jonh.
His mind was blank, with her sister excitedly talking over the phone.
After five years.
He could go back home.

I love it when there's choas that most associate with Dan, Dani, and Danny.
___
Dan, Dani and Danny just finished a meeting with the Justice League (with the YJL on the side lines just being nosey) to talk about alliances between the League and the Phantoms.
Superman: Phantom.
Dan, Dani and Danny: Yes.
Flash: Wait, you're all Phantom?
Dani: Yeah, it's our family name, duh.
Superman: We prefer to work with the eldest Phantom-
Danny, who still looks the same age he died but is actually 15: That would be me.
Everyone is shocked.
Dan, scoffed: We're ghosts, our physical age doesn't reflect our actual ages.
Kid Flash: Wait, how old are you guys?
Dan: 4 years old.
Dani: 6 months old.
Dan: Baby-
Dani just stuck out her tongue.
Danny: I'm 15.
Robin: But you show up throughout history?
Danny: I do odd jobs for the ghost of time.
Green Latern: We'll circle back to that later. So, how are you guys related?
Dan: We're the same person.
JL + YJL: Wha-?
Dan: Me and her are variations of that one.
Batman: Elaborate.
Dan: I'm from another timeline that doesn't exist anymore.
Dani: I'm his clone!
Danny: And I'm just Danny.
Flash: Didn't you call her your cousin? Wouldn't she be your daughter?
Danny: It's interchangeable, we change what we call each other everyday. Sometimes I'm their brother, cousin or parent. Which one depends on the day.
Dan: We honestly don't care.
Flash: Since you're from a destroyed timeline, wouldn't she also be your clone too?
Dan: Naw, it's a little more complex than that.
Dani: He's actually combined ghosts of Danny and Plasmius combined with Danny's memories. In hindsight, that makes him their child. Which means we're actually full siblings.
Danny: Which is weird since Plasmius is actually an old man with an unhealthy obsession with my mom and me. He was my parents' college friend and is my godfather and arch nemesis.
Kid Flash: ... There is so many things wrong with that statement.
Danny: And that's why we call him a fruitloop.
Aqualad: There seems to be an issue with archnemesises cloning their hero counterparts.
Dani, squealing: THERES ANOTHER CLONE!!
Superboy: Hi.
Dani, suddenly in Superboy's face: Mom, look! He can pass off as one of us.
Robin: That makes no sense, he has blue eyes and black hair, you have white hair and green eyes.
All three Phantoms, with an inhumanly large and toothy grin, turned human: You sure 'bout that?
Batman: You have human disguises?
Danny: Sure, we'll go with that.
Dani, on Superboy's back: Can we keep him?
Dan: He'll fit right in.
Danny: Superman is his dad-
Superman, bristling: Its not my son.
The Phantoms just stare at him:...
Danny: No.
JL: ??
Dan: I won't make a mess.
JL, confused: ??
Dani: I'll help with clean up.
JL, concerned: !?!?
Danny: No, now help me convince Superboy to join our fraid.

Protecting Family
Hmmm
I'm on a Danny is Dick's child kick rn so I'm making more.
But lets add in some Ghost King Danny!, Dad to a deaged Ellie and Dan! And toddler Mar'i Grayson.
Danny was conceived during Dick's amnesia year when he was Ric and the woman couldn't find him to tell him (or maybe the Owls caught wind of the pregnancy and took her) and he ended up somehow (hmmm maybe a meddling time keeper?) with the Fentons.
Danny grows as a Fenton, he knows he was adopted btw, then becomes Phantom, protects Amity, becomes the Ghost King and things seem to be going okay between Amity Parkers and the Infinite Realms since they took care of the GIW problem, AND has been a good doting teen dad to his deaged 'cousins/clones' turned kids.
Danny was going to go pick his kids up from daycare one day when CHAOS happens. Just as he wrangles Ellie onto his shoulders, cause she wants to be tall today, and about to take Dan's hand cause he's and I quote "A big boy and not a baby like Ellie, Dad!" he suddenly feels the tug of his family being in danger.
Thing is, its a blood related danger. Meaning someone blood related to him was in grave danger, and by the emotions he can feel, its someone young, way younger than him.
Problem.
The only people Danny knows with his blood in their veins and are young enough for the feeling are with him.
So who?
But due to Danny being a protector spirit AND knowing the feeling is from someone as young as his own kids, Danny decides to use his Ghost King Powers to summon said person from the danger to him.
Danny opens his free arms out just as a tiny toddler with black hair like his own but with bright green eyes, even the sclera were green, in a ruined party dress drops from the sky from the summoning circle that had opened above him.
Danny stares at the terrified child, whose hands are tied by rope and was crying, and takes notes of certain traits she had that he saw every time in the mirror or on his own kids, same eye shape and cheekbones. He can tell his ghost core has claimed her as family but not as his kid though.
No the connection that formed was almost like his connection with Jazz but a bit stronger.
This kid, was his sister. His blood related one.
-Meanwhile-
Dick Grayson, aka Nightwing, and his family were freaking the fuck out.
Dick was already panicked when his daughter Mar'i had gotten kidnapped just a few hours ago by the Joker.
Now he was feeling pure dread when his daughter, who was about to be killed, was suddenly pulled into a strange glowing circle at the last minute and disappeared into thin air.

The Phantom Triplets open a cafe in Gotham
they all take turns as cashier so they can mess with Karens
Danny works as cook, Danny fills the food he makes with passion to give people warm feelings of home and love, while also providing motivation and confidence to do the thing
Dani is in charge of the coffee, filling it with energy and excitement rather than caffeine, effectively creating a healthy coffee, with all the good flavor, and wakefulness you want, and none of the bad effects as the energy wears off gradually
Dan is in charge of pastries and bread, he loves absolutely pounding the bread as well as rolling it out, it’s therapeutic, he fills everything he makes with just a little bit of rage so that the flavor can still be exciting every time you eat it
they are all very much gremlins, but also very nice, like a group of crows you befriended, they will absolutely rock the shit of any rouge that tries to attack their cafe or any regulars of theirs
They could also be the batfam’s favorites, or their worst enemies, cause they’re offering cheap, tasty, healthy food, and feeding the poor, but also refusing to elaborate on how
Red Hood loves them though, since they all hate the Joker with a burning passion, are doing this out of the goodness of their hearts, aren’t a front, and love to mess with Batman whenever they get a chance

Glow stick Danny
Danny, Dani, and Conner were all hanging out in the Young Justice tower. Danny and Dani were new editions; only there for a month
Mom and dad had found out about his powers, and actually took them reallly well, even if they were horrified about what they said and planned about Phantom: being Live Vivisected does hurt, after all.
They urged Danny to join the young justice, even going as far as flagging Superman down, who was flying over their city, coming back from a trip, to convince him: Danny was embarrassed, and still can’t look him in the eye.
A few weeks later; Dani shows up, and it’s revealed that she’s Danny’s clone; essentially his daughter. Superman fought for her to stay away, but Danny is now bitter because of Superman’s words about clones and such, and said he will leave the team right there, right now if Dani gets removed or kicked out. So, Batman allows her to stay, and join the team in order to learn how to control her powers better.
And that’s where we are now.
Dani is regaling tales of when the two first met to Conner, who is fascinated and slightly jealous that the two have as good of a relationship as they do.
And then the power goes out. Dani sighs and turns to her template using her puppy eyes to get what she wants. Danny sighs and stands up, leans halfway backwards, all the way until his back pops and does a little bit of a shimmy before a bright green glow Emmits from his stomach
“Happy now?” He asks, amused and exsasperated. Dani thumbs up, sitting real close to
(I imagine Dani scared of the dark, because it looks similar to Vlad’s lab at night, and that brings her mind back to being in his clutches)
Conner Freaks.
“What?! Huh?! Danny what happened?? What did you do?!”
“I became a glow stick”/“he became a glow stick”
Conners eyes went wider than saucers; and suddenly the whole tower shook at his voice boomed “WHAT?!?”

Dani, as a rule, tries to avoid hospitals. Bad memories all around. So whenever she gets injured on her wanderings, she patches herself up.
Unfortunately, even if her powers mean she can generally walk off her injuries, she’s not the best at cleaning up the aftermath. And random pools of blood are the opposite of inconspicuous.
People notice, and the blood gets tested to try to find any clues. The results aren’t always super clear—there’s some sort of foreign substance interfering with the tests—but gradually they piece together to form a more complete idea of her genes.
And then, Bruce Wayne gets a message.
He’s a probable genetic match to a series of strange bloodstains found across multiple countries.
Bloodstains mixed with a glowing green substance resembling Lazarus Water.
Did Talia hide a second assassin child from him?

Bruce has another kid........but this one is not adopted #2
Danny lounged on the couch in the Batcave, his feet propped up as he casually flipped through some of Bruce’s files. Damian stood nearby, arms crossed, scowling.
“It doesn’t matter,” Damian huffed. “I am Father’s heir. It is my birthright.”
Danny smirked, glancing at him over the top of the tablet. “Hate to break it to you, little bro, but I’m older. By all of three minutes, but hey, it still counts.”
“You have no proof,” Damian snapped, his voice sharp.
“Actually,” Tim interjected, walking in with a file in hand, “it’s right here. Clockwork dropped the records off yesterday. Danny’s technically the firstborn.”
Damian’s face twisted into a mix of shock and outrage. “This is preposterous! I trained for years in the League to be the heir. He—” Damian gestured at Danny, who was now grinning smugly, “—is a half-ghost nomad raised by peasants!”
“Whoa, peasants?” Danny said, holding up his hands. “I’ll have you know I was raised by two highly educated ghost hunters who built portals to alternate dimensions in their basement. So technically, I was raised by nerds.”
Jason, leaning against the wall, barked out a laugh. “This just keeps getting better.”
Things escalated when Danielle made her debut in Gotham. She’d been causing a bit of chaos in Amity Park, and Danny figured bringing her to the Manor might help her channel her energy.
When Dani strutted into the Batcave, grinning like a gremlin with her wild energy, the reactions were... mixed.
“She’s my clone,” Danny explained, his tone casual. “But I kinda see her more like a daughter.”
“Daughter?” Damian repeated, his voice low and dangerous. “You... have a daughter?”
Dani, ever the instigator, threw her arms around Danny’s waist. “Yup! My Dad’s the best!” she chirped, shooting a cheeky grin at Damian. “He’s way cooler than you, by the way.”
Damian bristled, his hands curling into fists. “You’re barely older than me, yet you have already claimed an heir?” His voice trembled with a mix of indignation and something close to panic.
Danny raised an eyebrow. “She’s not an ‘heir.’ She’s just... Dani. And technically, she’s my clone, not my biological kid. It’s complicated.”
But Damian was already lost in his own spiraling thoughts.
Late that night, Damian approached Jason. “Todd,” he said, his tone serious. “I require your assistance.”
Jason blinked. “Uh, with what?”
“I must find a suitable candidate to bear my child.”
Jason stared at him for a long moment before bursting into laughter. “You’re joking. Please tell me you’re joking.”
“I am not,” Damian replied, his expression unyielding. “If Daniel has already produced a successor, then I must act swiftly to secure my own lineage.”
Jason clutched his stomach, wheezing. “Oh, man, this is rich. Demon Spawn wants to have a baby just to one-up his ghost brother.”
“It is not a matter of one-upmanship,” Damian insisted, though the faint pink tinge in his cheeks said otherwise.
The next morning, Danny caught wind of Damian’s... ambition. He found his younger twin in the training room, furiously sparring with a practice dummy.
“Hey, Dames,” Danny said, leaning against the doorframe.
“Do not call me that,” Damian growled, landing a particularly vicious strike on the dummy.
Danny held up his hands. “Okay, okay. But I heard a little rumor. Something about you wanting to, uh, find a lady to have a kid with?”
Damian froze mid-strike, then turned to glare at Danny. “Who told you that?”
Danny smirked. “Doesn’t matter. Look, man, you don’t need to go all ‘League heir’ about this. Dani’s not my biological kid. She’s a clone. Like, literally made from my DNA. I didn’t exactly sign up for the whole ‘parent’ thing—it just kinda happened.”
Damian’s glare softened slightly, though his posture remained stiff. “And yet, you claim her as your own.”
“Yeah, because she’s family,” Danny said simply. “She needed someone, so I stepped up. That’s what family does.”
Damian lowered his gaze, his fists unclenching. “I see.”
A few weeks later, Talia’s clone assassins made their move. But instead of eliminating them, Damian captured and brought them to the Manor.
“Father,” he declared, standing proudly before Bruce, “I have decided to take responsibility for these clones. They are my family, and I will train them to uphold the legacy of the League.”
Bruce pinched the bridge of his nose. “Damian—”
“Not bad, kid,” Jason said, clapping him on the back. “But you might want to workshop the pitch. Sounds a little murder-y.”
Tim groaned. “Great. Now we have more mini-Damians running around.”
Danny, watching from the sidelines with Dani by his side, couldn’t help but laugh. “Guess I’m rubbing off on him.”
“You think he’s doing this to one-up you?” Dani asked.
“Absolutely,” Danny replied, grinning. “And I love it.”
While the Bat-family adjusted to the sudden influx of clones, Danny and Damian’s relationship began to shift. Though their rivalry remained, it was tempered by a growing mutual respect.
“I still do not approve of your cavalier attitude,” Damian said one night as they patrolled Gotham together.
“And I still think you need to loosen up,” Danny shot back.
Damian huffed but didn’t argue. Deep down, he was starting to appreciate having an older brother who wasn’t afraid to challenge him—or support him.
And for Danny, seeing his once-distant twin slowly open up was worth all the sibling squabbles in the world.

Daddy's Girl Part 3
Title: A Royal Thank You
The Justice League had barely caught their breath.
In the days following the rooftop incident, Earth had seen a seismic shift in ghost-related politics. With the Ghost King’s declaration echoing through both the Realms and Earth’s dimension, the Guys in White found themselves publicly exposed, internationally condemned, and—thanks to the League’s swift action—systematically dismantled.
Every black site was raided.
Every illegally detained ghost or hybrid was freed.
And every dirty record connected to the GIW’s shadowy ops was handed over to the UN’s paranormal oversight committee, now assisted by a rather smug Constantine and a very pleased Martian Manhunter.
But amid the diplomacy, legal dismantling, and fallout from Phantom’s appearance, one thing stood out in Dani’s mind:
They tried to help her.
Even when they didn’t know who she was, even when she was just a scared girl in pain—they came.
Back in the Ghost Zone, Dani tapped her foot impatiently as she floated near the central portal hub of the citadel.
“Are you sure this is a good idea?” Danny asked from behind her, arms crossed but not unsupportive. “You know Batman’s gonna be suspicious the moment you show up.”
Dani grinned. “Suspicious? Please. I’m adorable.”
Danny narrowed his eyes. “You say that like he doesn’t carry Kryptonite and a backup plan to take down literal gods.”
“I’m a thank-you card with legs,” she said, puffing her chest with pride. “I’m just gonna pop in, say thanks, and not let Batman scare me into bolting. Easy.”
Danny smiled softly, pride obvious in his glowing eyes. “You’re really okay?”
She floated backward and tapped her chest. “Core’s solid. Healed up. Got some wicked scars—might glam them up later. But yeah, I’m okay.”
Danny hesitated. Then leaned forward and kissed the top of her head.
She blinked. “Okay, that’s new.”
He shrugged, sheepish. “You called me Daddy. I’m gonna be annoying about it for a while.”
“Yeah, yeah…” she muttered, cheeks red. “Alright, open the portal before I lose my nerve.”
Watchtower – Justice League Central Command
The team was mid-briefing when a soft hum filled the room—faintly green, faintly cold. Instantly, Batman and Superman straightened. Wonder Woman reached instinctively for her lasso.
A portal spiraled open just above the conference table.
And Dani floated through, hands up in surrender.
“Okay, okay! Peace! I swear!”
Hal Jordan raised an eyebrow. “Oh, it’s the ghost kid. Wait—are you the scary one or the adorable one?”
“Depends on the day,” she said, smirking. “Today’s adorable, promise.”
Dani touched down lightly on the table, then reached into her jacket and pulled out a folded piece of paper. It shimmered faintly with ecto-energy and bore the Ghost King’s seal in soft silver.
“I, Danielle Phantom—heir of the Ghost King and officially Not Screaming Anymore—just wanted to say… thank you. For trying to help me.”
There was a pause. Diana stepped forward first, her eyes soft.
“We were too slow,” she said gently.
“You came,” Dani replied, shrugging. “That’s what matters. A lot of people don’t.”
She handed the letter to Superman, who looked surprised but touched as he took it carefully.
“It’s got King stuff in it too,” she added. “Like, Danny made it all official with thanks from the Realms. I didn’t read that part. It’s got too many fancy words and titles like ‘Defenders of the Mortal Gate’ or something. But I made sure it also includes drawings of you all as ghosts. In crayon.”
Flash perked up. “Wait, me as a ghost?”
“I gave you a cape.”
“I don’t wear a cape!”
“Now you do.”
Batman stared at her, arms crossed, unreadable.
Dani stared right back.
“…You remind me of someone,” he said at last.
“Yikes. That better be a compliment.”
To everyone's shock, Batman gave the barest twitch of a smile.
Dani grinned wider. “Well, I should go. My dad’s waiting and he gets twitchy when I’m gone too long. He’s still new to the whole ‘terrifying ghost father thing.’”
“I can relate,” Superman muttered.
Dani floated back toward the portal.
Then she paused and looked over her shoulder.
“I hope I never need saving again. But if I do… thanks for being the kind of people who’d show up anyway.”
And with a final flash of light, she was gone.
The room was silent for a moment.
Flash blinked. “So we’re friends with the Ghost King now, right?”
“More like allies,” Batman said.
Superman smiled faintly. “And we’ve got the official ghost crayon drawings to prove it.”
Wonder Woman nodded. “A kingdom of the dead just thanked us. I’d say that’s a day well spent.”

When You Accidentally Kill a Clown pt 14.
Pt.1 pt.13 Ao3
------
Jason had alot on his mind.
For starters, apparently his boyfriend had a kid, which, great! She seemed awesome and that was totally okay. But then there were the concerning things he had overheard from the phone call. Like the bit about cloning, which would make Dani- well at least it was somewhat better than the alternative. Suffice to say, he and Danny had alot to talk about later.
All this had led to the very strong urge to find this 'Vlad' character and shoot him where it hurt. (Well it would probably hurt no matter where he shot him but the point still stands.)
Luckily, Jason didn't have to spend long trying to hide this fury before getting an alert from Oracle about some super-powered lunatic tearing up the upper east side. Now that usually wouldn't be his problem, but beating up bad guys is, shockingly, a really good stress relief, so he took the out.
Hopefully Danny didn't take him leaving so suddenly the wrong way.
Unfortunately, Jason didn't really have the mental bandwidth to actually think all these thoughts while also getting shot at by a green floating maniac.
"Oracle, please tell me you have something on this guy, I'm almost out of tricks," he yelled, not waiting to watch the round he unloaded sail right through the guy, before diving behind a half melted car.
"Tt, you may be out of tricks, Todd, but I am not," Robin called as he vaulted over Hood's makeshift shelter. Giving him a satisfying view when seconds later he sailed back overhead and crashed into a storefront, as a chorus of, "Names, Robin," crackled over the intercomm.
"Lucky shot," he grumbled, stumbling over to Jason who had to stifle a laugh at how the kid's face was scrunched up in annoyance. "Not a word. Oracle?"
"Sorry boys, nothing yet. I'll keep trying but all I'm hitting are dead ends."
Robin scrunched up his nose and sighed in annoyance, "So what's the plan then?" He asked.
Hood was about to snap back that 'how should he know' when someone else spoke.
"The plan is: you focus on getting civilians out of the way while we take out big, mean, and corrosive over there." Okay, Red Hood would never admit that he jumped, but to be fair, Robin did too. The voice had come from directly over his shoulder and no one should be able to sneak up on two trained vigilantes that easily. Especially not Damian.
They turned in unison to find two floating teenagers, no more than 17 and 13 each, with floating white hair, and green, green eyes. They were nearly identical, all the way down to the black and silver jumpsuits emblazoned with a flaming D insignia, or were they p's? It was hard to tell.
They were clearly heros of a sort, but Jason didn't recognize them so they were either really small time and in Gotham for a visit, or they chose the wrong city to jumpstart their heroing careers.
"Why are you dressed like a traffic light?" The younger one asked, blowing and popping a blindingly pink bubble as she floated closer to Robin, "I thought the bats were supposed to be discreet."
"That's none of your business," demon Brat growled, "Touch me and you're dead." The girl's hand paused, halfway outstretched toward Robin's cape. She didn't back off, though, until he pulled a birdarang.
"Woah there," she said, holding up her hands and floating backwards as if to calm him, "You're a little late on the dead part, but let's go easy on the knives, eh?"
The guy, now standing next to Hood as he watched the scene play out, snickered.
Robin scowled, "Who are you?"
The guy beamed and raised his hand like he was waiting to be called on in class. "Ooh! I know this one! Uh, hi, my name's Phantom," he gestured grandly to himself and, grinning, took a small bow, and that's Stray," he continued, "We are ghosts, like you, but we're here to help with that." He finished off the whole thing by pointing at the guy stomping around the streets and shooting acid.
The little one- Stray- nodded and popped another bubble. "Yeah, basically, our job is to beat up the ghosts who escape the zone and cause mayhem. We're just cool like that. But don't worry, y'all aren't causing to many issues so you're good."
"We are alot more expirienced than you though, so you guys should just stick to evacuation while we take care of the combat part," Phantom added as he flipped a -was that a soup thermos?- in the air.
Somehow Robin's frown managed to get deeper.
"We do not need you're assistance with combat," he scoffed, "and I find it unbelievable that you two have more experience than I do."
Stray's eyebrows shot up. " Oh okay, sorry didn't relise you were good on your own. I guess that's probably why you just flew through a window and can't seem to land a single hit," she sassed back, hands planted firmly on her hips.
"Tt, a slight miscalculation. Besides, I have no doubt I could take you in a fight easily, much less the flying green bozo over there."
"Oh yeah?" She replied, her nose twitching slightly, "You wanna go traffic light?"
"Bring it," he growled, dropping into a fighting stance.
Then they were at each other's necks. Damian was tackled off his feet almost immediately, making it less of a standard fight and more of a knock-down, drag-out brawl, and Phantom was just watching. No, not even just watching, he was cheering them on, meanwhile Jason was still trying to wrap his head around what they had said.
"Wait, waitwaitwait. Rewind," he said, causing the ghost to turn toward him distractedly without pulling his eyes from the wrestling demons. "What do you mean 'ghosts like you'? Were not ghosts" At least as far as Hood knew he wasn't a ghost. Zombie plausibly, but he had gotten better, so not a ghost. No walking through walls and spraying people with goo, and he definitely didn't float and/or glow like these people.
Phantom snorted and turned toward him fully with a roll of his eyes.
"I don't mean like ghost, ghost," he snorted, "at least not what most people think of ghosts. But you've both clearly died before, and you have cores, however small, so- ghost," he explained, trailing off with awkward jazz hands.
what?
"What?"
Phantom looked like he was about to respond, but was cut off when a large glob of plasma careened into their makeshift shelter and melted the remains into the ground.
The demons, now rolling on the ground, froze, and Phantom let out a low whistle.
"Right, forgot about that. Stray, come on." The girl popped up from the ground, sporting several new bruises and a manic grin.
"Time to kick butt now, Dad?" Hood's brain froze. 'dad?' Phantom just let out a drawn out sigh as he mussed up her hair in a way that seemed oddly familiar.
"Oh so no I'm 'dad'," he grumbled before turning back to Hood. "You're good on the plan, yeah? Cool, see you in two shakes of a ghosts tail." He punned, then they were off, shouting insults and throwing punches that actually managed to hit.
Hood took a few seconds to process what the fresh hell just happened as Robin stood up and spat some blood from his mouth. He was also sporting fresh bruises, aswell as a small cut on his forehead. Impressive.
"Tt, they are adequate," he muttered, turning on his heel and heading for the nearest building where civilians were still trapped.
Hood sent a quick message to Oracle and B that they had help and to focus on civilians, before following as the fight raged on overhead.
---------
"So is it just me or does Red Hood seem kinda familiar?" Dani asked, ducking an ecto blast and moving in to land a solid hit.
Danny raised an eyebrow and shot a widely at their opponent. "What do you mean?" He asked in response, frowning as the shot missed.
"I don't know, I think it's his core? I feel like I've met him before, but I'm pretty sure I would know if I had."
"Huh, strange. Hey Acid Breath! When was the last time you took a shower? You're stinking up the whole street." The Ghost roared in response as they showered the area in corrosive ectoplasm. "Damn, sorry, didn't mean to strike a nerve. How'd you get here anyway?"
"AAACCCEEE!!" now what could that possibly mean?
"Sorry I don't know anyone called 'Ace'," Danny called, stopping long enough to keep their attention off Dani as she went in for another attack. "You wouldn't mind introducing us, would you?"
"RAWR!!!" Okay, that was a no then. Finally, Dani struck, landing a solid hit to their back before getting smacked to the pavement twenty feet below.
Danny yelped, fumbling with the thermos on his belt before promptly souping the poor sap and flying down to his clone.
"You good kid?" He asked, wincing as Danny scowled up at him and spat out her wad of gum.
"Just peachy," she replied with a sarcastic smile as she took his offered hand. "I thought you promised me a fight."
Danny squinted at her and looked around at the carnage and smoking crater they were currently standing in.
"Was that not? A fight?"
The kid snorted and rolled her eyes, "I meant like a fun one, like with Ember or Skulker. This guy was no fun, no finesse. The closest thing I got to a fight was that brawl with the traffic light."
Danny sighed and ran a hand down his face, "Sorry? We'll see if Robin's still up to fight, either that or we can spar later?"
"Hmph, fine. But don't think I'll go easy on you just because you're old and you're bones are creaky."
Danny gasped, old? Him? "Oh you're going to so pay for that comment kid."
"Oh yeah?" She asked, planting her hands on her hips and raising an eybrow.
"Yeah," Danny grinned back, with equal levels of Fenton sass.
Their standoff lasted about twenty seconds before Dani's gaze focused on something behind her original.
"What's with the guy in the leather furry suit? He's staring at us."
Ancients, could he not do one thing in this city without attracting this guys attention? Apparently not. Batman stared at Phantom and Phantom stared back. Danny groaned.
Unfortunately, with the fighting now finished and most if not all civilians safely removed from the street still dripping with ectoplasmic acid, Danny probably should, *shiver,* talk with the local heros, including the Bat himself. There was no way Danny would be able to walk out of this without setting up several more flags for the furry brigade to hunt down.
But as much as he dreaded it, for some reason Danny obeyed when Bats stared him down from a nearby roof, his eyes communicating a clear talk now or I will make your life hell, though he would probably do that anyway.
"Ugh, here comes the hard part," Danny mumbled as he motioned for Dani to follow him up to the roof. "Batman," he greeted with a curt nod when they landed. At least they were on equal ground now and it didn't feel like he was being looked down upon.
Dani landed behind him, just as Robin, Red Hood, and Red Robin materialized next to Batman.
"Hey, Traffic Light!" Dani beamed, pulling an arm across her chest to stretch her shoulder, "You wanna go again? That fight wasn't too enriching."
Robin scowled at her and shared a look with his- father? Partner? Boss?- whatever their relationship was, Batman had a hard set to his jaw, but Robin looked, not exactly pleading, but more that he wouldn't back down. Somehow Batman lost the stare off.
"Very well, your form could use improvement and I am an excellent teacher," he said, taking a few steps away from the group. In no time at all they were fighting again like they hadn't even stopped.
Robin tried calling out the flaws and tactics in the fight, but was quickly, fully, engrossed on not losing his ground or footing as Dani attacked with more brute, unrelenting, strength than with tact.
Batman stared very dissaprovingly, seemingly ignoring Danny. Danny cleared his throat in an attempt to, Ancients forbid, draw the Batman's attention back to him.
"Don't worry, Stray won't hurt him, at least not more than some bruises or maybe a small sprain if he's not careful." Shit, maybe he shouldn't have said that. The stare Batman gave him chilled Danny to the bones.
"Sorry," Danny muttered, with a sheepish grin he held out his hand, "I'm Phantom by the way, I don't think we've met."
---------
There was something about Phantom that felt vaguely familiar, Hood just couldn't quite put his finger on it. Aside from the fact that he could've sworn he'd seen this guy before, the ghost felt familiar. The vibes that seemed to exude from the glowing teens somehow felt cozy, in a way.
It was so weird. There was no way to explain it. It felt like- finding someone who was just like you, someone who shared your interests and tastes. It felt like community, like people you can rely on and a place to come home to.
The feeling was so sudden and out of place it made him want to punch something. But like in a positive way. Like when he used to wrestle with Dick or B, way back when. Something in Jason's chest seemed to sing, or more like contentedly rumble. It was something he was used to feeling around-
Hood watched as Phantom ducked his head with a nervous smile, his outstretched hand wandering back to rub at the back of his neck as he avoided Batman's glare.
"Not much for social niceties then, eh?" He asked, shooting honest to god finger guns at The Batman, personification or 'revenge and 'the night'. B's mouth drew into a tight line as he studied the ghost.
"Uhm, sorry for like, invading your territory and stuff, I'll try not to let it happen again," Phantom said, attempting to bring his eyes to meet B's gaze.
"Hn," B grunted, "Gotham is no safe place for meta's, besides, we've got the heroing thing taken care of. We don't need help."
Finally Phantom managed to lock eyes with the bat, he looked taken aback.
"Yeah, sorry. No. You kinda did need help with this one, thank you." Phantom's confidence grew as he proceeded to explain just exactly why he and Stray were needed there. Citing the Bats' underpreparedness, as well as a bunch of ghost politics stuff that was hard to follow.
Batman listened raptly.
And yeah, no. Jason had to be entirely wrong. This couldn't be him, sure the face shapes were nearly identical, and the same freckles, and actually if it weren't for the color change and differences in age they could be the same person. But they couldn't be.
Sure Jason's boyfriend could be a bit... odd, and boisterous sometimes. But he really couldn't imagine him being able to scold motherfucking Batman with that much confidence.
But still it nagged at his brain. It really was a long, long shot, that was really, very, highly, unlikely. And Jason really, probably shouldn't have said anything, but he did.
"Danny?" Phantom faltered and the way he froze at the name was almost confirmation enough. His green eyes flicked around the rooftop, then fixed on Red Hood. For a moment his mouth pulled to a slight frown and his brows furrowed, even the noise of the kids' fighting ceased as Stray- come to think of it, that was probably Dani- stared dumbfounded, with a hint of surprise. The two 'ghosts' shared a look then melted into.... laughter?
One double take later and sure enough they were laughing. It was actually kind of unsettling, all echoey and reverberating as if they found the statement absolutely hilarious. If he didn't know better, Hood would've thought they had gotten Joker gassed or something, but he did, and suddenly felt very awkward at even entertaining the notion.
Batman grumbled.
So yeah, whatever, he gad been wrong. He shouldn't have said anything. But did they really have to keep laughing like that?
Phantom was doubled over and clutching his stomach, while Stray went intangible and rolled out from under Robin, who'd had her pinned, giggling uncontrollably.
Eventually, Phantom managed to straighten out and wipe a tear from his eye.
"Who's Danny?" He asked with a few residual giggles tainting his voice. "I don't know a Danny," it was said with such ease, but something felt forced, and his eyes kept flickering around.
"Pft, yeah," Stray snorted, floating a bit to lean her elbow against her partner's shoulder, "His name's Bill actually. Y'know, like inviso-Bill?"
Phantom sobered up completely and fixed her with a glare as the kid devolved into another laughing fit.
"Its not," he said seriously, "I've been going by Phantom for thousands of years, that one nickname is not going to stick." Yeah, if there was any doubt left that he'd been wrong, allegedly existing for thousands of years probably blew that theory out of the water.
"You wish," Stray forced out between giggles, causing Phantom to sigh.
"Anyway," he emphasized, clapping his hands together as he forced a smile, "Ghost problem solved, so we should probably get going then. Right, Stray?"
"Sure thing, Bill," She snickered, but followed as he slowly drifted away form the rooftop, "cya around traffic light!"
Phantom rolled his eyes once more before they both shot off. In seconds they were gone.
B turned toward Hood, mouth already open to ask a question, but he was already gone too. He'd done his part and he could debrief later. For now he had a boyfriend and his kid to get back to.
Fifteen minutes later, Jason was back outside Danny's door with a whole new set of emotions swirling about in his head. He took a deep breath and opened the door.
Danny turned form their game to look at him with his ice blue eyes, and smiled. He patted the spot on the bed next to him as Dani threw a card down with a small shout. She followed Danny's gaze and twisted to look back at Jason, blowing a strand of black hair out of her face and grinning.
"Ay, welcome back! Glad to see I'm not a deal-breaker!" Jason chuckled and took the seat, cuddling up into Danny's side. What gad he even been thinking. There was still alot of concerning things to talk about, but being a ghost/superhero was something he could cross off the list.
-even if their similarities still nagged at his brain
--------
Woop, finally did it! And with Jason's suspicions successfully waylaid, we're going to take a (planned) break, while I get swamped down with all my other projects + school.
Hope you liked.

Dan's Rage Room
It all started as a little Joke for Danny. Jazz mentioned Dan needing a place to decompress and that resulted in Danny getting a crazy idea while he sat in the Buisness Class Course of his Highschool. It wasn't supposed to become a serious business but somehow the little warehouse in Amity Park he secured, through blackmailing Vlad cause the man owns him after all he was put through. Became an official big store, once Dani put up a sign saying 'Dan's Rage Room' as joke.
People of Amity Park apparently thought it was a legit store. And damn... Danny shouldn't have been as surprised as he was when more and more people appeared and asked how much an hour costed. It was Sam and Tucker that then convinced him to make it a legitimate Business, Jazz and his mother helped him fill out the form. And so 'Dan's Rage Room' became Danny's very own Business. Though he did try to push splitten ownership onto his clones/time selves/ cousins/ clone siblings / clone kids (It's complicated okay? Danny still hasn't figured out how to categorise Dan and Dani, but hey they were family.) But Dan and Dani refused to take any sort of owner ship, even when everything originally started as a place for Dan to unwind.
Eitherway his Business grew, and Danny ended up expanding to other cities, figuring out that if Amity Park's people needed this, others would too. With a bit of help and unwilling on his part teaching from Vlad. Danny opened up more Stores, Central City, Metropolis, Star City. Unintentionally Danny made enough money so much that he didn't knew what to do with it and suddenly felt a new kind of understanding for Sam. Despite being sure his parents likely already did that Danny made money Fonds for Jazz, Dan and Dani. He didn't have much hope to go to collage himself considering his grades but that was fine with him. (According to what clockwork let slip and he hadn't told anyone, he would become King of the Infinite realms anyway, no need for a college degree for that, right?)
And wenn his sister decided she wanted to go to university in Gotham, the most crime riddled city known? None of the three D's hesitated to follow. Danny opened another branch of 'Dan's Rage Room' deciding that would finance their live in Gotham and still be an outlet for Dan.
What Danny didn't expect was the amount of people that weren't just 'goons' like he expected paying to let loose in there. Not that he recognised them but some of Danny's new regulars made sure he knew who some of the apparent Big Names showing up to his store were.
Jason at first thought that a new drug place had opened up at the border to Crime Alley, but after observation and seeing not just Goons but also regular Gothamites frequenting the place. Jason gave it a cautious shot, he wallst into the place completely geared up as Red Hood expecting some muscular unkept drug dealer or something at the reception, but what he found was a boy that didn't look older than Tim, small lanky and looking weirdly tired. That took the wind out of his sails as he stared stunned at the kid for a moment.
"Ah... I see guns. A bullet room then? You seem new too, first time? An hour costs 50 bucks added 5 for every additional half an hour." The boy looked up briefly before looking back down at the book he was reading, muttering something about his sister making him visit online classes.
Jason was just about to say something when someone walked in behind him and he blinked. A fucking dump truck of muscle walked in flaming white hair looking ready to rip something apart. The kid didn't even look up as they held up a green card and the guy stomped past him into a door, Jason assumed lead to the... rage rooms?
It took a moment but once he composed himself again, Jason opened his mouth again only to get interrupted by a little girl stomping in next, screeching about a fruitloop and stupid galas and stupid boys. Again the boy at the reception didn't even loop up, holding another green card to the girl who then proceeded to go through the same door the other guy had.
Once again it took Jason a moment to compose himself again, before he spoke, gruff and voice modulated. "One hour... gun room." He would snoop around if he could but if this really was just a rage room business... well he had some unresolved frustrations with B stocked up he could let loose.
Jason quickly became a regular at that place, he kept visiting it, even when he found out some of their big Villains frequented the place too. Though apparently the Joker was band. One day a big ass sign appeared on the side of the building spelling out 'NO CLOWNS ALLOWED'. When he asked Danny, he had gotten to know the boy at the reception desk by now and found some uncanny resemblance to his little brother, the boy had just shrugged and said "I hate clowns." Laughter barked out of Jason for no reason and he took his regular room card chuckling a "You and me, and 99% of Gotham kid."
That place quickly became one of Jasons safe heavens. Even if he ever only went there in full Red Hood gear. This place helped him manage his rage and anger. Some of his siblings started to use that room too, he knew Damian went there too. In full Robin gear mind you but apparently they had a room where he could fully test out his swords skills. Good for the kid.
But what stung though was Bruce, that man still didn't trust the place, something about background checks not adding up.
Jason was going to refute that, that was until one day he noticed an unusual amount of white van all around Danny's store. And only moments after he entered the store guys completely and ridiculously dressed in white stormed the place holding what Jason thought was futuristic Guns at the Danny's head who appeared somewhat unfazed. Well no one could place Jason for pulling out his own gun and holding it onto the dressed in White guy's head while the man spewed some nonsense about ghosts and more. Like hell he was let these people destroy a new safe heaven.
If Jason spread the word in the underground and suddenly, villains, goons and gothamites as well as vigilantes (his overprotective brothers really, Dick was not going to let someone destroy a place his little wing and baby bat loved to frequent...) started a reverse hunt on people ridiculously dressed like them. It wasn't his doing. And he certainly loved the frustration it caused Bruce too, seeing as even Gordon and the police force, corrupt or not, were in on it too. Governmental institution or not, Jason would make sure the GIW would be going down soon enough.

Ok so Amity gets lots of its funding by hosting a summer camp every year. They host it by the lake in the woods and the local high schools are counselors and head of cabins.
The camp is like a 150 year tradition and it got very popular especially among the rich from around the country.
They kept it going, closing down for 3 summers because of the ghost attacks (the town could have the attacks and the camp running. It would be too dangerous)
They opened it the next year, but with a lot more liability paperwork and that stuff.
This is also the year where Damian Wayne gets sent to the camp.
Bruce went, Dick went, Jason went, Tim went and even Cass went for a year and now it was his turn.
Damian did not want to go. There are no phones allowed, so he won’t be able to communicate with his family. He went anyway. Danny is his head of cabin.
All the senior class members are liminal. With the weird traits and all that shit. They know Danny is phantom but they don’t really talk about it
Shenanigans:
- Danny noticing the faint liminal scent on Damian and kind takes him under his wing to hopefully have Damian feed off of his ecto and get healthier. Damian thinks his head of cabin just gets really attached really easily.
- Sam running the gardens and using her undergrowth powers. Damian think she’s related to Posion Ivy, but evidently does not care when he find out she a vegan and just as passionate about the environment and animals as he is
- Tucker teaches the campers a coding class. 30 fourteen year olds hacking into places they should not hack into. Surprisingly, under Tuckers guidance, they all manage to successfully hack into the Pentagon without detection. Damian glanced at Tucker’s screen and saw that he was not hacking along with them but hacking an organization called the GIW
-Val and Danny teach hand to hand combat and weapons. After the camper learn to use all the weapons, Val and Danny assign one o them (crossbow, knife, bow and arrow, laser gun). Damian is great at all of them, and they let him pick whichever weapon he wants.
- Damian offhandedly mentions that a katana is his preferably weapon. The next week, Danny’s younger sister comes back from her travels with a katana for him.
- dash and kwan run the camp wide games. They have capture the flag and dodgeball (but they changed it to bow and arrow dodgeball to secretly help with the kids aim), but now they added a little tournament.
- each camper uses their weapon and are pitted against each other until there is one winner. Unsurprisingly, it’s Damian.
- the GIW crashes the camp in the middle of the night after getting a really strong ecto signal (Damian, plus Danny, plus the other liminal counselors). The counselors were at a separate location having a meeting or some other shit that doesn’t involve the campers.
-with Damian leading, the campers manage to fend them off. He and the other campers notice that they seemed to be targeting Damian.
-the counselors get back in time to help them.
-Damian doesn’t mention any of this to his family, and neither do the other campers. They all want to come back next year.
BONUS
Damian send weekly letters about what he’s doing at camp but in simple terms so that the Wayne’s think that camp just expanded their activities and Damian’s having fun
BONUS BONUS
Damian, after feeding off of Danny’s ecto for 2 months becomes visibly liminal. He grows a foot and a half taller, gets fangs, can hold his breath for longer, is quieter, eyes start glowing.
The Waynes are slightly suspicious, but they’ve all went to the camp and came back fine, so maybe he just had a growth spurt.
Maybe months later Constantine comes to the Watchtower and ask Damian how long he’s been dead. Damian answers.
“4 months, magician.”
The Waynes are now freaking out because they had no idea Damian died during summer camp.
Cue the rabbit hole into Amity Park, Phantom, Danny, and the GIW

A lost kryptonian founded.
Superman was just taking a break out of the Fortress of solitude after a couple of training to defend himself against kryptonite in case of another fight against Lethor.
Clark watched the Icy landscape in silence. It was quiet as the sky was dark, with only the tiny sound of a dangerously slow beating of a drum or a heart right underneath the ice..
Clark immediately went into Superman mode, driving right into the very glacier of frozen ice, only to nearly crash into a body in some large tunnel hole large enough to fit an adult.
It was a boy, a preteen at most curled up in a ball hugging himself with black and white hair that had a frost covered half of a crown on his head, eyes closed as If asleep with frozen tears stuck to his face like icicles, wearing a kryptonian suit with the initials rip on his chest.
Superman didn't think much or twice as he grabbed the boy carefully, diving out the hole he made from the Icy grounds.
The boy was ice cold, much colder then space itself if it weren't for the icy breath.
He dove back to the Fortress of Solitude in a tiny bit of panic, not to think at all as the Fortress's voice of Lara spoke out with a hologram.
"DNA Recognition, distant cousin once removed, Emergency Defense security disarmed."
Her eyes flickered a bit as if a message was being played, her face look a bit worried and hopeful.
"Oh, child of my beloved brother, Jac-al, if you have survived long enough under the eccentric of my brother and found the Fortress of Solitude. I hope you that you didn't inherit my brother eccentric antic to malfunction everything he built without forgetting to check if they are faulty."
