Any idea(s) as to why Cait hasn't been to any OL functions such as Hublander and the upcoming Land on 6? What was the last event she attended?
Thanks for the message, @dragonflydreams47 😃
She might not have been invited. She might not have been interested. She might have had previous commitments. She might be done with attending cons that aren’t Outlander-sanctioned.
What was the last event she attended?
last publicised: JW Anderson fashion show on the 18th of February in London 😉
last con: NYCC, virtually, in October 2021
last festival: ATX in June 2023
last fan event: Season 7 Premiere in June 2023
I’m able to post only 10 images at a time. Here’s a sampling of fan events she’s attended since 2015:

PaleyFest • 12 March 2015 • New York, USA • Photo: Paley Center for Media

SDCC • 20-23 July 2017 • San Diego, USA • Photo: Outlander-Online

Highlanders 2 • 25-27 August 2017 • Blackpool, England • Photo: StarFury

The Land Con 2 • 30 June -1 July 2018 • Paris, France • Photo: Outlander-Online

NYCC • 6 October 2018 • New York, USA • Photo: Getty Images
The Land Con 3 • 30 November - 1 December 2019 • Paris, France • Photo: RosterCon

WizardWorld Comic Con • 6-8 March 2020 • Cleveland, USA • Screenshot: FANdemoniumNetwork on YouTube

NYCC • 9 October 2021 • New York, USA • Photo: Getty Images

ATX TV Festival • 1 June 2023 • Austin, USA • Photo: Outlander Online

92NY • 8 June 2023 • New York, USA • Photo: Outlander-Online
She’ll be busy, preparing for her directorial debut and, like the rest of the cast, getting ready for Season 8. Assuming Starz promotes the elusive Season 7B, we’ll see her in what are probably long-ago recorded videos, etc. Some fans are wondering if Starz will host another mid-season premiere event like they did for Season 1B in 2015.
I’m looking forward to seeing her promote The Amateur (8 November) and The Cut (TBA), and hope the films are represented next awards season. As much that circus irritates me, I enjoy seeing her and Tony out and about. 👠👞
Remember… I have failed 'Star Wars' trivia tests. People come up to me at conventions and use terms that I've never heard of. — Mark Hamill
Sounds like the Force wasn’t with him. 🤷🏻♂️

Blocking policy
Pondered a bit if I should put this woman out of her misery and explain the obvious:

I will not speak for anyone else but me on my page. You have been immediately blocked for this very proactive comment on *urv's blog I happened to remember:

One last time: reading their blogs is none of my business, commenting on them neither - although it will earn you a block, unless you come clean in DM. Pooling resources or trying to get yourself ingratiated with Them and then coming back here and fawning on our blogs is just idiotic and duplicitous.
So don't screech you don't know why. You perfectly know why and you lie through your teeth, fishing for sympathy. As that other Orphan Sister @dragonflydreams47, who keeps on reblogging *urv and plays the innocent newbie after two years and a half in here, you are exactly where you morally deserve to be as far as I am concerned. I don't care about your age, social status or MENSA score. To me, you are just not worthy of my respect, nor worthy of me engaging with you. You will always be blocked, unless I decide to talk to you for random reasons (you like Vermeer and you are adorable like @sop123456778, for whom I made an exception, because she is not a liar like you).
I can stand many things, including an argument with Mordor or being the subject of fantasy insinuations elsewhere. I can't stand and will not encourage mendacity in a place in deep need of integrity. Have a wonderful day!

I wonder why not one cast member of Outlander has congratulated Sam and El on this accomplishment. Does that seem odd to you? Or would it be inappropriate?
You have asked me a very difficult question, @dragonflydreams47. I am of the opinion that congratulations on the success of a person we know are a natural thing to do. And I don't think there is anything 'inappropriate' about offering congratulations. (Is it "inappropriate" for Sam and Eleanor to get one star together? I don't think so, do you? ) Congratulations are a way of saying that your friend's achievement is worth celebrating. It doesn't cost much and it keeps the relationship alive. But of course we know that real life doesn't happen on Instagram. If Sam didn't receive any congratulations or even likes on his Instagram posts, it doesn't mean that no one from 'Team Outlander' congratulated him. On the other hand, the Outlander cast is looking more and more like a toxic family. If a relationship is built on lies, it cannot be healthy. In a word - I don't even know if this lack of congratulations surprises me. I don't think anything can surprise me at this stage. This is saddening.

"Research people."
If you are doing your own "research" @dragonflydreams47, it is clearly from right-wing propaganda outlets because your assumptions are wrong.
First of all, it is Harris's mother who is Indian. NOT Harris's father. According to Time:
Harris is Black and Indian. Her father, Donald Harris, is a Black man who was born in Jamaica. Shyamala Gopalan, her mother, was born in southern India. Harris has spoken publicly for many years, including in her 2019 autobiography, about how she identifies with the heritage of both her parents. [emphasis added]
You also suggest that Harris slept her "way to the top" with a married Willie Brown. Well, according to Time, this claim "is missing some important context":
Brown was separated from his wife during the relationship, which was not a secret. Brown, 90, is a former mayor of San Francisco who was serving as speaker of the California State Assembly in the 1990s when he and Harris were in a relationship. Brown had separated from his wife in 1982. “Yes, we dated. It was more than 20 years ago,” Brown wrote in 2020 in the "San Francisco Chronicle" under the article title, “Sure, I dated Kamala Harris. So what?” He wrote that he supported Harris’ first race to be San Francisco district attorney—just as he has supported a long list of other California politicians, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, former Sen. Dianne Feinstein and Gov. Gavin Newsom. Harris, 59, was state attorney general from 2011-2017 and served in the Senate from 2017 until 2021, when she became Vice President. She has been married to Doug Emhoff since 2014. [emphasis added]
Harris and Brown dated during 1994-1995, so Brown had been separated from his wife for 12 years when they first dated. (I don't know why they didn't divorce, but most people would have considered them basically divorced at that time.) They also dated openly. Harris certainly did not have a secret one-night stand/brief affair with Brown, as is usually implied with the concept of "sleeping to the top."
Brown did appoint Harris to two commissions (NOT simultaneously) when they were dating. But if you don't like that, you shouldn't like the fact that Trump appointed his daughter and son-in-law to high-level positions when he was president.
Regardless, Brown's influence appears to have only been during Harris's early career. Harris got her later positions all on her own, including her elected positions as California Attorney General, U.S. Senator, and U.S. Vice President.
Finally, @draonflydreams47 the above @KamolaHarris account is a (now suspended) X parody account. (Notice the "o" in "Kamola" where the second "a" should be in the correctly spelled "Kamala"--thanks for seeing this @saxlady !). The X post also had a "Parody" label at the far-right bottom of the post (circled in red, in the copy below).
So your statement "your father...", as if addressing your remark directly to Harris, indicates you didn't realize this. (I didn't realize it myself when I first commented on the post.)
However, if you are going to tell people to "research" something like Kamala Harris's history, please do your own research with credible sources. I'm sorry if I sound peevish, but I'm really tired of right-wing people telling others "to do their research" when they clearly have done very poor research themselves.

@dragonflydreams47 Oh I think that was asked at the very beginning as i was walking towards my seat and talking to the lady next to me. I heard the part where Sam said he was married to his manager. I must not have heard the first part. It really is no biggie or surprise given Fantasy Man was getting pushed hard.
Anti blogs saying he laughed about the father 's rumour question in Melbourne..I 'm a shipper and after the funeral pics I confirmed my believes but is insane how they insist with the narrative... at least no more blondes for S and tait looks more like a PA relationship than 2016...
Hmm I never heard such a question being asked yesterday. Unless of course I had a temporary attack of deafness. Sam's Convention agent didn't allow questions of a personal nature. All questions were submitted by paper prior to being read out. All questions were heavily vetted. I hardly think Sam would be laughing about Cait's father dying. Sounds like the bullshit that antis like to make up.
