BACKGROUND

Eddie was born to a Swedish mother and a Mexican father[1] in El Paso, Texas, and has two sisters - Sophia and Adriana. Eddie met his wife, Shannon Diaz, when they were in middle school, and the two of them started dating after reconnecting in high school, Shannon got pregnant while they were still teens. Eddie asked her to marry him when she told him she was pregnant. However, complications arose during the birth, and Christopher Diaz was born with Cerebral Palsy. A week after Christopher's birth, Eddie returned to Afghanistan to finish out his tour as an army medic but re-enlisted with the hopes of supporting his family. Once he left the army, Shannon left him and Christopher to take care of her mother who had been diagnosed with a rare type of cancer. She had asked Eddie to come with her multiple times, but he hadn't been ready to leave his family. Eventually, Eddie left Texas with Christopher, moving to L.A. and pursuing his current job as a firefighter. More found Here

people say death is a gentleman, and I do my best to embody that.

I know what it's like to be scared in the new environment of camp half-blood, so whatever I can do for the new unclaimed kids to feel comfortable, I will.

however, I carry a secret with me. it's hard enough being a forbidden child of the big three, try being impossible. my father, thanatos, as the personifcation of death, is unable to create life. therefore, he's unable to have demigod children. yet, he found himself wanting to try.

so, after following in love with a witch and prophetess, thanatos traded souls for souls, life for life, and two children came to exist. the twins of death. ambrose and azrael.

my sibling and I's existence defied every law of nature, every rule of life and death, and that attracted the gods attention—and not in a good way.

due to our unstable and dangerous powers over death, we were taken to camp half-blood earlier than usual. but, on the journey, we were attacked. and ambrose fell protecting me. or, so they said.

now, i do my best to make my way in this world that seems out to get me personally. the stigma bothers me less than you might expect, honestly. most people understand that I'm just awkward more than anything and truly do just want to help.

but, now, something's different. I've never experienced the prophetic visions that come from my family's line, but now, all of a sudden, I'm having dreams. dreams of the sea, of lightning storms, of a boy with sea-green eyes. but, also darker things, of a voice from the depths of the earth, of disturbing upsets in the balance of life and death.

luke doesn't seem to know what is going on when I brought it up to him during our sparring, neither did annabeth when I asked.

Hello! Not sure if this is how these are usually done here, but figured I would do a quick little intro :)

My name is Zero! I’m 27 and Canadian, and I’m hopping onto 9-1-1 Tumblr for the first time!

I’ve been casually following 9-1-1 since Stuck aired way back then, seeing the gifsets of #thosetwogayfirefighters all over the place, I knew I was gonna be hooked. I followed them over the years but got really into the fandom during season 7.

I’m a Buddie shipper through and through, and am a BT-anti. My fave characters are Eddie and Maddie but I love every main character, past and present. Let’s add Karen and Ravi to that list.

I’m a fanfic writer — on AO3 at PenOfPisces. One of my major projects over the summer was Buckfidelity and thanks to my friends and others alike we were able to make it quite a fun time.

I'm recommending @br0ck-eddie as one of the backbones of our fandom. I know this is not a Steddie thing specifically, but Chelsea writes Steddie, Eddie x Reader, Steve x Reader. And the vibes are absolutely impeccable. Not only that but for being like...the number one cheerleader and down to hear any headcanon, any story, for any ship, being such a supportive reader and friend.

Chelsea doesn't have a masterlist (stares at her pointedly) but she a) sort of doesn't need one and b) I'm working on surprising her with one for her birthday. The act of compiling her works has been an honor and just...you get to know someone when you go through pretty much every single post they've reblogged over the course of a year. And in the year of 2024, she wrote almost 200 of her "ramblings" as she calls them. From under 100 words to stretching into the thousands, Chelsea always has Stranger Things on the mind.

As I said, I'm a literature major, I love classic literature, especially the gothic genre. Speaking of, I'm also goth, and I've been actively in the goth community for over 8 years now.
