#also i don't think it's a conspiracy theory to say that peter didnt want to exit#like bffr who's turning down a consistent paycheck for the creative betterment of a fucking procedural they won't be on anymore if it was#offered to them#either peter was already looking to exit/had something else lined up he'd like to pursue#or his contract ended and he wasnt offered a renewal#which is shitty but perfectly fine for a project to do so but no one sat down together and chatted about this and peter saw the potential i#the storyline so much so that he said yeah you're right i dont want another multimillion dollar contract you can keep it#they either didnt offer him a renewal or they offered him smth better/smth he'd prefer both money and creative-wise#i wouldn't be shocked if he stayed as an EP#that + the freedom to not be tied to a show as a serious regular could outweigh whatever he thinks about this choice and the idea of leaving
