PINKYBRAIN!!!!!!!! sorry for the late reply but this episode messed me up SO MUCH it took me five rewatches before being able to write this down without wanting to dive straight into the ocean THE VICE VERSA BRAINROT ONLY MADE EVERYTHING SO MUCH WORSE

i actually picked up some more parallels other than the ones you pointed out so here we go:

1) idk if it's a stretch but the opening scene reminded me so much of talay waking up puen in episode 7 like. the rather abrupt awakening. puen refusing to get up and take a shower unless talay gives him a bath vs mork refusing to leave day alone unless day calls him 'phi' again. puen/mork borrowing one of talay's/day's shirts (thankfully said shirt was not forcibly removed this time around, that truly would have pushed me over the edge)

2) i can't help it, every time mork makes a food related pun (bread-fast, false rice) i inevitably think of puen's carbo-narak ;;;;;;

3) AND SIMILARLY EVERY TIME MORK CALLS DAY 'MR.' SOMETHING I IMMEDIATELY THINK OF TALAY LIKE WASN'T LAST WEEK ALREADY ENOUGH WHAT ABOUT MY MENTAL HEALTH ✋😭

4) you mentioned this last time from the preview of this ep, but i want to once again point out just how insanely similar mork getting ready to go out for dinner with day and talay getting ready to go to the movies with puen (and up and aou) are

5) the entire 'practicing dinner so day won't feel embarrassed to eat outside' has the same deranged energy of 'following this pairing to see if they're a couple so it will help us write a better love story'

6) PUEN'S SPIRIT WAS LITERALLY IN THE ROOM WITH US DURING THAT ENTIRE DINNER LIKE

(kinda sad they translated 'teerak' as 'baby' in last twilight but we KNOW and that's all that matters) [also you're right mork using 'ter' with day after 'teerak' and 'faen' was emotionally devastating to a degree i can't even begin to explain]

7) GIVING FLOWERS AND TAKING PICTURES AS SHOWN BY THIS GIFSET
