The Living Hive! I forgot it was psychic!

I imagine Arbron sounds a little manic right about now. Like that one Jane Prentiss statement from The Magnus Archives.

Ooh boy... Arbron's not any less suicidal now than he was two chapters ago when he tried to get Elfangor to kill him, even with his talk of any life being better than none and finding a purpose serving the Hive.
But he's also right that even these Very Hungry Murderpillers have the right to defend against the Yeerk invasion of their homeworld. As always with Animorphs, no species is a monolith. Just as many Taxxons joined the Yeerks for the promise of even more meats, there are also Taxxons resisting the Empire to control their own planet.
Elfangor doesn't have to see them as nuanced creatures to understand that much. Even if he never outgrows thinking Taxxons are evil, full stop, he can understand that they can also want to resist the invasion of their home.
Apparently there was a Taxxon Chronicles planned at some point that never happened. I would have loved to see it. More nuance for the horrible cannibal worms!
