3d art is great and more people should get into it but also its kind of offputting how much it overlaps with... idk, reddit nft crypto techbro sorts.

Heartbreaking how almost every cool person I find turns out eventually to be that sort. Not necessarily 'bad people' or 'doing bad things' but. Those sorts. Bad vibes.

#would genuinely love to help people learn 3d stuff #if i had a voice i like hearing I would love to make li'l tutorials #if youre curious go get sculptris/zbrush's free mini program thats just sculptris's corpse with new paint #blender is also free and will do the same thing but its so big and scary its hard to actually start with it #though i dont actually sculpt anymore #i pprefer modelling #which are 2 pretty different things #maybe ill make a whole post about it #i love 3d and talking about 3d #especially blender #if anyone wants to jump into it ive learnt a lot #also you dont need a tablet to do 3d! genuinely #except for textures i prefer using purely mouse and keyboard #its very accesible and i dont think people are aware how different the skill level is to 2d
