It's a glorious teacher AU ensemble fic that incorporates elements of book and TV!Omens with more than a touch of everyone's favorite slash: Aziraphale/Crowley! Rated Explicit.

Aziraphale has a strong urge to step forward into Crowley’s path, to block him into stillness, to place a single finger across his lips to keep them from moving. So he does. Aziraphale takes two purposeful strides into the path Crowley has been walking back and forth and puts his index finger over Crowley’s still-moving lips.

“What’s this?” Crowley manages to say, although a tad muffled by the finger. It hasn’t worked. Perhaps another method would be best for getting his point across.

“Kiss me?” Aziraphale asks. The question must catch Crowley off guard, because he begins sputtering again.

“OK,” Crowley finally agrees.

hello! my name is chia, and welcome to my blog fallingforflake, dedicated to flakeposting 24/7 :)

this will serve generally as an archival blog related to rammstein's keyboardist flake lorenz, with (usually) daily photos and silly captions along the way!

i'm also a fic writer: my ao3 account is exchangel, where i post fics about a lot of things (but flake is a priority...). my 'main' blog is @exchangell but tbh i don't post there 99% of the time (still, feel free to check that out). aside from that, i post flake edits on my tiktok account @kaardrouxls!

now onto me: i'm super into industrial music and its history, classic literature, classical composers (real ones know that i used to have a franz schubert fanpage), films and of course rammstein and its members! :)

HEY MORTIS!!!

i suppose it's hard to say for certain, and again my words here won't be the be-all and end-all: there's a lot of different ways that people go about it. i'll give you a list, though:

i tend to avoid repeating words in the same paragraph unless there's a specific stylistic reason for it (so if i'm using repetition to drive forward a point)

it's a super corny and overdone piece of advice, but 'show dont tell' is really good. after a while it kinda becomes baked into your brain to the point that you don't really think about it- it just feels natural

try reading a LARGE variety of literature. that can range from different genres/publishing methods (e.g fanfics)- a nice part of writing is seeing how people's writing styles vary, especially given that not everything is everyone's cup of tea. it's not a necessary thing here, but just being able to read different things and sort of subconsciously pick up on things genuinely helps so much beyond belief- and if you have a list of your favourite authors, reread their stuff and see if there's stuff stylistically that catches your eye

think through a variety of different language techniques. start out simple with similes and metaphors, and see where it takes you

again, it's all about getting into a practice of it over a long period of time until it feels almost instinctual- it's been a while (10 years) since i started writing longer works/short stories, and it's obviously always resulted in more bad works than good ones- just treasure them and accept that they exist. it's all about building up on yourself and trying new things until you find a way that works for you. like i said, after a while it becomes second nature, but that differs for everyone- i do english literary tutoring, and a general thing i've noticed with my students is that it's always most beneficial to go with what you'd want to read yourself as opposed to what you might think others might like. some may like it, some might not- it's all about you writing for yourself and an audience who'll surely enjoy reading it. just making sure that you like it, alongside maybe asking others (both writers and non writers) for feedback always goes a long way!!
