Sternbild is the movie capital of the country and Apollon Media one of the most successful studios. Many hopefuls flock there to make it big, but find the film industry ruthless - especially if you're a NEXT.

Due to discrimination, most NEXT find themselves regulated to stage hands and the special effects department, maybe getting cast as an extra if they're lucky, though a select few have found success here and there. Kotetsu was one of the one's everyone thought would go far, but lost a lot of his drive after Tomoe's passing. However, Apollon has a new president, Albert Maverick, and he has big ideas to use film to improve public opinions on NEXT. He plans to unveil an entire new genre of movie: Superhero films, portraying NEXT using their powers to protect the innocent, with his ward, Barnaby, as the figurehead. However, Barnaby is new to Sternbild, and the movie industry in general. While he has great potential, he's never acted in anything, much less a starring role. So an unwilling Kotetsu is roped in to be his co-star and guide in this new project. Can the two get along long enough to make this movie a success, and is this plan as straight forward as Maverick says it is?

To hide identities of the adventurers on Dungeon TV they wear entirely different outfits from what they usually wear as well. Full body hero suits are instead full suits of armor that don’t really show the face. For cameras they have fairies that watch and broadcast the adventurers in the dungeon. The point system is based on the types of monsters they beat (dragons being the highest amount of points possible) and rescuing other adventurers can result in points also.

Kotetsu T. Kaburagi: A tall-man who left home to help support his family after his wife passed away. He’s been a part of Dungeon TV for a while even before her passing and continues to be a part of it to help clear the dungeon of any potential danger for others. His first death was from slime (during his early adventurer days.) Kotetsu comes from an eastern village on the Northern Continent, he currently lives on The Island.

Barnaby Brooks Jr.: An elf who’s searching for who killed his parents. Barnaby’s parents were a part of the research facility of the Canaries and he was wanting to join to be like them before they were murdered while he was still young. Started searching all over the continent and anything from the Canaries for any sort of information on who killed his parents while under Maverick’s guidance/guardianship. He became a part of Dungeon TV from Maverick recommending it to him to get his face out to the world to continue his search. His first death was from a golem during his debut with Kotetsu as his partner.

Albert Maverick: Barnaby’s step-father/caretaker for his entire life. He appears to take on the form of a dwarf and helped give Barnaby the idea to make his debut to find the people who killed his parents. He is the one in charge of keeping things in order at the Dungeon that Dungeon TV films their show in, so he rarely leaves it. In truth though, the real reason he doesn’t leave the dungeon is because his true identity is that of the demon of desires. His true intent and goal of taking in Barnaby was to make him the lord of the dungeon. He was also the one who killed Barnaby’s parents as they found out who he really is.
