@modcrnspirits (for Cole, from Arthur)
Arthur walked the halls agape. He had spent so many years being a director at a museum of magic, yet never in his lifetime did he think he'd be able to see this amount of arcane academia in one place. He could walk throughout these halls forever, however, walking is not the original purpose of his visit here. Arthur came here for one thing only, and that was to learn. As he was now, Arthur was a fairly skilled magician. He levitate things, perform simple glamours, even the occasional banishment of malevolence or benevolence. But he needed more, craved more. Craved the discipline and hard... ruler of a true magic teacher.
He wasn't sure what attired he was meant to wear, so a simple shirt and a pair of jeans sufficed. Although, as Arthur began to inspect himself, he found the pants might be a bit too form fitting. Arthur knocks on the door to Cole's training room, hoping it was the right one. "Mister Cumhail? I'm here for our magic lesson..."

The last world for now, in which I stayed for longer, is called “Galaad Island” or “Isle de Gallahaad” in original, since it’s French world. I don’t know who created it, but it originates from site called Simsdesignavenue, which is no longer available. The only place for now to download it, is this pack on mediafire, so catch it up and make a copy if you want.
Person which showed me this world said it was basen on French coast, with a bit of Breton climate. It’s unpopulated, but it has many tombs and it’s story is focused around Galahad, Gallahaad, or whatever spelling is possible (I’ve seen so many). He was a knight of King Arthur's Round Table and one of the three achievers of the Holy Grail in Arthurian legend. Though in this world he’s refered as “Saint Gallahad”, so I don’t know what’s behind that. All I know is that there’s his tomb, and there’s a lot of other tombs as well, so if you want to look for Grail, go ahead!
It’s very old world, probably from 2010. So it uses only World Adventures and Ambitions. There’s CC attached, which is lathern and some wallpapers. I turned it into packages and put into proper folders and it was working. So if you don’t install simpack, I made a folder with all them converted. (Just remember that world file goes into different folder than regular CC!)
Anyway, let’s take a closer look under the cut.
...
Town centre is pretty similar to the one from Riverview. It also has many parks, but not only narrow ones.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
What is definitely different from Riverview, is that waterfall behind city hall.
Tumblr media
Closer to the shore you can find something like a cottage houses. Most houses in this world have like 2-3 bedrooms, but very thin on place. I’ll show the interior set up later in this post.
Tumblr media
Gardens and paths behind them are very atmospheric.
Tumblr media
Other houses are simpler. They’re placed near town entrance. There’s also laundromat and cafeteria.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Going along the shore you cen see community beach.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Even further you can find a lonely wooden shack on the beach. It’s residential lot, good for those who like to keep it private.
Tumblr media
Behind that shack there’s spacious areaon the hill where houses are rather scattered around, with only paths meandering between them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And of course there’s pearl of this world - lathern. But it’s just decorative CC. There’s medium sized house with garden near it, and private beach.
Tumblr media
In the middle of the island you can find another waterfall and community center / fishing spot. Fishing spot reminds me of the one in Riverblossom Hills from The Sims 2.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Near you can find another houses and something more... mysterious.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The highest part of island is kinda empty in lots. You can find there however the biggest ones, like the one bellow.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When it comes of typical interior, it looks like this.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There are also more modern houses.
Tumblr media
But what I haven’t mentioned earlier, there’s no starters! So eaither you need to move sims onto empty lot, use cheat, or buy unfurnished one. Only one or two could be bought unfurnished if I recall correctly.
But to not end it with such a sour picture, here you have a few more views on town. Obviously I coundn’t show all I wanted, but I started a longer gameplay in this one, so I’ll have yet occasion to spam with nice landscapes.

Thanks for reading!

“Ask the girl out, for crying out loud!” (Spencer Reid/ Reader)
Tumblr media
Summary: Random talking about books and authors in the jet back from a case creates a lot of awkward silences between Spencer and Reader, they can actually even drive Rossi a little crazy.
Pairing: Spencer Reid/ Reader
Warnings: I’m getting fluffier and fluffier with every word I write
Word count:1,2K
Masterlist
.
It was a long flight from Seattle back to Quantico. Everybody was asleep on the jet, after a whole night awake, catching yet another serial killer. Ok, not everybody was asleep. Spencer was sitting at the very back of the plane, reading his favorite Edgar Allan Poe anthology. He knew by heart every word of it but revisiting it made him feel like home, like talking with an old friend.
He didn’t have many old friends, so he guessed books could do the trick.
- “Again? really?”- (Y/N) asked him and sat next to him holding two cups of hot coffee.
Spencer smiled, not taking his eyes from the page. He knew if he did, he was going to blush and get nervous, ‘cos every time they talked, he got a fluttery feeling in the stomach. He couldn’t help it, even after all those years. He just had to live with the fact he loved his best friend in silence and made his best to pretend nothing was going on.
- “I can’t help it”- he answered and pretended to continue reading.
- “I would tell you to find another book you love, but I’m pretty sure you already read all the books in the world”- Spencer gave her a knowing grin, trying to annoy her.
- “Jealous?”- but he failed
- “I don’t know… I don’t think so, I like to know there’s a book out there I still don’t know, and that it might turn out to be my favorite.”
Reid frowned thinking about it. When was the last time he got so excited with a book it turned to be his favorite? he had read many books, he had loved a lot of them, but nothing had the same effect on him as that Edgar Allan Poe’s anthology he got when he was six. Maybe it was the impact it had on him at such a young age. Maybe he just was a sucker for horror. Whatever the reason was, Spencer hadn't found another book to call his favorite.
- “Have you ever thought about which character from a book you would like to meet?”- (Y/N) looked at him with honest curiosity after a few minutes in silence and forced him to stop reading again. Spencer didn’t really mind the interruption, he wanted to talk to her.
- “No, I don’t know… I think I’m more curious about talking with authors than with characters”- he frowned, rubbing his chin, realizing he had never thought about it.
- “Why?”
- “I guess I want to know what they thought about while creating these amazing worlds, how they came up with such brilliant ideas…”- Spencer sat correctly on his seat and closed his book, biting his lips to cover a smile- “Did you know that Sir Connan Doyle was a detective of sorts himself? he actually used the Holmes method to solve the murder of an 82-year-old woman from Glasgow, named Marion Gilchrist”
- “Are you serious?”
- “Yes! and he was friends with Harry Houdini, but had a bitter spat on the grounds of spiritualism that broke their friendship entirely”- (Y/N)’s mouth fell open
- “No way!”
- “Yeah! I’ve always wanted to know what that argument was about… can you imagine what it was to be friends with Houdini?”
- “Maybe Sir Arthur kept asking and asking him to do magic tricks for him, and Houdini just wanted to make him disappear”- (Y/N) made a pause and looked at Spencer’s wide-opened eyes, waiting for his reaction.
- “Really?”- he closed his eyes, looking in pain after such a terrible joke- “Please, don’t tell me you thought that could ever be funny”- but (Y/N) giggled
- “Oh come on! it wasn’t that bad”
- “It makes me want to disappear”- the girl elbowed her friend, feeling her heart beating a little faster each time he smiled at her.
- “Well, I do want to meet a few book characters”- (Y/N) changed the subject and sipped her coffee- “I think there are a lot of them who need to be told a few things”
- “What? who?”- Reid furrowed his brows, trying to follow her idea
- “Well, for starters, I need to have one long talk with Holden Caulfield”
- “I can’t imagine what you would say to him”
- “I would give him a hug, I love that kid, I’ve always thought we could have been friends growing up, I mean, we were both rebels against our families and school...”
- “Did you know there is a highly shared theory about The Catcher in the Rye among conspiracy groups? It’s believed that the book is actually used as a trigger for sleeper assassins who were trained by the CIA’s MK-Ultra mind control program”
(Y/N) smiled at her best friend and didn’t say a word for a few seconds. He didn’t know if he had said something wrong or not, he had just said the first thing that came to mind. As pretty much always.
- “Are you trying to tell me I might be a serial killer, Reid?”- she asked, leaning into him slowly. As she got closer, her heart beat faster, and Spencer’s cheeks turned red. He had to hold his book tight to make sure his hands didn’t shake. His eyes were fixed to her lips, and all he could whisper was.
- “No… I don’t think you… are… a serial… killer”- he even stuttered. For a second, they were so close they could actually kiss if Reid moved his body a few inches closer. But neither of them did a thing. As always.
- “I would also love to meet Mr. Darcy and ask him to stop being an ass with Lizzy”- (Y/N) sat back on her seat and sighed, trying not to look as frustrated as she felt.
- “You did finish the book, right?”- Reid asked playfully, but she just groaned under breath.
- “I know they got married and lived happily ever after, but for the first half of the book, he was a jerk and it really upset me”
- “It’s called character growth, (Y/N), it’s part of the story”
- “Well, sometimes it’s annoying! don’t you ever want to yell at some book character to stop joking around and do the damn right thing? like, we know you love the girl! ask her out once for all!”
There was a heavy silence between the two of them. A long, awkward silence. You could feel the sexual tension in the air as they stared at each other.
Yes, everyone knew those two were madly in love with each other.
No, neither of them wanted to make the first move, afraid of the rejection.
Yes, Spencer was sure (Y/N) would laugh on his face if he ever asked her out
No, (Y/N) could never refuse a date with Spencer, she loved him ever since he first started rambling facts, five minutes into introducing himself.
Yes, they were driving the whole team insane.
- “We all know exactly what it’s like to want to yell at someone’s face “ask the girl out for crying out loud”!!”- Rossi nearly shouted standing behind their seats, making (Y/N) and Spencer jump- “Now, if you are not going to say what we all want you to say, I will suggest you two shut up and let the rest of us sleep.”
Spencer and (Y/N) looked at each other and shrugged. Reid opened his book again and she just closed her eyes. Rossi walked back to his seat and sighed.
- “I’m gonna marry again before those two have their first date”- he whispered to Hotch, who chuckled and didn’t take his eyes from the files he was reading.
- “That’s not really that hard, David.”

@ofpotentia liked for a starter from arthur.
Tumblr media
“ well, thanks, but... i’ll pass on that one. ”   he truly thought this cute as hell guy had slid into his dms with second (he hoped third, fourth, fifth) intentions - but nah. seth just wanted to offer him this opportunity to investigate a suspicious case that ended up filed under suicide, but that the investigator disagreed vehemently. but he wasn’t truly the annoying type, he had a great talk and great jokes and... well, great looks, arthur had to admit. maybe it was his turn to open up his intentions.   “ but, well, if you’d like to invite for a cafe or a drink one more time, i’ll definitely accept that. ”

X-Files: Tickling Abduction
I found this story between 1998-2000ish and I still find it amazing!
TITLE: X-Files WRITTEN BY: Sierra Stinson TOPIC: f/f , f/m, m/f Tickling
X-Files Agents Mulder & Scully stood near the center of the massive corn field near Arthur, Kansas. The stalks surrounded them at neck level, hiding them from sight, from human sight. They squinted as the blinding lights descended upon them. Scully’s soft red hair blew wildly around her face & neck. There had been sightings reported here before, but none documented or proved. This was it. This is what they both had been searching for these past years. The truth. Some kind of truth. “Mulder?” shouted Scully, “do they know we’re here?” Without taking his eyes of the space craft he shouted, “They’ve traveled millions of light years to get her, Scully. I think they know the difference between us & the vegetables.” Scully reached into her coat pocket & produced her camera. As she put the camera to her face the hovering craft emitted 2 beams of fiery-red light. One beam struck each of them. Instant paralysis overcame them. Scully’s camera fell from her grasp. Neither of them could speak, move, or even blink an eye. As their feet lifted off the ground they grew weak inside, & fell unconscious as they were pulled towards the mysterious craft. Mulder awakened first. He was groggy, a bit weak, but no harm had come to him. His first deduction was that he was not on earth anymore. The large room around him was like nothing he had seen. Immaculately clean for starters. & none of the usuall things like pictures, chairs, etc. Immediately he sensed he was restrained. He was held in a standing position with his back against a cold flat surface. A stainless steel of some sort, he assumed. Holding him to that surface were restraints upon his wrists, elbows, waist, knees & ankles. His feet were on the floor, so that he somewhat supported his own weight. Whether he did or not, the fact remained that he was helplessly restrained. It took Mulder a second longer to realize he was stripped of his clothing. As his senses awakened he also noticed the temperature was quite cool. His guess would be 60-70 degrees. As he began to scan the room he saw agent Scully directly in front of him. She was on a rack of some sort. His view of her was from the left side of her body. Her feet were pointing to his left, her head to the right. It wasn’t a table. She was lying on her back but was being held up only at the joints of her skeletal structure. She was stretched out spread eagle. Perfectly formed supports were under & above her wrists, elbows, head, shoulders, waist, upper thighs, knees, & ankles. The supports were rather thin, seemingly covering as little of her flesh as possible. Because these supports were both over & under her & pressed together, they served as a kind of ‘hand cuffing’ of her entire body. Because Scully was not on any solid surface, nearly all of her body was exposed on all sides. The more Mulder studied her bonds, the less restrained he felt within his. He noticed that even Scully’s toes & fingers were individually spaced apart & held motionless by miniature supports around them. Then, he realized that he was seeing something he had been wanting to see for a long time. Although he hadn’t dreamed it up this way, he took the moment to look longingly at agent Scully’s body. Never had he realized how milky white & flawless her skin was. Without having to touch it, he understood the baby like softness of her stomach & sides, the white hollows of her underarms as they stretched out above her head. As his eyes traced down her shapely legs, he was somehow uneasy about the fact that he couldn’t get a good look at the soles of her feet. He could see flushes of pink as the sides of them rounded out of sight onto her soles. Then he broke from his lustful trance. How long had he been admiring her? He didn’t know. He couldn’t worry about it now. “Scully,” he whispered. Her eyelids moved slightly. “Scully?” he repeated louder. As she opened her eyes he realized that she would see him naked, & know that he could see her. He didn’t talk, but waited for her reaction. She too, realized she was held captive, & sensed her nakedness. “Mulder?” she said. “I’m here, Scully,” he replied calmly. Sensing which direction his voice came from she tried to roll her eyes that way, but the angle was to difficult. Unable to rotate her neck, she could only see agent Mulder from his chest up, but saw that his arms were restrained above him. “It’s cold in here. Are we alone?” she asked. “I think so, but I’m sure they’re watching.” Agent Scully spoke again, “We’re on the ship, aren’t we?” Agent Mulder replied with humor, “This isn’t Kansas anymore.” After a few seconds of silence Scully complained, “I can’t move any part of my body a single inch.” “I can see that.” replied Mulder, “Does it hurt?” “Does what hurt?” asked Scully. It dawned on Mulder that agent Scully, being unable to move her head or neck, possibly could not even see the mechanisms holding her in place. “Your being restrained with ….with I don’t know what. Can’t you feel the pressure all over your body?” questioned Mulder. Scully again rolled her eyes around, trying to aquaint herself with her surroundings. “No, nothing on my body hurts. I feel extremely soft pressure when I concentrate, like on my elbows for instance, but I can’t even bend one of my fingers or toes,” she informed him. “Yeah,” Mulder replied, “don’t ask me to scratch an itch for you.” A few seconds later a triangle shape on the wall turned into light & seemed to dissolve. Only Mulder could see it. 3 alien beings entered. They took tiny steps & were short like the pictures & actual sightings Mulder & Scully had seen before. Mulder wasn’t sure if they had genders, but if he had to guess, 2 of them looked more feminine than the other. All 3 together approached Scully & gazed down at her with a look of wonderment. They turned their heads like puppies do when they are puzzled or intrigued. After studying Scully they did likewise to Mulder. Mulder studied them right back. Even though it was not the best of circumstances, this was the greatest moment of his life. He was face to face with real live beings from outer space. Then the non-female of the 3 communicated to the other 2. It wasn’t in English of course. It wasn’t with any spoken words. Then he left through the door of light. Swiftly 1of the 2 aliens went & stood at Scully’s side. “Mulder? Do you have any theories?” asked Scully, as she anticipated something was to happen. “No, they wouldn’t tell me,” joked Mulder. Scully dismissed Mulder’s attempt at humor. She understood it was his way of staying relaxed & in control. But she was scared. She had been in this situation before. On a table. Bright lights. People standing over her. The last thing she wanted was another micro-chip implanted somewhere on her body. As these thoughts raced through her head, the alien transformed its image. The change was swift & precise. Now, one second later, standing over agent Scully was a real a live human woman. Scully’s eyes widened. The woman smiled warmly at agent Scully. She was rather tall, probably 5’ 9” with long dark brown hair. Her eyes were emarald green. Her figure was near perfect by today’s standards. She wore all black, though she wore little. A sleeveless half shirt, a miniskirt, & healed boots. All the items were unquestionably leather. But most noticeable of the woman’s appearance were her long red fingernails. Mulder was impressed. “Missy?” said Scully. The woman replied, “Hi Dana, long time huh?” Mulder was confused. “Scully do you know this woman?” he asked. Before Scully could reply the woman turned to agent Mulder & said, “Of course she knows me. We went to graduate school together.” Mulder remained silent. She turned her attention back to Scully. “It’s all right Dana. I know how you feel about me. I’ve always known.” Agent Scully was in utter shock. For years she had been sexually attracted to Melissa, but had never told her. In fact, Melissa was the only woman Scully had ever fantasized about. All of this was happening in front of agent Mulder? How embarrassing! “Why am I here?” asked Scully. The woman giggled. “Why, to be with me,” answered Melissa. Mulder interrupted. “She’s not real, Scully. You saw the transformation.” Scully didn’t reply. “You keep quiet,” Melissa barked at Mulder, “I’m going to play with Dana’s body & I strongly suggest you watch!” Scully was always so logical, do dedicated to just the facts. Right now though, a part of her wanted to just let go & believe that it was Melissa. The re-awakened feelings of how she had felt about Melissa, coupled with being bound naked in front of her, made her want to believe. She was no longer embarrassed about her nudity as she had been. Mulder could only assume that the aliens had done some kind of brain scan on them, thus able to know secret desires & emotions they held inside, even be able to recreate images from these memories. The other alien stood next to Mulder, still in alien form. Melissa gave agent Scully another warm smile, held up her hands to show off her nails, & bent down to Scully’s ear. “I love you,” she whispered. Then she rose up, walked down to Scully’s feet, disappearing from Scully’s view. Mulder watched in amazement & utter surprise as he watched Melissa lower her extended index finger down to agent Scully’s left foot. He knew what was to happen now. As her fingernail connected to the sole of her foot, Scully’s eyes widened again. “Mulder,” she asked hastily, w-what is she doing?” Scully had a pretty good idea, but asked anyway. “She’s tickling your foot, Scully.” As those words left Mulder’s tongue, Scully tried to move her feet away from Melissa, only to be reminded of her strict bonds. Melissa ran her finger slowly but methodically up & down Scully’s sole. This couldn’t be! How could this be happening? Scully was extremely ticklish, so very helpless. She made it a point never to tell agent Mulder just how ticklish she was. Just a few seconds went by before Scully giggled aloud. It was obvious that Melissa had full access to her feet. It would be impossible not to laugh. Why fight it? she thought. Melissa moved between Scully’s spread legs & using both hands, ran her nails up & down both of Scully’s soles. “Time to laugh, Dana,” taunted Melissa. Scully giggled like a child for 2 to 3 more seconds & then exploded out of the giggling stage & erupted into laughter. “Eeeeeeh! Ha ha ha ha he he haaaaaaa. Oh God! Help! Ha ha ha ahaaa!” Melissa didn’t let up. Quickly it became obvious that the arches of her feet just below the ball joint were highly sensitive. She worked her tickling fingers just on Scully’s arches. “Aaaaahh ha ha ha he hee ha,” laughed Scully. Melissa talked as she attacked. “Guess what Dana? I can see in between your toes.” Scully was aware that her toes were held apart. “Tickle tickle tickleeeetickle, my Dana.” Scully’s laughter heightened. “Aaaaaaaah ha ha ha ha! Nooo! Pleeeeze! Ha hahahaha ha. N-not there! Hee he haa ha hhaaaaaaaaha ha ha.” Melissa was smiling with pleasure as she had her way with Scully’s gorgeous feet. She raked her soles effectively for minutes. Mulder never took his eyes off them. Amidst the screams & laughter he thought about what was happening. Did they bring us here to tickle us, he thought? What can they learn from this? He turned to look at the alien beside him, thus taking his attention away from Scully. Instantly the alien near him transformed into agent Scully & she grabbed his sides & lower ribs smilingly & tickled heavily. She wore the same outfit as Melissa. Talk about not warming up! Mulder exploded with laughter, as his ribs were so very accessible & exposed. His head thrashed from side to side as he tried to escape the tickling, but Scully’s soft, beautiful hands & fingers worked his torso effectively. “Stop it! No! Ha haah ah ahahaaah ha ha hee h! No! No! Ha ha haaaa heeeeeeeeehhhhaaaah!” Amidst his tickle torture he noticed Melissa walk away from Scully’s feet over to her slender torso. He focused on that for just a moment & then his tickling stopped. With a grin on his face from the tickling he kept his eyes firmly on Scully, the real Scully. He had a theory formed already, & even though it was going to tickle, he had to test it out. He looked away from agent Scully & up to the ceiling. Instantly the alien Scully vibrated her fingers over his underarms. He burst out again. “Haaaaaa ha haha ha heeeeeeeyaaaaa! He he he he haahaaahahahaha” It tickled insanely. His underarms had always been a weak spot. His theory had worked however. He realized that every time he didn’t watch Scully get tickled, then he was tickled mercilessly. The trouble now was focusing back on Scully so that his tickling would stop. It was easier said than done. Scully was tickling him wildly while staring him right in the eyes. Her red hair laying softly around her face, her smiling face. The mind probe must have discovered his lusts for agent Scully, thus creating her image as his tickler. He too in a strange way enjoyed it, because it was Scully, but the sensations were to much, to torturous. As he laughed uncontrollably, he forced his eyes back on the real agent Scully for what seemed an eternity before the tickling stopped. He whimpered & giggled, but didn’t dare look anywhere but a agent Scully’s beautiful body. The thought of even another 5 seconds of that kind of tickling sent a strange kind of delightful fear through his body. “I hope you enjoyed me paying your feet a visit Dana,” asked Melissa. Mush to Mulders surprise, agent Scully did not answer her. He was sure that most people in Scully’s predicament would take this opportunity to beg. Scully didn’t. Why? Could she have actually liked it? “Your underarms look so soft, Dana,” teased Melissa as she began her attack. Even before her fingers made contact Scully screamed & laughed. “Noooooooo! Aaaaaah! Ha ha ahahah ha ha hahheeeeee!” Then as agent Scully physically realized the fingers made contact, her laughter skyrocketed. “Eeeeeeeeeeh! NOOOO! Haaaaaa ha ha ha ha haaa haaa! Mulder? Help! Ha ha haaahahahahahhaaaaaaah.” Melissa’s was somehow & expert tickler. She mercilessly & with a smile administered the tickling of a lifetime. “Laugh for me. Tickle tickle. Laugh harder,” said Melissa. “Steeeooooooooopppp! Aaaaaaaaahah haha ha ha aaaaaaaah! Not my pits! ahaaaaaaa! Please not there! Ha ha ha!” Scully’s eyes filled with tears of laughter, & they began to flow down her milky white face. Her lovely red hair became sticky wet in some areas. That’s more like it, thought Mulder. Now whe is begging. Had she always been so ticklish? Mulder was glad it wasn’t him. He had a choice, at least for now. In a strange sort of way though, he took delight in seeing Scully tickled. He wanted to tell Melissa where to tickle next, & for how long. This made him think about how he never really saw agent Scully smile much. So this…this was wild. She was nothing but one big smile now. The sounds coming out of her mouth were so unlike her. He kind of found pleasure in seeing her turned into a helpless child, unable to control or analyze the situation. Yes, all she could do was laugh, just laugh & try to deal with it. Upon staring at her he noticed her nipples were aroused. Does extreme tickling cause that reaction, he thought? At that moment the Scully standing next to him, transformed into him. He stared at himself in amazement, being careful not to take his attention off of Scully’s tickling session. He watched himself approach agent Scully & began to assist Melissa. While Melissa continued her relentless attack on Scully’s under arms & upper ribs, Mulder began to dig into her lower sides, just above the hip bones. The kind of laughter that escaped agent Scully’s lungs was indescribable. To be utterly unable to move & be tickled simultaneously by perfect ticklers, was unbearable. But how could it be termed unbearable when she was about to bear it? “NOOOOOOOOOO! AHHH HAHA HAA HAHH! HEEEH HEH HAH HEH AHAA! NO NONONNNONOO! AAAAA HA AAAAAHA AAAAAAHAA AAA AAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA!” Deep throaty laughter passed through her beautiful lips. She could see that Mulder was one of the ticklers. She remotely wondered if it was the real Mulder. The real Mulder wished that it was. He realized Scully was not being hurt, & every ounce of his being wished that he could be in control of her helpless white body & administer tickle after tickle after tickle. He desired to totally control her emotions with even the lightest touches. He concentrated on her laughter. It was beauty to his ears. “AH AH AAAHA AH A HAAAAA!” The 2 aliens showed no signs of letting up. Melissa placed one of her hands on Scully’s knees & squeezed repeatedly, while vibrating her fingers across her ribcage wildly. She counted ever rib out loud many times over. Scully’s ribs were easy to get to. She had little fat on her body. Mulder had kneeled down under Scully’s body & began tickling her lower back with torturous pinches, pokes & squeezes. Then he just grabbed her sides & wriggled his strong hands up & down her torso, from her pits to her hips, then back again. At that moment the restraints holding agent Scully’s head in place released. Now she could thrash her head around freely in laughter. “HEEEEEHAA HAHAAHAHAHA HAAAA! HA HA HA H AHAAAA HEEHAAAAH!N-NOOO! ST-STOP! HA HA HAAA HA HA HA! EEEEEEEEEH!AHHHH! HA HA HA! NOOOOOO! STOOOOOAAAAH AH AH A HAA HE HE HE AHAA HE HE HAAA HAAAEEEEEEE!” She had no idea the human body could register all of these feelings at once. Her mind was overloaded with messages from hundreds of nerves saying 'we’re being tickled! this tickles! Make it stop! We can’t get away!’ She glanced quickly now & then at Mulder, but was unable to lock her eyes on him for more than half a second. Melissa was now tickling her inner thighs hard. Scully’s entire body was dripping with sweat, glistening in the bright lights of this tickle haven in the sky. Her face flushed with shades of red. A permanent smile owned her face, her eyes screamed out for help or mercy, anything! The aliens continued tickling for hours. They covered her body many times over, including another raking of Scully’s soles that lasted for about thirty minutes. “AHHHHHH! HA HANOOOO-AHHHAHHAH HA HA HA STOOOAAAAH HA HAHA HA! NO NO NO! HA HAAA HEE HEEE PLEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ! HA HA HA HAAA HEEE HAHA HA!” By the end of the second foot tickling, every hair on Scully’s head was drenched with moisture. Much to Mulders surprise, Scully never lost consciousness. Her chest heaved with laughter as she gasped for words. Mulder was never tickled again. He began to assume that the aliens wanted to find out 2 things. 1, the physical & emotional reaction to extreme tickling. 2, the reaction of someone of the same species who is watching it. He found it interesting that they took the forms of people that were sexually associated with agent Scully. Evidently they had a reason to suspect that tickle sensations & sexual excitement are very much intertwined. He listened & watched as agent Scully played her oscar winning role in the experiment. He observed agent Scully reach sexual heights at least seven times. Her moans quickly turned back into screams, however, as she seemed to become even more ticklish after each one. “HAAA OOOHHHHHHH AH AH HAAAAA HA OOOOOOHHHHH HA AAAAAHA HA HA HAANO NO! STOP! HAAAAA HA HEE HE HE HEEE N-NO MORE! HA HAAAAHA HA HA AA” Mulder & Scully awoke in the corn field. The sun was rising. They were wearing their clothes. The camera lay at agent Scully’s side. Mulder quickly checked his watch. 7 hours had passed. It was real. They had been abducted by aliens & used as test subjects. They looked at each other, both with embarrassment from what they had seen of each other. “What do ya say we keep this between ourselves?” Mulder asked. Scully smiled, giggled & agreed. They stood up, looked around, & walked back to the car. THE END

@leagueofheros
Arthur had a fairly simple life. Followed a fairly simple routine. Wake up, feed his familiar whatever is left of the dry food before he begins to badger him for the wet food. Waking up everyday as Judgement Day came closer and closer to him. Judgment Day, oddly enough, is the name of Arthur's familiar - a siamese cat with a white pelt and brown point coloration on its face ears and tail. The cat named himself if you can believe it. The cat stares up at Arthur, dissatisfied with his choice of meal. Arthur stares back with his blue eyes, almost holding the stare until the alarm on his phone sounds off. "Fuck, I'm late!"
Breakfast would usually be next in the witch's routine, but as Arthur has found, there wouldn't be enough time. The wrath of Judgement Day might have been quelled but museum was still waiting for him. Arthur walks quickly to the museum of magic where he worked. It was a small and odd looking museum, domed in vibrant glass. He enters from the back of the museum and opens the doors from the inside. Arthur, being distracted by his mental checklist of things to do, accidentally slams a door onto someone. "Oh!"
"Oh, I'm so sorry! Hope I didn't... Oh." Arthur began to chuckle as he began to look over the man he'd crashed the door into. He couldn't but think of how good he smelled. "I'm not sure who I should apologize to first... You or the door."
"I think there's a dent on it now." Arthur chuckles awkwardly.

Nature The Deafening Silence of Colin Kaepernick
Nature The Deafening Silence of Colin Kaepernick Nature The Deafening Silence of Colin Kaepernick http://www.nature-business.com/nature-the-deafening-silence-of-colin-kaepernick/
Nature
A tall, unemployed man took his niece to see Serena and Venus Williams play each other at the United States Open on Friday of last week. The man, a free-agent football player clad in a simple black T-shirt, was briefly shown on the video board at Arthur Ashe Stadium to thunderous applause from the crowd. His response was little more than a smile, enough to light up social media with messages of support.
On Monday, the same player shared on Twitter a new advertisement by Nike featuring a close-up of his face and nine words of type that, while drawing acclaim from many, also drove other people to social media to post photos of themselves destroying their Nike gear.
Such is life for Colin Kaepernick, a hero to some and a pariah to others, who has become one of the most influential athletes in the current sports landscape, all while rarely saying a word.
It was Kaepernick who, as a quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers, sat then, after consulting a military veteran, started kneeling during the national anthem before N.F.L. games in 2016. He said he wanted to raise awareness of racism, social injustice and police brutality against “black people and people of color.”
He was soon joined in that protest by Eric Reid, a former teammate who was also by his side the other night at the Open. Their protest, which other players have continued even as Kaepernick and Reid have not been signed by any teams, continues to stir debate online, divide fans and the league owners, captivate celebrities and athletes and motivate President Trump to persistently tweet his anger over it.
But Kaepernick has kept his own voice largely out of those debates. As he works his way through a grievance against the N.F.L., accusing it of colluding to keep him out of a job, he has employed a savvy use of Twitter and other social media platforms, along with the occasional carefully staged public appearance, to make his points. And by all indicators most people are getting the message loud and clear.
Nature The Declaration of Silence
In November 2017, with the reality setting in that teams were not going to sign him despite his having led the 49ers to a Super Bowl appearance after the 2012 season, GQ named Kaepernick the magazine’s Citizen of the Year. The issue was executed with Kaepernick’s permission and assistance, and he posed for photographs, but he declined to be interviewed.
In an article titled “Colin Kaepernick Will Not Be Silenced,” GQ’s editors said “he has grown wise to the power of his silence” and that Kaepernick was hoping to reclaim the driving force of the protest movement from President Trump, who the editors said had distorted it into something entirely different.
Nature The Amnesty International Speech
Kaepernick stayed true to that public silence as he filed a grievance against the league. Over the course of the 2017 season, Kaepernick let others point out the fact that, statistically, he was a superior option to nearly every team’s backup, and several teams’ starters. It wasn’t until April, when he accepted Amnesty International’s Ambassador of Conscience award, that he publicly discussed, in any meaningful way, the protest, what it means to him and what life is like without a team.
The speech, delivered in the Netherlands, lasted just over seven minutes.
He expressed concern that Reid had paid the same price he had for the protest and he sought to emphasize the original rationale of his protest: “As police officers continue to terrorize black and brown communities, abusing their power, and then hiding behind their blue wall of silence, and laws that allow for them to kill us with virtual impunity, I have realized that our love, that sometimes manifests as black rage, is a beautiful form of defiance against a system that seeks to suppress our humanity. A system that wants us to hate ourselves.”
Nature Speaking Without Speaking
Kaepernick’s ability to remain in the public spotlight — and at the heart of the N.F.L.’s protests — stems largely from his use of social media, where an audience in the millions follows him on multiple platforms and tracks his public appearances.
His use of social media is especially intriguing because it is often lost just how rarely the words are actually coming from Kaepernick himself. Kaepernick has posted to Twitter more than 11,000 times, but since his declaration of silence to GQ, the overwhelming majority of the posts are retweets or posts under his name where he is simply sharing the words of others.
Who he follows
The 119 Twitter accounts he follows tell a story by, for the most part, fitting into four tidy categories: political accounts, celebrities, athletes and his family members. He follows the activists DeRay Mckesson and Shaun King, the filmmaker Ava DuVernay and politically-vocal athletes like Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, Marshawn Lynch and Stephen Curry. He notably does not follow Malcolm Jenkins, the Philadelphia Eagles player who is the active player most associated with protesting during the anthem. Kaepernick and Reid were reported to have had a falling out with Jenkins last year over Jenkins’ willingness to compromise with the N.F.L. in a deal that provided $89 million for various social causes.
(Kaepernick’s following list is not all on message, however, as the lone entry that cannot seemingly fit into one of his four categories is the viral video account @ThingsWork. Staying focused is important, but finding out how to fold a Chinese dumpling is also cool.)
What he posts
Rather than posting his own thoughts, Kaepernick mostly retweets other accounts. His selection includes messages of support for protesting players, relevant news, posts by Reid and other athletes, and frequently the thoughts of his girlfriend, the radio and television host Nessa Diab, and his close friend Ameer Hasan Loggins, a doctoral candidate at the University of California at Berkeley who posts under the name @LeftSentThis. On Instagram and Facebook, where the ability to recirculate posts from others can be tricky, he still rarely posts in his own voice.
That so much of his message is delivered through the words of others only served to amplify Kaepernick’s personal posts of support to the Miami Dolphins players Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson, both of whom knelt during the anthem before a preseason game last month. He did not post, or even retweet, in support of Miami’s Robert Quinn or Philadelphia’s Jenkins, both of whom raised a fist during the anthem.
In an interesting twist, Kaepernick got a taste of his own social media medicine on Tuesday when Tom Brady, the biggest star in the N.F.L. and a player with a somewhat complicated relationship with President Trump, liked an Instagram post from GQ’s account that shared Kaepernick’s Nike ad. The wordless gesture, interpreted by many as support for Kaepernick, sent people on social media scurrying to figure out what the click could mean.
Nature Where does he go from here?
Last week, an arbitrator denied the N.F.L.’s request to have Kaepernick’s collusion complaint dismissed. The news of the decision was announced on social media by Kaepernick’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, and it was declared by many to be a significant step in Kaepernick’s ability to remain a thorn in the N.F.L.’s side, even if the bar for winning his case is fairly high.
Image
Kaepernick, as was to be expected, kept his voice out of the mix. His personal account retweeted Geragos’s announcement along with a post by Russell Okung, a politically minded player, expanding on the decision. But Kaepernick wasted little time on his personal victory before moving on by retweeting further messages of support for the protests of Stills and Wilson, both of whom knelt again during the anthem before that night’s preseason game.
Kaepernick’s message is focused. His voice remains silent.

The Best Sofa In The World
The Best Sofa In The World

The Statement Sofa
Do you want a sofa that has something interesting to say?  A sofa that doesn’t just facilitate conversation, it IS the conversation!? The statement sofa is the main event in the space.  They are sculptural and different, they’re conversation starters, they’re friends with big personalities.
1. Bohemian by Moroso from Hub
The Bohemian range by Patricia Urquiola is a favorite of mine (let’s face it, everything by her is my favorite) because it ticks a lot of boxes.  It has a traditional element, with echoes of the old Chesterfield buttoning style but in a completely new way.  The Bohemian is the perfect fit for a formal room in a Victorian style space, but with an edge. We have specified this in a pink and blue armchair version (it takes on a whole other personality), and are waiting for the sofa in divine green leather to arrive for some very cool clients. It’s an investment piece, for sure, but I’m a huge fan of the Bohemian.

I’m so excited to share this exclusive on The Design Files!  It’s the brand new sofa design from Grazia & Co.  It’s cool and low, bulky but light.  It doesn’t have legs as the seat floats on an upholstered base.  Actually, I haven’t seen anything like it and I’m really LOVING it.
3. DS-600 by DeSede from Domo
Yes, it’s slightly crazy but also incredibly clever and totally original.  Known as the never-ending-sofa, there is nothing else that even comes close. Each module locks then zips together forming a sofa that can gently bend and curve its way through the space.  It’s even a bit of a movie star, and has made a few cameo appearances in films such as The Hunger Games and more recently it made an appearance at Club Unseen by Studio Pepe in Milan.  Although it was designed in 1972, I feel it’s making resurgence right now.  If you were thinking that a leather sofa made in Switzerland sounds expensive, then you’d be right!
The Go-To Sofa
These sofas work well in almost any space.  They are great for family life, as the sofa that everyone including the cat wants to curl up on!  The go-to sofa has to work hard as well as look gorgeous.  We watch tv, entertain, relax, sleep, and sometimes eat dinner on them.  Fabric choice plays a big part in choosing a sofa that is the right fit for you.
These options tick all of the boxes of comfort, durability and quality.  They will last for years.
1. Phoenix by Arthur G
This sofa is a chameleon.  It is extremely comfortable and the fabric selection can really change the entire look.  For example, a velvet fabric looks luxurious whilst a linen fabric is more natural and casual.  The design is timeless and simple, it’s a great go-to and is exquisitely made in Melbourne.
2. Zaza designed by Charles Wilson for King Living
It’s pretty safe to say, that King is the ‘go-to’ place for sofas.  They know how to do them very well.  Within each range are a million different configurations and fabrics to select from.  When I first saw the new Zaza, which is to be launched at Denfair this week, I thought to myself, ‘Oh! I like what you did there with the folding armrest’.  I like the low back profile and that it’s a bit finer than some of their other sofas.
3. Wallace by Carmenes from Ajar
I first tried this sofa at Denfair last year and it was just divine!  Those armrests are like soft squishy pillows and provide the comfort, without the loose cushions that needs fluffing up. It’s so comfortable and always looks neat and tidy.
4. Wilfred by Jardan
The Wilfred looks so gorgeous and plush, but still has a light appearance.  The floppy arm-rest over the solid oak frame gives it a lot of personality and a casual vibe.  When it was released a few years ago, designers kind of lost their minds and we are still in love with this guy.  I’ve seen it ‘dressed up’ with a leather side and back detail by a very clever designer (Hi Gillian).  It’s incredible how upholstery selection can totally change the look.
Small Space Sofas
A lot of sofas are just ENORMOUS and they won’t fit in the living room of an apartment, that’s if you can even get them up the lift in the first place!  And let’s face it – apartment living is on the rise and just because it may be small in size, it doesn’t mean that your sofa can’t be extremely comfortable and gorgeous!  In fact, I would argue that because it’s smaller, more of the budget could be invested in a quality sofa and fabric, rather than something huge, just to fill a big space.
1. Togo by Ligne Roset from Domo
The Togo is having a bit of a renaissance at the moment as many designs from the 70s emerge.  These modular sofas are low, plush and extremely comfortable, they seemed to know how to relax back in the 70s!  A single section is perfect in a small space, but equally, two or more sections can be joined together to fill a much more generous space. The Togo is made in France by Ligne Roset and has a youthful vibe.
2. Camille by ANACA sTUDIO
The Camille is most perfectly proportioned sofa with a slightly playful vibe. Designed by Melbourne based French/Australian furniture designer Anne-Claire, there is something very cute and sophisticated about the Camille, maybe that’s a French thing?  Anyway, it looks gorgeous in upholstered in a plush velvet and it’s extremely comfortable!
3. The Offset by Menu FROM tHE aPARTMENT
What I love about this sofa is that it’s both delicate and boxy at the same time.  The fine arm profile is maximizing the seat space, which is perfect in a small space.  Designed by Norm Architects, its both homey and architectural at the same time.
The Modular Sofa
I am a bit conflicted about modular sofas. I get it, they are great because you can lie on one end and sit on another and some spaces just suit modular sofas perfectly.  However, they are just SO BIG!  I prefer two sofas and some armchairs for variety and interest.  Modular sofas should have a light, streamlined appearance so that they don’t completely overwhelm the space.  However, these modular sofas are absolutely gorgeous – they are perfect for Netflix binges, rainy Sundays and theatre rooms.
1. Tufty Time by B&B at Space
The Tufty Time is one of those sofas known by name.  It’s kind of famous amongst designers.  I would go so far as to say that it is a design classic of our time. It was designed in 2005 by visionary designer Patricia Urquiola.
It’s a modular sofa with the ottoman at the core, allowing for multiple configurations such as for the seat to be very deep, or the armrests high or low.  You can design some creative configurations perfectly tailored to needs of the space. It invites lounging however it always looks smart and the upholstered form doesn’t need plumping up. One to save up for!
2. Gentry Sofa by Moroso from Hub
This is the really the ultimate modular sofa that designers love to use.  Its refined shape, soft seat cushion, and elegant legs make it a modern classic.  It looks gorgeous in fabric and leather, even in quilted fabrics because the shape is simple.
3. Arkley by Jardan
The Arkley Modular sofa from Jardan‘s brand new ‘Art Series’ range launches TODAY! (It’s so new, in fact, that it doesn’t appear to be on their website yet… whoops!). An uncharacteristically curvy, retro-inspired shape ensures this eye-catching piece is destined to be a future classic. We love it in the smaller 3-seater shape, too! All Jardan’s pieces are made in Melbourne, which is always a plus.
The Cane Sofa
You know what I mean; it’s that sofa in the entry that you use to throw your coat on. Or the sofa in the bedroom that you bought with ideas to sit and read on, but you’ve NEVER sat on it, it just gets piled with clothes. This kind of sofa looks gorgeous, but comfort is not its most important function.
1.Belladonna by Sika from Domo
This rattan sofa is so sweet and romantic; it would add a touch of bohemian whimsy to any space.  It’s an iconic piece designed in Denmark in 1951 and is back in production in Indonesia where rattan is grown in abundance. Rattan is a solid fibre whereas bamboo is hollow, in case you were wondering!
2. Cane sofa by Curio from ClickOn
If you have been living under a rock these past few years, you may not have noticed that cane webbing is having a serious moment.  This cane sofa is refined and elegant and it would look perfect in a sunroom.
The Leather Sofa
I have a few rules about leather sofas:
1. Never have two leather sofas in the room. It will be too much leather and feel heavy and overwhelming. 2. Instead, one leather sofa and one fabric sofa, to soften the look and allow the leather to be the focal point. 3. Never, EVER use shiny leather. It needs to look natural with a matte subtle feel, not stretched tight and slick. 4. Leather looks gorgeous in an array of natural colours from cream, beige, tan, cognac, greige, light brown through to dark brown, even forest green. 5. I am not convinced that a bright white leather sofa is ever a good idea, and I’m yet to meet a black leather sofa that doesn’t look sleazy. If you know one, please introduce me.
There are so many gorgeous leather sofas out there, however I have narrowed this down to three.
1. Tiki sofa by Fogia from Fred International
So light and elegant with a slightly curved profile to the back and arms, the Tiki stands out from the crowd.  Designed by Norwegian designer Andreas Engesvik it’s a modern classic in my book, and a sofa I regularly covet.
2. Dawson by Arthur G
This sofa is absolutely stunning in person. What isn’t conveyed in the image is the open seam at the corners of the buttery soft leather, so you see the lovely raw edge of the leather. It just feels incredible and natural.  And because these sofas are made entirely in Melbourne, they offer the luxury of customisation. It’s always worth asking the lovely team at Arthur G if there are images of their sofas in other fabrics, as it really helps get the ideas going.
3. Klassik by Great Dane
With a slightly mid-century Scandinavian vibe, this is a true classic.  The high back makes this an extremely comfortable sofa, without being bulky.  It looks beautiful in leather, however there are some lovely fabric options available. This style is sofa can also often be found in vintage stores – try Grandfather’s Axe for similar secondhand options.
The Curvy Sofa
Curves are back baby! There are a few sculptural sofas that have been released recently and they make quite a refreshing change from the square bulky shapes we’ve know and love!
1. Julep by Tacchini from Stylecraft
This generously proportioned sofa is almost more like a sculpture than a sofa.  The Julep sofa is inspired by the Avant-garde furniture of the Fifties, I think its beautifully feminine and just gorgeous.
2. Stay Sofa by Gubi from Luke
What you see is what you get with a sofa like this.  This neat shape is always going to stay the same, no plumping, fluffing or faffing required.  This is a great option if you have a sofa in the centre of the room, as its curves look beautiful from every angle.
The Share House Sofa
Ok, so you live in a sharehouse.  This doesn’t mean that you have to sit on that skanky sofa that’s just always been there, but no one knows where it came from.  Get your housemates to pitch in to buy an affordable sofa.  Failing that, make them pay a price-per-sit fee (!).
1. Denver by Oz Design Furniture
This sofa definitely gives good bang for your buck!  It’s generous in size, so great for lounging with friends, but also looks contemporary and smart.  (And we’ve just noticed it’s on sale now!)
2. Como Sofa from clickOn
The fine arm profile of the Como sofa allows for more seat space, with those two little cushions included to soften the look.  A nice classic design and neutral colour options makes this such a neat, versatile little sofa with a neat little price to match!
3. The Hold from Curious Grace
Your housemates will be well impressed that you found such a cool sofa at a great price.  Although brown velvet sofas are fairly common in share houses, I would take a bet they don’t look as gorgeous as this! (It comes in heaps of other colours too!).
4. The Mellow from Curious Grace
The great thing about the Mellow sofa, apart from its affordability, is that it is robust and sort of ‘unflappable’. This is a sofa you won’t have to be too ‘careful’ with, if you know what I mean.  The structured design and smooth upholstery always looks neat, and if you select a dark colour like this, it will hide all manner of stains.
The Dream Sofa
These are the sofas that designers lose their minds for.  When we specify them for our clients, we get insanely jealous and possessive, we just want them for ourselves.
1. Maralunga by Cassina from Space
When I asked my designer friends what their favourite sofa is, the Maralunga (available at Space Furniture) came up more than a few times!  Another design from the 70s that is relaxed and instantly recognizable with its folding backrest.  If you can find an original in good condition, its better than winning the lotto!
2. Sesann Lounge by Taccini from Stylecraft
This sofa gives me that feeling of walking out of Baby Pizza wishing that I wasn’t wearing jeans, apart from that, I am in love with this sofa. Bulky and soft at the same time, the Sesann Lounge was designed in 1969 and later went into production.
3. Maker &Son
I am seriously concerned that if I sit in this sofa by Maker & Son, I may never be able to move again!  The commitment to serious comfort is just beyond comparison!
Constructed with pure comfort in mind, this couch is built in the traditional way, using materials like French jute webbing, traditional horsehair layered with soft clouds of cotton, wrapped in hessian and canvas all topped with feather and down plump cushions.  It means that there are no poly-materials at all.  This is a sofa that’s really going to look after you, and give you permission to just… flop.
4. The Cloud Sofa by & Tradition
If you ask me what my favourite sofa is, well it changes…. at home we have the Togo and it’s a great sofa for a young family.  It doesn’t need any plumping up and the kids can jump all over it, and it doesn’t matter.  It always looks good.  However if I had to choose another, the Cloud by & Tradition is a firm favorite.  It has the right amount of structure and softness, it looks good from all angles, and it’s comfortable and elegant.
And, if all else fails…
If all of the options above left you feeling a bit, meh….?  There is a secret weapon out there that allows you to have the extra deep seat if you’re tall, or the wider arm at the perfect height, so that you can rest your head and fall asleep within three minutes. Or the perfect fibre fill that you don’t need to fluff up all the time. Maybe you’re more driven by the things you don’t even see, like an all-natural fibre filling free of formaldehyde, that you don’t want to inhale.  You may need an extra hard-wearing sofa, which uses a luxury outdoor performance fabric such as the Perennials 100% solution dyed acrylic. These outdoor fabrics might sound a little but believe me they are GORGEOUS!
There is another world of sofas that are custom-made to your specific requirements, if you work with an interior designer to help realise your vision.
Beyond choosing a different leg or fabric, there are so many options out there that an interior designer can introduce you to. Interior designers have a wealth of resources when it comes to sourcing the perfect fabric, as well as furniture fabricator contacts that are trade-only (sometimes the ones who actually supply sofas to your favourite stores). It means that you will own a sofa that your neighbours won’t have… because your sofa is about what fits perfectly for YOU!

National Football League roundup

November 18, 2017
(The Sports Xchange) – NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell’s contract extension negotiations will be discussed Dec. 13 during an owners-only session at the league’s meetings in Irving, Texas.
The decision to conduct a discussion at the meetings comes on the heels of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ recent request for a special meeting on Nov. 28. That request was denied but Jones and the other owners will get to chat about the demands of Goodell as reports suggest the NFL commissioner is looking for an annual package of nearly $50 million in his next contract.
Jones recently threatened to sue the NFL if the extension is approved by the six-owner compensation committee, headed by Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank.
Arizona Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said quarterback Blaine Gabbert will start over injured Drew Stanton for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans.
Arians told reporters that Stanton, who has a sprained knee, will be Gabbert’s backup if he can physically play.
Stanton has been the starter since Carson Palmer went down with a broken arm in Week 7. If Stanton can’t go, Matt Barkley, who signed with the Cardinals earlier this week, will back up Gabbert.
The Cardinals signed wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald to a one-year contract extension that keeps the 10-time Pro Bowl wide receiver under contract through the 2018 season.
In his 14th season, the 34-year old Fitzgerald has 60 catches for 677 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Cardinals in all three categories.
