I get the whole choreography thing but I was already a fan of both chaewon and sakura since their iz*one and days and I obviously was gonna stan them. Unforgiven was a little tame compared to smart, but let me tell you people had way more sick excuses one of the many was that she was already 18 in korean age and that even if she wasn't she was gonna turn 18 soon. I actually have a song from their debut ep that I always have on repeat and that's the great mermaid it's such an amazing song and it fits their voices alot I can't imagine a group who'd sing it better than them.

And you're right about them training only 1 year together since yunjin was training with newjeans at that time and I'm pretty sure kazuha was still doing ballet and eventually suddenly joined the kpop industry as for eunchae she was training under another company and she has some predebut covers and I'm pretty sure sakura and chaewon were training together. So they didn't actually train together for long, and I'll always say this garam was one of the best at everything in the group id say interms of ranking it was chaewon, kazuha and then her,she didn't deserve what happened to her. And just like you said abt seonghwa, he brings alot to the group and is one of the members with the most verses meaning that if he was (hopefully never) leaves ateez it'll be easier for them to perform new songs instead of changing the lines for the old songs. Even tho hybe doesn't have any legal control over it's subunits they still have alot of control over what they're doing and I'm sure the contracts stated so, and the background check goes for the artists they collab with aswell, like with the whole enhypen and bella poarch isssue and a the unnecessary remixes they're doing left and right. Like it or not newjeans shifted the industry MASSIVELY just because they had an issue with their company-that they had the right of doing, doesn't mean they weren't big icons, i mean I've personally never seen such a fun and fresh concept in kpop, and even though they're known for their y2k fresh concept they've now changed their name to NJZ and hanni said that they are coming with a new concept no one has seen in the kindustry and hanni also mentioned that ador have filed two lawsuits against them.

So true I remember one time I was wondering how much staff seventeen and NCT have and how much pain they have to go through to prepare their outfits and make certain copies or pairs of the outfits incase of any accidents, it mainly started when I saw a tweet and it said these are all seventeen's luggages and it was like 30 bags and it was only the stage stuff not even their personal stuff. And same thing goes to ateez even though they're lately have been naked on stage and I'm convinced that the luggages the staff have are only for jongho, yunho, and hongjoong.

I literally talk to cahtgpt about kpop issues and problems because I have no kpop stan friends except for my cousin who only stans bts and seventeen.

I tried to get her into ateez but she got intimidated when she watched the guerilla mv especially the end screaming part, but she then had a crush on jongho when she heard his highnote in cyberpunk and wonderland but I told her to watch her back cause he's my bf(excuse for my delusions but If I can't have the real thing I can atleast imagine ✋😔😔)

I was having a bad day and decided to watch some hongjoong tiktoks until I stumbled upon this shit ass account and I'm actually so pissed

Like girl called hongjoong a gdragon wannabe, said that he's selfish, taking "opportunities" from the vocalists of the group, and that he's the one not giving lines to his members

How can people be so stupid, I mean he's still making money and doesn't care about whatever these dumb haters are saying

Still, she moves to stand near the edge of the building’s roof. Near, not on. She’s already done the math for the worst case scenario. (Meaning, if her footing were faulty, she’d still be up here instead of down there.)

Her demeanor remains the same. Neutral, hands clasped in the front, feet together. However, there’s tension building between shoulder blades and it’s a steady rise up towards her neck. “But I refuse to be the reason why we miss out on this view, so whatever it is that you’re thinking—“ A shallow breath, a raise of brows, a tight smile that instantly softens on the exhale. “—Don’t.”

Clearly there’d been a miscalculation in her mind readings because what comes out of the blonde’s mouth next has the color depleting from her eyes and filling in her cheeks. Her own mouth opens, the words are there on the tip of her tongue ready to take flight but the problem with Alana Bloom is that all the sound is in her head verses her throat. There’s a roadblock. And she needs to put her construction hat on to get past it.

The attraction is there, she thinks it always has been. First with her companion’s heart, then the rest followed. It’s a long, overwhelming process. But she’s considering skipping it.

When babelicious Lew looks at you with his rapt attention and dreamy eyes, you feel like the only person in the ‘verse until his short attention span snaps away and he forgets you’re there. “Good vibes, only!” Lew will gladly give you your Tarot card reading, but not before taking the negative cards out first. With his strict ‘the universe is love, we are love,’ mantra, Lew never wants anyone to feel bad even when they are deadass wrong! His philosophy of

appeasement can cause conflict amongst the crew and his inability to take sides in crucial moments will often put them in danger. No, we cannot just hug everything out, Lew! CHRYSTRAH SNU (she/her): Character is 17 (must be 18+ to apply), cis-gender woman, identifies as ‘queer’ but just figuring it all out. LEAD. Chrystrah is a fresh-off-the-belt queer who has arrived with big expectations: ‘I’m here, I’m queer! Direct me to my spot on the rainbow carpet!’ The trauma of her homophobic upbringing has left Chrystrah without any real sense of self; her identity loosely held together like a fragile cracked egg. Any criticism, no matter how gentle, feels like an attack, causing Chrystrah to act abrasive, territorial, and defensive. She is always overcompensating in big bombastic ways because she feels so inadequate for not knowing the right words, behaviours, and codes. She is jealous of Saf (some might say obsessed) who does seem to get it all right. Fiercely loyal, Chrystrah is the first to run headlong into danger to save someone. She has a steep learning curve ahead. THE ELDER QUEER CHAPERONES: BAE TORGA (she/her): Character is late 30’s-early 40’s, cisgender woman, bisexual, bipolar, open to all ethnicities. PRINCIPAL. Possessing a tough, gruff demeanor, Bae is outwardly sardonic but really a bleeding heart who holds back out of fear that any demonstration of affection and empathy will be seen as a commitment. 00:00 - I love that the recent comebacks have had That Sound at the beginning. Not the same sound but a distinct sound that the moment the song starts you just KNOW. They are sounds i love to imitate tbh

00:08 - okay idk why but the crescendo of the synth/strings (i dont know music words, bare with me for this) it’s so pretty and very well represents how i gradually get more excited as the song starts ( ilove this song). also i’ve watched so may stages that now my mind just immediately starts the fanchant

as a preface this whole thing will be v casual because i cba

seoul born & bred, an only child, established in 1998!!

so basically her mother comes from a pretty small town but her father’s from seoul so she started getting that coin!!

anyways she was raised real uppity, fancy house private schools & all that. but she also lived kind of like a mixed family because her dad was borderline obsessed with western culture so he was always like speak english!! eat american food!! listen to american music!! and she would always be taken on trips to paris france usa and shit but she really didn’t care she just wanted to be at home tbh

her mom is the opposite, always urging her to know her culture & cooking her homemade food and belting all her ballads w/micha. it was a lot less forceful which is part of the reason she prefers her mom and also why she doesn’t have that much of an urge to learn english or travel to other countries & all that

anyways life went on as normal until around middle school where she discovered kpop!! this was made canon last time but i wanted to revisit it!! it sounds stupid but was v influential because it a.) made her a knight stan lol and it b.) showed her the potential of becoming an idol as a career c.) opened her up to the kpop genre!!

you may think i’m joking but the only music she was ever exposed to was her parent’s taste so it definitely was a change for her

anyways that phase was just spent being a real cringy stan but anyways proceed

things seem to be okay until money seems to be the only topic of her parent’s conversations - how they’ll get it, how much was lost, all that. her dad’s not making as much as he once was but is still spending like he is, her mom thinks they should downgrade in favor of affordability. the result?? messy messy divorce micha is put in the middle of.

[tw in brackets: substance abuse & verbal abuse!! i’ll make this quick just in case people are uncomfy with strong mentions of these things!! but basically within the stress her dad found himself caught up in drugs and alcohol and it was just a mess. while he was still his normal charismatic self to others, behind closed doors he got really harsh and used really degrading speech towards them over the span of like....a year.] triggering content ends here!

so - how does this relate to micha?? this is a big reason she’s so “justice for all!! women deserve rights!! we’re powerful!!” because she saw & endured all the shit that her dad put them through and also saw how they got out of it. so now she really feels like being strong and powerful is the only way to compensate for those years that she felt weak.

but!! sad times over. anyways, after dealing with all that her mom and her decided that they’d had enough and moved to their own apartment and her mother filed for divorce. there life was a lot simpler but it was happier, because her father wasn’t in the picture. this is also why micha prefers the simplistic life and hates people who are materialistic now!!

anyways - wrapping this up because it’s 10 and i really need to post my intro lmao.

discovered her love for music!! her and her mom used to sing all the time and she loved it and was like huh maybe i should actually do this music stuff

then!! she joined dimensions for a year as a trainee, hated it, and left. thought she was done with being an idol, then got scouted by bc!! was super super excited, joined & then was a trainee for three years until her debut!!

that whole time she was mad because she felt like she was just being bounced around although she was working hard. a big big reason she’s unsatisfied with being in wish is because she thinks it wasn’t really fitting for her and they just kind of plopped her in there because they didn’t know where else to put her

but now we’re here!! she’s....very Extra. deems herself (and kind of is tbh) one of the least favorite members of wish, more in terms of the company than anything. because she’s very outspoken and speaks against issues when she sees them!!

the reason she’s like this is that she had behaved for all of training & like 2 years into wish’s career but when she realized that wasn’t getting her anywhere and her other member’s started getting opportunities and she didn’t she started acting out (because throwing tantrums makes things better!!)

she just wants a solo and it’s not happening rip

but the thing is she’s such an angel on stage and makes the money she’s supposed to for them so i mean she’s walking on thin ice but she’s not doing enough to get herself fired you know what i mean

as for her around wish, she’s a bit of a grandma?? always telling wish to hush & sit down somewhere, but also can’t be bothered to actually be their mom and take care of them lmao.

as for her public image, she’s known to be a cutesy-badass type?? because she’s real cute visually but like when her little rap parts get on the powerful woman pops out

which is fine,,, but being cute is exhausting and she’s tired and wants girl crush!!

also loves all women everywhere that’s very important

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE? :

Lorelei is chronologically 227 and physically in her late twenties to early thirties, so anywhere under legal age is where I draw the line at shipping romantically. That goes for both mental and physical age. Idc how old your immortal child is mentally or chronologically; if their appearance doesn’t match my limit at the least, I won’t be comfortable with it, sorry.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING? :

It’s sort of a yes and no for me. On one hand, I definitely ship based on chemistry. If our muses don’t click well, it simply won’t work, and I’m not going to force it to. On the other hand, if I read up on a muse before interacting with them, and I can already sort of assess a pretty good potential for something shippy, I'm not afraid to contact the mun and plot something out along those lines. Sometimes you just know. And it just tends to happen with Lorelei more often than I initially anticipated, especially because she tends to be rather emotionally unavailable due to circumstances regarding her canon.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY’RE CONSIDERED NS/FW? :

When it becomes implied that nsfw content will be taking place, that’s usually when I put it under the cut. Inappropriate touching/groping/grinding or even just an outright “do you want to have sex?” ---> “yes, please.”

WHO ARE OTHER MUSES YOU SHIP YOUR MUSE WITH? :

Canon muses tend to be pretty obsolete, minus Martin. I guess I also slightly ship her with Legate Rikke because that’s who she married in her first Skyrim file, lmao. I am currently plotting to test the waters with a ship between Lorelei and @mechanicosmia‘s Sotha Sil because I adore him and it’s something I see potential in, surprisingly. Oh, yeah and @grimhymns and I have a cute little ship between my bab and Serana as well.

With oc’s, there is only one ship that I’ve extensively plotted with @grimhymns, and that’s if she’s still on board with creating Remliel (an Aureal/Golden Saint oc). There have been brief mentions of others, but nothing really developed. I’m always open to welcoming more.

Now, crossover ships? Oh, now I have plenty of those that I would love to write at some point, if I can find willing muns to write them with me. One of my dream crossover ships is Lorelei x Aloy (from Horizon Zero Dawn). I’d at least love to write a close friendship between them if one isn’t willing to write a romantic ship with them. Lorelei would stan Aloy SO MUCH, you have no idea.

ANY NOTPS? :

Not particularly; there aren’t any ships that I’m so much vehemently against. Typically, I’m pretty open to the idea of trying out anything, so long as it makes sense and I can see the potential there. I mean, I definitely can’t see potential in Lorelei being with anyone who represents the opposite of her morality. I feel like there are probably some people out there who ship the HoK with Mehrunes Dagon, for example, lmao.

Well, yes, of course. I’m pretty oblivious af, so unless you ask me directly, I probably won’t pick up on your intentions unless they’re explicitly implied ic or something. And I’d feel uncomfortable if someone just outright decided/assumed that a ship will take place without consulting me about it.

I’m always open to it, but I like to ship non-romantic ships just as often as romantic ships. /shrug

Stanley Pines grew up in Glass Shard Beach alongside his twin brother, Stanford. From a very young age, the two were inseparable and each other's best friends. What Stanley lacked in smarts (a quality seemingly more present in Ford), he made up for in brawn. He was also proud enough to provide that brawn for the both of them in times of trouble.

As they grew up, Stan began to feel a bit jealous of his twin brother's accomplishments. Unfortunately this caused him to take it out on an invention of Ford's that (if it weren't sabotaged) could have funded Ford's entire higher education. This mistake unfortunately resulted in Ford getting kicked out of his parents' house before completing high school and forming a strong rift between Stan and his twin brother. After getting kicked out of his parents before even completing high school, Ford spent most of his time on his own making a living anyway he could, including combing beaches for buried treasure.

After a failed foray into combing beaches for buried treasure, Stan founded Stan Co. Enterprises. Through his self-managed company, Stan made and sold a variety of cheap and poorly-constructed household utilities, from Stan Co. Pitchforks (whose heads tended to fall off) to the "Sham Total" sham towels, both of which resulted in Stan Co. Enterprises, along with Stan himself, being banned from the state of New Jersey. The process repeated itself in Pennsylvania with his rash-inducing"Rip-Off" band aids. After the failure of his "Stan Vac" vacuums, Stan expanded his business out of the country, resulting in a heist gone awry in Colombia, which landed him in one of the country's prisons.

His whereabouts are currently unknown, but most likely in (or attempting to break out of) some form of prison.

Marvel Fired an Artist Over Hidden Messages in a Comic – in 2001

The last few days have been a swirl of controversy for Marvel Comics and artist Ardian Syaf. “X-Men Gold” #1, illustrated by Syaf, included various numbers and letters in the art that were references to a controversy in Syaf’s home country of Indonesia involving the Christian Governor of Jakarta, who claimed that his opponents were misusing a verse from the Quran to argue that people should not vote for a Christian as their Governor.

Most prominently in the comic were references to the Quran verse in question, Quran Surah 5:51, which Syaf drew on Colossus’ t-shirt. In response to the outpouring of anger against his actions, Syaf has released a statement stating, “My career is over.”

While free speech protections certainly protect Marvel from incurring any actual legal liability from Syaf’s actions, it is clear that major publishers are not interested in dealing with artists who sneak in political messages into their comics like this, especially when done in such a way that the editors of the issue would be hard-pressed to even get what he was referring to. The inclusion of “212” as a reference to the December 2 protests against the Jakarta Governor, is a good example. As the number is also the area code for New York City, and the X-Men live in New York, it would be very difficult for anyone to see it and say, “Oh, that must be a reference to a protest in Indonesia — that I didn’t know happened.” So Syaf might be accurate when he says that his career is over.

If so, it would not be a matter of Marvel Comics actually “firing” him, since Syaf was a freelancer who Marvel just contracted for a certain amount of issues of “X-Men: Gold.” They terminated his contract, but he was always an independent contractor and not a Marvel employee (unlike other artists who have signed Exclusive deals with Marvel or DC Comics. Syaf had previously worked for DC under an Exclusive deal. These artists are more like employees, as they receive employment benefits like health care from Marvel and DC like any other staffer).

Since most artists are freelancers, you very rarely have an instance of someone being actually fired over the use of hidden messages, especially since very rarely are hidden messages quite this controversial. Ethan Van Sciver trying to sneak the word “sex” into every page of an issue of “New X-Men,” for example, is a lot different than political protests. If the company is mad at them, they just won’t give them more work rather than “firing” them.

However, there is at least one other Marvel creator who actually was fired over a hidden message he put into a comic book.

Al Milgrom was a longtime Marvel staffer when “Universe X: Spidey” #1 was released in 2001. He had been an editor for a number of years (he famously edited “Marvel Fanfare” in the 1980s), as well as a writer and penciler, but he was best known for his work as an inker (he was part of Jim Starlin’s legendary “Warlock” run as Starlin’s inker on the series). By 2001, Milgrom had long stopped working in editorial, but he had a contract with Marvel for a staff inking job. He was one of three inkers on the “Universe X: Spidey” one-shot, working over Jackson Guice’s pencils (it was Milgrom, John Romita and John Stanisci).

On the bookcase, Milgrom surreptiously wrote a message along the spines of the books. It read, “Harras, ha ha, he’s gone! Good riddance to bad rubbish, he was a nasty S.O.B.”

This was a reference to Bob Harras, who had recently been terminated from his job as Marvel’s Editor-in-Chief, a position he had held since 1995 following a long run as the editor of the “X-Men” titles and a brief stint of one of five “co-Editors-in-Chief” that Marvel tried in 1994.

Amusingly enough, Milgrom’s actions had actually been caught and erased by his editor, but when the files had been reverted to use an earlier color scheme, they inadvertently used a version where Milgrom’s message was still there. Back in those days, Marvel and DC had a program called “First Look,” where retailers would get access to comics a week before they were released, presumably to see if they wanted to submit advance re-orders based on the content of the comic book. When the early copies went out, the message was discovered, Marvel halted the release of the comic, pulped it on their end and then re-published the comic without the offending message. Unlike Syaf’s messages, however, Milgrom’s message could have theoretically opened Marvel up to accusations of libel against Harras. It’s extremely unlikely, but at least possible. As such, Marvel was upset with Milgrom and he was fired from his staff job.

While he was fired from his staff job, however, Milgrom was still allowed to work for Marvel as a freelance inker, though he had to pay for the cost of the pulped comics, with the cost coming out of his paychecks. Milgrom’s old friend, Jim Starlin, made sure to have Milgrom ink him on a few fill-in issue of “Captain Marvel” Starlin was doing, as well as every other project Starlin did for Marvel in the early 2000s. Milgrom, though, mostly went to work at Archie Comics as an inker on a variety of titles, including a gig as Stan Goldberg’s main inker on “Betty and Veronica.” His last work for Marvel seems to be back in 2007, when he was one of many inkers on “Daredevil” #100, where he inked John Romita’s part of the issue.

As a hilarious follow-up, when the “Spidey” issue was eventually collected into a trade paperback, Marvel once again accidentally used the files with Milgrom’s message in it!

“Yep. We printed the wrong page,” Marvel Editor Dave Bogart told Rich Johnston. “As to what happened, it appears that the wrong version of the page was archived when the original comic was printed. Who’s fault is it? I couldn’t even begin to tell you, the book was printed well over a year ago. Should we have known better? Yes. But truth be told, no one who works in our trades program was even at Marvel at the time. And believe me, no disrespect was intended. I hope this clears things up.”

I suppose we’ll have to wait until “X-Men Gold” is collected to see if lightning strikes twice.
