So let's go do that.

So you know those DPxDC AUs where Tim makes a deal with either Clockwork or Danny to carry Ellie? Or Tim is a reborn Danny whose carrying Ellie instead (love these btw) in order to get Bruce out of the time stream.

Well what about instead of just Ellie, it's both her and Danny.

Danny and Ellie who were badly hurt by the GIW that they both had to revert into their cores. They are saved by their friends/family and are taken to Frostbite. There they are monitored and looked after only until they can finally the reform but they run into a problem. The two can't return to their home dimension due to the GIW activity and they cant stay to long in the Infinite Realms cause they are still halfas. Then one day CW appears to speak with Frostbite over something important about the two.

Meanwhile in the DCverse.

Tim might have figured a way to save Bruce from the timestream. A being known as Clockwork might be able to help him if he manages to summon the powerful 'Ancient'.

However he knows summoning and requesting it's help he will have to pay a price.

If it means getting Bruce back he'll do it...

There’s a missing kid.

No. Not missing.

A misplaced kid. A lost kid. An out-of-sight kid. Or some other hippy nonsense bullshit Pierce brought back from that deescalation workshop in Chicago.

Missing involve imagines of kidnapping and never seeing your kid again. So they’re anything but missing until they are. It’s bullshit, but so is bringing your six year old to the traveling carnival and not keeping a hold of them if you weren’t planning on losing them.

That’s why his Sara is held in her mother’s arms and why Hopper would like this not-missing kid found so he could get back to his daughter.

He’s not even on duty.

Hopper continues his tromp through the overgrown grass on the outskirts of the festival where the carnies half-hazardous dumped unused equipment when - “Mr. Hopper!”

He turns his head to see Steve running up to him and holding out his arm where a green wristband is located, “I’m allowed to be here.”

Steve falls into step next to him and asks, “Can you ride the Ferris Wheel with me? They won’t let me ride it again without a grown up.”

Hopper didn’t answer, looking behind a wooden cutout of a clown with an ice cream cone. Steve didn’t seem to mind, rambling on about how they don’t like if you stand up at the top of the Ferris Wheel until Hopper sees a kid.

“Hey,” He calls, marching towards them. “Your mom is looking for you, k - Munson. Of course.”

Of course it’s Eddie Munson’s big brown eyes looking up at him. Of course it’s Eddie Munson hovering over an anthill with caramel from a candy apple all over his arm.

He’s covered in ants.

“You can’t do that,” a new voice pipes up before Hopper can ask what fresh hell this is. He looks over at a little girl with big overalls and bandaids on her elbows. “Ants can bite you, and sometimes they sting people. Sometimes they sting and bite people so much that they die - the person, not the ant.”

“They’re not biting me,” Eddie says, tilting his head at his ant covered hand. “Maybe they trust me. Maybe I’m one of them and I’ll get ant powers. I’ll become an Ant Man.”

“Ant-Man doesn’t have ant powers,” Steve scoffs. “He just gets really small and really big. Ants can’t get really big. He’s called that cause he can shrink to the size of an ant, but he can get smaller so why does that matter? I guess ‘cause he can talk to ants but that’s dumb.”

“I can talk to ants.”

“They can’t understand you!”

Eddie grins like he’s about to get on Hopper’s goddamn nerves so he cuts in, “Hey, children! There’s a kid missing and all of you need to get back to your parents. Munson, Steve, random gi- who are you?”

The girl points at herself and then says, “Robin Buckley.”

“Rob- Robin Buckley? You’re the missing kid.”

“Oh?” She says. “I’m not missing, I’m right here.”

Hi it's just to let you know that the official romanization of Revaan's name is Raverne ! Also they have romanized Baul's name to Baur !

I do like Raverne though, I think it's got a nice fancy sound to it! (I had kinda suspected it was going to be an R instead of an L, so the fact that it's SO close to Laverne except for that is hilarious to me personally.) and Dragoneye Duke is honestly probably the best translation for his title, I wasn't envying the localizers that one. :') Baur instead of Baul I was NOT expecting, but in retrospect I think his name's supposed to be a reference to the Bauru crocodile, so that actually makes way more sense!

someone else also said Meleanor has become Maleanor, which is the REALLY weird one to me, because I was so surprised it was written as Mel instead of Mal in the first place?! oh god no I can't decide which one I like better. 😭 (I wonder if they might change it to Mal...they have made romanization changes before) (like I remember House of Distraction being corrected to House of Destruction in Playful Land) (I did check and she's still Mel for now, but I dunno, they might Mal her up and some point and save me from having to make a decision about which one to use) (HECK I CAN'T DECIDE)

Twisted Wonderland self-aware!Yuu except they’re empathic.

When I say self-aware!Yuu I don’t mean a scenario where Yuu transmigrated into Twisted Wonderland with memories intact.

When I say self-aware!Yuu I mean someone who knows themselves better than anyone else.

They know they have flaws. They know that, sometimes, their flaws will get in the way. Whether it’s shutting down emotionally, not being able to express themselves properly, or something to do with a physical ability. Their flaws will always follow them around. Even in Twisted Wonderland.

And yet, self-aware!Yuu is still kind. Still loving all of their strengths and flaws.

Ace needing a place to stay after Riddle off’d-his-head? “Yes, of course you can sleepover.”

Deuce breaking down after letting his delinquent side out? “No, you’re not a bad guy— you just protected me and Grim from those bullies!”

Riddle having a crisis after his overblot? “I don’t accept your apology. Not yet at least. But I can understand why acted this way… you’re allowed to feel angry about your past. You didn’t deserve that kind of treatment.”

No matter how wrong the opponent is, self-aware!Yuu always empathizes with them in the end.

Maybe one day, someone confronts them about it. I can see Leona or Azul or Rollo and maybe Jamil. They’re people who have experienced and or seen how terrible people can be.

“Why are you so nice all the time? You’re too thought. Too kind. Good people like you always end up last.”

Perhaps self-aware!Yuu will look at them with a stoic face. Perhaps a shocked expression, accompanied by a frantic gasp. Perhaps even small laugh at their question. And just as the confronting student was about to retort again, self-aware!Yuu will smile.

“Well, I’m not a good person. I just do what I think is right.”

Self-aware!Yuu will sit down, watching activities unfold around them— heart still bursting full of kindness. They’ll pat the empty space beside them. An invitation, but it’s up to the student to take the initiative.

“It’s everyone’s first time living after all. May as well make it kind.”

Soon enough, if the student plucks their courage, they’ll sit and slowly learn how to become self-aware too.
