“fuck… this is insane and why now after all these years? and why feyza? she didn’t deserve to be murdered, nobody does…” all these questions luka was asking because he was struggling to come to terms with reality. that at any moment someone else could die and there wasn’t nothing anyone could do but wait. “i’m not sure if i should take that as a compliment.” an amused hum trails behind his word. he was a tad disappointed to hear the past tense of like. they had been done for a long time now and maybe he was holding onto the past too much. he did know he was reading too much into things and that if he continued, he might push her away again. “we all do things just to survive, skye.” luka wishes he could reassure her better. take away her guilt and pain. he wasn’t good with words though. and he wasn’t sure there was anyway he could show her differently. “pushing people away meant protecting yourself. no one should blame you for that. including you.” his knees become weak when she reciprocates the hug. a spark ignites him and he has to remind himself again… he’s reading too much into this. especially when she pulls back. “i hope so. westhaven isn’t the worst but there’s a lot of bad memories here. but i dunno if i have it in me to ditch this place...” his voice falters after the words fall out of his mouth. he always talked about leaving this place but he wasn’t sure he was strong enough to move and there was also good memories here. ones with his siblings and friends. there was also the good memories with skye. he was almost too sentimental to leave. “i get that. you know… i cut my mom off finally? i guessed i finally realized i needed time too.” luka felt a little bad saying that aloud. he knew he did what was right for himself when he cut his mom off but there was guilt too. skye and him weren’t really different. “you can look forward to that.” he winks. his palms forming sweat before continuing. he didn’t want to step on her feet and imply he was wanting more. he did want to see her again though. “well, you do that by going to the spring festival with me. it’ll be fun to go with a friend. i’ll even pay for everything.”

"it  has  to  have  some  sort  of  connection  to  this  one  too.  don't  you  think?  if  it's  not  the  same  one  then  ...  it's  someone  who  is  mimicking  this  person."  they  had  to  have  been  involved  in  some  sort  of  way  with  the  previous  set  of  murders  that  have  happened.  the  way  it's  starting  to  happen  again  just  proves  that  no  one  really  is  safe.  'why  now?'was  also  another  question  that  skye  had  been  asking  herself.  "you  can  be  a  bit  much,  can't  you?  i  don't  know  maybe  that  was  one  of  the  reasons  why  i  liked  you  when  we  first  met."  in  a  way,  she  realized  later  than  she  should  have  that  he  was  just  trying  to  show  her  that  he  was  there  for  her.  he  wasn't  ever  trying  to  do  that  to  hurt  her  and  she  turned  him  away  entirely  when  she  shouldn't  have.  that's  what  she  regrets  the  most.  "thank  you!  i  just  ...  i  wish  i  would've  just  seen  that  then  just  pushing  everyone  away  who  was  just  trying  to  help.  i  let  myself  be  alone  because  i  thought  it  was  easier  and  if  anything  it  was  a  lot  worse.  maybe  you  don't,  but  i've  been  starting  to  blame  myself  more."  it  was  one  of  the  main  factors  of  why  they  had  ended  in  the  first  place.  only  if  she  had  realized  that  he  was  just  trying  to  be  the  good  person  that  he  was  when  she  had  first  met  him.  that  was  one  of  the  reasons  she  fell  for  him  in  the  first  place.  when  he  wrapped  his  arms  around  her,  she  wasn't  expecting  it  at  first  and  would  wrap  her  arms  around  him;  staying  there  for  a  moment  before  pulling  back  from  it.  "that's  the  goal..  and  hey,  who  knows?  maybe  we'll  both  find  our  happy  endings  and  they'll  be  far,  far  away  from  here."  skye  didn't  mind  the  hug...  if  anything?  she  really  needed  one  but  wouldn't  of  been  the  one  to  say  it.  "i'd  hope  so,  but  figured  maybe  you  would've  deleted  it  after  everything  and  i  can't  say  that  i'd  blame  you.  and  of  course  not!  should  i  have  just  put  a  big  x  or  mad  emoji  next  to  your  name?"  a  nod  of  her  head  followed  when  she  listened  to  him  speak.  with  this  conversation  it  felt  like  they  weren't  enemies  anymore  or  on  bad  terms.  that  life  just  worked  out  the  way  it  did  for  them  and  they  stood  a  chance  to  live  in  this  town  together.  "you  wouldn't  of  bothered  me..  i  guess  i  just  needed  more  time  to  process  it  all  than  i  realized."  genuinely,  she  couldn't  remember  the  last  time  that  they  have  had  a  civil  conversation  with  each  other.  "you  have  a  really  good  point  and  i  wish  i  could  learn  to  not  stress..  but,  really,  how  do  you  do  that?"  there  was  a  chance  she  was  going  to  miss  it  on  purpose.  when  she  rethought  about  it  she  figured  it  would've  been  a  good  thing  to  get  out  of  her  house  for  a  change.  "as  you  should  be!  and  come  on..  i  was  trying  to  be  nice  here.  should  i  be  looking  forward  to  see  you  at  a  westbay  event?  i  guess  i'll  just  have  to  remember  this  for  next  time."  her  voice  full  of  sarcasm  with  a  playful  eyeroll.

so. interesting thing i thought of for Fritz and David ft Lil Mike and The Afton Family circa 1975.

so like. it's 1975. David, Mike, Charlie, and Sammy are in the 5-6 range. they're in Kindergarten.

then one day, Fritz is actually able to get to David so they can walk home together (because uh. Skyler's Busy and can't pick them up on time, and y'know. Trevor.) sooner than normal, and it turned out that Mike was getting picked up by William at the same time, so David just goes "Bye, Mickey!! :D Hi, Mr. Afton!!" while Fritz is just. staring like this ಠ_ಠ

so they're sitting there like "You were serious?? You weren't joking????" while David's going "No Shit?? Why'd You Think I Was Joking??"

William just kinda. notices that they're both off by themselves, and this was a day where William was later than normal with picking Mike up, so he just. offers them a ride home. since William can kinda tell they were about to start walking home by themselves.

so uh. this was how Fritz found out that David Was Legitimately Friends With Michael And The Emily Twins. and also how he and William met. (ignore the fact that William is going to kill these two around five years in the future. just ignore that and you won't feel like crying 👍)
