it's really more important now than ever before to appreciate actual real creatives. I love seeing brushstrokes that have different line weightedness. i love hearing music with variable dynamics. I love reading fics with a unique language style. When you put YOU into your work, it's very obvious and it's very wonderful

Went to this home decor store and all the "artworks" of gods?AI generated!! Not a single one was hand painted or real art

I know some are gonna say "Don't see ai, see the divine" but there's is nothing divine about these! A stick figure drawing of radhakrishna by a toddler would be more soulful than this!

It's just wrong on so many levels, so many real artists work day and night on making their art pieces, dedicate themselves to the service of the divine through their art and still don't get paid fairly and this ai stuff is selling all over market?!

There’s a business called Children of Kahn that does nothing but post AI generated videos like this and it’s so funny but also I’m deeply perplexed by what business model this is supposed to be.

one of my professors decided to require us to use ai so I decided to educate her instead. I'll update if I lose points on the assignment but I couldn't fucking care less

i dont like gen AI much as the next artist but i think conversations around it have shown how many young artists have conceptions of what "art" is that wouldnt include works like readymades

little snapshots of a mod i have been working on for a few days, cenozoicraft, understandably based around adding cenozoic animals to the minecraft world along with neolithic tools. its heavily based around hunting and utilizing animal parts. most of what is here is tamable and rideable with fun little taming mechanics, so dont expect to be able to waltz up to a smilodon. more to come soon

I don’t. Hot take but I actually want to have to clean and have to do all the hard parts of life that nobody likes to do. It’s a part of living. You know how unsafe it would be to have ai WASHING THE DISHES YOU EAT OFF OF??? You know how many mistakes ai would make with your finances??? Also there are people who clean and help with taxes for a living. Using ai in aspects of life you don’t wanna do still takes jobs away from people and it makes your living experience worse. You need to do boring and challenging stuff sometimes.

Saw a vid that claimed that tfothou was "pro ai" because of a thing Madeline said about how someday ai could be used to write TV and movies, and it made me want to eat drywall.

You are not ment to side with Madeline Usher. Nothing in the show is saying you should side with her, especially not with ai. Madeline is obsessed with the idea of immortality and wants to use ai to do it but none of her technological achievements get off the ground, at least not further than managing Fortunato's records and business dealings. Like, the one ai she makes, lenore's ai, is a broken, hollowed out shell of lenore that only says one word on repeat. It's about the fruitlessness that is seeking immortality and the hollow lifelessness of ai. It's not pro-ai at all.
