the best way to get better at anatomy and proportion is to do some life studies. there are a lot of sites you can use that will give you (generally) good poses to work with. if its at all possible for you though i Definitely recommend taking a life drawing course. one of my favorite classes was the life drawing class i took where i was the Only actual student in the class and everyone else were people in their 60s+ just taking it for fun. my prof was incredible and would give us really great demonstrations and knowledge about skeletal and muscular structures. also the models we got in class were way more diverse than a lot of the models online sites use

life studies can be hard when you first start though. it really helps to understand sighting (which is where you use your pen/fingers to figure out angles and sizes and stuff). heres a more detailed explanation

i did some figure studies the other day and i left a lot of my sighting lines. i use them not only to figure out the angles of limbs but also to help me keep things in proportion. ALSO watch your negative spaces!! that will help you get forms/proportion right too

there are also a lot of "proportion rules" that can help you when just drawing bodies without a reference. A Lot of rules.... the face alone has So many..

when i draw figures without a reference (which is..most of the time..) i think in terms of tubes. really helps with foreshortening (so do contour lines). but i still operate under the guidelines i learned from life drawing in terms of proportions/muscle/bone structure. ive gotten to the point where i just eyeball it while sketching but if something looks wrong i just check my proportions. the more you do it the more second nature it becomes which helps you focus on learning new parts of anatomy. i usually draw these figures first then just draw clothes over them, which then helps with folds/draping and stuff like that

i hope this is understandable lol............ these are all just the vague rules i remember im sure theres so many more and i am still learning myself but i hope this helps you get started. trying to find good proportion sheets/tips online can be hard and just result in some really basic stuff like the 7/8 heads tall rule which is sometimes 7.5 and i just 😵 not helpful, especially since its not even always correct. i still basically use the same general rule but slightly modified (in red). in green are some proportion rules i know (plus a couple in red), and in blue is just a little more detail

again if you have the opportunity at all i Really recommend taking a life drawing class. you might be able to find some good videos on youtube or something too. ALSO look at yourself in the mirror a lot! like really analyze yourself, the length of your limbs, where your hands fall, how wide your shoulders are, stuff like that. just Look. whenever im stuck on a pose i always go and pose in a mirror for reference. in general im always just trying to learn from the world around me :)

thinkin about one of those time travel agency stories with a seamstress who makes them historically accurate clothing but like. it would also probably be beneficial to have some sort of catch-all anthropologist or archivist or something, someone who keeps track of where they've been and what they've done, and who briefs the travelers on customs and culture of the time and place they're going so they don't act too out of place, right? and just thinkin about how the seamstress and archivist would both have to be meticulous in their work, but they're both historians, so they have this little rivalry maybe. the seamstress is dramatic and snarky and precise, and the archivist is more reserved and witty, and every time they have to interact it ends in either passive aggressive back-and-forth or a straight up argument. they have their own little competition. to everyone else on the team, it seems like they hate each other. just always at each other's throats.

and that's fair, because the team doesn't really understand the dynamic they have, even just in the nature of their jobs. they're historians, the intellectual basis of the team's missions, the reason they blend in and get to where they need to be in the first place - but the two of them have a quiet place in the agency. the archivist is usually in her library, making meticulous notes, pulling books from shelves day in and day out to plan for the next mission, to make sure her team knows what they're doing and where they're going without getting themselves killed or hunted or worse. and the seamstress, showy and demanding as she is for cooperation, acknowledgement, genuinely just needs information and patience to do her job. the team never seems to understand the intricacies of her work, the details of the coats and dresses and shoes and hats she sends them off in, how out-of-place they'd look with sleeves from the year before or the wrong patterns embroidered on their hems. the archivist and seamstress are necessary and wholly overlooked and of COURSE they see that in each other.

the team thinks they hate each other, and that's fair, because they don't know that the archivist leaves the seamstress pages and pages of notes about the exact year the team is heading back to, the culture of the town, the nature of aristocracy and the parties they throw, detailed with annotation and apology and commiserating comments that make her laugh in her studio alone. they don't know that the seamstress makes note of the eras the archivist talks about most, and keeps scraps and free time to make pieces to toss loftily at her in the library, with excuses of mistaken orders and a wasted garment that she might as well have someone put to use. the team doesn't see the two listless and worried when they're on a mission, waiting in the library, in the studio, busying themselves and hoping they did their job well enough, that their friends will return safe and successful. they're rivals and peers and sometimes they're alone and only have each other to depend on.

Coming on here and saying fezco and lexis relationship is over and they are never going to be together, like that makes no sense ,sam has literally set up the most dramatic and plot heavy arc for them in season 3. Do I think that fezco and Lexi are both in for a hard ride, yes absolutely (especially fez). Do I think that fezco is emotionally messed up, duh. Do I think that in season 3 fezco will push Lexi away because he thinks she deserves better than him and she will fight to be with him because she loves him, yes 100%. As hard and long as it’s going to be do I think they will get together In the end, absolutely! The negative vibes people are putting out is not it, do we really need more misery rn??? Time for more Magic story speculation. This time, my guesses on how the remaining story chapters for March of the Machine are going to play out.

The two remaining side stories I feel are gonna be Zendikar and Theros. Neither plane has featured prominently in the main story, but we know two of the compleated walkers are on them, so we're long overdue for an update.

Zendikar I feel like is going to wind up being Sorin vs Nahiri, the final round, and it's probably gonna end in Sorin killing Nahiri, although there's a small (5%) chance he might just seal her away. Depends on whether WotC has figured out what they want to do with Nahiri.

Theros might finally let us see Niko Aris and/or Calix fighting against the Phyrexians, or it might focus on some of the legendary creatures. Regardless, it'll probably end in a confrontation with Ajani, and end in either his death or him escaping to set up for the eventual return of the Phyrexians.

Main story Chapter 9 will be the good guys rallying against New Phyrexia finally. We'll probably get our follow ups of what is happening on the planes we saw in Chapter 3 (Kaladesh, Kaldheim, and Capenna) as well as the final battle versus the surviving Praetors, with the good guys delivering the final blow either by the end of this one or the very beginning of Chapter 10.

Honestly, I feel like Chapter 10 is going to be the immediate aftermath wrap-up, probably gonna reveal what was going on with Jace if Chapter 9 doesn't, and set things up for Aftermath to more thoroughly explore the fallout from the invasion. It's probably going to be where we see the first signs of whatever change is coming to the Multiverse.

Those are my guesses. Let me know what you think, and we'll have to see how good I am when the next story chapters are posted.
