On one hand I want to agree with you but on the other hand hinobi already seems so so irresponsible with every game and piece of tech they have ever made I think they WOULD have these games available. I think cy-bugs are 100% something the glitch techs have to fight off every other week tbh. The hinobi store headquarters became the FNAF security office at least once I know it in my heart.

Headcanons for Boss!Victoria Neuman x Reader

Meeting

Fresh out of college, you started working at the Federal Bureau of Superhuman Affairs (FBSA, thank you very much). Your family had an awful history with Compound V, with your mother's side shooting it up into their kids like candy to make mini-superheroes, so you wanted to make sure work and restrictions were enforced that enforced everyone's safety. You never wanted anyone to go through what you did.

You had an impressive resume and an even more impressive academic history, but that came with few friends. You bonded with Hughie first — he was the one to interview you and, unbeknownst to you, sing your praises to Victoria — but you weren't expecting to really bond with anyone else.

Since you hadn't had any other experiences outside of internships, academics, and part-time jobs you held during college and high school, you were assigned to very low-level work, and the colleagues you met with, while amicable, weren't anyone you really had much in common with, so you mostly stuck to daily texts and meme exchanges with Hughie.

However, Victoria made it a point to treat you better than anyone else at your internships (or even university) had. It started small, with her coming over and making conversation with you since you both had shared the same alma mater. She would bring you your favorite coffee when she stopped by Jitter Bean, which she inexplicably knew, and give you little knick-knacks like gum and stress balls to keep you occupied. It was sweet.

Eventually, though, it became larger. She’d ask for a work meeting, and while you’d meet up at one of the lovely but stuffy cafés in SoHo and talk this-and-that about work, it always devolved into you smiling and laughing with each other. Too,

Throughout this, you started seeing Victoria as a friend, honestly. You exchanged numbers and sent her photos of your crafts and pets, and she, her cooking. You talked to each other about your hopes and aspirations.

Eventually, the supposed work meeting invitations stopped, and she began flatly asking you out to coffee or lunch. Eventually, she started inviting you over to her house, too, and you met her daughter and pets.

Meanwhile, all this time, you're freaking out because you are very quickly falling for her, but she is your boss, goddammit. It's your first job, ever, and you feel like a fish out of water. Anyway, you're probably reading way too much into it, and it's inappropriate to think of your boss in this way.

However, when Victoria shows up outside your apartment one night with flowers and a small, coy smile on your face, things change.

You are always her plus-one. Always.

Food and drinks are a very big part of your relationship; growing up in Red River Institute, Vicky didn't have access to very good cuisine, so she always makes it a point to cook, eat, and drink yummy things. You love taking each other out to places in NYC, whether they're extravagant eateries or small family businesses, and treating each other.

And, to a similar point: coffee, coffee, coffee. Vicky's not particularly picky about her coffee — most of the time, it's to fuel her throughout her long shifts — so you two often go to the 24/7 Jitter Bean at least twice a day.

Vicky has a hard time taking care of herself; as much as she loves to cook, she oftentimes forgets to eat, and puts her main focus on her daughter. Because of that, you make it a point to always bring her water, food, snacks, etc. throughout the day, and hijacked her phone to set reminders to take care of herself when you weren't there to pester her (she finds it very cute, though, even if she'll playfully wave you off).

You both have each other on Life360, with Vicky suggesting it after the courtroom incident, and you both definitely do that dorky thing couples do where they send stuff like "charge ur phone" or, when the app is glitching and showing you in a river or some weird location, "what are you doing at __?" .

Even though you're dating, Vicky still expects top-notch work, and pushes you to work your hardest. You may be cute, but that's not how you get promotions, pumpkin.

(Expect at least two promotions during your relationship, though).

Vicky will often ask you to work after hours on random stuff (that does need to be done, for what it's worth) and surprise you with a kiss and something sweet, whether it's a trinket she found that reminded her of you or a bar of chocolate.

While Vicky was charmed by you from the start, the end-all-be-all to her was you and Zoe getting along, and you two do, stemming from you and Zoe's bonding over the Warrior Cats series. You help Zoe with her math homework every Tuesday and Thursday, and you three go out for a fun activity and lunch on Saturdays.

It's moments you share like these where Vicky really, really knows she wants to marry you.

However, Vicky does have her anxieties about your relationship. While she's let one or two things slip, her past isn't full knowledge to you, and she fears that you'll see or think of her differently if you knew who she was, what she'd done, and what she'd be capable of.

When you notice what's wrong, she wouldn't be fully forthcoming about the reasons why, but as long as you responded with care, comfort, and an affirmation that you'll always be by her side, she'll be able to loosen up.

I don't imagine her being very public about your relationship, but I doubt she'd hide it, either. I think it would be very much an "open secret" in the office.

I immediately knew I had to go take a closer look at the glitces at the end of each Visualizer again as a "subtle visual code" stuck out to me, and I always felt like we were missing something with them. Ive attached a compilation of each in order

Each Visualizer has 6 "glitches" and their duration varies. So I interpreted the length of each glitch flash as a long (dash) or short (dot) in Morse Code. 1 am 100% on everything except EiA.

I've been in this shitty but also awesome Undertale fandom for a pretty long time. There's lots of things i love and hate about this damn fan base, but that's not the topic rn- Soooo, since i've been in this fandom, OF COURSE I ALSO MADE AU'S- actually, i made a whole new multiverse- Idk how i did this when people out here struggling to make a proper au- Let's say my creativity might get crazy sometimes- Anyways- So basically i have a multiverse, and im currently working on reference sheets. BUT IT'S TAKING TOO LONNGGGGGGG- cuz instead of only drawing Sanses, i also draw all the monsters(if the au has them) detailed so it's taking more longer. I also have lots of shits happening in my life and sadly i don't have a supportive family so it's taking too long to finish my drawings sometimes. Like i said, currently im working on reference sheets. So i'll be focused on making them, which means i won't be drawing normal drawings etc. regularly. Im not gonna talk about the whole lore here, cuz it's too hard to explain one without putting another one in since all of them are connected in a way, and im getting distracted so easly so im not really able to keep the topic in my hands. SOOOO, i already finished the reference sheets of MemoryTale, but since it was my first time doing a reference sheet, they kinda look a bit bad- I think MemorySwap references looks more better ngl- After MemorySwap, there's DarkTale, UnderGlitch, BeatsTale, SplasTale and UnderTime, and these au's have small amount of monsters, so i don't think it'll take too long to finish them. FairyTale/FairyTale au's monsters gonna have pretty different desings since it wouldn't hurt to make small changes. Even though UnderNova is the main au, there's lots of things like new animal/plant types, some important buildings, mystic items, zones, a book where i'll draw the important characters that was in UnderNova's history, and a whole map- And i'll have to draw these all- There's also multiple Sanses in this au, so OF COURSE IT'S GONNA TAKE TOO LONG- Which is why i left UnderNova to final. It's gonna be a final boss for me- And im cooked-

im curious - and just to clarify, this question is coming from another system(haii its cross/x (and roxie!!), weve talked before -w-) - what are your thoughts on plural vanessa/vanny? like, any form. vanessa is plural prior and a headmate is manipulated by glitchtrap. vanny is her headmate (‘reformed’? still messed up?) post-sb. vanessa forms headmates post-sb. glitchtrap is her headmate. etc.

like, do you dislike them due to vanny being evil in-game? do you prefer them if they exclude vanny, or any ‘evil’ headmates? do you like them only if vanny reforms? etc etc, you can go into your own detail, im just trying to think of questions that might make it make a bit more sense, lol.

Hi Cross (and Roxie)!! Sorry for the late ass response lmao- y'know how it goes, but I've gotten to it now.

I personally have conflicting thoughts on plural Vanny/Vanessa. Thing is, I think Vanessa is in the position to have formed a system given how she describes her childhood. I think that her being plural prior to the “vannification” as I call it is a good start, but ultimately my big concern- and one I do have while writing Vanny- is that when it simulates or is a mental illness, it pins those symptoms as dangerous or causing violence. That being said, I also feel that there are good ways about it.

Her being an actual system and not becoming one because of Glitchtrap helps. One mistake a lot of people make is making Glitchtrap almost.. "give" her DID.

As for how I think it would work best, I would say something probably akin to my own writing of Vanny, which isn’t me boasting, just that that’s how I think Vanny works best. Basically, I would say that maybe not just one headmate gets manipulated but the whole system, and Vanny is a headmate that split/formed to cope with their situation through a complete and total disconnect from and desensitization to what they’re being made to do. I think that the idea of Vanny being just an “evil alter ego” is a problem for me, and this interpretation (as well as my own writing of her- V.A.N.N.Y- where the V.A.N.N.Y. mask serves as a manufactured persona that serves the purpose of letting Valerie pretend that she’s not herself so she can cope with the fact that she feels she has no choice but to do this) kind of clears that up for me. Bc ultimately alters are people too and portraying them as just the evil ones rubs me the wrong way. So instead of Vanny just being the evil alter ego that people usually write her as when using the DID path, making her an actual alter who has a purpose that’s important to the system and stems from their situation is more realistic and respectful imo.

I think that system!Ness & Vanny would see Vanny being most like a secondary host, fronting to handle the things that Glitchtrap is making them do to provide Vanessa and the others with a mental barrier that allows them to cope with it, with Vanny herself being formed to be detached and apathetic so she can get the job done. Having Vanny as a headmate then be still sympathetic, still redeemable and still a victim of that same abuse clears up a lot of the problems imo, and doesn't paint Ness being a system as the reason for the murders.

That's the route I personally would go- Vanessa is plural prior and Vanny is split thanks to Glitchtrap's abuse to cope. As for the other ones you suggested, I'll run thru my thoughts on those fast too bc genuinely I love plural characters and this concept does have a lot of potential.

Vanessa is plural prior and a headmate is manipulated by Glitchtrap- not too unlike "Vanny splits thanks to Glitchtrap". Has similar potential to me. Vanny is an alter who maybe handles that kind of situation thanks to their dad, which unfortunately places her in Glitchtrap's way. Very cool. Also keeps Vanny feeling realistic and sympathetic.

Vanny is her headmate post-sb- could go either way. I think that Vanny having kind of a slow redemption post-sb as she's released from Glitchtrap's hold and has to find her footing again is interesting, and Vanny being Vanessa's headmate could work for that.

Vanessa forms headmates post-sb- not realistic, however, I do like the idea. Again, it comes from my whole "Vanny is a persona made to distance Vanessa from her crimes" thing. That could form into an alter, if you consider her being "possessed" and how that might fuck with her mind long term. I like this. I really don't mind a bit of well meaning fantasy/sci-fi writing of systems, in fact I think they're fun!

Glitchtrap is her headmate- this is the one I have a problem with, akin to a simple "Vanny is Vanessa's evil serial killer alter". It makes the villain- the murderer- Vanessa's headmate, and by proxy the danger her plurality yk?

In general, I like the idea of well-meaning and informed system Vanessa interpretations, and Vanny being a headmate, but I get picky about the execution. I only like them if Vanny is treated as sympathetic or redeemable, since I think that minimizes the risk of "evil DID" narratives and treats them rather as survivors of abuse who've done really fucking wrong because of it.

This is a lot to take in but that's my thoughts! Thanks for the ask :]
