Listen, at the end of the day, it's a game. It's fiction and if you don't like something about the game, you are free to headcanon whatever you want unless you're intention is to be a gigantic, obnoxious dickhead. I have made my own personal canons for most games I play. I like making NPCs, it's the creator in me. For example my ''canon'' Inquisitor is in his mid-forties, gay, and has a teenage son who I later decided to use that son as a Rook for a playthrough. It's fun, doesn't hurt anyone, and I get to enjoy myself. The devs have said half-elves don't have any traits from their elven parent but I draw them with smaller pointed ears, reflective eyes, and so forth. I give the elves body hair or facial hair if I'm feeling particularly spicy. Have fun with the game, if you don't like something, don't acknowledge it or change it to suit your world, your canon. It makes the community great to see them take something and add their twists to it. JUST DON'T BE A DICK. Don't attack other fans or the devs because you're unhappy or you think your canon is law and everything else is crap. Speak on the shit that is wrong, like in Inquisition there was a lot of white-washing and people were making straight mods for Dorian and Sera. That shit is awful and we need to squash that shit when it pops up. Have fun don't be a dick. At the end of the day, it's a game - it's not that serious. If you feel the urge to be a dick just for the fuck of it, go drink some water and find some grass to touch.
