Everyone in The Outsiders is reasonably passable for the age they're playing because most of them were only like a year or two older than their characters, but things get trippy when you consider the fact that Ralph and Tommy at the start of filming were the same ages as Darry and Sodapop.

#granted Collagen Georg is an outlier and not representative of how the average person his age looks (at ANY age)#but still it's a crazy thing to think about #also it's funny that he has the second biggest age gap with his character (first being Patrick Swayze obvs)#but looks the most accurate even taking into consideration the fact that Johnny's supposed to look 2 years younger than he really is #The Outsiders #Ralph Macchio #C. Thomas Howell #Darrel Curtis #Sodapop Curtis
