Also I went with a Legends-style 'Dex to make things somewhat easier for myself, so it's largely variants.

Dreamy Pokemon

Pokemon created due to the Foot Clan's misuse of the powers of the Valon Region's (formerly) only local Legendary Emiyar. All of them are references to non-pokemon things (mostly Mario and SMG4 because of course), a few of them are technically Regional Variants, and they're the only Pokemon who can use the Region's Power-Up Gimmick... which I haven't worked out the details for yet.

Dreamy Breloom and Yocelio are based on a mix of Mario and Yoshi, with Mario's elements becoming much more prominent in Yocelio's design. Mostly because it gets rounder.

Legendaries

Emiyar The Dreaming Pokemon Fairy/Psychic Ability: (Dreamer Forme)Comatose/(Lucid Forme)Magic Bounce [Haven't fully figured out how it changes forms yet but it involves a Key Item]

The Pokemon World's physical embodiment of Dreams (hence why it's name is REM but backwards and phonetic). It resides within the Dream World... and as that implies, yes, the Valon Region is technically Emiyar's dream. Sort of. It's complicated.

The Shredder's been trying to harness Emiyar's seeming ability to alter reality (it can only do that in the Dream World, but since he's in the Dream World he hasn't realized that yet) both to find a way back to his own world and just because reality warping is nearly every supervillain's pipe dream, the combination of stress and exposure to foreign code has resulted in new Pokemon that don't properly fit in the Valon dream and have fragments of Emiyar's power within them.

Dreamer Forme Emiyar looks like a cross between a Dumbo Octopus and a brain with Magical Girl Mascot Animal vibes (some characters have referred to it as a "Chibi Krang," given the context), while Lucid Forme looks more like a typical fairy.

Every other Legendary on the list is a Dreamy Pokemon.

Somniserrata The Dream Shredder Pokemon Steel/Fairy Ability: Waking Nightmare- The Pokemon functions as though it has the Dark Type alongside its actual Types

After realizing where the Dreamy Pokemon were coming from, Shredder decided to make his own personal abomination. Unfortunately for him, there were five very annoying side-effects

Delaware:

- Overly stressed all the time, he has a complex where he needs to feel important. So he opts to do work that would normally fall on the other 49 so he can seem important to them.

- He's the busyman of Delmarva, he gets everything squared away.

- He has the biggest, most effective puppy dog eyes in the world. They're just big and sad and it's hard to say no!

Pennsylvania:

- Very active, has a gym in her home for sure even though she prefers to go outside and work out.

- She and Delaware are very close, as the first two states they became good friends (and New Jersey!). She does her best to protect Delaware when she can.

- Very straightforward, she doesn't mess around. You always know what to expect from her.

New Jersey:

- Loud. So very loud. Always wearing gaudy makeup and unappealing clothing.

- She's very loyal as a friend though–her and New York hang out constantly, with half of their time dedicated to debating something or other loud enough for everyone around them to hear.

- She and New York have been in a battle over the ownership of the Statue of Liberty for a long time. Since the statue is technically on an island that belongs to her, but New York will not give it up. She owns the gift shop.

Georgia:

- One of my favorite states, I love her and her design very dearly.

- I like to think of her as a Mary Sue type, where she's always busy and has an overwhelming amount of work to handle, but she does it all so easily and so effectively that you'd never guess how much she does.

- Also, she owns a peach orchid absolutely.

Connecticut:

- "Um, actually—🤓👆" embodied.

- Everyone is sick of how entitled he is, because he acts like he's so much more intelligent than everyone.

- Which is funny because he is really really smart, but still not as smart as he pretends to act.

- He's one of the only states that's friends with Ohio.

Massachusetts:

- Do not utter the word "revolution" around this man or he will go nuts.

- Very quick to act, very quick to anger. He likes to set things on fire—he always carries a lighter on him— and argue. If he ever came face to face with England, it would probably go very badly.

- He despises tea, to the point he physically cannot drink it.

Maryland:

- The mediator of Delmarva, this man is the master of solving problems. He's the sweetest.

- Also, the best chef in the country aside from Louisiana and I cannot stress that enough. You know this man has a BIG kitchen in his house.

South Carolina:

- The bimbo of the country okay.

- I just love the idea of her being so determined to be a farmer, but struggling so much because she's just not designed to be a farmer. But she won't give up even though she probably should.

- She's good friends with Georgia but her and North Carolina definitely have a rivalry going on.

New Hampshire:

- Can this man calm down? Please?

- He basically bounces off the walls, definitely has ADHD, and always down to do somethint stupid.

- He spends a good portion of his time bugging Vermont because she's easy to annoy. New Hampshire and Vermont are very close though. The siblings ever.

Virginia:

- I had to make one of them emo okay.

- She's the confident leader of Delmarva for sure. As the first state colonized, she's got a good heart for leadership. She's the state that works the closest with America directly.

- Despite being emo, she's very sweet.

Author's Notes: I was away at the start of the week and was genuinely starting to panic about getting this fic done because this was the big one - we made it!

Whenever there was an additional week in the month, you were, as Santiago put it, allowed time off.

The problem with time off from them, they were dull.

You thought it was just a poor excuse to make sure you didn’t get bored of the boys but you questioned how you ever would. Normally, you’d still meet up with them, grabbing a coffee with Will, lunch with Santiago the next day. An immediate regretful gym session with Benny before finishing with a catch up with Frankie but sex was off the cards.

Until tonight.

You wondered whether to message them individually, make it interesting, yet it was just easier to send a message on the group chat. All of them simply responded by giving the message a thumbs up reaction, nothing more… which was just fucking weird.

The other chat, just between the boys was blowing up.

Frankie: ‘This is it, she’s fed up of us already.’

Santiago: ‘That isn’t what this is.’

Will: ‘Don’t think about this negatively, Fish. It’s her week off, she probably doesn’t want to be alone.’

Benny: ‘I know what this is…’

Santiago: ‘It’s not that either.’

Frankie: ‘@Benny What?’

Santiago: ‘Don’t say it.’

Benny: ‘-peach emoji- -phone emoji-‘

Will: ‘Ok, I’ll see you guys later.’

Frankie: ‘Christ, I dunno why I asked.’

Santiago: ‘@Benny Don’t make me remove you from the group.’

Without a worded response, you continued to worry the rest of the day. You never said in the arrangement that this was off the cards and they never said anything either, maybe they just wanted you individually. Could this be the biggest mistake you’ve made?

The four of them arrived around the same time.

“Still not sure about this, Fish?”

Will walked alongside Frankie, who’s expression was sober.

“Pope gave me a pep talk,” he shrugged.

Benny clapped Frankie’s back, “Come on, Fish, it’s gonna be the best night of your life.”

“Keep dreaming, Benny.”

Will rolled his eyes at his brother. Benny looked behind at Santiago, their leader was quiet yet content and Benny jutted his chin at him, Santiago smiled back. He would be happy if either of the Millers speculations came true but there was something deep where he knew what you wanted. It wasn’t going to a booty call, this was going to be more in every sense, he knew it was on the cards from the very beginning.

“Knock the door been as you’re so excited.”

Benny giddily headed to your door and knocked rhythmically, the four of them manage to congregate around the opening before you answer. You’re met with a variety of faces but the juxtaposition of Frankie and Benny had you concerned.

“What’s up with these two?”

“One can only see the bad,” Will says, “and one can only see the good.”

“Uh-huh, and why’s that?”

“Nothing.”

The pair say in unison though their tones are complete polar opposites.

“Honey, put poor Francisco out of his misery, why have you invited us over tonight?”

You lean on the door frame, fleetingly glancing at all of them.

“Because I want all of you.”

A weight lifted from Frankie’s shoulders and his eyebrows raised to wide eyes. Will and Santiago shared a look, it turns out Benny was right and he was fucking ecstatic. His smile goes wide like a Cheshire cat’s and he surges to you, scooping you effortlessly from the floor.

You scream, smacking his back, “Benny, what is wrong with you?”

All five of you spend the evening as normal. Take out was ordered, drinks were poured, games were played and conversations were had. The anticipation got to you a little, you drank a touch more than you usually do but you were in no way inebriated. Will had clocked what was going on early, when he offered to make you a drink, he ensured it was single measure.

You were giggly, happy, relaxed.

With all of you crammed into the living room of your apartment, you already felt the temperature rising and pulled off your hoodie. You insisted on tidying up, picking up the discarded plates and cutlery, you said you’d be back for the rest. Benny was the first one to offer to help you but you could see the glint in his eyes, he had another idea.

You place everything in the sink, that’s also filled with plastic containers and when he comes in, you ask him to place the glasses on the side. He does as he’s told but then you feel him hovering as you run the tap to discard the evidence of your meals.

“What are doing, Benny?”

“Nothing.”

He was practically breathing down your neck.

Switching off the water, you wipe your hands on a tea towel before you started to twisted on your heels. You had barely turned around and he threw himself on you, the force of his body and kiss knocking you back. The glassware collided with each other as you grabbed onto the counter top to save yourself falling.

The ruckus was heard in the living room.

One of Benny’s arms were wrapped round your waist, the other bent as his hand clung onto the back of your head to hold you steady. His kiss was sloppy, he stole the air from your lungs as his tongue slid easily through your open mouth. Once your thoughts had gathered, your free hand ran up from his lower back.

“Don’t mind me.”

Santiago is at the door, cradling his beer.

You break away from Benny, lips plump as they begin to swell, the heat rising in your cheeks. He slowly unwinds himself from you, leaning back against the countertop, tongue flicking over his lips.

“He started it,” you say timidly.

“Of course, he did.”

Santiago passes the threshold. His eyes roam the pair of you, the hairs on the back of your neck standing on end as the shiver travelled down your spine. Benny was unfazed, folding his arms to his chest, head facing Santiago.

“He usually does.”

When he reaches your toes, Santiago stares at you, the corner of his lips quirk. His eyes were darkening like they always do when the sexual tension is rising and you straighten your back to try and gain the upper hand. You don’t, you never do, breaking eye contact to stop your heartbeat from quickening.

Then you catch movement out of the corner of your eye.

Santiago ran a hand through Benny’s hair before his fingers entwined in his dirty blonde locks and he forced his head down. Benny complied, opening his mouth when their lips met, allowing Santiago to slip his tongue in. You can’t stop watching as Benny deepened the kiss, the two of them fighting for dominance.

You blink, jaw dropping as they finally separate. They look at you like it was nothing, that this was an everyday occurrence.

“You two?” All you can do is point.

Benny smiles, “Wouldn’t you like to know, Bunny.”

You’re lost for words, mouth salivating at the thought of the pair of them together.

“Promise you won’t tell.”

You nod at Benny, glimpsing to Santiago in the same motion.

“Good girl,” Santiago winks.

You pierce your lips, waiting for him to kiss you too but his lips curl into a smirk and he leans on the counter next to Benny. You see it best to make your escape because that look can only mean one thing, he was going to drop a bombshell.

“Oh, I forgot to tell you, Benny. You can take her up the ass whenever you’re ready.”

There it was.

Looking over your shoulder, you see Benny’s smile grow.

“Come ‘ere,” he tries to beckon you back.

You squeal before running, Benny chasing after you, however you don’t get far until you bump into one of the others.

In the flurry of getting out of Benny’s way, you went directly into Frankie who was wondering what the fuck was going on. Instinctively, his arm locked around your waist to stop you from hitting the floor.

“What is go—“

“Frankie, my hero.”

He sees Benny skid from the kitchen, eyes narrowing when he sees his wet lips and mussed hair, now Frankie needed a piece of you.

“I wouldn’t say that, querida.”

He doesn’t let you say another word. His arm tightens and he crashes squarely into your lips, chasing you as you try to lean back. His tongue pushes into your mouth and twists with yours before he pulls away, taking your bottom lip between his teeth. Straightening you both up, you shake Frankie off and run to Will.

You slip onto his lap and he drapes an arm over you.

“Save me, Will,” you pout.

“Sweetheart,” he tuts, “you know I can’t do that.”

“Not you too?”

He nods, smiling dimples into his cheeks as his other arm folds around your neck. He brings you close, delivering a soft kiss to your lips before bringing another. He’s measured in comparison to the other two, you close your eyes as he kisses you gently, his tongue teasing before you let him in. Your tongues dance together as he loosens his muscles, releasing your mouth and moving away.

Your eyes flutter open and you see Santiago’s hand in front of you.

“Let’s get you to bed,” he says calmly.

Your eye flit to his, a softness under the seriousness of his straight lip. This was the moment where everything would change, the butterflies flapped uncontrollably in your stomach, only settling when you felt Will’s whiskers tickled your shoulder. He pressed his lips to your exposed skin.

You took Santiago’s hand.

Once you’ve risen off Will, you walk behind Santiago, bringing your body near and he rearranges his hand to hold yours stronger. He didn’t want you running away, the pulse on your wrist throbbing hard and fast.

“I thought you were already gonna be stripped,” Will quipped his brother.

“Hey, I have some respect.”

They laugh amongst each other whilst Santiago pushed the door. It didn’t fully close, a chance for you to make a break for it if you changed your mind, you weren’t going to. btw speaking of Pokemon.

When it comes to designing a Ghost type trainer of any kind (basic trainer, gym leader, elite four).. most people always go the route of Hex Maniac to some varied degree. It's by far the most limited of the 18 Pokemon types when it comes to fan made trainer designs.

Which is a shame cuz when you look at officially designed Ghost specialist trainers in Pokemon, you get a wide range of looks that aren't just limited to "Hex Maniac":

there's a LOT more creativity and variety in how the ghost type trainers were designed officially.. it's genuinely a shame that my favorite type has such a limited perceived aesthetic when it comes to fan made designs.

I'm not saying they're bad, cuz they absolutely aren't (there's many fan made designs that I LOVE a LOT for ghost type trainers), I just kinda.. wish it wasn't so limited, y'know??

(gonna cut here, cuz I'm gonna go on a wee tangent below)

Ryme is a rapper and the only thing about her design that says "I use ghost types" is the fact her hair is shaped like bones (LOVE that) and her having a black outfit. Otherwise.. if you encountered her outside of Montenevera then you'd probably guess something else. Dark type maybe?? but cuz she is only ever encountered in Montenevera, you can see how heavily ghost type themed the whole area is and get the build up from there. (map info of her gym not counted)

but then you have Phoebe and Morty's original design. They're so brightly colored and don't really have anything to do with or tell you that they use ghost types at all. The lighting in Phoebe's key art being lit from below gives off that impression, sure, but it's not something you see in-game at all. In-game tho.. you DO find both of these characters in areas with associations to ghost types. which makes a lot of sense, and that's how you'd tell from there.

Agatha is literally just an old woman. That's it. That's all she has going for her with her association with the ghost typing. she's old and a little bit creepy. Her design is very simple and originally all it was was just a magenta looking dress, a princess peach looking brooch on her chest, and her little brown wooden cane. No subtle imagery of ghost types anywhere in her design.... not until LPLE when her cane got a glow-up and her dress became a darker purple. not to mention the sad looking skull-like faces in the lace trim of the apron on her dress. A subtle detail, but it works wonders for what was a simple design originally anyway.

the channeler & medium trainer classes are based around Shinto priestesses and spirit mediums. If you didn't know that then you'd be a bit confused and surprised to see them looking so possessed in the older game sprites (and the LPLE channeler model). Heck. I bet some kids just starting out playing HGSS took one look at the trainer sprite for the medium and thought she'd have something to do with fire types considering she's holding candles with very prominent flames. I wouldn't blame them.

All the others fall somewhere into that "limited" design category, but they still put little twists on it. Allister is just a shy and nervous little boy, he's not a prankster using the mask to hide himself from trouble. Acerola is a kooky little girl whose dress is reminiscent of Mimikyu in a way. She's bubbly and playful and very cute, quite the contrast to the solemn and morbid nature of ghost types and ghosts in general.

Shauntal is a well renowned author with a unique fashion sense. It's modest yet classy and fashionable. She specializes in spooky stories, but it's not the only kind of stories she writes. She also has a fun and lively personality. Not an eerie or unsettling one.

So even those that fall into the whole limited ghost type aesthetic/theme still have stuff that helps them to stand out from that stereotype and label.

heck. you could make the assumption that the original sprite of the Hex Maniac has glasses and looks more like some occult magician. And that sort of thing is more linked to psychic types anyway. after all, quite a few psychic moves are like that of magic tricks.

The Mochi Mayhem Epilogue Was Hilarious (Review)

Here it is. The finale of the DLC. The ending to an era. How should we celebrate this milestone? Excuse me? Could you repeat that again? The Chicken Dance? What?

Anyways, this epilogue is bringing in the main story and DLC together by making the Paldea trio meet up with Kieran and Carmine, the DLC characters in one last misadventure to stop the land of Kitakami from doing the chicken—er, Mochi dance by a mysterious Pokemon that looks like a Pecha Berry.

The overall epilogue was very hilarious, but it also got me having a lot of questions. I know that the event starts in Kitakami when you examine the peach plush in Peachy’s. After the little scene that happens, Arven calls because he wants to come over to the player’s house, meaning you have to travel all the way back to Paldea where Nemona and Penny tagged along and then Kieran gives the player a letter, which then makes the Paldean group go back to Kitakami, which is when the event starts happening. I don’t know why the game makes it so that we have to jump through different regions. I know it’s for plot as the Paldean trio didn’t get offers to study abroad. It made me wonder what would’ve happened if they had come along during Teal Mask.

Despite that, Kieran meshes well with the Paldean trio. It sucks that Carmine was possessed throughout the whole story, but it makes sense as she had her fair share of spotlight in the Teal Mask. This is Kieran’s time to shine! I find it hilarious how he was theorized to have been possessed, but when Pecharunt showed up with the evil mochi, Kieran is the only other person aside from the player to not eat the mochi as it hit his forehead and flew off. Ha, take that, theorizers! I wonder what would’ve happened if Nemona had been involved in the Teal Mask DLC—maybe that was why they took the Paldea trio out of the story for the DLC because the story’s issues would’ve resolved fast.

Pecharunt is a weird Pokemon. While it has a connection with the Kitakami lore, it was never really explored. It just showed up and wrecking havoc. While it did give the Loyal Three their toxic chain, it never really had an involvement in Teal Mask until this DLC. The Loyal Three are its retainers, but there were slight hints of its existence sprinkled here and there. I’m also confused on why it decided to wake up and decided to possess everyone with toxic mochi. Is it angry? Chaotic? I’m not sure. Despite that, Pecharunt is no slouch in battle.

What I liked about the DLC is the fact that Kieran joins the player as a Multi Battle partner which is a definite redemption from his behavior in the Indigo Disk DLC. It was nice being able to battle together with him. I was actually surprised that Kieran’s grandparents were trainers too. They were pretty tough. Arven and Penny were challenging too. I do like that in the midst of the double battles, the last match is against Nemona, who is challenged as a single battle. I loved the mix-match of battling styles.

Once you complete the DLC, Nemona, Arven, Penny, Kieran and Carmine can be interacted with in the League Club with the former three being special coaches. I do like that they give you such a bonus afterwards. I feel like it’s a good way to end everything as you are reunited with the three most important characters in the main story followed by the two most important characters in the DLC. What makes Paldea special is the unique varieties of characters that makes it a worthwhile experience.

Argh, it’s going to be hard to say good-bye to these characters because they’re all so good. All the Gym Leaders, Elite Four, teachers, Team Star, students and DLC characters were just so GOOD! Scarlet and Violet legit shot up to my third favorite mainline Pokemon game because of how good the game and DLCs were. What will Pokemon do now after the masterpiece that was SV? If Unova remakes are true, will it live up to SV’s hype? Will it be better than BDSP? Only time will tell. What are your thoughts on this epilogue and the DLCs as a whole?

Yokai AU. chapter one... (kinda, I'll prob remake it after I have the designs out and more figured out)

As the Sky Falls Over Us.

New York, a city that always crowded, bright and loud, the city that never slept and most importantly, home of the Ninja Turtles! a team of four teenage turtle mutants that went by the names of Raphael, Donatello, Leonardo and Michealanglo, heroes of the world.

The team of turtles sat atop a building, 'scouting' and defiantly not messing around while the oldest's chasm grew larger, "We're on a MISSION, not a jungle gym" Raphael spoke, sounded a bit agitated as Leo poked the soft shell's cheek, pausing and looking at Raph for good measure. "Relaxxxxx~ no one has been in trouble since we took out the Kraang, chillax, your Chasm only gets bigger~" Leonardo teased, giving a smug look to the eldest Mutant. Donatello pushed Leo's hand away with a mechanical claw, "BUT, something could happen! and you didn't even bring your battle shell! that took hours!" Leo scoffed, "my shell is FINE! I do not need it, I appreciate the work, hermano, I really do, but there's no trouble" Donnie sighed.

During the Kraang's attack Leonardo's shell had been messed up really bad... everything had. The shell and plastron protects all vital organs so it being weak and fragile made Raphael worry, it made everyone worry, except the turtle himself, who refused to lay on his back and winced visibly when it was touched. Of course, as the genius the soft shell turtle was, he made a perfect fit battle shell, not as complex as his own but stronger and more cushioned on the inside than his, not like he'd admit that, not in a thousand years.

Leonardo blew a raspberry, "nothin' it gonna happen anyway, no action, no villains, as the leader I say we go home and eat some pizza!" he cheered, Mikey perked at that, looking up from his mystic chains he'd been practicing, "...I mean, it couldn't hurt, no one as attacked, everyone is still recovering from the attack, especially you, Leo." Raphael sighed but nodded, "fine, Donnie, keep all your tech cameras on banks, museums and stuff like that, just in case.." he side eyed Leo, who was talking to Mikey now.

After riding back to the sewers in the new and improved Turtle Tank 2.0 everyone grabbed a slice of pizza from the leftovers of last night and sat down to eat in the living room. Leonardo laid on his stomach, Mikey sat criss crossed on the arm of the couch, Donatello sat on a purple bean bag and Raphael sat in the one actual chair as they watched Jupiter Jim 34. Donatello carefully studied Leonardo's shell, the cracks... jeez they were big. He noticed as Leonardo shuffled uncomfortably, he expected this, Leo always got a bit of pain when he didn't move constantly to distract himself. He sighed softly as reached into a shoulder compartment on his battle shell, it had pills in it, Midol for April or Leo if they needed it, pain killers, melatonin gummies and anti-anxiety meds, mostly for Leo. Donatello grabbed two pain killers and handed it down to Leo, he whispered, just so Leo could hear it and not above the movie playing on the projector, "take these, I can tell you need them" he said blandly before shoving them into Leo's hand, the blue twin smiled back, "thanks, DonTron..." and shoved them in his mouth and took them dry, which creeped out Donnie but he wouldn't question it.

Elsewhere, the Hidden City.

A blue Punkupine with green eyes, freckles, peach furred arms and heart shaped chest, light blue markings on his face, red shoes with a white strap that connected to a star shaped buckle, white fingerless gloves with a comical amount of sports tape was walking with a tall Kitsune with only two tails instead of the usual six, blue eyes, soft yellow fur with a white furred fluffy stomach with, big ears that wear tipped with brown, just like around his eyes and hands, that sported gloves that only show the tips of his paws so he can touch the hologram screen on his left hand. As the Kitsune typed away, regarding of the Hidden Cities reconstruction after the Kraang attack, they weren't as bad as the above world but some buildings fell through the surface, leaving many worrisome holes.

"Tails, bro, get off the screen for a while, you're gonna go blind!" the short , blue punkupine spoke, looking up at his little brother. The kitsune, now known as Tails, rolled his eyes, "first, no I won't, second, this is important Sonic! three of us best relec shops were destroyed, now human disguises prices only rise!" Sonic shook his head at Tails, "you're just grumpy because the only mint shop was destroyed." he stated a matter-of-factly, Tails grumbled, his tails spun in annoyance for a moment and his ears shifted, "..am not.." Sonic shook his head and chuckled, "whatever you say lil' bro" he waved and rushed off in dart of lightning, going around to check for severe damage and maybe a form of entertainment.

As the blue blur ran he jumped on rumble from the destroyed buildings, he looked to the roof of the hidden city and sucked a breathe in.. Amy was not going to like this. he pressed on his communicator on his wrist and rang up Tails, "heyyyy... maybe I was being a little under dramatic.. but~ the city has a few, like BIG hole leading to City Square, got any sciencey stuff to help?" he make an awkward face, hoping for the best from his genius little brother. He heard a shout on the other end of the line, "WHAT???" Tails yelled, getting some looks from other Yokai around him. He sucked a breathe in and whispered into the communicator, "..what do you mean 'there's a bunch of holes in the roof'?' "I mean, there's a-- WOAH-" static was then heard in Tails's ears as the call ended, Tails immediately panicked and spun his fluffy tails to go find Sonic.

Sonic was now jumping from place to place as more chunks of the roof fell, collapsing so fast he could already see a giant build board and people screaming. It all felt overwhelming, people?? as in HUMANS? bad news!

So obviously by this point Ash's travels through Donanda are over since it's now been several months since the League and honestly he and Pikachu have kind of been aimless since then? Like, Jet decided to go to Sinnoh next, Miku's back on tour now that Team Chungus isn't after her anymore, but Ash is just Wandering. At first it wasn't so bad but by now when he's in his own world (which he probably isn't as much as he should be as an Avatar admittedly) he and Pikachu -and to a lesser extent Team Rocket- are sort of just going through the motions most days.

Enter Arceus with a Noble Quest for its Chosen One.

Apparently a neighboring reality is having some digital-multiverse-related issues and needs a Hero to deal with it, so it's sending in the two of them, as well as Gym Leader Peach and Argit from tecknically-not-an-Avatar Ben's universe (why it picked him of all people is beyond me) since Ash does his best work when he's got Companions. It also sends Team Rocket in because of course it does.

Anyway, this basically results in him traveling through a new Region, complete with new Pokemon and some sort of token-acquisition-test-of-skill-based tournament qualification system for him to partake in, just with extra steps and the caveat of him actively going out of his way to save the world instead of just stumbling into it like usual.

As for what he's saving it from, it involves one of RNG's experiments. Basically, a long time ago it found the extradimensional Bits of post-Turtles Forever '03 Shredder (since he got blasted by his own Multiverse Erasing Beam thing when he was defeated) floating around as code, and collected them to see if it could do anything interesting with them. Then it saw Andrew's Gauntlet turn into an Omnitrix during the vacation battle and was very interested. So, it revived Shredder, integrated an At-l0s based Omnitrix into his armor, added a few features, and dumped him into this side universe with a time dilation effect to see what would happen.

From Shredder's perspective, he wakes up in another world after seemingly erasing himself from existence with some new and very unusual technology integrated into his Exo-suit. Some of the extra features that RNG added include:

-RNG somehow made it so both his original Utrom form and a human form based on his Oroku Saki persona are considered his Default species simultaneously, so he can switch between them at will, alongside the 10 Aliens in his starting playlist which operate under the standard No Master Control rules. -The Exo-suit is now made of nanites supplied by the Omnitrix, so it's retractable and can become Shredder armor on any of his forms. -Comes equipped with a Hyperlink Portal Caster due to being an at-l0s based Omnitrix, though the time dilation is interfering with it currently. -Has an on-board sentient digital assistant, which he decides to name "Krang" for his own amusement.

Anyway, over the several years that he's stuck there (which for everyone outside is the months between the Vacation Arc and now) he recreates the Foot Clan and uses them to take control of the Region's criminal underbelly (as well as some of its legitimate infrastructure), learns how Pokemon work, delves into the secrets of the Omnitrix, studies Hyperlink Portals in the hopes of breaking past the interference and returning to his own universe so he can use all this new stuff to finally crush the Turtles, and seeks out the local Legendaries when he's got the time.

Arceus sent Ash and co. because Shedder's current schemes are getting dangerously close to potentially being able to destabilize the Pokemon Anime Server's space-time continuum. Not that it told them that since it doesn't know what over there is very probably gonna rip its multiverse a new one very soon so it's still up to them to actually investigate. It got rid of the time dilation since that's not supposed to be there, so they can come and go as they please like usual, but Shredder still can't get back to his own world yet since it's in Timmy's server and the Firewall Twins exist.

(yes, I've gone and given myself yet another whole region to make fakemon for when I've already got the Dark Arms project to deal with.)

As you very well know, we had that attack on the school last week. I know I was able to protect you in a physical way, but things like that leave a deeper mark emotionally, too. I have been through better and I have been through worse, but I did it with style. I am here if you want to talk it through.

Okay, maybe I didn’t just want to write to you as an earnest leader. I do mean what I say, mon petite, about being there for you if you need to talk through the destruction of this life. We wouldn’t want our little intern (emphasis on the little) to be having a rough go through and have done nothing about it. I’m fixing to make a big pot of gumbo since there’s finally some wind in the air.

I do not mean to make you uncomfortable, chere, so please tell me if I have this all wrong, but I have been feeling a reciprocation of interest recently. I might have seen some wandering eyes these past few weeks while I was on the mats with Rogue. I acknowledge that it might be for her, I know how that feels. She leaves me full as a tick, but begging for more. If I have misread this situation, it might be best for the both of us if you put this letter down.

Oh, this is good news! You want more than my gumbo, chere. I wish I knew sooner. Now I know I’ve got a month of Sundays saved up to come bother you at your desk. This is really fueling my ego. How do I get so lucky? It’s always my southern belles. And, if you aren’t aware, Rogue and I, though dedicated, do have an open relationship. We just communicate a lot about it. I would never wreck such a beautiful thing.

I’ve admired you for quite some time. When Charles recruited you, it was surely a welcome surprise. I’m sure you felt like a minnow in a pond, but you made yourself a home quite nicely. I have been known to ask around a bit about you. I hope you don’t mind. I just wanted to know that the picture I was painting was accurate. I don’t think you are aware of how the staff here actually sees you. You are far more loved at this school than you realize. Part of the family. Ah, I did ramble on quite a bit last time, didn't I? I am glad you enjoyed it though my dear "shy" anon 💜

Since I didn't have any classes today, I allowed myself to sleep in until 6AM. Before my morning work out, I had a smoothie with spinach, coconut water, pineapple, banana, peach, and lemon juice. I jogged as a warm-up, did some stretches to loosen up, and sparred with Rook.

After we went a few rounds, I freshened up and fixed us some egg white omelettes with a bit of chicken sausage. He requested my assistance in testing a few variables for the science club's recent project, and I obliged in exchange for having him and Trey do some set building later in the day... as enthusiastic as the film club members are, many of them sorely lack the muscle required to bring their visions to life.

At around 11, I went to fertilize my section of the gardens with the potion we had developed and took a photo of my beautiful blossoms for magicam. It was the first time I had ever posted a picture in my lab uniform, and for some reason, it exploded with interactions. Do you all truly enjoy seeing me hard at work that much?

I then had my scheduled meeting with my agent and learned that I had been booked for a photoshoot modeling my favorite athletic wear! They designed the body suit that I wear under my gym uniform. It does wonders when it comes to joint support, and extremely stylish, so I was happy to accept the gig.

Of course, I then sped down to the headmaster's office to submit my leave request. The last thing I need is for Crowley to come up with some silly excuse as to why it was overlooked, so I left a little insurance on it... that being that it would stick to his hand until it was properly signed.

Once that was taken care of, I treated the present Pomefiore students to afternoon tea and asked if they had any feedback for me as their leader. It was quite obvious that they weren't expecting the question with how quiet it became. I don't know if they were more afraid of criticizing me or upsetting their dormmates by doing so! It resulted in me scolding their cowardice, which they then applauded me for, so that led to absolutely nowhere.

Mickey and Friends: Pokémon Teams P.1

So I am in a Pokémon mood and still in my Disney mood. So I am going to go over what teams and roles I think the Mickey and Friends characters would have if they were in the Pokémon World. In this version, trainers are usually a bit older (Like maybe 14 - 16) to go on their Pokémon journeys. Also, the starters are from multiple regions instead of just one. And instead of a main villain team, there is a variety of smaller gangs. Though recently they have been working more in sync than usual. But for the most part, everything else is the same.

I don't have all the teams filled out and will update when I come up with ideas

Professor Ludwig Von Drake - The Pokémon professor for the Sensational Six. He specializes in researching technology to improve the bond between people and Pokémon. Often usually making some kind of wacky invention. His main Pokémon is Porygon Z, who others claim acts odd, but he doesn't see it. His assistant Gyro Gearloose also helps with the inventions or Pokémon professor duties with his partner Magnemite and invention Lil Bulb.

Mickey Mouse - Mickey is a brand new trainer who has been dreaming of going on his Pokémon adventure since he was very young. For him, he is much more invested in exploring the region and checking out all the myths and mysteries spread throughout the land. The main mystery he is hoping to solve is finding out who was that small mythical Pokémon he met once when making a wish on a star and to hopefully see them again. And the gym challenge is the perfect way for him to do so. He is currently traveling with 4 of his friends (Donald, Minnie, Goofy, and Daisy) as they take the region together. However, not everything is peaches and cream as he has to deal with their rivals (Mortimer and Gladstone) as well as the various villainous gangs surrounding the region. His team comprises of:

Boltund - This is Pluto. He had this Pokémon ever since he was young. He actually keeps it out of his Pokéball. He tends to treat this Pokémon more like a pet than a battle partner. But Pluto doesn't mind getting into battles if the situation calls for it.

Typhlosion - His starter Pokémon. Initially a very shy and small Cyndaquil, but eventually Mickey helps him gain confidence and become a strong Typhlosion.

Pikachu *Shiny* - One of the first Pokémon he catches. He didn't realize the Pikachu was shiny until it was compared to Mortimer's.

Sylveon - He actually saved this Pokémon (back when it was an Eevee) from one of the various gangs surrounding the region. At first, she struggled with battling, but in a dire moment, she saved Mickey's life and evolved into a powerful Sylveon.

Smeargle - This Pokémon actually started to follow them as it enjoyed being able to simply draw the mouse's head. But eventually, Mickey added it to the team.

Dragonite - This is one of his later Pokémon that Mickey added as he realized he needed some stronger Pokémon. Thankfully Dragonite was able to provide more strength while still being a great friend.

Cresselia - Initially Cresselia and Mickey teamed up to take down a powerful shadowy trainer who managed to capture a strong Darkrai who was causing devastation in their wake. But Cresselia was so impressed with Mickey and figured it would be best to stay with him, in case more trouble arises.

Tandemaus - He actually shares this Pokémon with Minnie as they caught it in a love ball together. They don't really use them for battle but take care of them together.

Donald Duck - Donald is one of Mickey's friends who is traveling the region with him. He hopes to prove himself and become the champion of their region, by taking down the current champion, his Uncle Scrooge. He is more focused on gym leaders and the league, but is often dragged into whatever trouble the others get into. His current rival is his cousin Gladstone, who always seems to win his battles through sheer luck and even having a full team of shiny Pokémon. But Donald believes he can beat him and claim title as champion. His team comprises of:

Golduck - It is actually Duck family tradition to have a Psyduck. So everyone has one (Including Scrooge and Gladstone). Donald always struggled to get his Psyduck to listen to him and not be lazy, but eventually, he would become a pretty formidable Golduck.

Primape - This was actually Donald's starter. Due to a mix-up, some of the friend group got non-traditional starters. At first it took a while to get along with him. But eventually they found common ground.

Pelipper - He actually caught this one while on a boat. She and her flock were being attacked by some bad guys, but Donald saved her and she decided to join his team. They bonded pretty quickly due to both of their love for sailing.

Grimmsnarl - Initially an Impidimp that would follow him and pull pranks on him. Eventually, Donald caught it and managed to train it to be a powerful Grimmsnarl... Unfortunately, it still tends to pull pranks.

Absol - Donald first caught Absol because she looked tough and cool, but then later learned about her association with disaster and why people avoid her. But Donald ends up keeping Absol since he could relate to being seen as a disaster.

Ludicolo - He actually got this one from his friends who live in another region, Panchito and José. Though this Pokémon cares more about having fun instead of focusing on battles, Donald can't help but think of his friends through her.

Minnie Mouse - Minnie is another of Mickey's friends. She actually doesn't know what she wants to do and is just enjoying being with her friends. She participates in both gym challenges and contests to see which one she ends up being more interested in. She does however love seeing all of the cute Pokémon and building her team based on which she finds the cutest and giving them cute nicknames. Her team comprises of:

Dachsbun - This is Fifi. Minnie had this Pokémon for just as long as Mickey had Pluto. She uses this Pokémon mostly as a pet, also keeping her out of her ball, but Fifi doesn't mind jumping into battles as needed.

Sprigatito - This is Figaro. This was Minnie's starter. However, instead of evolving it, she kept it as a Sprigatito. He is very popular in contests, though can be a bit of a troublemaker.

Pikachu - She caught this Pikachu pretty soon after Mickey caught his. Both hers and Mickey's Pikachu get along, just as they get along with each other.

Azumarill - She hatched this Pokémon as an Azurill and trained her to be a pretty tough Azumarill. Azumarill manages to do well in both contests and gym battles.

Goodra - She actually saved Goodra from one of the villainous gangs who were not treating him very well. Now she trains him with love making him one of her strongest Pokémon.

Leavanny - Minnie was unsure of having a bug Pokémon on her team, but later fell in love with the bug's designs. They tend to work together on making new clothes for contests and even just to wear.

Tandemaus - This is the Tandemaus that Mickey and her share, though Minnie tends to hold onto them the most. Tandemaus does actually enjoy contests and joins her from time to time.

Goofy - Goofy is really there mostly to support his friends. He doesn't really have any specific goals and is honestly okay with that. He tends to be the one healing, cooking, and just taking care of the group in general. He does, however, find a couple of Pokémon on the way that he manages to click with. His team comprise of:

Slowbro - This was actually his starter Pokémon and they instantly connected. He uses Slowbro the most when it comes to battles, though he is also a good support Pokemon outside of battles too.

Spinda - He found this Pokémon who somehow came to this region even though it doesn't belong here. However, Goofy instantly related to the clumsy Pokémon and let him be a part of his team.

Audino - This Pokémon chose to help the group out after a very nasty defeat and decided to join Goofy to continue taking care of them. She is a very powerful and helpful healer.

Kangaskhan - After helping to protect her baby from some villains, Kangaskhan joined his team. Goofy actually really connected with her and really started to like the idea of being a father someday.

Gyarados - He caught this as a little Magikarp and took great care of it even though the others were unsure how effective of a Pokémon he was, but eventually they changed their minds once he evolved at a crucial moment.

I may add more to his team, but this is what I have for now.

Daisy Duck - Daisy is all about the contests. She wants to get as many ribbons as she can and be well-known throughout the region as one of the most fashionable Pokémon coordinators in the world. She and Minnie do have a bit of a small rivalry when it comes to contests, but it is always just for fun. Her team comprises of:

Quaquaval - This was her starter Pokémon. Initially, their personalities clashed a bit. But eventually, they got a long and Quaquaval is now her star Pokémon when it comes to contests.

Swanna - She caught this one pretty early and it evolved pretty quickly from a Ducklett. She takes a lot of pride in herself and can be a bit of a diva... Kind of like her trainer.

Wigglytuff - She also got this Pokémon from an egg with Minnie. She hatched as an Igglybuff and she trained it to be a Wigglytuff. She is a bit chatty, but still a great Pokémon for battles and contests.

Hatterene - She actually saved this Pokémon from a group of villains who were mistreating her. For a while, this Pokémon didn't really trust anyone, but Daisy managed to get her out of her shell.

Milotic - Initially she won this Pokémon as a Feebas in a contest and was disappointed at first. But despite that, she continued to raise it and to her surprise, it became a beautiful Milotic.

Jynx - She caught this Pokémon as a Smoochums and eventually evolved it into a Jynx. This is a very affectionate Pokémon and tends to show it's happiness through kisses, which usually Donald was the target.

Maybe if I have more time I'll do rivals, villains, and gym leaders/elite four/champions.
