i love 13 going on 30 have i mentioned this
#i have rewatched this 5 times in a row i am freeeeeeeeeee#have i mentioned how we go from madonna's signature to madonna as the fading background sound in the true and actual and better reality#these are mere accessories to the actual unfiltered beauty of living.that's why the ending is just a few short scenes put together clumsily#AND THE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPH IS DIFFERENT because it's a testament to how brilliant reality is#matt's camera occupies the space between 13 and 30#also like... maddona's signature + a glimpse of the thriller mv + a glimpse of the jesse's girl mv... absolutely useless in the face of the#clumsy & spontaneous thriller dance... matt's version of mr. springfield in the dream house...#excellent romcom because it addresses its own falseness. it's like everything you're watching will be erased as an actuality#as it the case with every movie but this one knows it. it's messing with you. it's a film within a film. the only thing that's real about#it is the feeling and the lesson jenna takes away from the journey and isn't that true for the viewer#for the audience of all art#i feel weird and silly about making this post please be kinddd#dylanlila.mp3#this is once again my thing for off-screen development :“)#we do not know matt and jenna from the ultimate reality and isn't that wonderful#BUT THE CAMERAAAAA REMAINSSSS... isn't that symbolic outside of the given universe... nature of filmmmm??? or something???#13 going on 30
