Rambling about my 2nd playthough and respeccing origin characters with wild abandon.

Since i pretty much only use astarion gale and shadowheart on my first playthrough, im really determined to only used laezel karlach and wyll on my next playthrough. But i find both barbarians and warlocks annoying to play, at least without dual classing, and im going to find it really annoying to not have a wizard on hand for practical reasons. So so far my plan is this:

Play either a 2nd tav that is a rogue or play as a shadowheart and dual class or respec in to rogue early on. Leaning on dual classing here because later cleric spells will help make up for the lack of wizard, and i dont really need a lot of levels in rogue for her to do what i need her to do. I guess i could also just...give a rogue tav levels in cleric? Actually, at that point, since rogues have decent int, i could probably just... take some levels in wizard. Hhhhmhmhmh lmao im just. Smooshing together the classes of the characters im giving up lmao. I think cleric/rogue would be interesting. Curious to see how your interactio s with shadowheart change if you play a sharran cleric tav.

Wyll im all set on because i can dual class him in to college of swords bard immediately. In terms of his personality and reputation this should have been his class out the gate, but i get that he needed to be a warlock for plot reasons. All set there. Bard spells will also pick up a lot of slack for giving up gale

Laezel ill keep as a fighter. If it aint broke etc. Probably make her an eldrich knight tho, so i have an extra half caster on deck? Or if im feeling insane i can also give her some oath of vengence paladin levels, but her charisma is piss so probabpy not.

Karlach....not sure, this is where im a little stumped. Thematically, a few levels in druid might make sense, and some circle of spores abilities are good for a front line attacker. Her wisdom is also not super impressive, but passable for this build and i can bump it up. Same with laezel, part of me wants to give her levels in paladin because im just so addicted to divine smite, but her charisma is also piss so.
