1. 12. 22. and 28 for the fic ask ✩
1. What’s something new that you tried in a fic this year? How did it turn out and would you do it again? I wrote a fic in first person! And for a very difficult (to me) canon as well. I think it turned out pretty good, and I actually found it a lot easier to write in than I thought I would! I wouldn't write for that canon again because it was VERY difficult to get specific aspects of it right (still anon so can't say what lol)
12. What fic was the most difficult to write? Did you finish it? GOD I honestly think it was the same fic from 1 sdlkghfg it wAS SO HARD!!!! I did finish it tho, so fuck yeah!!!!
22. Share an excerpt from your favorite scene Sorry, this is a long one, but this scene from Sanctified, where Omeluum and Blurg share memories of each other is my favourite!
Omeluum cocked its head, and its eyes seemed warmer somehow, as it sent him an image of - oh! - of himself working, hunched over his wooden desk in the Underdark, cataloguing his samples. Yes, there was the ormu, and that particularly splendid sample of nilhogg’s nose he’d found. Some of the hair had come out of the little knot at the back of his head, and the grey strands fell about his face, framing it. The image was tinged with warmth, almost soft about the edges, and Blurg noticed that the air about him almost seemed to shimmer.
“Is this how you see me?” He cannot help but speak the words into the air, as though it would make the vision - the memory - more real.
-Yes.-
“I-” Blurg buried his face into Omeluum’s palm, flushed to his very ears. -Omeluum!-
-What is this feeling? Did I upset you?- Omeluum’s confusion was evident in his mindvoice, and Blurg looked up, sharply.
-Quite the opposite. Here, let me show you.- He allowed his mind to unfurl, selecting a favourite memory: Omeluum sat down on a wooden crate, watching as Blurg gestured excitedly about a nightlight he’d managed to harvest without dimming its natural light. He’d been expounding about the properties of such a delicate specimen, about how one must use the lightest of touches, and Omeluum had watched him with solemn interest, asking intelligent questions about the nightlight’s life cycle. Once it had all the information it had needed, it had raised one hand and made a gesture beautiful in its simplicity, accented with a delicate claw, and then a perfect ghostly rendition of the nightlight had appeared before them, glowing gently blue in the dimness of the Underdark, and perfect in every aspect.
-You listened to me,- he said, ears and cheeks hot. -And then you replicated the information I gave you perfectly, with beautiful motions like you were, oh I don’t know. An artist of some sort, a sculptor. You captured the essence of the nightlight, and ever since then…- He looked to the side, eyes soft with the memory. -Ever since then, I’ve loved to watch you work your magics. You use your claws like a conductor, Omeluum.- ---
28. How did you recharge between fics? HAHA I actually don't like to do this! I like to finish one fic and then move onto the next one. Usually I'm writing to deadlines for exchanges or events, or having to finish a personal enjoyment fic in time to start the next exchange or event! I think if I need to recharge, I will always read (books though, not other fic), because it refreshes my creativity, but generally I prefer to continue with my daily (or as near to daily as I can manage) writing routine!
THANK YOU FOR THE QUESTIONS!!!! <3333

Looking for Monoatomic Gold
In the late '70s, while he was extracting gold from his land, David Hudson, a farmer from Arizona, noticed some materials of strange composition and coloring and precisely in correspondence with their presence, the vegetation was significantly robust and lush. David invested several million dollars in the following decade to understand how to obtain and use with these materials but it was only in 1989 that he managed to obtain more patents on these materials and on the methods to extract them. Although other researchers had made similar discoveries in the same period and earlier, Hudson was the first to inform the public about it so during the early 1990s, he traveled around the United States holding several seminars and conferences on his findings.
The elements discovered by him are in close connection with objects and substances present in history and reading such as the Biblical Manna, the Egyptian MFKZT, the Mesopotamian Shem-an-na, the Philosopher's Stone, the Elixir of Youth, Orgone energy, Prana, Chi, the Holy Grail and the Ark of the Covenant, and to the concepts of modern physics such as superconductivity, Quantum coherence and Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC), a new state of matter discovered thanks the velocity distribution of the atoms and their condensation state.
These elements have been called ORME (Orbitally Rearranged Monatomic Elements) and also Elements in the M state, m-state, Monoatomic Gold, White Gold Powder, ORMUS, AuM, Microcluster and have a fundamental feature that distinguishes them from all the other elements: the orbitals with an electron available for rearrangement, therefore capable of changing shape according to the magnetic field with which they come into contact, a behavior similar to a stem cell. Currently the most controversial is the so-called MONOATOMIC GOLD which was already known to some of the great civilizations of the past: the Jews called it "Manna" or "The bread of God", the Egyptians "Tear from the eye of Horus", the Indians "Vibhuti or Bhasma of gold". It is said that there is Monoatomic Gold in the legendary Atlantis: it is also called a metal of flames, it is a substance with a mysterious property of emitting unique energy, better known as "Orichalcum".
Monoatomic Gold and Alchemy
In alchemy, this substance is the "Golden Chalice" which helps transform the lead of the human mind (the ego, with its negative and closed structures) into gold. It is essential to emphasize that alchemists were not looking for the gold we all know, but the white powder or projection powder that we now call Monoatomic Gold, a transformation of the three-dimensional structure of common gold into two-dimensional gold, to which, already in antiquity, extraordinary powers of levitation, transmutation and teleportation were recognized.
In ancient Egypt, during the gold melting process, there were always small amounts of melted gold in the oven. These remains suffered continuously a process of melting and solidifying from cold to hot, since they were not removed from the oven. Over time, artisans discovered small quantities of white dust where gold waste had previously accumulated. Through this constant alternation of heat and cold, the common gold had become white powder that some of the craftsmen ended up tasting by discovering the most powerful substance capable of altering human consciousness and physiology. Its effects remained for several days to those who had consumed it: also mummies were found in possession of this white powder.
Even in ancient India we find the formula to make the alchemical gold that Hindu alchemists called "Puttah". The most eminent members of some ancient families were used to ingest it regularly in small quantities.

The famous alchemist who made the "Philosopher's Stone" (Stone of Sage), Nicolas Flamel (1330) in his alchemy thesis, writes that mercury and sulfur, various metals are melted in the furnace fire and distilled to proceed with work then the substance changed to black, gray white, green, white, orange and finally became rosy purple stone like poppy flower. And after all, the philosopher's stone was completed: he said that three times in all he converted mercury to gold with the Philosopher's stone.
A mysterious metal appears in the "Takeuchi documents" which Takeuchi Sukune, a Takeuchi family who served the Emperor has been told as an oral message. It is similar to the flickering of the flames but vermillion, never rusting metal. His specific gravity is lighter than gold, its pure substance is softer than iron, a legendary metal that becomes harder than platinum when alloyed. It is said to be "Hihiirokane" which was mined at Mt.Kakakono.
Monoatomic Gold and the Anunnaki
Zecharia Sitchin claimed that an alien race from the planet Nibiru, the Anunnaki, came to Earth in search of gold, and that man was created to serve as a worker in the extraction of this metal. Some scholars have suggested that perhaps the substance capable of saving their world and making them physically healthy and immortal was actually Monoatomic Gold and not common gold: the surprising result of combining the theories of Anunnaki and ORME leads to the almost inevitable conclusion that the purpose of the Anunnaki to arrive on Earth was to acquire the monoatomic elements in order to ingest them and therefore to be able to lead a long life. David Hudson himself argue that the primary form in which gold is found in seawater is in its monoatomic state therefore the first attempt by the Anunnaki to obtain gold would have been to extract it from seawater, in especially the upper part of the Persian Gulf where the Tigris and Euphrates rivers meet.

Sitchin and numerous researchers, including British essayist Laurence Gardner, reached the following conclusions:
The inhabitants of the planet Nibiru came to Earth with the main purpose was to extract gold and precious elements and to have a workforce capable of satisfying their needs they created humanity to which they provided the rudiments of civilization.
They would also have provided the organic and natural equivalent of ORME, the knowledge of its importance and the method by which it could be made and brought internally by the individual to selected individuals (such as kings and patriarchs ..): thus justifying their extraordinarily long life and the reason for their presence in leadership roles.
Monoatomic gold today: the discovery of extraordinary properties
Even today, monoatomic gold, due to its surprising characteristics, is being studied more and more, as it has a completely different atomic structure than the original metallic condition. Traces of monoatomic gold are also found in nature, but metallic gold can be transformed into monoatomic gold only through an alchemical process. These are the very particular physical and energy characteristics of monoatomic gold: It is a superconductor at room temperature and it seems to behave like an energy producer by being able to give, accumulate and receive light / information / energy without any loss. Its electrons merge with antielectrons and form opposite beams of light that rotate around the oval core and, at the same time, it produces an etheric prana vortex, which flows along a double helix through the nucleus of the atom which corresponds to the Kundalini energy. It produces a zero magnetic field (Meissner field, that is, it has the ability to "move" the magnetic field away from itself) around itself, which corresponds to man's MER-KA-BA. Merkaba is the light body of man, which includes spirit, life energy and soul. When they merge they form a unit that produces beams of light in counter rotation and able to overcome space and time.
Monoatomic gold exists only on 5/9 on the physical plane.
Pure monoatomic gold rises on the earth's magnetic field.
It does not wear out and its function and longevity are eternal.

According to the testimony of a group of alchemists, who have taken Monoatomic Gold for years, they have been able to observe the following physiological and energetic reactions (which coincide with ancient Egyptian texts, the Bible and the Vedas):
Regeneration of damaged cells including also brain neuronal cells
Strong activation of the endocrine glandular system especially as regards the pituitary gland, thymus and pineal gland
Significant increase in the flow of light and photons in both the meridian and nervous systems
Strengthening the immune system and increasing self-healing capacity
Increase in superconducting capacity and DNA energy flow
Reversal of the aging process which is significantly slowed down thanks to the energetic repair of the wrong programs in our DNA
Rebalancing and harmonious elevation of the frequencies of the chakras, of the body and of the Kundalini energy
Induction of an emotional balance
Expansion of the level of intelligence
Increase in stress management capacity
Strengthening the ability to manifest one's thoughts
Increased inner peace
Acquisition of greater clarity in the vision of external situations and consequent problem solving skills
Awakening of dormant potential
General improvement of the quality of life at all levels, both physical, emotional, mental and spiritual

Unbidden - Act 3, chapter 7
Masterlist | Previous | Next
Content warnings: None
Blaise walked in on Morgan after the worst of it had passed, but before he was ready to open his eyes or move. He groaned a protest as she checked his pulse. Her fingers felt hot against his skin. She was repeating his name, he realized.
"Morgan. Morgan. Come on, say something if you're all right."
He tried. His mouth made a couple of syllables but they were incoherent and nearly formless, not the words he'd been aiming for. He took a deeper breath and tried again, producing something not entirely unlike "all right". Close enough.
"What the fuck, Morgan?" Her tone of voice was hard to identify. He forced his eyes open a little. Her tone of face was also hard to identify. Partly relieved, partly annoyed, partly something else. "What the hell are you doing out here? Why didn't you let me know where you were? What are -" There was a clinking as she picked up the bottles. "Are you getting high? Tell me you have a better explanation than that," she said, disgust colouring her voice.
Morgan took another deep breath and pushed himself up into a seated position. He lurched sideways - the golem hadn't responded to his command properly. Wait, no, he hadn't commanded it properly. It was a golem, after all; moving them was not the same as moving his body. That was going to take some getting used to.
"You're going to have to start talking soon. I know it's not easy here, gods know I hate this fucking jungle and everything in it, but this is not an acceptable way to deal-"
"I'm not..." He winced. The pounding of his head intensified when he spoke. He tried to keep his voice low. "... doing that."
"You know I'd love to believe you, but the evidence is all pointing to you doing exactly that. Akarat's beard, Devak is useless after just one of these things and you're half his size. Why the fuck are you alone out here getting knocked off your ass on Alkor's concoctions? No, wait, let me guess - is it for the Balance?" Morgan closed his eyes. The revulsion in Blaise's voice was punishment enough; he wished she didn't have to be shouting, too.
"Yes, actually." As the words exited his mouth, it occurred to him that it was probably not the wisest choice of responses. At least it bought him a few precious moments of silence to gather his thoughts. Blaise was gaping at him open-mouthed when he risked looking at her again.
"You have ten seconds to explain yourself before I fucking lose it," she finally snarled.
"I came out here alone because I needed to focus. I took those potions because I needed the power."
"For what, exactly?"
"To fix this." The golem arm lifted on command this time.
"Fix what?"
Oh, she thought he was gesturing with that arm. His sleeve had fallen down to cover it. He pushed the fabric back up with his other hand, revealing the improved limb. The flesh was smoother than it had been, the valleys of its many scars filled in with new tissue. It was not quite the same colour as the rest of his body, strangely ashen now. It was pleasing to see it was no longer blackened as it had been. Possibly a side effect of integrating such a comparatively large item.
"This arm. It's a golem now."
"What? Really? You can do that? Holy-" She started to reach out, then stopped herself. "Hang on. Is that what Ormus got so upset with you about?"
Morgan wouldn't have characterized it as upset, exactly. The mage had expressed his reservations at length, though, and with some volume at times. He'd just wanted to draw upon the other man's experience, which apparently had included being an observer to some unfortunate experimentation with carnomancy. It had been an informative lecture.
"I considered his concerns." He could tell by the twist of her mouth that he'd chosen the wrong thing to say. "The benefits outweighed the risks," he explained. It didn't seem to help.
"Outweighed - how?" Morgan grimaced as the pitch and volume of her voice rose, stabbing a spike of pain behind his eyes. That particular turn of phrase only had one meaning. So she wanted more explanation, but clearly she didn't want to listen to it at the moment.
"Why are you so angry," he said quietly, pressing his hand to his eyes. Maybe if he just kept his voice low, she would follow suit. "I'm just trying to -"
"Why am - this is dangerous, Morgan!" She had not followed suit. She was just getting louder. "Out here, on your own, fucking - experimenting on yourself. You don't even have a sentry to keep watch. Did you forget about the jungle full of things that want to kill us? You could have died out here!"
That hit him just the wrong way. His head was throbbing, every inch of him was uncomfortable, and he couldn't muster up the energy to figure out how he was supposed to respond. Not when anything he could say was going to be wrong. "What does it matter," he hissed instead.
"It matters because you're my friend, you asshole!"
That snapped his eyes open. "What?"
Blaise turned away, throwing her hands in the air. "You're being an ass! I'm not going to apologize for saying it, honestly there's a lot worse I could think of to call you right now. We have an important job to do, you can't just take a big risk like this without - don't make that face, I said I'm not apologizing."
The rudeness wasn't the part he was having difficulty with. She could be upset for a lot of reasons, they didn't always make sense to him. It was something else that had brought his thought processes grinding to an abrupt halt.
"... I'm your friend?"
"Don't try to change the subject, of course you are, why wouldn't... wait, really? Seriously? Of course seriously, you're always serious. You honestly... all right, so why do you think I'm here in this horrible jungle in the first place?"
"Because an angel told us to come here."
"All right, yeah, that's true. But why was I in that tomb with you when we met the angel?"
"Because Jerhyn agreed you should pursue Baal, to cut off the demonic attacks at their source." He pulled at the hem of his shirt. It was better than it had been earlier, but it was still a discomfort. This reiteration of past events wasn't answering any of the questions he suddenly found himself with, either. At least Blaise's anger seemed to be fading.
"That's also true, but it's not the whole - all right, this isn't working. Look, of course we're friends. We've been friends ever since you buried - reburied - our old commander, at the Sisterhood." Morgan watched in confusion as she seated herself in front of him. It was possible she'd taken the portal lesson as a token of friendship, but... no, that didn't line up with the rest of the evidence.
"You said - after that, after Andariel - you said you didn't like me. Friends are people you like."
"Did I say that? I don't remember... but," she continued quickly, "there's a lot I don't remember. Sometimes I say things I don't really mean. Especially if I'm upset. I just say whatever pops into my mind, and it isn't always true."
"You also hit me several times."
Blaise grimaced. "I did, didn't I? But I apologized for it, I remember that much. I'm - do you really - all this time we've been travelling together, do you still think we aren't friends? That nothing changed? That I don't even like you? Even after everything that happened in the desert?"
"You're a good person," Morgan reminded her. "And you can be kind to someone even if you don't like them. I... yes, I assumed nothing had changed." He kept tugging at the rough threads of his shirt. "You never said anything to the contrary," he added. Between the confusion and the discomfort, he almost wished he could crawl right out of his skin like a moulting lizard.
"You idiot. Look at me." He did, nervously. She was looking into his eyes, eyebrows slightly raised, intense in her focus. No longer visibly angry, which was a positive. "Listen, I really mean this. You're my friend, Morgan. I like you, I like having you around. I think you're a good person too. I care about you, I care about what happens to you, and that's why I'm upset right now. I thought you were dead for a minute there. I know it's somehow not a big deal for you, but I care if you live or die. So talk to me next time before you do something big like this, all right?"
He had no idea how to respond. All he had were questions, mainly why? Why in all of creation would someone like her decide to choose him as a friend? Friends were supposed to be equals, in his understanding, and he was so much less than her in every measurable way. It didn't make any sense. But he would have to grapple his way through that baffling puzzle later. Right now she was looking expectantly at him, waiting for an answer.
"All right," he said. "I'll try."
"You'd better," Blaise said, holding his gaze for a long second. "Now what made you decide to... go through with this? I don't understand a whole lot of what Ormus says on a good day, but he seemed to think it was a really bad idea. And I know your arm was in rough shape, but I thought you had that under control."
At least Morgan had an answer ready for that question. He'd debated it for long enough to reach a concise conclusion. "Andariel left me crippled. Duriel was quick to see that weakness, and we are searching for much stronger demons than him. When I found a way to lessen the damage, I thought it wisest to take it. I do not wish to face a Prime Evil with an obvious vulnerability."
"All right, that's fair enough. I get it. Now, enlighten me. What would have happened if this... process didn't work?"
He looked down at his hands. Why did she have to ask that? Based on the conversation they'd just had, she wasn't going to like the answer, no matter how he put it. "It did work," he tried, turning the golem back and forth in demonstration, flexing its fingers.
"That's not what I asked." There was an edge to Blaise's voice, and Morgan fought the urge to flinch away. "You said the benefits outweighed the risks. I want to know what the risks were."
"I was very careful. Even after I found the dagger, I spent days and days thinking about it before I tried anything."
"Stop dancing around the answer."
"None of the ways it could have gone wrong were very likely to happen. I planned for that."
"Likely or not, what would have happened?"
He sighed. He knew he'd never win this battle of wills with her. "Bodies are complicated systems. Any mistakes could have been fatal."
"Morgan-"
"I didn't realize it would upset you," he hastened to add. "I wasn't trying to make you angry. I just wanted to be stronger, to be able to help you. To help keep the Balance," he added. His priorities were a little confused, between his duty and Blaise and the angel's entreaty, but they all pointed in the same direction at the moment.
Blaise pinched the bridge of her nose. "That's really not what I - all right, ignoring the rest of the problems with that for now, you can't help anything by being dead."
"I'm not dead," he pointed out.
"And I want you to stay that way, understand?" He nodded. It wasn't something he could promise, and he still didn't really feel like he'd grasped why she would want that, but the fact of her wishes was clear enough. She seemed mollified for the moment, giving in to curiosity instead.
"Now tell me about this," she demanded, pointing at the golem. "Was it hard? It must have been hard. You hardly ever use potions. What does it feel like? Did it hurt? Can I touch it? Why did you mention a dagger earlier?"
He held it out for her to examine. "I had to use an enchanted item to fortify it. Like I do sometimes with the clay golems. It was a dagger. The process was more complicated than I expected. It took a lot of energy, and there are some things I still want to try. But the side effects of Alkor's potions are stronger than I'm used to, and I don't want to take any more of them. So I'll have to wait."
She lifted his wrist, running one hand up to his elbow. "That feels so weird," she breathed, but it didn't stop her from repeating the gesture. "It's not quite like regular skin. Can you feel this?"
"Sort of." He actually hadn't given much thought to input like touch. It was nice that it didn't hurt like it had before, and that was as far as he'd considered it. The ache at the connection point was almost ignorable, minor in comparison. He did feel something, but it was hard to tell if it was actually from the physical contact, or if it he just thought he felt it because he could see it happening.
He asked the golem to relay a sense of touch and regretted it instantly. It gave him too much, and not the way he'd hoped - not enough focus on the outside, but a very clear sense of the softly pulsating pressure on each of the individual tendrils buried in the living flesh. It also drew more power from him to accomplish that, which was another new and uncomfortable sensation. He shut his eyes and told it to stop.
Blaise pulled back. "Sorry, was that too much?"
Morgan shook his head. "It's not that, it's not you." He took a steadying breath. "I was just trying something. I should have waited." He squinted up at the specks of light filtering into the building through the thick jungle canopy. "The plan was to rest for another hour or two."
"I guess I blew that, huh?"
"Yes. But I'm glad you came. You don't have to wait with me," he added after a moment's thought.
"Nah, it's nice enough in here. Good spot." She leaned back, propping herself up on her elbows. "I'm glad you finally figured out how to take a break."
"What do you mean?" Of course he knew how to take a break. Everyone knew how to rest, it was a simple matter of not doing anything.
"I mean it's good that you're taking the time you need to recover now. You know, instead of pushing yourself until you can barely walk." She gave him a pointed look. "Like in the desert, when we were looking for the Horadric cube."
"Oh." He had run himself ragged for that. But it had been worth it in the end. It had been essential to get them as far as they were now. Which was, upon reflection, still trailing behind the Prime Evils. It was difficult to know just how far behind they were. Tyrael had told them to hurry, he recalled with a jolt. It was slow going through the cursed jungle. This endeavour had only cost a few hours, but the nagging tug of urgency was starting to pull again.
Morgan took stock of himself. He'd planned to recuperate, but how much did he really need to? The shaking had stopped, his heart rate had returned to normal. He was feeling more than a little drained, though, and his head still ached painfully. "I'm nearly rested enough to start moving," he offered. "There haven't been as many demons down along the river, we could-"
"Don't even fucking think about it," Blaise said cheerfully. "I take it back. When normal, sane people say they're rested, they mean they feel good and they're actually ready to go. When you say it, you just mean you don't think you'll collapse right away. Do you understand the difference there?"
"The difference is that I know my limits," Morgan replied. That was necessary for a priest of Rathma, the ability to gauge oneself accurately, to be able to do the maximum amount of work without walking unnecessarily into death's embrace.
"The difference is that you seem to think your limit is dying!"
"Of course. Don't you?"
"Well, obviously that's a limit for everyone, don't get sarcastic with me."
"I'm not."
Blaise stared at him for a second. "No," she agreed, "you're not. You just... you're missing the point."
"What is the point?"
"Well, you wouldn't ask me to go out hunting demons the next day after being-" She cut herself off abruptly, looking away. "Right after getting seriously injured," she finished, "would you?"
"Of course not."
"But you don't treat yourself the same way."
"No," he agreed. "That's different."
"It shouldn't be different. Why is it different?"
"My duty is more important than my comfort."
Blaise rolled her eyes. "Ugh, your duty. Is it more important than your life?"
"Yes."
"No, it isn't!"
"Of course it is. Long ago, Rathma created our order with the sacred charge to maintain the Balance of the Great Cycle of Being. If it slips too far to the Darkness, the Chaos, humanity suffers. If it slips too far to the Light, the Order, humanity stagnates. Humankind can only progress if the Balance is even. We dedicate our whole selves to keeping the Balance. A single life or death is nothing to the Cycle. Death comes to all living things. And if there comes a time when my death would serve better than my life, I will gladly choose death. That is our way."
Blaise was silent for a time. "You know," she said eventually, "the more I learn about your Order, the less I think I like it."
Despite himself, Morgan's heart sank. The Order was a central part of him as much as he was part of it. If she didn't like it, it logically followed that she didn't actually like him either. That must have been a misunderstanding on his part. He often had trouble with people's intentions. She really just liked having him around, as she'd said - he'd been making himself useful enough for that, at least. That was fine. It was better that way, really. More familiar, easier to understand.
"You're more than just a tool for the Balance, Morgan," Blaise continued. Your life has value on its own."
"No, I - we don't... that's for other people," he said, taken aback. That was not at all what he'd been expecting to come next. And it was wrong. A kind sentiment, to be sure, but still wrong.
"Why can't it be for you?"
It was Morgan's turn to think quietly for a while. The relentless pounding of his head was making it hard to concentrate. Of course there was a reason, but the words to explain it wouldn't present themselves. Priests of Rathma had to hold themselves to a different standard than other people. They were selected to do important work, and in doing so, they shed the conceit of personal importance in favour of the truth. They stepped outside the normal systems of value and worth, for it would be impossible to measure anything accurately from the inside of that sphere. It had to be that way. It was important. There was value in it, a different sort than the value Blaise thought she saw in him.
That was a large and unruly concept, one that threatened to overwhelm the emotional control he'd managed to rebuild. She saw value in him. Not for his work, just for his... self. How strange, how wrong, how tempting. How good that might feel, if he let it. To be worth something in someone else's eyes. A long-buried part of him wanted that, much more strongly than he would have guessed. That part warred with his sense of duty, his obligation to the Order.
He didn't need validation, didn't need to prove himself to anyone any more - he'd been deemed adequate to take on a task for the betterment of humanity, and that was enough. He didn't need friends. That was a want, not a need, and a want that should have been overcome long ago. Personal relationships weren't forbidden per se, but they were dangerous in that they could lead to an erosion of objectivity. But if he could be very, very careful, that hopeful part of him suggested, maybe he could manage it. Maybe he could earn this. The possibility left him feeling strangely, pleasantly light.
"Well?"
Morgan blinked hard to refocus himself. "I don't have an answer for you," he admitted. Strangely, Blaise seemed to be satisfied with that response.
"Well, keep thinking about it. We aren't going anywhere for a while. You just... rebuilt your whole arm. Fuck, that's amazing. Take your damn time recovering."

hey heads up because my dumbass friend fell for it, but Monoatomic Gold/Ormus/White Gold Powder is fake as hell, which should be obvious by the sales pitch as a cure-all, gives you telepathic/psychic abilities, anti-aging, DNA-activator, alchemical element, and other ridiculous things. Monoatomic elements are also impossible lmao. It’s sold in the spiritual homeopathic world of nonsense scam medicine. In more extreme circles, it supposedly makes you levitate (lmao) and explains how the Egyptians built the pyramids (that just pisses me off).
It comes in three forms on the market: liquid (water mixed with mica), white powder (mica), and rocks (probably salt rocks and mica). Wanna know how I know it’s all mica? I use mica to mix with resin to make it sparkly, and a friend of mine uses mica to make her cake frosting metallic looking. I saw a picture of someone playing with the powder like “wow look how it clings to my fingers weightlessly! it’s truly beyond this universe” which made me laugh because mica is notoriously sticky and feels very smooth when it’s on your fingers. Mica can come in all colors, and it’s harmless to eat. It’s also used to make car paint and toothpaste....
There is power in placebos like this, but ultimately it’s the person who manifests their reality, not the supplement lol. Folks who believe in this stuff tend to think science is cynical or that critics haven’t opened their third eye to see the truth (cult talk, when used in this way), so it might just be something you have to let people fall for (like mine, who just believes in this stuff harder if people tell him it’s fake lol). But if you have a friend who is interested in this stuff who hasn’t abandoned science and reality completely, it doesn’t hurt to let them know.

HI here are some assorted albedo xenosaga headcanons. some i have evidence for and some are just bc it feels right lol. some r also longer than others
under a cut for Courtesy and also because holy shit this got long
when albedo laughs (and i mean actually laughs, not the evil laugh. this is about when he happy laughs) he closes one eye. just one
albedo always sort of wanted to be friends with sakura, but he was mad bc of the whole “she’s stealing rubedo away” thing. but part of it was also that he felt like he had to be mad, and that if he wasn’t mad, he’d be... giving up, somehow? letting her win? even though he wanted to be her friend. she was always nice to him and i think the two of them did have at least a few genuinely good times together (since in the xsiii database, it says she actually asked both rubedo and albedo to look out for momo for her). sakura was also definitely smart enough to see through him being a dumb idiot baby, and she knew he wanted to be friends.
tangentially related, albedo was definitely super traumatized by sakura’s death. he never actually told rubedo how it happened, or even that he was there, and part of why he started treating the kirschwassers awfully was trying to like... recreate sakura’s death, but a version where he’s in control of everything. part of it is also him being a dumb little stupid little dumb-dumb but we already know that
when he’s bored or nervous, he twirls his hair. he did this more when he was younger and not so much grew out of it as consciously stopped doing it bc margulis thought it was cute and eventually he didn’t want to like... encourage margulis to like him or think of him as a son because he got super duper suicidal
ok this one isn’t a headcanon it’s just a fact: albedo loves gaignun. not as much as jr., because twins and all that, but he definitely loves gaignun. in both xenosaga ii and iii, he tells his brothers he hates them, but that’s... really just him trying to say he loves them, if that makes sense. in xsii, jr. kills him, and albedo says that “at least now i won’t have to worry about losing anyone anymore”, which makes jr. upset because, oh no! albedo was planning the entire time to get killed by jr. all that stuff about how “i want to tear you to pieces” was bs, he just wanted to die, he never actually hated jr. (or at least, not to the extent that he says he does.) albedo then says “no, i hate you and nigredo”. but he says it so... halfheartedly? and given the context and what was just said before, it really just reads as albedo trying to sort of... make it easier for jr., to convince him that he did hate him, so he shouldn’t feel bad about killing him. and he makes sure to include gaignun in this, even though it would arguably make more sense to just ignore him if albedo really didn’t care about him. THEN, in xsiii, he shows up when yuriev is being scumbag of the year. while he talks about how jr. should just kill gaignun, since it would be easiest and that’s what he wants, he also... doesn’t really refuse at all when jr. asks him to help him, and is completely willing to die in order to take out yuriev while keeping gaignun’s consciousness alive within jr. this is another time he tells them he hates them... while he’s in the middle of helping them. he’s contradicting himself as he’s saying it. in fact, he actually gets upset when gaignun foils his plans and sacrifices himself, which would not make sense at all whatsoever if he hated gaignun. anyway this part got really long but albedo loves both his brothers this isn’t up for debate
i’ve talked about this before but albedo just. fucking hated cherenkov so much. he’d set traps in his rooms like he’s kevin mccallister and cherenkov couldn’t do shit because he was, for all intents and purposes, margulis’s son and whenever cherenkov brought up the most recent assassination attempt, margulis would just say some shit like “he’s been through a lot. be patient with him.” it was very sweet but also completely unhelpful for everyone
he dislikes dogs. he HATES alby. wants to shoot that dog into space
when he was younger, he would actually read... whatever ormus’s holy book is (the bible, i guess, huh?) with margulis because he was genuinely very interested in reading it and margulis was helpful in clarifying and rewording things. this is how he can quote the whole “except a corn of wheat” thing. revelation 9:6 is also important to him, for obvious reasons (“And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.”)
UHHH i know i have more but i can’t think of ’em. maybe someday i’ll make a part 2 who knows hooty hoo
#this got. ABSURDLY LONG holy shit#christianity tw#in the very last one. its xenosaga ormus christianity but still#personal#i guess? not really but i dont have an original post tag

Also remember that it requires a little time and attempt to acquire sufficient gold, coin, and other things necessary for updating a hero.
You may both upgrade from a weak hero into the best personalities in Idle Heroes by paying your way through. Paying to update your heroes will produce the advancement to be quicker.
But you'll not ever need to pay a dime to update or play with the sport satisfactorily if you're prepared to spend time and effort demanded. You may even boost the degree of your heroes simply by sitting idle and seeing the sport progress.
This is possible since the game can proceed with no intervention for eight consecutive hours. From the time you check back after eight hours, then you'd have noticed some improvements, listed some successes and gotten some updates to your own heroes.
You may also have made a normal 5-star hero inside those eight hours. In this manner, you won't need to bear any expense to improve your heroes or undergo plenty of stress to attain this.
The only issue is that the updating will take you a very long moment. If you can tolerate the waiting, then you Won't have any problem
You require Gold and Spirit to improve your heroes. Both Gold and Spirit are simple to obtain if you haven't reached level 30. On the other hand, the narrative changes afterward.
Many want to learn more about the best personalities in characters that are idle, but there is, regrettably, no direct answer to that query.
Virtually all of the fantastic personalities have their particular benefits. An individual may, therefore, not state specifically which of these is the most powerful.

Table of Contents
The finest personalities in Idle Heroes is seen in the majority of the phases of heroes in this sport. We've split the very best personalities to five tiers and we'll highlight each of these under.
Each of the personalities mentioned below has exceptional immersive abilities the best one of all of the heroes that are reactive in Idle Heroes are all Skerei, Sigmund, and PVE.
Be as it may, you need to dedicate it to memory that lots of men and women disagree with the listing of tiers and you will find, therefore, many versions.
We've taken this into account to supply you with a fantastic list you will discover decent and provable.
Tier 1 personalities: This is the greatest of All of the Idle Heroes. These personalities ought to be the long-term objective of any participant and needs to be utilized when at all possible. This grade is evenly called God. The personalities in this grade are highlighted below:
This is a really good tier to state that the actuality. You will discover all the personalities here to be workable selections daily. Another name for the grade is High. Heroes belonging to the grade are highlighted below:
This grade is midway among most of the tiers. Some refer to the personalities within this routine as truly not the very best or the worst; they're more or less ordinary personalities in their skills.
If you don't have a better choice, you can choose any of those heroes within this tier. Another name for the grade is Mid. The personalities in this grade are highlighted below:
This is a comparatively low grade. It's not a good idea to utilize the heroes within this tier. In case you have reason to use them, however, be certain that you replace them whenever possible. Another name for the grade is Low. The personalities belonging to the grade are highlighted below:
This tier includes the worst pair of heroes that you can imagine in the Idle Heroes. If you're searching for the best personalities in Idle Heroes, then you shouldn't ever think about the heroes for almost any reason. Particular conditions may compel you to need to utilize the heroes, but you need to avoid using the heroes as far as you can.
Each of the above 200 heroes in Idle Heroes will need to begin the match from Tier 1. This doesn't imply that their celebrity levels are also exactly the same; it'll differ, based on the special hero.

The grade and the celebrity level of these heroes can be upgraded as you advance from the match. The star level is a sign of how powerful or weak which hero is.
The lowest star degree is 1, while the best is 10. Heroes in the 10-star degree are regarded as the most powerful heroes. After degree 30, any hero under 3-star will become useless.
Because of this, it's not a good idea to squander your preceding resource to update one or more of these heroes because it will all prove to be a waste of time and energy.
You must rather direct your points to utilize. Rather than updating any hero under a 3-star degree, you must rather concentrate on updating heroes from 4-star degrees.
The 4-star heroes could be updated so far as 10-star heroes. Furthermore, some 4-star personalities are as powerful as most 5-star heroes.
Furthermore, many 4-star heroes may even conquer some 5-star heroes fair and square in conflict.
While the celebrity level denotes the potency of every one of those heroes, the grade degree, on the other, indicates that the ability level of each one of those heroes.
The heroes at grade 1 have the ideal set of abilities and would be definitely the most useful of all of the heroes.
On the flip side, 5-star tier heroes would be the weakest and it isn't a good idea to utilize any of these as a part of your group; a staff containing tier 5 personalities won't ever fare well in conflict.
Having routine 1 hero on your group will make the battle much simpler for you. Matters even get better if the grade 1 personalities are updated in their celebrity amounts.
You can update the grade degree of your heroes once you reach level 30, the exact same way in which the star level in case your heroes could be updated.
You must, nevertheless, remember the situation described above isn't perfect; this is since a normal 5-star hero is more powerful than an updated 5-star hero.
Rather than trying to update the hero out of 4-star into 5-star, it's far better to just watch out for organic 5-star heroes.
It Doesn't matter if the 5-star personalities have lesser tier degree; the grade level could be updated as any which you need for a better performance of your own hero in conflict
An additional classification of the top personalities in Idle Heroes Tier List Below is the classification of the top personalities in Idle Heroes:
The top heroes among moderate Heroes are:
Asmodel, that will be a Warrior Brain Michelle, that will be a Ranger Gerke, that will be a Priest Dark personalities The top personalities in idle heroes within this category are

As you advance in the sport, the number of heroes you accumulate will increase.
As you progress farther, the number of heroes you'll have as a part of your group will keep on increasing. Even though this might seem like a fantastic thing, it's its own action of challenges.
By way of instance, the participant can quickly make mistakes when picking the heroes to utilize as a result of the massive number of heroes he's at his disposal. This may result in a devastating outcome for the participant.
The massive number makes it hard for most players to recall what distinct personalities do and just how to make the ideal choices to form a group.
The issue described above is significantly more prevalent among novices, but lots of experts seldom encounter this mistake.

Before you're able to make the ideal selection of heroes when picking your group, you need to first understand the aura and courses of every one of those heroes; this is going to make the process a whole lot simpler for you.
Professionals from the Idle Heroes sport have the opinion the ideal approach to construct an excellent team is to select 1 hero from each of these factions.
You can pick your heroes from those highlighted above, but be certain the personalities you select are one of the best previously mentioned. In this manner, you can get the most out of every battle on Idle Heroes.
Another personality with two or more three-star ratings can't deliver a lot of your expectations. It is, nevertheless, possible to change the heroes with an extremely low score to 5-star personalities, but the procedure is going to take a good deal of effort and time from your participant.
Some specialists in Idle Heroes sport believe that the period required is too long and doesn't value the effort
Conclusion The details given above could have opened your eyes to the very top personalities in Idle Heroes' tier listing. By this time, you could have known the difference between grade level and celebrity level.
Remember to utilize the info offered to create the perfect decision when putting a strong group of heroes together in conflict.

Colloidal Gold
Colloidal Gold has been referred to by the ancients, Ancient Egyptians and Atlanteans or otherwise known as the Annunaki were known to consume colloidal gold, It was written in the emerald tablets written by Thoth or Hermes that they consumed monatomic gold and they mixed colloidal gold and even took colloidal silver. Thoth taught alchemy in the ancient mystery schools of Kemit otherwise known as Egypt.
He taught astronomy, alchemy, mathematics the 7 laws of the universe and was known to be the King of wisdom. It is said he lived for 11000 yrs. He was known as the image of a man with a bird head. This was because when the bird digs in the dirt he forages in the dark and then brings up to the light. This was Thoth trait. he brought from the dark to the light. His goal was and he succeeded to bring and teach and raise the vibration of the individual with this positive wisdom. It is said just from reading the emerald tablets they possess the ability to change one’s vibration. words have power and resonate vibration and create
it was not uncommon for Egyptian kings to live long periods, stone tablets relay many instances of kings reigning for up to 28000 yrs old. This sounds hard to believe but you just need to look at how advanced the Ancient Egyptians were. Thoth claimed he was the builder and architect of the pyramids which we cannot replicate today even from the highest degree of engineers. He also stated that he transferred his consciousness into another being in the halls of Amenti inside the great pyramids.
we are very close to this today with Elon musks new invention and also we have done this with monkeys.
Time and technology are progressing, but it’s true that Ancient wisdom has been hidden from us in many forms to stop us from having powers of Telepathy Clairvoyance or Clearsentaince. This comes from our hidden crystals or transmitters on the pineal gland that can advance our soles spiritually.
Monatomic gold was taken in the hierarchy of kings and pharaohs for higher spiritual consciousness and longevity for it is known to activate the Pineal gland. Evidence shown is that Sphinx Ormus can enhance the Aura and boost all 7 chakras to 100% this is shown on Aura imaging photography software. This product has colloidal Gold mixed in with it at 42 PPM.
This is showing proof of how Gold, Colloidal Gold, and Monatomic gold is enhancing us spiritually. Aura increasing can make us operate more efficiently, strengthen our immune, and have stronger manifestation powers, Increased immune. This Reiki master or natural healer’s goal from ancient natural healing methods is to get all chakras unblocked and running smoothly so energy or Chi, or Prana can flow to heal organs.
Our Intuition is enhanced as the cortisol receptor in our skin pick up on negative energies, danger etc are amplified to a larger area from the aura being increased and coming into contact with another Aura this cortisol is activated to notify us on one of our sixth senses.
The Chinese were also civilisations that used gold therapy or Chrysotherapy. The main point of these therapies was to reverse or inhibit and prevent joint and bone damage from rheumatism rheumatoid arthritis and ageing.
Colloidal Gold was also used in Medieval Europe, Alchemists produced powdered gold and fed it to people in drinks for sour limbs, and arthritis.
In Ancient Rome gold ointments or creams were used for skin ulcers.
Archaeologists discovered that Gold was used for dentistry 4500 years ago.
Approx 1890 a German bacteriologist named Robert Koch discovered that gold compounds inhibited the growth of tuberculosis bacillus. He received a noble prize in medicine
Colloidal gold benefits
Colloidal Gold offers promising benefits with much research still underway, Colloidal Gold benefits offer pain relief in association with arthritis and rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis. Gold is able to remove blockages, and assist with poor circulation and tissue regeneration of the heart spleen, pancreas and muscles.
Other Benefits of colloidal Gold are that it assists the Pineal gland and the pituitary glands and is effective against aneurysms. It stabilises collagen which is a contributor to anti Ageing. It also helps to assist in the absorption of nutrients. It inhibits or releases enzymes as required by the body. Colloidal gold benefits have a positive effect on the rhythmic balancing of the heart and improve blood circulation.
Gold stimulates the glands and assists with the nerves as its a superconductor and passes energy with no net loss or resistance so electrical impulses of the body can run optimally. Gold can regulate temperature and assist with chronic fatigue and is known to be used for neurological dysfunction and can assist with depression.
Another benefit of colloidal Gold is it is helpful for addictions. Monatomic gold is also proven to boost Left right-brain balancing within minutes and this can boost intelligence as the brain’s traits can run optimally if one side is running down. This study was done by the Swiss alpha institute in Switzerland.
Studies Research MONATOMIC GOLD
It also possesses remarkable sedative properties without impairment.
The main trait of colloidal Gold is to strengthen the natural Immune system and to optimise our DNA potential.
More on Colloidal Gold
Colloidal Gold is nanoparticles of gold that are suspended in high-quality distilled water. The different concentrations of colloidal Gold relate to the particle size and colour. The darker the colour the more concentrated the Colloidal Gold.
Many companies make colloidal gold using gold chloride this is not good for health and has been proven to be harmful, and many don’t expose this method on the labels as it’s cheaper to make.
It is important to use pure unadulterated gold of 24k and 99.99% purity for consumption or other harmful heavy metals can expose one to consequences. Copper is also used to make colloidal gold and it’s also important that this is solid pure copper preferably medieval grade.
At Sphinx Ormus one of our Products is Sphinx Colloidal Gold we use 24K 99.99% pure gold and Pure medical grade Copper with ultra-high quality distilled water to achieve the best quality gold and we produce the most potent strength with a PPM of 200. This is up to 10x the strength of common Colloidal Gold on the market. This is much more expensive because of the Gold concentration. We also vortex our colloidal gold which is nature’s way of energising and bringing water to life with the benefits of better hydration as it accesses the body’s cells easier. Our product comes in cobalt blue glass bottles “not plastic” and this is known by the ancient Egyptians and Romans to raise the vibration of the liquid from the violet colour spectrum. We believe that glass is essential for such a high-value quality product.
Current research does not state any “ideal dosage ” The dose that works for one does not necessarily work for another and this goes for Ormus or Monatomic gold. It seems the spiritual people seem to have a strong noticeable effect on the monatomic gold as they are more spiritually aware and sensitive to energies. We recommend taking 5 MLS of Sphinx Colloidal Gold per day.

I have a little idea for the 1k followers. As I followed this blog recently, I was wondering about his history. If you feel like it, could do a summary? Like, why did you start it? Your first joy/disappointment. Any thing that we haven't see that you might want to share. Absolutely anything about the blog and you. (If you're comfortable with it of course)
This is a very good idea, lovable anon, I’ll try.
History:
It was 17th November 2015, somewhen in Tuesday afternoon. I don’t remember what exactly sparked the idea of starting this blog, but I can say for certain that it was heavily inspired by the @bleachlists (which is, if you ask me, better humor than canon Bleach). And thus the first list was born.
(I never expected this blog to get famous. Or followers besides bots for that matter. I hoped, maybe, for a little circle of, like, 5 actual readers. I certainly didn’t think I would keep this blog for longer than 4 months. That’s how it is with me usually, I have bursts of inspiration but lack long-term dedication. The fact that this blog is still going is a miracle.)
At first the lists were written in the “chat” style. I had to make up my own prompts, because the two followers or so only hearted the posts but didn’t interact with me at all otherwise. That’s why the activity was very irregular at the time, I was writing when I was inspired and thus a month could pass without a word from me and then boom, three posts in a week. Additionally, I wasn’t writing only lists, but also short stuff, kind of like “Slice of life from Azeroth.” Of these the most famous is Chromie and Dragons and in my opinion the best one and not enough appreciated one is Kel’thuzad’s Heard Of Sylvanas’ Plans.
The first breakthrough came in January 2016 when an anon, who made me happy so much that I called them “lovable” in the list and kept on doing so for all following anons, requested the very first requested list, the Care of Babies list. For a long time this has been the list with the most notes. Now there are too many lists to keep count and Tumblr doesn’t do “the best of your posts,” but still it is one of the most popular posts I have and along with the Chromie and Dragons it still pops up in my notifications. Around April 2016 I had stable enough queue of requested lists to stop making up my own prompts, thus I could completely rely on prompts from followers, most of them from anons.
Another important milestone was August of the same year: First of all, I came up with a posting schedule (Fridays and Mondays, but two months later I understood that was too fast - It ate the prompts faster than they were prompted, and I wasn’t managing it). Then Taedal was added to the lists, at first he was meant as a joke, as I keep reminding him and everyone else, and somehow it happened he stayed here. Additionally, Varian and Vol’jin’s deaths were acknowledged, putting Anduin on the list. Soon after, Garrosh joined in from beyond the veil to annoy Vol’jin in his afterlife.
About this time the blog began to create it’s own lore (and not only the L.O.R.E.), and I even had the (short-spanned) will to mystify people that Taedal is going to get his own expansion. I even had a sideblog dedicated to Taedal (in fact, it was Taedal’s own blog, intentioned as a RP blog but somehow it never…got much traffic) and even a wiki. The wiki still exists! I like to think of this as the Golden Age of HeadQuarters verse, when I even got fanfics on AO3 and a dozen of drawings for this blog even. This blog lives in an alternate universe where there is a new isle west of Pandaria and Garrosh adopted 37 dead children in the afterlife and learned to be a better person (not necessarily the same as good person, but let’s not lose hope).
I don’t remember exactly on what occasion in the 2017 the Interviews were added, but they were the first not-list which were requestable (that is, they weren’t the short filler stuff I used to make before). I think it was to celebrate the first 100 followers but I might be wrong. The first Interview was held with Taedal, by my decision, and ever since then the Interviews went by request every twenty days, moved to every other Wednesday, later as of not-so-recently, every other Tuesday. In the history of the Interviews, there happened to be only one which wasn’t published, because nobody asked any questions. (It was Interview with Kel’thuzad, pt. 3, and I jokingly said that “ when we met, the Archlich thought I used the Interview as an excuse to go out for a date with him and things went awkward” which resulted in this Top N list).
From there things went rather fast. To here actually. As a celebration for 600 followers (or was it 500? Memory fails me) I began writing Top N, sort of as of a filler in between the Interviews, so actually now this blog has moved back to the biweekly posting scheme very close to the one from 2016. Earlier this year (2018), there was a list about attack on not-Theramore, where I made up a character especially for my timeline speculations - because timeline shenanigans, it is a bronze dragon, and because it is representing me, the character is called Authormi. That is a very poor play on the word “author” (because I am the author of this blog) and the “-ormu/ormi” suffix characteristic for the Bronze dragonflight. Coincidentally, it was also the first time I have referred to myself with any sort of name here on this blog (besides the FAQ where is a link to my main blog) and I am using it since.
An important part of the blog is post maintenance when I try to at least twice a month (but if I’m very responsible, then every Friday evening) go thorough the blog, update the Interview, Top N, and L.O.R.E. pages, delete old request asks and so on. However, over the years a good number of not-request asks had piled up in here. They were…not filtered here and the blog seemed messy with them. Which is why Authormi vs. Inbox tag was created and from time to time when too many not-request asks pile here, I dump them into these post as a sort of archive. I admit that it is not, uh… ideal in case you are looking for something specific, but it keeps the blog clean. Well, cleaner.
The most recent new development of the blog was the addition of the Allied Races leaders - Alleria Windrunner for the Void Elves/Ral’dorei, High Exarch Turalyon for the Lightforged, Jaina Proudmoore for Kul Tiras, First Arcanist Thalyssra for the Nightborne Elves/Shal’dorei, Mayla Highmountain for the Highmountain Tauren Tribes, Overlord Geya’rah for the Mag’har Orcs, and Princess Talanji for the Zandalari. The choice of the leaders is taken from the information on the Allied Races from Wowpedia.
Speaking of Wowpedia, it is my primal source, besides personal experience, when it comes to writing the lists. I used to rely on WoWWiki, but, uh… that one turned a bit messy a couple of years ago and I never get around to check on it now. When I don’t know something, I look it up on Wowpedia. If it’s not on Wowpedia, I consider it a Free Real Estate lore wildcard, which means I can bullshit it out as long as it is lore/character consistent. I pride myself on giving the characters (leaders) some actual character, because, now correct me if I am wrong, Blizzard writers confuse character personality for that wind flapping pole. I am not saying that I am writing “good” or “pure” characters. They have faults, they are prejudiced, foolhardy, depressed (in not romantic ways), mean, holding grudges. Some, like Garrosh, Genn or Gallywix, are more straightforward in their flaws than others, but I am pouring a cup of sour traits to everyone here. (What I am saying here is: Be critical when you read your favorite leader’s opinion. They might not be right and/or honest.)
Overview, as of today, Monday 19th November 2018:
Published 174 lists, 24 more in the queue + bunch of requests hanging in the asks among the posts. (Somebody needs to do their maintenance)
Published 25 Interviews, 9 more in the queue + some in the asks too, I think I saw one request or two.
Published 21 Top N lists (most favoured number for N is 10), 0 in the queue.
1009 followers, woooo! I love you all. Except the 1009th one who is a porn bot, you can go fuck yourself. ‘Xcuse me. 1008 followers now!
The blog is 3 years and 2 days old. Happy birthday!
Authormi’s pick of lists to read (besides the one linked):
What they say far too often: Vintage one, so you see what the old style was like.
What do the think of the heroes: Meta one!
Their pick for a movie night: There were no guesses on what movie is a Ayeroth-verse of what Earth-verse. I am proud of some of those titles.
No Orc Invasion: The first timeline speculation, which I really lvoed. If somebody was to write that AU, I’d read it actually.
If they could erase one person from existence: Another timeline speculation. I like making those!
Draw the squad: Maybe you could draw the squad?
Watching Les Misérables: This one was an especially important journey for me, because this list is why I saw the musical in the first place. Later I read the book too (I love the book), got into some Les Mis RP, made some very good friends out of that… Yeah, I owe this one lovable anon who requested it a lot. (More or less, now I am also a professional Valjean RPer, except I don’t get paid for it. Whenever somebody who knows me joins a new RP server and they haven’t got Valjean, they usually ask me. Like… what? How? Why? Why do you all think I am a good Valjean? Why- Never mind, this is a Warcraft blog. Moving on.)
Spell of the Violent Tongue: The first time it has been brought to my attention that I think about the characters in a way a lot fo other people doesn’t, because this list surprised a lot of readers, and by surprised I mean hit into feels so hard they complained to me. I talked about it with my mum later (family support is an important thing for me and mum is fan of Warcraft), and I’ve been told that “I treat the characters maybe a bit too realistically.” PSA for everybody: Warcraft is a story about broken people and violent racism.
Their God Tier: For the people who are fan of Homestuck too. (Homestuck itself is good. The fandom is weird)
Garrosh’s 37 ghost children: By which they became more or less canon on this blog, a regular stuff which is to be counted with.
How do they insult people: The most recent popular post.
Interview with Azshara: My personally favorite thing I have ever written for this blog, as in, I don’t think I am going to peak it.
Interview with Luxien: Because I want to press Taedal’s story and “expansion” to everybody, read the interview with his older evil sister.
Top 10 favorite characters: I suppose you are a bit curious who my faves are, so here you go.
Top 10 changes to the story I would do: By heart I am a storywriter. I give such things a lot of thoughts. But as I’ve mentioned earlier, lack of dedication is… making things hard.
Other cool stuff to check out (maybe?):
Taedal’s expansion wiki, of course. I have a lot of thoughts about that world and story and… I would love to went about it a bit, too.
This very cool fanfic on AO3.
The official portrait of Taedal.
The official portrait of Authormi.
The description of this blog, as taken from my personal blog:
wowheadquarters (WoW HeadQuarters, World of Warcraft Headquarters, WoWHQ) is by far my most popular blog, despite being younger than SNTS. I add new content twice a week, on Tuesday and Friday. I never thought I’d make more than 10 posts in total, but there we go. I admit that the original idea comes from bleachlists, but it has sort of evolved since then. I am trying to keep the blog not contradicting the canon, but some things in the HeadQuartersverse might not always agree with the official lore
Final words from Authormi:
Oh my fucking god, this is really unbelieveable that this thing is still going on. I never expected this blog to live beyond a month. I never thought I’d get more than 20 followers. I have 1000 now? That’s… is that Tumblr-famous? I’ve never had this many followers. Do you all read this? All the stuff? Am I shaping your view on the Warcraft universe? This is too much power for one person to have.
You want to know what’s actually my happiest memory connected to this blog? It was actually some time back (because my memory is a mess, I can’t tell you how far back), I had a really, really stuffed couple of weeks. A lot of to do, but also mentally exhausted, I was in a bad place for a bit there. Usually I am able to kick myself in the ass, sit down and make up the list on the go, even if it is bound to be miserable wreck of text, I write it. Sometimes when I am super done and tired, I write it on Saturday evening and pretend it’s Friday and so far everyone’s been so kind and there’s been no comment to that. But in those two or three weeks I just… couldn’t. Even clinging to this self-made structure was too exhausting. I wasn’t on Tumblr for basically the whole time (my main blog was fuelled by the queue). Sometimes when I am in a good place, I write lists in advance and schedule them, but at that time no such a thing took place, so this blog went silent without announcement and I couldn’t care less. When I finally found it in me to come online, my inbox greeted me with various people who were asking me if I was okay and whether or not I am still alive written in a very worried manner. And you know… reading that helped me a lot at the moment. It was a reminder that somebody here cares for me and cares for what I do and… Yeah, it was a damn motivation to get myself together a bit and write stuff and do some stuff. Since then I’m trying to announce in advance if I think I am not going to make it, and even then I am still trying to write the list as soon as possible when I am fit to.
A story for your amusement on this “write it when possible” note. This summer I was with my 4 younger siblings (my oldest sister, still younger than I, turned 18 last Thursday, the youngest sibling who also happens to be a sister is 4, but I don’t live with all the siblings, blah blah divorced parents blah blah, not related) and dad and grandfather in the beautiful village (or town?) of Au in Austria. I took my old laptop with me (I’ve got a new one recently) which had battery that could live on it’s own for, like 10 minutes. The house we were living in had no wi-fi, but there was a village-wide public wi-fi… which din’t reach the house. The nearest was at the bus stop, but that one was shaky, and the good reliable hotspot was at the park, 10 minutes of walk away from the house. Now, it was nearly Friday and I needed to post the list. So I wrote it int he laptop’s notepad, then turned off its life support, took it and dashed across all of Au to the wi-fi hotspot, formatted the document into a list, and hit post. About 2 minutes later, the laptop died.
I am thinking about making another blog directly meant for the asks, request or not, and those would stay there. What do you all think? Maybe I would lose things there, I am quite capable of it.
I’d love to talk about Taedal and his demons and his entire story a bit more. But I haven’t got, like, a reason to do so. I am sort of insecure in this matter, I sort of have the feeling that nobody really cares for Taedal here. “What are you thinking, a ‘good demon’ OC?” (Ask me about Taedal and his faction and the Broken and Distant Worlds expansion. I have an expansion and half planned in my head.)
There is some kind of an expectation or anticipation in me to have someone from Blizz discovering this blog and some big consequences happening. I am not sure whether I want it to happen or not. I mean, I am a bit… too-critical of their work in attempt to please the crowd here. (It’s easy to search for flaws when you take the good stuff as the norm. You are actually doing a good job, Blizzard, in the terms of game developing and marketing. But there is that one post going around which says that Warcraft lore/story is written by 9 people who cannot talk to each other. In this spirit, I am sure that there are 4 people writing charcter psychological profiles who don’t know of each other’s existence. Your animation is a snack, though.)
Wow. I suck at summaries. This is as brief as it gets.

ORMUS : Is It The Philosopher's Stone? - with Barry Carter by Celeste Adams

Since ancient Egyptian times, alchemists have worked in secret, searching to produce something called the Philosopher's Stone or the Elixir of Life. Barry Carter and other researchers believe that ORMUS is related to this search. Since 1995, Barry Carter has been conducting experiments with water modified by ORMUS. He has written numerous articles on the subject and leads workshops around the country where he demonstrates three methods of producing ORMUS water. ORMUS comes from the acronym Orbitally Rearranged Monoatomic Elements, or ORMEs.[†] It was discovered in the late 1970s by David Hudson, an Arizona farmer who noticed some very strange materials on his land as he was mining for gold. During the next decade, Hudson spent several million dollars trying to understand how to create this substance and work with it. ORMUS, which is made from water and other substances, has also been called monoatomic gold, white gold, white powder gold, m-state, AuM, microclusters, and manna. Adams: There's a quote by D. H. Lawrence that says, "Water is hydrogen two parts, oxygen one part, and something else, though we don't know what it is." What did Lawrence mean by that? Carter: There are many unusual properties of water that aren't explainable by the known properties of hydrogen and oxygen or by any concept of how a compound of those two elements should behave.

There are perhaps thirty-two anomalous properties of water that are unexpected. We believe that those properties are due to the presence of ORMUS in most water molecules. Generally, it is believed that the water molecule is dodecahedral or icosohedral. In other words, the molecule is the shape of a geodesic dome, and this shape allows for a lot of space inside the molecule. Some of us believe that the ORMUS elements hide out in that inner space, inside the dome. From that space, the ORMUS can change the configuration of the water molecule so that it tightens or expands. This is the way we think that these elements may modify the structure of water. It's very clear that there's something else other than H2O — two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen — in ordinary water. One person that I've worked with said that triple distilled water, weighs eight pounds per gallon, but water that's made by burning hydrogen in oxygen weighs seven pounds per gallon. The difference between seven versus eight pounds per gallon indicates that there's a pound of something else in the water. Adams: What exactly is ORMUS? Carter: We think it's a new form of matter that appears to have properties of Spirit. It seems to be a transition between physical reality and spiritual reality. We believe that it can be used as a communication tool between spirit and matter. It is, literally, precious metal elements in a new form, a new state of matter. In this state they don't assay or analyze as the precious metal elements. They look like a white powder instead of like a metal. They can even show up as an oil. Because these materials look like other things, they have not been recognized by science. We've extracted the ORMUS element from the air, from rocks, and from water, including the water of the body. We believe that, perhaps as part of the water molecule, they are the carrier of the information that restructures water. Any system for structuring water depends on the ORMUS elements. Adams: What elements can be found in ORMUS? Carter: The ORMUS or m-state materials are thought to be the precious metal elements in a different atomic state. Cobalt 27, Nickel 28, Copper 29, Ruthenium 44, Rhodium 45, Palladium 46, Silver 47, Osmium 76, Iridium 77, Platinum 78, Gold 79, and Mercury 80 have been identified in this different state of matter and, with the exception of mercury, are listed in Hudson's patents. Adams: How was ORMUS first discovered? Carter: These elements appear to have been known in ancient times. The ancient Egyptians were clearly working with the ORMUS materials in their alchemical processes, and the ancient alchemists also were working with the ORMUS elements. You hear in alchemy about "oil of gold" — which is something we've made using the various ORMUS processes. David Hudson also spoke of the oil of the elements, or the oil of metals. Some people actually claim that they remember past lives in which they were working with these materials. Hudson discovered ORMUS when he was working with a gold-mining process. He was the first to make it known, but it's ancient knowledge that has been rediscovered. Now we are applying the tools of modern science to this ancient knowledge. The ancient Egyptians talked about the "white powder of gold." They have pictures on their bas reliefs of little cones called "shewbread." They say these little cones are white bread, and they also say they're gold. How could something be white bread and gold at the same time? Well, now we know. We've got the technology to make the white powder of gold and form it into a cone-shaped bread if we want to. Several of the procedures for extracting or making ORMUS have been adapted from ancient alchemical texts. We believe that the Philosopher's Stone and the Biblical manna are both variations on this state of matter. Some recommended alchemical texts related to the Philosopher's Stone are Sacred Science by R.A. Schwaller De Lubicz, Le Mystere des Cathedrales by Fulcanelli, and Occult Chemistry by Leadbeater and Besant. The premier treatise on the subject may be The Secret Book by Artephius. Adams: Why do you think this information has become available now? Carter: I think it's because all of the areas of science are dealing with the question of how Spirit and matter are connected, and ORMUS helps explain this. All the areas of science are bumping up against this question. We see people in physics saying there's a non-physical realm. David Bohm called it the Implicate Order. According to Bohm, the Explicate Order — physical reality as we know it — is a projection or a manifestation of this non-physical template. The ORMUS elements clearly connect the realms of the spiritual and the physical. We like to compare ORMUS to the use of cellphones. It used to be we always had to use hard-wired phones, now we've got cellphones and we can walk around and talk and communicate with anybody else. So imagine that every cell in the body has a cellphone, and that they communicate with one another until the cellphone batteries go dead or the antennae are damaged. In this analogy, we think the ORMUS elements go in and recharge the batteries on the cellphones and rebuild the antennas. Instead of just being able to talk to the cell next door, the cell in your hand now can talk to the cell in your big toe. In other words, all of the cells are instantly and continuously in communication. Physicists and biologists call this phenomenon of instant communication "quantum coherence." Everything is coherent and in total communication, instantaneously, all at once. Each water molecule gets into resonance with every other water molecule in the body. As the water molecules change their shape and structure, the water is patterned, and changes happen in the body. Information is imparted to the cell and to the immune system, as well as to the other systems of the body. These changes allow the body to heal more rapidly because the communication is perfect.

Adams: Do you have evidence to prove that ORMUS has healing capabilities? Carter: We have photos of a woman's tooth. The tooth had been broken in a stair-step manner, and it literally filled in just from drinking ORMUS water. Hundreds of people have reported benefits that include pain reduction, and improvement or recovery from serious diseases like cancer, AIDS, diabetes, and so on. You can find some of these stories on our Subtle Energies website. Several people have noticed that the ingestion of ORMUS seems to stimulate the kundalini energy flow in the body. A couple of people have said that it's like vacuuming the restricted areas of the kundalini, so that it opens the chakras that are tight or closed. Some people who have a tight heart chakra feel as though they're having a heart attack when they drink ORMUS water. The ORMUS is actually opening the heart chakra. A couple of people with heart problems have gone to the doctor and were told that their hearts had become totally healthy. Different ORMUS elements seem to stimulate the different chakras in a beneficial way. We're not really clear about which ones go with which chakra but there's some speculation about that. One of these days we'll get it nailed down, I'm sure. Adams: What kind of benefits have you experienced yourself from ingesting ORMUS? Carter: I don't hurt anymore. In my mid-forties I noticed that I had carpal tunnel in my wrist, my back ached, and I had general joint pain. When I stood up I would ache a bit. I've been taking ORMUS materials for six years and I don't hurt anymore. Now I jump up from my chair — I don't feel like I have to stand up carefully. I'm fifty-three and I feel great. I feel better than I felt when I was seventeen. I've also been taking one of the other ORMUS elements called ORMUS copper, and my beard is clearly getting dark again. So I've had some very great benefits. I feel as though the clock is rolling back for me.

alchemical ponderings
thinking about that website i found while researching alchemy that had an anecdote about a guy whos grandfather (jewish, who was a wealthy goldsmith) lived during the second world war. i think he was from poland, or some eastern european country. cant remember. he said (paraphrasing) that when the government began to crack down on jewish businesses / arresting jewish people and seizing their assets, he remembers his grandfather (who was also a rabbi) having very serious discussions with other jewish elders in the community which he didnt understand because he was a child, eventually they came to an agreement. his grandfather closed his shop, and then reopened it; and the guy remembers that the only difference was at the entrance to the shop there were a few barrels of fine white powder, with cigarette butts in them, used as ashtrays. he says he even remembers some police officers or government officials or something coming to their shop about something (this was before ww2 broke out, but as antisemitism was rising) something about taxes or somesuch, i cant remember. they walked right past these barrels, and even put out their cigarettes in them. they didnt realise a thing. they moved to another country, the US i think but im not sure it wasnt until he was a little older that he found out the secret, after his grandfather had died. he learned it from his father when he was taking over the business from him. he learned that there is a special way to purify gold into a white powder which is more like salt or chalk than a metal. and that this technique has been kept secret for centuries. it is done by grinding gold very fine and subjecting it to various ‘alchemical fires’ (mundane fire; grinding it to a power and then melting it. then grinding it to a powder again and then melting it again, many times over. and aqua regia, the only acid known to dissolve gold. ‘burnt’ many times and reconstituted; in order to purify it) in order to reduce it to ‘ashes’. he cites in the torah the story of the golden calf, as evidence of hidden alchemical secrets in the bible.
EXODUS:-32:19-20(KJV) :-
19 And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.
20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.
this is an incredibly interesting passage. it is well known that the hebrew people have always been master craftsmen, and also master goldsmiths. from the time of joseph. abraham himself was the son of an idol-maker. archaeological finds testify to this. the hebrew people were master metallurgists. remembering that the idol of the golden calf was made of pure gold; collected from the earrings and the jewellery which had been plundered from the egyptians; how then could it be burnt to ashes and mixed with water? everyone knows metals melt with heat, the ancient israelites knew it; and im absolutely sure the wise men who wrote the book of exodus knew this simple fact. why then this contradiction? there are many contradictions in the bible; but all of them are on purpose.
the answer today can be found with a google search; for we live in the age of the great initiation of mankind. ORMUS (from ORMEs, Orbitally Rearranged Monoatomic Elements); also known as monoatomic gold or monoatomic elements is a subject you can find a lot of information about online; and also a lot of disinformation. from what i know, monoatomic ‘isotopes’ (not sure if isotopes is the right word) of gold, and also all other noble metals do exist, and appear as a white powder which resembles silicon more than it does metal; and exhibits many strange properties. it is described as ‘exotic matter’. the knowledge of ORMUS, i believe, was popularised by a man called david hudson. i recommend you research his works and interviews. there isnt a lot of scientific data about ORMUS, atleast not that i can find online for free. you can buy the stuff, supposedly, but the cheap price of a lot of it on the market makes me think youre probably paying for just salt or chalk or something. (from what i hear, the mass of ORMUS is less than its weight in gold [literally] ([that is, x weight of gold alchemified = x minus some amount weight of ORMUS; therefore any meaningful quantity of ORMUS would cost atleast double what it weighs in gold]))
i have no experience with it, so i do not know; but i wouldnt be surprised if this is secret knowledge being supressed. if even half the properties ascribed to this substance are true, i can understand why ‘those in the know’ would want to keep it secret.
it should be noted also, that in the first and second temples of jerusalem the ‘showbread’ or ‘bread of the presence’, a mysterious substance, not very well understood; was made not by bakers, but by gold and silver smiths. the egyptian mfktz, and the alchemical powder of projection are also of note.
i recommend anyone interested to read/watch laurence gardners books and lectures on the topic, and also the work of david hudson himself.
#even reading through the rationalwiki page#it doesnt seem to be 'discredited' or 'debunked' at all#there are a few minor mistakes about complex chemistry and physics which david hudson made that are noted as evidence against him#but as a cotton farmer who had to learn science BECAUSE of his discovery; i dont count that as solid evidence#only problem is all scientific papers on this substance seem to held under lock and key#alchemy#ormus#ormes#monoatomic gold#monatomic gold#chrysopoeia

Ormus Gold

Where its found naturally:
David Hudson added that Ormus could be found in the air, soil, plants, stones, and the sea. Ormus elements are embedded into the DNA structure of plants and animals and are thought to be an integral part of our skin, nails, hair, blood, brain, and all the organs of our body.
Health Benefits of Ormus
Ormus elements are believed to be the life-giving elements found in all living being. They have been one of the best curative sources in alternate medicine as they are believed to rectify many ailments with almost magical powers. Many alternative medicine practitioners state that since our body is made up of these very elements, ORMEs make for natural, holistic healing devices. Since they aren’t made of any synthetic elements, they hardly have any side effects as compared to conventional drugs.
A lot of plants or foods like almonds, aloe vera, apricot kernels, garlic, royal jelly, sheep sorrel, and white pine bark are said to be rich in ORMEs. (also high in grape seed) The holistic benefits of Ormus are many, with a few of them being:
ORMEs are believed to restore original DNA structure, possibly even assisting in its evolution. This property speeds up the healing process in case of any injury. It also prevents foreign matter from spreading and causing further complications in the body. Ormus is a super nutrient which also reduces the need for consuming large qualities of food. Aging is a natural process which cannot be reversed, but Ormus can help in decelerating the aging cycle and curbing its onset. For example, greying hair, wrinkled skin, and other common signs of aging can be slowed down. Ormus also helps in keeping the brain active and boosts memory even in old age. ORMEs change our energy field into a super conductor, which helps in generating energy from within. You will notice a tremendous change in your body if you use this alternative form of medicine. Ormus also betters your state of mind and boosts activity levels. Ormus acts as a powerful cleansing agent and can rid your body of all the harmful toxins that are present within. This helps in preventing many dangerous ailments from surfacing in your system.
ORMES ORMUS for healing teeth, growing hair, looking younger...etc

Top 10 favorite Characters
For @thedeerfish. This list was slightly problematic. While I know exactly what characters are among my favorites, I never had the need to sort them into any kind of order. That is, until now. Oh, by the way, there is only one Top N list waiting in the queue, so if you like seeing these, you might go and suggest some. As long as it is Warcraft related, it’s good to go. Before you start reading this list, let’s play a game: Write down 10 characters you think I like. For each character on your list that appears here, you have a point. What’s your score? What's your most failed guess?
10. Griftah - He is a simple cheating shopkeeper selling useless things, sending clueless heroes to Zul’Aman. He has good lines. Ever since I’ve met him at the Shattrath Lower City, I wondered each new expansion locations “I wonder what Griftah is doing.” Given I play mainly Rogues, I was really happy about him being in WoD and later in the Underbelly. Let’s face it, where else would Griftah supposed to be than Underbelly? He isn’t much of a deep character with plenty of revealed lore, but he is one of those characters you just remember. Plus, with him the lack of lore and known personality traits doesn’t feel as bad writing but more as part of... What Griftah is keeping from us.
9. Har’koa - Cat mom. She is beautiful, she is a goddess, she is a mother. I have a lot of feelings about the adventures in Zul’Drak, especially about helping Har’koa. Plus it’s one of the few female characters I don’t feel Blizzard fucked up despite giving them some space. While it might be because she is there for like, 3 levels or so and then never seen again, I personally am of the opinion it’s because she was constantly in a form of a gigantic snow leopard and therefore couldn’t be stuffed in the practical female armor™ . Another thing is that Har’koa was never weak, even when she was trapped, and never stopped being kind and a goddess. I would really appreciate seeing Har’koa again. I would also appreciate an update on what is going on in the whole Northrend.
8. Maladaar - I haven’t got much reasoning here actually, I just happen to like him. On outland he was one of my favorite dungeon bosses and I was really sad about his whole story, despite I am not usually much into the “meant well but it went bad” backstories. Having Maladaar back on WoD was great and mainly the reason why I began to really like him. I mean, not only he is the Speaker for the Dead (which is, hands down, an awesome and a bit depressive title to hold) but he is also an active warrior, not just inactive priest who is defensive at best. He actually seeks justice. Maladaar deserved more space.
7. Chronormu - No such a list is, I think, complete without a dragon. There are plenty of dragons to choose from in WoW, so you can pick one to your taste. I like Chromie, the enthusiastic “let’s try again but better” dragon who decided not to be a boring elf but a Gnome (maybe she has a think for science?). She isn’t everywhere but she is everywhen, which is even better. She is cheerful even at the darkest hour without being an invasive optimist. Also Chronormu might and might not be trans. The -ormu suffix is, aside from Chromie, used only for bronze dragon males, while we always see Chromie as a woman. (How do you recognize a gender in a dragon when they are in a dragon form? You hardly do, they are reptiles, they don’t really have their gender visible.) Also I have a bet going on that when Nozdormu becomes Murozond, Chromie is going to become the next Aspect (or well... leader, since Aspects are no longer a thing).
6. Garrosh - First thing to remember: He fucked up everything he touched. Twice. He was given many opportunities for rising to greatness and also for redemption and he pushed every single one aside. He is a bad person. He isn’t a problematic fave, he is a total disaster and I absolutely disagree with what all he did. I don’t like for what he did, but because he is a damn interesting character (and mind you, it took me rather long to learn). And to me he is also to an extent very relatable, because I too used to view everyone around me as an enemy and tried to live up to my very awesome parent held in high regards by others who expected me to be exactly the same. So he made into the top 10 because he is a very interesting character, but I don’t really favor him as much as the others, because he is a bad person. I am still very salty about his death. I could have written it better.
5. Nozdormu - The only reason I don’t like Nozdormu more is because we don’t see much of him. He watches over time, travels through it as well. And he also looks damn fine. Like... damn damn fine. There is a picture of him in Troll appearance and that looks even better, but well, if he wants to be an elf... He is wise, he knows how and when and why he is going to die and he also knows he can’t do anything about it. Which is very heart-breaking, especially for him who just wants to protect Azeroth and time. He is in fact the most responsible person there is. A true Lawful Neutral. We all know what happens when he tries to change the history to be a better one (see Culling of Stratholme dungeon). Nozdormu is damn interesting and damn damn beautiful and I want to take him home and care after him so nothing bad would happen to him. He could do me the favour and be there more often in the game, me being the Champion Hero Adventurer and all, he could make some time for me.
4. Ortell - The first time you meet this dude, he is almost naked sitting in a cave in Silithus and he translates the encrypted Twilight texts for you, because he realized those fuckers are no good, so he abandoned them. Hermit Ortell was quite a nice character and I liked visiting him in his cave, always brought him some papers to translate and read, because he then sent me a mail saying how nice it was I remembered him. Like, one of the few persons who actually liked to see me. And the boom baby, he is now Elementalist Ortell at Mount Hyjal, helping to infiltrate the cult he once used to call home. He also got some very ominously sounding lines. I loved hearing he is well and still on his bullshit. BfA is going to be about the Old Gods, I personally am of the opinion that Ortell should appear again - let’s just throw him at N’zoth, that tentacle fucker is just gonna run for momma in fear of Ortell. In our house goes a meme: “Little (out)house, little (out)house, who is inside?” - “Elementalist Ortell!”
3. Oculeth - A prime example that first impression matters. His first instinct to seeing a suspicious armed stranger is to put him in a deadlock bubble. In that very moment as the bubble was rising my main slowly to the ceiling, I thought “I know him for only ten seconds, but if anything happens to him, then I’d kill everyone on this server and then myself.” Oculeth is a walking disaster, this close to just losing it, but he is still brilliant and not giving up, he is a gigantic nerd and just loves things that move around thorough telemancy. Let me show to him the Wester and Eastern Earthshrine, please! Let me make my mess of elf happy!
2. Kel’thuzad - The sassy intelligent founder of Scourge (more or less) who isn’t paid enough to deal with all of this bullshit. Having read the Road To Damnation, I now know he didn’t actually want the power but the knowledge. Knowledge seeker. I can relate. But he isn’t actually a tragic character (by canon interpretation at least) which is somehow really... amazing. Life and death both threw stuffs at him and he just kept all of them for later use. And we knoe he has a cat he loves, and when worried then floats around like a distressed nurse in a field hospital . Now when Bolvar is in charge of the Scourge, Kel’thuzad is, technically speaking, a good guy. Or a neutral guy at least. He serves the Lich King (he doesn’t have much of a choice) and that’s all there is. Plus I always had a thing for necromancy and liches and this dude has been among my favorites since Warcraft III (when I couldn’t even read, not to mention understand English) and like hell am I going to change that now just because he is seen as a problematic character. Of course he is a problematic character, all characters have flaws of some kind. If they didn’t they’d be all the same and boring.
1. Vol’jin - DAMMIT BLIZZARD I DON’T CARE YOU ARE BRINGING HIM BACK IN THE BATTLE FOR AZEROTH! YOU HAD LITERALLY NO REASON TO KILL HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE AND NOT GIVING HIM MORE THAN 5 MINUTES OF SCREENTIME AND JUST ONE BOOK IS INEXCUSABLE! Okay, now I have calmed down a little. He is a strong character, both physically and mentally. He lost his son, his homeland, his homeland v. 2, his best friend, his homeland v. 3, the he had to kill the said best friend, then he had to leave Orgrimmar and his race was treated poorly in the Horde he helped to form... And nothing of that broke him. Just like Garrosh, for him everyone around was an enemy. But he didn’t kill them outright, he negotiated, he calculated, and he waited. Instead of enemies he sought opportunities, he was flexible. Yeah fine, until MoP he wasn’t all that accepting to people but he was proved wrong and he admitted it and that is something even real people have problems to do. Vol’jin is truly an inspiring character who was never afraid to call out anyone on their bullshit while keeping to both law and moral. His greatest weakness was his own damned intellect when he had the tendency to make things more complicated then they actually were. He was never my Warchief (I personally think that Cairne or Saurfang should have been the Warchief, later Baine), but he is someone whose orders I would do without questioning, knowing that all the questions I would have asked him, he asked them himself too, twice.
Honorable mention: Taedal - I have this sort of feeling I am obligated to list him here, since I am his creation mother. When you think about it, Taedal si actually just an OC I made for a punchline of a list and wanted to keep him as a running joke. He developed into a full character since then and you all have just sort of... accepted him and no longer question his presence, not even you guys who are new here (maybe you have read the FAQ but I don’t believe it, nobody reads the FAQ). When you think about it, his character, as it has developed, shouts Mary Sue (or the male version Gary Stu) miles around. He is described as pretty and everyone seems to get along with him aside from two or three characters who are just porely biased and Taedal keeps proving them wrong. He is intelligent and handsome enough to get laid, but he doesn’t do it often. And he has a special ability (to break the 4th wall). He is a rebelling demon, for Light’s sake! And somehow... Somehow nobody really minds. Maybe it’s because I present him as sort of a semi-official character, and when we get down to it there are canon characters with less believable backstory. Somehow this character seems natural in Taedal’s case instead of bad writing. I have plenty of other WoW OCs whom I love more than Taedal, but they aren’t on this blog so most of them doesn’t know them, so no reason to put them here. Plus, I really like the world I have built around Taedal. That demon wanted his own datadisc, so he has it. With the help of me and some other volunteering people who don’t mind contributing to the BaDW wiki. (This motherfucker is greedy as hell tho, and wants a second expansion now. Slow down, lizard man, I am not finished with the first one yet!)
