like last year, I have very few goals art-wise. I'm still keeping in the habit of completing at least one or two pieces of finished artwork every week, and I experiment when I can. also working on photobashing a lot more, and it's been fun! I have a fairly large project that'll be released uh... whenever I get around to illustrating it fully. a sneak preview:

also, like last year, there's been a completely ridiculous amount of love for DECT. it's really amazing to see the amount of love it's gotten and the number of people it has affected. keep circulating the tapes! (also it got its own fucking tv tropes page this year????)

while these past months have had their own fair share of bullshit to handle, especially with my own mental illnesses barely under control; I'm happy with the amount of progress I've made with treatment and the amount of things I've been able to do in spite of it all. I got to knock a couple concerts off my bucket list, and was able to visit some long-distance friends. love you all very much, I hope to see you all someday :)

I really love the idea of the dynamics of Askr's tactics room cuz like

Robin and Morgan playing chess is much more of a spectacle when they're surrounded by people on their level. Plus there are 2 Robins and 4 Morgans and all the Morgans have something to prove with beating both Robin's. Hearing "Morgan is challenging Robin" does not narrow it down.

Morgan Drama in general, I feel like the four of them would be at each other's throats because "there's no way that you're me, you arent even good enough to be my fake"

All of them are tacticians who put their everything into making sure their friends survive, so any disagreements have a LOT more weight thrown around.

Also the difference in morals is interesting.

Soren is very "this is my job and that's it, we don't need to do anything further" which might change since he's now working for the Askr Royal Family and not a mercenary company, but I am not certain, citation needed.

Claude is more open to trickery, deceit and dishonerable tactics, but is very "leave no one behind" morally. He doesn't leave those under his purview helpless at the cost of the mission(particularly in 3Hopes)

Katarina is an assassin who just became a tactician as part of her cover, she keeps trying to leave but Kris won't let her. Major imposter syndrome because the Robins and Morgans keep saying she's a big deal.

Anna and the Summoner open the door to Leo and Takumi arguing and slowly close the door as they make direct eye contact with Byleth who's just taking notes on the actual legitimate points they're making.

Iago is there because he is technically Nohr's main tactician but no one listens to him or likes him because he's just objectively evil.

Aversa is also evil but the Robins and Morgans vouch for her and that annoys her even more than being ignored.

Every once in a while the Lords drop by to make sure their tacticians have eaten anything.

The more independent Lords who were their own tacticians try, but they get VERY lost very quickly.

Heaven help the students when the Byleths required them to sit in on the room and write a paper summarizing what decisions were made and why.

Different reference books from different worlds. There's a solid two weeks after anyone mentions a famous tactician that they studied where everyone's just like "who the hell is that" until they've all immediately devored every book that person wrote to debate whether or not they're full of garbage.

Welcome back to PJSK News! I'm your host, Tenma Saki, and because Hoshino couldn't be here today, I have brought a special guest! Special guest, how about you introduce yourself?

That's an easy one! My surname, Tenma, means 'pegasus!' Therefore, I thought it only fitting to use that as my stage name!

I knew that one! Hehe, then I could use that as my pen name whenever I write articles! ..On second thought, that might be a little confusing.

Let's see, the next question is.. by @ithappenedonroute66 !! "If you are a star, then are you the sun and going to explode in the far future?"

E-er, you see, I'm not that kind of star! I'm a great and talented performer kind of star! BUT! I will explode in a blaze of glory in the future! You'll see, Saki, and uh.. it-happens-route-6!

This is a brilliant news network, run by my dear sister Saki and her friends! I try my best to listen to every single one of their reports! ..Though I haven't listened to the one about Akito yet! I've been a bit busy lately...

As for what should be reported on! I believe everything Saki and her friends report on needs their full attention! That being said, I recommend other Sekai's! So far, PJSK News has only reported on evnets happening around Shibuya Sekai, so if they could branch off to other Sekai's, I think that would be very cool!

Ooh, good idea! I'll talk to Ichi about that! Uh - also, the Akito going to jail one isn't that big of an event, haha..! There's no need for you to watch it!

But stealing is no good! As the Pegasus and a world star, I should be setting a good example for all the young children out there! Everyone, if you're listening, don't steal!

yeah so my brother was over tonight and after we'd had a heart-to-heart and a gossip i stuck TEEN WOLF on—which he is aware of and knows it's one of my shows, but has never actually watched himself—just for a bit of background bc it was there in my 'continue watching' as i'm never really not watching it lol.

ANYWAYS we continued chattering through it for a while (the majority of eps 1&2) but then he started sporadically paying it more and more attention, till he was eventually commenting and asking me questions etc.

here are some of the veritable golden nuggets he dropped:

“the hammy lad with the face (jackson) is giving me such biff from back to the future vibes.”

“why is clark kent (he knows hoech from superman & lois) being an autistic male model with serious pmt?”

(still taking about hoec) “oh, bloody hell, he's actually really good looking, isn't he?!”

"the sfx in this are so fuckin bad they actually double back to being terrific.”

“so, are we, like, supposed to not give a shit about the main guy then, or what?”

(more scott talk) “although i do actually kind of want to hug him—but i feel that's somehow unrelated to his character.”

“pretending to do back flips off a roof is cool af i don't care what anybody says.”

(about k*te argent) “hoho, she's gonna turn out to be a massive cunt, isn't she?”

“this is fucking brilliant, they (the wolf transformations) look like were!fonzies!”

“jesus, we're like, 3 eps in and there's already what looks to be the beginnings of quite intricate character arcs? this show should honestly not be this intriguing, wtf.”

so yeah my hope is now obviously that he'll go home and get obsessed and spank the entire 6 seasons in 4 days and become one of our most prolific fanfic writers.
