It’s always been around since she was a kid, even before she was born. Her mother told her that it’s been in their yard since the day she married her father. It provided shade on hot days, a resting place to settle down with a book or two, and a place to hide when she was feeling down. Whenever she used to get upset, she’d run over to it and climb until she reached as high as her little arms would take her.

Paige will do anything and everything she can to make the person smile. She’ll offer to help them with anything they need and just go out of her way to spend time with them. 

When it comes to her family she’s the same way,but in a more teasing manner. She’s also more touchy with her siblings and mother. A pat on the back, a ruffle of the hair, or just snuggling up next to them are some of the things she’ll do because she’s comfortable about letting her guard down around them most of the time.

It’s a little worn out with holes in various places on it. The colors are faded from being washed and dragged around so much, but Paige loves it regardless. She wraps her diary in it and hides it under her pillow for safe keeping. It’s one of the few things of her father’s that she’ll never get rid of and will always treasure.
