It's December again and you know what that means! It's time for me to share my Non-Denominational Holiday Megamix! Now with over 100 tracks! (And also unsorted, so hit shuffle.)

Oh wait! None of you know what that means because last year I was shadowbanned (and didn't even know it) and most of you weren't following me anyway! All my hard work compiling songs and writing a witty breakdown of my collection, wasted!

I recently watched this video which I feel like describes a lot of the songs on this list. Despite the fact that any sort of "tone" or "harmony" lingo refuses to stay in my head, I feel like my own internal language and instincts did a good job at pointing me towards "winter" stuff. If you want to see what that "internal language" looks like, you can read last year's stuff, and if you think you can understand this "music theory" thing, you can go watch the video!

I'd also like to make special note of the original piece Racing Against a Clock by Artifex, one of my favorite Touhou restorers. The way the rushing time is conveyed by a cold, sharp feel makes it a perfect fit for this mix. Since it's the only song in here not from anything, I wanted to make sure you guys would notice it anyway!

One issue that I ran into was the removal of seven songs from the playlist, so it took a while for me to puzzle out what had gone missing based on what number they were and what series were copystruck last year. Now, though, I have a copy of the tracklist saved to my computer so if anything goes missing again I should be able to replace it immediately.

This year's casualties were the DPPt Pokemon tracks, the Kirby Cafe albums (again), and one Galaxy track (since most are uploaded by different channels). The SSBU OST also got nuked, but I wasn't carrying anything from that. Everything has been restored but I'm still hoping that someone will reupload the DPPt soundtrack so I don't have to use a (albeit very good and faithful! Check out Olive Expert!) cover for two of the tracks.

Also, the Sound of Kirby Cafe albums are no longer available as individual tracks anywhere on Youtube… that is, unless you're surfing through this playlist, which contains unlisted versions of (I think) all songs on both albums that you can then add to your own playlists (like I did to replace the old copies on mine). They're the ones by valternate, not by SiIvagunner… unless you're purposefully looking for meme remixes.

I haven't written many super angsty fics! Probably By the Horns or From Every Care You Could Release Me which are slightly more open ended, but not angsty by any means!

Bad Books imo! Because it's the most happy to me in terms of trans joy 😤

I don't currently, bc I've gotten more self conscious as my writing improves, but I have in the past! Mostly trans sex earlier on, and wilder stuff is some watersports, emeto, and an unpublished woundfucking fic 🥴

I haven't in a minute, but in another life (read when I was 13) I started writing a Naruto/Devil May Cry crossover that never went anywhere.

Someone asked once, but I never saw the result so I have no idea.

Yeah! I've written a few with my wife, and done one other collab that was never finished 😔

The aforementioned collab, mostly because I wasn't doing the prose writing, a t4t kogagoshi angst with a happy ending.

Not as good at describing as I'd like! I used to really struggle with writing less where more would be effective, but I'm working on it!

I'm naturally extremely shy. I think people think I'm outgoing because I like to engage with people, but it's also taken a lot of work for me to get there. If I can avoid talking and listen instead that's ideal for me.

Right now it's honestly probably the Bernie one. I hate it because I feel like people are using it to some can't take him seriously as a candidate, but also it's just so funny. Has my in hysterics every time I see a new one.

I do think most of them are cheesy, but I also think that's their charm.

I think I've made a couple of pretty sound decisions, but a big one is getting my car after my old one was totalled, despite complaining and protests. He's a good car

Not as recently as I'd like, but sure.
