Philly's been lovely so far, the tours have been insightful learning about Philly's role in the American Revolution (also some spooky urban legends), the Franklin Institute let me put my science hat on (also planetariummm), and the gayborhood's a nice scene (for being here on weekdays)--but le sigh no unzipping a hot local guy's pants has happened 😔

#ore no inochi #I have however found how unusable Grindr has gotten with its ads jeez #also the (occasional) bots #feel like I need to have a bestie evaluate my profile bc here or in NYC it's been a bit hard to click with someone 😩#I would like dating and I'm hoping talks with former Starbucks guy I like pan out as he puts his last guy behind him #but I'd like the occasional fwb in the meantime 😩#also was nice catching up with a good friend who moved here from NYC now that he's back from his Montreal trip #...though he was so cute in his floral tank top #i feel like we've clicked well--helps we're both in DSA--and we tend to have good eye contact together and I can kinda feel like he feels us #but then I think we'd also talked a few years back about being good as friends which works though I do always like seeing him #(there was also the time he visited some months back where he kissed me goodbye as I dipped into the subway... and we hugged bye twice today #each one seemingly mutually lasting a few seconds...#after a few hours i messaged about really liking us catching up and that the hugs were nice--and he liked it #I kinda feel like I did sense some hesitation about us splitting but I could also be overthinking this #given said friends thing I've kinda left it to him to clue me in if he's feeling things--we'll see how things go when he visits NYC in Aug #since sadly I leave tmrw afternoon to hit work again Friday lol)#but anywhooo yeah would be nice to get in some pants soon 😩
