"Trinkt Liquid Death flavored sparkling water.", The Deeps überlebensgroße Visage beglückte sogleich die Passanten im Umfeld. Butcher kam gerade aus einem kleinen Shop als der Clip lief, er blieb sogar stehen und tat sich das Elend an. "Dummer Fischficker", knurrte er in seinen Bart. "Jemand sollte mal bei PETA anrufen." Sein Wagen, ein alter klobiger Caddy aus den 80er Jahren, in mattem grau, parkte ein paar Schritte weiter die Straße runter. Er hatte sich aus dem Laden alles besorgt was man als aufrichtiger Bürger so brauchte: Bleiche, Gummihandschuhe, ein paar dünne Schläuche, Batterien, eine Gartenschere und ein paar andere Dinge. Dazu einen großen Coffee to-go, er hatte einen langen Tag vor sich. Zur selben Zeit gab es ganz in der Nähe einen kleinen Tumult zu beobachten. Jemand lief in leichter Panik oder zumindest in großer Eile den Gehweg entlang und rempelte dabei Leute an. "Hey, hast du keine Augen im Kopf?!", pöbelte jemand. Die Person probierte unterdessen nacheinander die Türen der parkenden Autos aus. Endlich! Dieser graue Caddy war nicht abgeschlossen. Er oder sie sah sich nervös nach hinten um und stieg einfach in das fremde Fahrzeug ein, das wäre tausendmal besser als auf offener Straße zu bleiben. Kurz darauf kam Butcher zu seinem Wagen zurück, öffnete die Beifahrertür, mit der Absicht seinen Kram auf den Sitz zu werfen aber der Platz war besetzt. "Oi…!?" Ihre Blicke trafen sich, offensichtlich beide irritiert. Allerdings verlor er wegen sowas nicht so schnell die Nerven, seelenruhig schlug er die Tür wieder zu und verfrachtete seine Tüten auf der Rückbank, bevor er hintenrum zur Fahrerseite ging und einstieg. Dann wandte er sich seinem unverhofften Fahrgast oder was auch immer zu. "Wer bist du und was zum Teufel machst du auf meinem Beifahrersitz?"

hi! is there any way we can encourage more people to post open starters? i'm finding it really difficult to interact with everyone when the dash is taken over by closed starters and it's starting to come off as a little cliquey and i'd hate for any new members to feel that way!

so  to  our  lovely  members  ,  at  the  risk  of  sounding  like  a  broken  record  ,  i  urge  you  to  POST  MORE  OPEN  STARTERS  !  as  stated  in  a  previous  ask  as  well  as  by  this  anon  ,  this  is  an  easy  way  for  members  (  new  and  old  )  to  dive  in  and  get  some  threads  going  without  having  to  do  prior  plotting  .  and  while  i  know  we  love  our  closed  starters  ,  this  anon  is  right  in  that  it  can  come  off  as  cliquey  to  constantly  see  closed  starters  with  only  the  same  couple  of  members  posting  opens  . 

this  has  been  a  reoccurring  issue  and  while  i'd  hate  to  implement  a  rule  to  get  people  to  post  more  opens  ,  i  will  consider  it  if  this  issue  continues  to  occur  .  and  as  another  reminder  ,  it  is  REQUIRED  to  answer  to  at  least  2 – 3  opens  per  2  closed   starters  .

to  anyone  who  is  concerned  about  what  to  do  when  there  aren't  enough  open  starters  to  reply  to  and  are  afraid  of  breaking  the  guidelines  ,  please  reference  these  asks  HERE  ,  HERE  &  HERE  and  a  recent  post  made  HERE  .  additionally  ,  this  information  can  be  found  under  the  ACTIVITY  section  of  our  FAQ  as  well  .

🗺️ How open are you to meeting new people? Do you like your muses being mentioned IC? To just anyone, or only fandoms/friends that you know?

Mun Communication meme

I like to think I'm open to meeting new muns and writing with blogs I don't currently write with. However, I know my preferences for writing partners and with those in mind, I tend to keep my circle more close-knit. This is mostly due to limited time: I work a full time and then some job that often leaves me drained (case in point: I'm working multiple weeks ahead on projects because I'm being sent to a work conference out of town next week for expanding my skillset, but my day to day work still needs to get done! So I'm working beyond my regular working hours for most of this month. Also, I have a convention at the end of August I'm prepping for).

So, I try to concentrate my writing time on threads that give me joy! These generally align with a writing style and muses/fandoms I can work with. I like longer replies and favor muses that I'm familiar with, have a detailed backstory I can work from, and/or come from contemporary or historical fandoms. I don't really like sci-fi and most fantasy fandoms (but I can work with some romantasy fandoms I'm familiar with), and it's hard for Sonia to interact with most supernatural beings unless it's pre-plotted (demons, talking animals, etc.).

As far as my muse (or at least, my portrayal of my muse) being mentioned IC, I'm a little picky about it.

I'm okay with my Sonia being mentioned IC if:

It's random dashcomm silliness and has no bearing on my IC storylines with your muse or others' muse(s).

If you are writing a multimuse or multiple IC blogs and my muse has either met yours before (generally the case for DR muses) or we've spoken about it. If I'm writing with Muse B on your blog and I've already written with Muse A with you or Sonia knows Muse A, Muse B can talk about how they heard about her from Muse A. But Muse A and Muse B are being written by the same mun.

I'm not okay with my Sonia being mentioned IC if:

A mun is bringing in my interactions with their muse into an unrelated thread with a completely different muse and mun. All of my interactions exist in separate verses unless that mun is writing a multimuse and there's interconnected muses in the storyline.

Mostly it can be hard to keep track of who knows whom, and it can feel like, depending on the IC interactions between my writing partner and others, that a storyline between my muse and theirs is being developed without any input from me.

And I should mention again: I'm a mutuals only blog. Please do not send me starters/tag me in starters if we aren't mutuals. If you have multiple blogs, I should follow one of them or your hub blog back. I do not write threads with non-mutuals. This is due to limited writing time and focusing only on threads I really enjoy.

First things first; this blog is a POKEMON OC and I will only roleplay with people from the Pokemon fandom or people who have Pokemon verses, to keep things neat and clean. I am quite the busy person, always doing 20 things at once and therefor, I will be a bit selective. Too many rp’s will just make things stressfull for me.

Despite this being a Pokemon blog, it will contain some nsfw content due to Jackson’s nature. Even if I might end up ruining my own childhood here, I can’t bring myself to roleplay a character without adding some lewdness and violence. BATTLE THREADS

Alright, I have years of experience in battle RPs due to my long history of violent muses.RP battles are nothing new to me, pokemon battles however, are. If you wanna battle Jackson I want us to talk about the outcome of the battle first. If we cannot decide who wins or loses, I usually go for rolling dice online since RNG is the fairest system in my eyes. Have the balls not to cheat when doing so, if you want a specific outcome just talk to me about it, m'kay?

SHIPPING

Since this muse is brand new I’m still testing things out with him considering his preferences and such. I won’t roleplay romance, since Jacks simply isn’t the type for romance. If you wanna ship, keep in mind that he isn’t the relationship type and prefers to go for one night stands. If your muse is very posessive or gets jealous easily, this might not work out unless you enjoy an rp situation like this. Aside from that, I’m open to try a ship as soon as I see chemistry between our muses. I also won’t smut/ship with underage muns.

[ hello, rae! i still have some time left before the new year begins for me, but i just wanna thank you for making my experience in the rpc a fun, uplifting one. ofc, i know i ended up taking a massive hiatus from kensuke and couldn’t even bring myself to write him long term (since i ended up hyperfixating over other characters and trying to get more interactions on him was like pulling teeth), but it still means a lot you welcomed me back with open arms!

like, i can’t express enough how grateful i am you ended up rolling with my obscure muse choices and just being open minded enough to explore different relationship dynamics with them, whether they be romantic or platonic. HONESTLY, i might not always be around anymore (due to the fact i have work 🥲), but you are seriously one of those few friends i made that make being here worth it; in fact, i ended up initially regaining my love and passion for writing because of you, when previously, i had lost all the spark i had in it following the nasty fall out i had with former partners… and was deeply insecure over my own writing, to the point where for the longest time, i didn’t think i would actually reach a point where tumblr rp would be a hobby i could enjoy again; only, i’m glad i ended up sticking with it, because in the end, i got to reconnect with you and other people i would never have met/written with provided i never stayed.

Aww, Livi, you are so kind! Thank you so much for sending this, it brought a smile to my face as I read it. As I've mentioned before: I care far more about roleplaying with you and the joy you have for your muses, no matter who the muses are. Your enthusiasm shines through each and every time (also, each and every time Sonia never fails to pester/be a nuisance to your muses so...that's what you sign up for each time).

And while we all hate work (eff work is a common saying in my house), I hope that no one ever manages to rob you of your passion for writing and roleplaying. I'm so sorry you were hurt by others, but in my opinion, never let anyone else ruin your fun around here. Write because you have stories to tell, because you love to write, because you don't know what you'd do without the creative outlet here.

Let's leave haters behind in 2022! If anything, consider the fact that for all the time muns spend trying to bring you down, they could be writing. Creating dynamics and storylines. Improving their writing skills. Instead of, you know, hating.
