There you and Ace were, in town, sitting behind a convenience store with slushies in hand. You were spending Spring break with Ace in Queendom of Hearts cause his parents were BEGGING to met his “stupid but kinda nice I guess…” best friend from another world! But soon he got bored and overwhelmed from all their embarrassing questions and lame jokes, Which ended up in him dragging you out and took you out to a spot he knew, a small 24-hour convenience store that him and his brother would go to as kids. Favorite thing was to get slushies and sit behind it in a little fenced up place for mischief, or I guess, in this a case a confession? His brother will torture him with tease if he knew he brought a girl there

He didn’t mean it! Ugh, you were both leaned up against against the wall and were joking around, harmless! Nothing could go wrong!

”Fuck I think I got a brain freeze…” Ace winced in pain, embarrassing. He was so focused on looking and talking at you that he didn’t even realize how much he was drinking. Damn cherry too good.

“thought your brain was already freeze dried” you taunted, you loved catching him when he was slightly down

“Makes sense, because if it was smart I wouldn’t graciously offering you to stay with me and hanging out with you! Like my Crowley impression~?” His cockiness shown through the pain of the freeze.

“Shut it.” Your main goal was to get a reaction out of him, if he got genuinely annoyed that would be funny as hell! “Oh if you were smart you would confess you love to me in detail and ask me to be your partner! But no your LAME, your SAD, your-“

That was the brain freeze talking right right?? You would think it was a joke right RIGHT?”

“No n-“ He felt you his mouth covered by a soft hand, yours. “You said I should accept I’m the one inlove with you right…?” You questioned with suspense in your voice “Mmmmm!!” “Nod or shake your head idiot”

He nodded after 27 seconds.

“okay cause i like you too and you make me happy and-“ suddenly you felt a soft kiss against your hand, It was Ace’s mouth who did that, grabbing your wrist tenderly and closing his eyes as he gave it a small peck. then you felt a rough hand on your mouth.

“I get itttt~! You want me BAD BAD! I’m saving you the trouble of being sappy and embarrassing yourself okay?” He let out a chuckle, but in true honesty he just stopped you because his heart couldn’t handle it, hearing you tell him how good he was, he didn’t feel like he had earned that yet, and his face would definitely show how he was feeling, and it was already tinted pink, don’t want it matching his hair.

“Give me your eyeliner, let’s put our initials on a wall” he said with a boyish grin, unclasping your face with a squeeze to your cheeks, feeling the smile on your face, contagious.

“Okay!” That smile will haunt him and he’s so damn happy it will.

Wow amazing your back in school, but the actual amazing thing is that now you have a boyfriend! And he’s sitting right next to you eating a chicken sandwich, all your friends had things to run at their clubs and had to eat lunch in there, leaving you guys alone. Though today, Grim really wanted something on the menu that was kinda expensive (for you guys at least) But you love him unfortunately and got it for him, he went to ramshackle to “save every bite” (putting it in the fridge), leaving you with a single protein bar. Hungry. But it’s okay.

“Geez I told you to not buy Grim that Crab… you gonna become a mummy next time i see you” you felt the concern-hidden-by-annoyance voice of your boyfriend, an arm wrapping around your waist, his eyes having a deep look

“Im okay really! Pfft- THE Ace Trappola concerned and worried about a poor little student like me~” you try to joke, even though your stomach is literally eating its self. (it’s real look it up)

“Yea and that student’s my partner, babe, eat.” That’s the most serious you’ve seen Ace. As much as you loved him, you were really scared that he would laugh at you if you told him you had no money to buy food.

You felt him drag you up by the arm and pull you to the line with force, but not enough to hurt you, it never hurt. “C’mon” “No no Ace-“ “Line you go.” “Ace please.” You held his hand tight, that got him to stop.

“I don’t… have money for food.” Your looked ashamed but looked away so he didn’t have more teasing material, humiliation fucking sucks, but you didn’t want to argue with your boyfriend so early, what if he…

Usually Ace would laugh and tease you, but he couldn’t, this was just sad. “Why didn’t you tell me? You idiot. What do you want?” He said matter-a-fact, his concern was mixed with annoyance, why wouldn’t you take care of yourself? Why didn’t you care about others so much? You’re hurting yourself. “Baby I don’t-“ he grabbed her hand hard to catch you attention, but again, never hurts.

“Y/N your going to pass out if you don’t eat, we have 3 more classes and I’ll make sure your fed, I’m not THAT shitty of a boyfriend, what do you want?” His hands started to feel a little shaky, why was he so stern with you? Yea he was worried about you, but he shouldn’t be so rude, so brash, but damn you need to take care of yourself, that’s it! That’s why he’s mad.

“Maybe that chickens salad in the vending machine…”

“Okay, c’mon.” He brought you there. Putting his money in, which the machine took forever to process, which that was registering he looked at you, he was in the right! But felt…I don’t know. he looked at you, looking nervous and not good, he sighed, tangling his fingers into the back of your hair and kissing your forehead tenderly, taking his time to make sure you felt it, his ears red. You froze, not knowing how to feel, but it calmed you and you closed your eyes. Then the food was ready. “Eat.” His hand on yours.

You flashed him that stunning smile “thank you. Okay babe.” Close call he almost lost that look from you.

— Fuck I made them cry

Ace’s behavior spiraled a bit. He started getting a bit snappier at you, become a bit more rough and stern, is he mad at you? You’re so confused, but even more tired.

“Ace.” You called his name and he looked over to you like a puppy, in the Ramshackle common room, he asked to copy your homework and you let him, but now you were just kinda sitting there awkwardly, and awkward and Ace did NOT match. “Yea?” He responded.

“You mad at me?” You asked timidly

“Well, kinda yea, you have no self respect or care, you sell yourself short to everyone, you do everything for everyone, you don’t sleep, eat, have time for yourself, have time for ME. God why are you such a doormat?” He spat it out like he had been holding it in for a while, this was usual for Ace but the words cut. Deep.

“Because I care about people Ace. If I’m not caring and kind I cant belong here! If I get in trouble badly once I can get expelled and I won’t have anywhere to go! I can’t help that I’m an empath, I’m the perfect! I get what you’re trying to say but why do you always look down on me so much cause I’m not like you?” He spat back, you were tired. Too tired. In the back of your mind, you knew he was right. But you were the Perfect. Kind, smart, no magic needed.

“Oh my god you overthink so much! I’m not looking down on you, can you not handle criticism at all? “Oh wow you’re the Perfect!” Don’t you realize that’s just a name? I care about you, this is why I’m saying it, not some paranoid reason like that. Sevens you’re sensitive.”

“Ace can you just for once In your life try to understand someone like me? Please I’m begging you, try! You are so damn immature that you can’t imagine anyway who isn’t like you! You’re a hypocrite and doesn’t accept criticism, you don’t try to sympathize with me, you don’t try your best to understand how it feels to be useless and magicless and surviving on being the child laborer of some shitty principle! Stop projecting on me and blaming me and look at yourself for you! You fucking dick…” you screamed at him, the waterworks started pouring, but they were cause you were so damn pissed.

Ace’s body grew numb and unable to move, he was about to scream at you but the tears stopped, oh my god he just made you cry before he even kissed you on the lips. What does he say? You’re being sensitive but also he’s also kinda bad? Just just-

“get out. Just leave me alone please.” You were in your last string and was facing the other way, he would usually stay anyway, but he knew he would end up saying something that would make you sob. Dumbass mouth. You sounded so desperate for him to leave.

“okay okay-?” One thing he knew is that you would NOT be okay alone. But he knew he couldn’t stay. He leaned over to you and cupped your cheek, giving it a soft kiss, his thumb trying to wipe the tears, before you could push him off, he was gone out the door.

Ace’s head felt like it was frozen again. Why oh why. He first started off by thinking that this was all YOUR fault. Your started crying, your were sensitive, your should just break up with him if you can’t handle him. Deep in heart he knew though, that’s his worse nightmare, then your smiles would haunt him and he would know that he didn’t deserve them, he didn’t want to hate your smile, your tears, he didn’t want to hate you.

He punched his pillow to get everything out, his room mates side eying his bed that was covered with curtains, he didn’t know or care, just in the dark of his curtain-covered bed, Thinking.

Now that he cooled down from the heat of everything, he thought of your words.

Buy your were so right. Why couldn’t he try to understand you more? Why did he get so defensive when you called him out on his BS. Why was he so aggressive with you that he felt like he had to yell at you? You’re so nice, so amazing, he literally imagined you with sparkles and butterflies and flowers fluttering around you, you didn’t deserve that. He needed to say sorry, as much as he’d rather suck up to Riddle than say sorry, he had to. he got up.

“Dude where are you going? It’s past curfew! Housewarden will kill you!” His roommate called out to him.

Ace sighed while he put on his jacket, he wanted to look presentable if he was going to apologize. “Name one time I’ve ever given one double doggy style damn about that guy.” …

“Exactly.” And he was storming out of that dorm as quick as light before anyone could reprimand him, only you matter right now, he only cared about what you had to say. Its you. Always you from the start.

The knock on Ramshackle dorm is LOUD, you open it cautiously with Grim by your side, ready to flame any bad guys. He you see it’s him you eyes widen. How to feel when you see a almost dying Ace infront of your door.

“Well you uh…. Definitely ran.” “Y/N I’m sorry. Fuck. Let me in?” Didn’t expect the words to come out so easily, but seeing you triggered them.

“YOU! You’re the one who made my henchmen all mopey! You des-!” “Grim I have a can of Tuna in the left side of the fridge under the rice and behind the eggs, leave us alone?” Oh you bet he skedaddled away.

“One way to get him out haha…” he panted out somehow, his pride was gone seeing your upset expression.

“Go on Trappola.” Ouch.

“Okay look— You’ right! I’m a hypocrite!” He put his hands up in surrender “that takes a lot to say okay? You’re the only one who has ever changed my mind on something okay? You get a Medal for that! But… I’ll try okay? I’ll try to understand you more, I’ll try to be more sensitive even if it kills me, I was a dick I understand. But I’m not backing out of the fact that you need to have more self respect and take care of yourself, I’m worried okay…? But yea…should have said it better.”

His hand grabbed yours and were shaking and sweating, “I’m sorry, next time I make you cry it’ll be because you’re so fucking happy you can’t control it.” That took the wind out of him. He looked so vulnerable, so scared, so weak. Nothing like the Ace you knew.

“it’s not okay. But I appreciate the apology. Honestly I kinda agree… I have been hard on myself, and I know you mean well… just… sigh.” You smiled a bit, laughing, oh thank the Seven.

“I made you crack and admit your wrong! No person could make THE Ace Trappola do that! I think I deserve a reward.”

He smirked and laughed, “Oh yea? What is it that you crave?”

“Kiss me.” didn’t have to tell him twice— his lips were smashed against your, arms wrapped around you tightly, it was rough, and filled with all the emotions you both felt, but it soon turned gentle and tender, so balmy, his hand on your cheek and your arms wrapped around his neck, sadly, air was real and it made you pull back. “That was damn good…” you panted out laughing

“A lot more where that came from Angel.” He matched your laugh

the melody of both your laughs rang through the surrounding area, so small, but not to either of you

“Yay our first argument!” You cheered with a cheeky grin. ”hope it’s our last for a while…” he smiled and ruffled your hair.

A/n: another game day fic we cheer this is a date fic one of my favorite writing prompt i hope you guys enjoy this, I would have had this posted earlier but tumblr sucks and didn't save half of the ending so I had to redo it but here it's, and as always happy reading, feedbacks are appreciated or commenting in general 💕

It has been a while since you ans the basketball player hangout, with both of you being full time students athletes your schedule would always clash and you guys wouldn't be able to hang.

But that didn't stop your late night calls catching each other up about what is going on in your lives.

Juju could tell you where having a strees full week from your track week and juggling having a part-time job.

You where getting ready for the day that you had ahead of you until you heard your phone pig. Picking it up you saw a message from juju.

You weren't going to question what she had planned because one thing about ju was she stays planning.

Your whole day went well, practice went well your after a while you needed to meet up with a few friends for revision.

You got back at your apartment around three in the afternoon. You started by doing your wash routine that conceited of a coconut butter body wash, then gentility exfoliating any dead skin.

Getting out the shower, you wrapped your towel around you, moving onto your skincare routine and body care routine.

Once you were done, you started getting dressed, picking a black flared tube bodysuit, and paired it with a cropped puffer jacket. You wore your white and gold Jordan 4 that juju got for you, and for a final touch, you added your white Prada cross bag to finish your outfit.

With a final touch of using the Vaseline body oil and your kali perfume in vanilla candy rock sugar.

You picked up your phone to text juju that you were done and she could be coming. After a few minutes of waiting, you got a text from her saying she was outside, but before you left, you replied, Your perfume.

Finally making it outside your building you saw juju leaned back on the car.

"You're right it just gets really irritating having to hear this." You sighed, needing to get that rant out of your system.

"Yea how did you even know I needed a day off".

"You looked like you were going through withdrawals on your spam."

"Ugh, don't remind me was spam was meant to be mysterious vibes only." You said.

Taking off your seat belt as she already found a spot to park.

"Pretty sure I'm the mysterious one." She said, raising an eyebrow at you.

"Whatever miss nonchalant, bring your face closer for a sec." You asked her

All of a sudden ju was all in your personal space, you looked up at her getting lost into those dark brown eyes of hers.

You felt her hot breath on your neck.

Next thing you do is pull the neck of her hoodie and go in for a kiss. It caught her off guard, but she found herself grabbing your face, deeping the kiss a little longer.

The both of you move back, trying to catch your breath.

"Umm, I'll have your chicken burger combo with a chocolate milkshake." Was what ju ordered

"And you miss".

"I'll have your chicken and beef pizza sandwich with a cold lemonade."You said

"Perfect would you guys like to pay now or later". The waitress had asked you both.

"I'll like to pay now." You told her as you started getting your card out.

"You'll be paying, yea no baby I got that what our total".

"Your total is 105". The waitress said she found you and juju amusing.

"Your always paying for everything I got this one". You said to her.

"Nah I got this". Before juju could do anything you grab both her hands and handed the waitress your own card instead.

"Here you go". You said to the waitress who immediately grab your card before ju could get out.

"I'll be back with your food soon".

"Thank you".

"Bruh why wouldn't you let me pay". She said crossing her arms.

"Because you always pay". You told her

"I pay because I enjoy treating you out". She said lowering her back on the chair.

"Well this one is my treat". You told her as you laid your head on her shoulder.

"This was supposed to be a fun relaxing day for you". She said.

"It's fun and relaxing because being with you is the quality time I need, so don't be sour Judea." You told her.

"Using my government is crazy." She said, wrapping her arms around your waist.

"Girl bye it ain't the end of the world and you do have a pretty name so yea infact might just be calling you that". You told her

"Sure baby." the both of you found yourselves looking at each other anyone could tell y'all got tension and chemistry together as a couple.

Before you both could do anything the waitress was already making her way towards you both.

"Here's your food hope you guys enjoy". She said before leaving you guys.

Anyone around the two of you could tell you both had crazy tension and chemistry, the attraction you both have on each other was something natural and couldn't be replicated.

You found yourself digging in juju fries that came with her meal.

"You got a problem miss Judea". You asked her as you took another one of her fry.

"You just have a pretty face and smell so good that I could eat you instead". She said making you almost choke.

"Ju, we're in public". You said nugging her.

"So?". She asked, not really caring. One thing for certain was that juju doesn't shy away from a lot of things. "Whatever big head".

You guys date continued you feed juju a few bites if your sandwich, chatted more about your goals and what you both want.

And you guys ended your night with a drive back to juju places and getting all cuddled up with her and duce.
