Hey everyone, I know it's going to be a busy day for a lot of people, but Google enrolled everyone over 18 into their AI program automatically.

If you have a google account, first go to gemini.google.com/extensions and turn everything off.

Then you need to go to myactivity.google.com/product/gemini and turn off all Gemini activity tracking. You do have to do them in that order to make sure it works.

Honestly, I'm not sure how long this will last, but this should keep Gemini off your projects for a bit.

SCRIPTURE:

Preach the word.  Be ready to do it whether it is convenient or inconvenient.  Correct, confront, and encourage with patience and instruction. ~ 2 Timothy 4:2

OBSERVATION:

Preaching the Word should be easy...

...but not when it's inconvenient to do so...

But inconvenience is an emotional or personal feeling...

What's convenient for me may not be for others...

...and so that's another opportunity to surrender what I want (or don't want), to God's will...

I mean, after all, the cross wasn't "convenient..."

I tend to have a hard time correcting and confronting...

...myself sometimes...

...as well as others...

...though I do think I am, typically, encouraging and patient - with others...

But with myself?

Too often - Not so much... 

Thankfully, the Father does all of these things through His Holy Spirit, His Word, and His grace and mercy...

Correcting me...

Confronting me...

Encouraging me...

Instructing me...

Patiently...

APPLICATION:

Preach the word...

Be ready...

Patiently:

Correct...

Confront...

Encourage... 

Instruct...

from verse 5:

Keep control of myself...

Endure...

Do the work...

Serve fully...

PRAYER:

Patient Father God - I confess to not always being ready to represent, share, and encourage through - preach - Your Word, feeling the Spirit's urging and leading and yet feeling the personal inconvenience and holding back for fear of being seen as self-righteous or hypocritical... and yet, You gave Your Son for my fear and hypocrisy and self-centeredness, and for that I am grateful, despite how I act sometimes... May Your Holy Spirit continue to encourage and instruct me to self-control, endurance, fully serving those You bring into my life, even - or especially - those who might pass in traffic, on the sidewalk, in the hallway... In Jesus's example of willful surrender to Your will, and in His Name - for Your ultimate glory, praise, and worship...

Joshua 20: God Commands Joshua To Instruct The Israelites To Designate Cities Of Refuge

1 Then the Lord said to Joshua: 

2 ���Tell the Israelites to designate the cities of refuge, as I instructed you through Moses, 

3 so that anyone who kills a person accidentally and unintentionally may flee there and find protection from the avenger of blood. 

4 When they flee to one of these cities, they are to stand in the entrance of the city gate and state their case before the elders of that city. Then the elders are to admit the fugitive into their city and provide a place to live among them. 

5 If the avenger of blood comes in pursuit, the elders must not surrender the fugitive, because the fugitive killed their neighbor unintentionally and without malice aforethought. 

6 They are to stay in that city until they have stood trial before the assembly and until the death of the high priest who is serving at that time. Then they may go back to their own home in the town from which they fled.”

7 So they set apart Kedesh in Galilee in the hill country of Naphtali, Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim, and Kiriath Arba (that is, Hebron) in the hill country of Judah. 

8 East of the Jordan (on the other side from Jericho) they designated Bezer in the wilderness on the plateau in the tribe of Reuben, Ramoth in Gilead in the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan in the tribe of Manasseh. 

9 Any of the Israelites or any foreigner residing among them who killed someone accidentally could flee to these designated cities and not be killed by the avenger of blood prior to standing trial before the assembly.
