augh i tried skimming through the masked empire to gain the lore minerals for my dumb google doc... the writing is Okay, but the "entire unaddressed celene narration about how shameful briala's skin tone and hair colour Must Be" was so... extremely stupid. and the overall plot is a bit [ben affleck smoking.jpg].

and the whole "oooh they're cool perceptive spies!" bit falls apart at times. a lot of it is people doing bbc sherlock-style "your scratched phone charger means you're an alcoholic!!" types of insane leaps of logic. also for some reason briala thinks THIS is a normal way to do an assassination and make it look like a regular crime.

just climb it?? do elves no longer get a dexterity bonus?? help. zevran would not have done this 😔
